Clean room, felt safe throughout our stay, and the breakfast was decent—overall a good experience.

The only downside was being assigned a second-floor room with no elevator. It was a bit challenging with luggage and my husband’s knees.

That said, I would still stay here again—just would request a ground-floor room next time.

This a quality Quality-Inn. Check-in was efficient and informative, the rooms are clean are relatively large, beds are comfortable. The included breakfast is particularly good, with options of freshly self-made waffles, bagels, etc. On the minus side, the TV could be larger. The floor/ceilings seem quickly/but we were lucky that the upstairs neighbors were not noisy (maybe choosing the second floor could be recommended)

We had reserved one room, and had used points from Hotels.com.
When we arrived, there was total confusion because they had two room reservations and asked us whether we had canceled. We sat in the lobby and waited for a while until the boss of the person at the front desk called and worked on the problem. There was some discussion of how the Expedia card did not work, but we know that we have never had this problem before.
Local staff did everything they could to solve the problem, but the problem was between the Hotels.com reservation and Expedia.

Stayed there one night in early November for $120 including taxes. It’s low in price to value ratio for a motel room perhaps due to its location close to the Canyon Rim visitor center of the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve. Otherwise, I would think $70/night should be the fair value.

Very clean and quiet. Breakfast was really good and we appreciated the longer hours for it. The front desk staff and breakfast worker were both friendly and did their jobs well . I was put way in the back building. It seems that every time I book through here they put me in the back where they never seem to care what the property looks like. Garbage around, cigarette butts all around the ground around the outdoor table. Dog poop not picked up. Service workers stay there and they seem to take over and not care about the other guests spots to park.

Sometimes you get more bang for your buck. Not here. You get what you pay for. The staff was great and helpful. The room had a moldy bathroom. Mold on the tub and ceiling. We did not complain as our stay was short. Beds were clean sheets were clean. If your neighbor smokes you will hear everything they say outside of your room. Very convenient to downtown Fayetteville and new river gorge bridge and local hikes and adventures. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Initially I was surprised by how clean and new everything was. The room was lovely but there was some black mold in the shower and it should be dealt wish as many people have severe allergies.
Staff was so very friendly and we requested towels our second day with no issues.
Breakfast was pretty standard hotel fare. There we mini omlets, biscuits and gravy, you could make waffles but one woman was making many while we were there so we didn't get a chance to try them.

The property was nice enough but for what I want in my extended stays this did not meet my expectations. The tv situation is horrible. Zero HD programs and the tv wouldn't configure to allow for watching sports so that the whole image is on the screen. There's limited food options around but if you like fast food and a couple of sit downs it's ok. The was a Starbucks close by which was helpful bc you couldn't get coffee early at the hotel. Overall for a single night stay it's fine but several days was less acceptable. Tv was a big part of this for me.

The hotel room was clean and tidy, however, the room smelled musty and there was a mildew problem in the room. It was hard to sleep there and our allergies the next day were awful. When I spoke to the front desk person upon checkout, she was apologetic and gave us a 15% credit, but that wasn’t satisfactory.

Our new overall stay was nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was good. The only thing I wish they had was an area to exercise your pet. You can find small patches of green space but they needed attention due to litter and taller weeds. A fenced in area specifically for pets would have been a welcome addition.

There were no toiletries such as shampoo or conditioner provided in the room—only a bar of soap was available.

Additionally, when I asked for recommendations in the area, the front desk clerk simply responded, \"our bar is good.\" As someone who travels frequently and was new to the area, I would have appreciated a bit more insight or suggestions on places to visit or dine in town.

It is close to the entrance of New River Gorge, so that's why we booked it. The room was clean, although the carpeting looked old. The bed was comfortable. The breafast is in a separate part of the facility, so we had to walk outside to get there. I appreciated getting a room on the lower level so we didn’t have to climb stairs.
