The best thing about the Parc Hotel is the location for accessing the ski lifts. The Hotel
is situated in the centre of lower part of town so easy to walk to shops, climbing centre and close to bus routes. The rooms are clean and comfortable and staff very attentive and kind. I would recommend this hotel for families.

Spoke with staff on the telephone explaining the delay in Italy and I would arrive very late that night.

Ok for a one night stay

Overall a fairly nice hotel. Staff were not very friendly or helpful though.
The room was clean except for old tea left in the coffee pot, obviously not cleaned from the previous guests.
Parking is charged for on a daily basis but hotel carpark was full . Thankfully there was available public carpark nearby

A great find at short notice

My friend and I were following the Tour de France when we found the road from Briancon to our next destination had been closed due a mountain landslide. We were able to book a room at the Parc at immensely short notice which was a huge relief. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the view from our balcony was spectacular. We only stayed overnight and left early the following so did not get to use the pool or have breakfast.

pretty basic hotel service. rooms are small but we were lucky to actually get two beds as requested. the mattress kept moving around and felt like it would fall off. there was just enough room to walk around the beds. Check in was at 5pm and check out was at 10am no exceptions so basically paying for 17hrs. it was very frustrating since we were there for a world competition and needed the rest instead of waiting at the lounge. They only provide min soaps and towels and dont dare ask for more even if you stay longer.

The location of the hotel is quite central. But, because of that availability of free or cheap parking space for the car is important. After a long and tiring trip, the last thing we would like was to be waited 20 minutes out of the hotel garage to park our car for 12 EUR per day. The check- in also took about 20 minutes. The room was very small and it did lack any kind of air conditioner. In hot summer days, it was like a sauna and we tryed to avoid going into the room as much as possible.

Centrally located room layout a bit cramped with numerous doors. Toilet claustrophobically small. Good view from upper floors Breakfast buffet adequate but not exceptional. located in the basement. Reception area next to a bar small and not signed..two lectern type desks and nothing else.....rather spartan. Would stay again as a transit hotel. This could be a great hotel if they paid more attention to furnishings and detail. in public areas.

Good quality and great value for money

Hotel was in good condition and looks to have been recently refurbished. Rooms were comfortable and well equipped- a little smaller than you’d get in some countries but that is typical of hotels in the alps. Spotlessly clean and well maintained.
Service at reception was efficient and welcoming.
The hotel has a small breakfast room but no evening restaurant of its own - although that is not a problem as one adjoins it and is of excellent quality. Breakfast was very good quality and nice range.
Overall, a really nice hotel in a great location. Good value for money.

Good hotel in beautiful Briancon.

Great place if you are passing thru or on a moto. In downtown, close to everything. Breakfast was huge as compared to most places and they let you, actually encourage you, to make and take a sandwich. The only possible complaint was the parking for motorcycles was not great.

I was expecting a great 4 stars hotel... we arrived at 3:30 pm and were charged 25 Euros for checking in before 5 (never ever heard of this and I have traveled a lot!). Staff was a bit rough for a 4 stars hotel. There were only 10 parking stalls and they were all full, so I had to park outside the hotel. In the peak of a heat wave found the room had no air conditioning. Breakfast was rich but poorly organized. Found an inch of water in a clean cup. Flies were on some of the food.... check-out was 10am, way too early, routine checkout time is noon in most premises.

Don't waste your money

We had reserved a standard room, but boy, standard means if you were a bit on the large size, you would not fit in the tiny room that housed the toilet. The room was so small that to go around the bed to the door, we had to walk sideways! Paper thin blanket and the most uncomfortable pillows you can imagine. The mattress top kept sliding, my husband almost fell on the floor. The only positive thing about the room was the free coke and water in the minibar. The surrounding areas were wonderful and really beautiful. Try to see the market on Sunday, it is fantastic. And although it is a hike to the top of the hill, the old town is very nice and has great restaurants.

Positives - the location is beautiful as are the buildings of the hotel.
Decoration is tasteful and atmosphere very welcoming and casual.
Negatives - rooms can be small even by French standards. Responsibility is on us hotel clients to be rigorous if space is an issue to check with the hotel directly, something I did not do but will on my next visit. The room was clean but the bathroom could have used a final check as there were hairs in the basin and shower - something that can be off-putting to many of us. By far the experience overall was very good and we have already confirmed our next visit.

Breakfast is very good. only drawback was that the room was too warm and no air conditioning. ther was a fan and the window could be opened. pArking is terrible- very few spots and small area to turn around in.You must reserve before arriving. Expensive and insecure parking - openair, password required to get in, but not to get out!, kepad for barrier situated on opposite side of barrier support so you have to get out of carr to enter code. Tax de Sejour seemed expesive >E2 pppn.
Lavatory narrow so couldn't get knees far enough apart to defecate and clean in comfort.

The staff was friendly and everything was to our satisfaction. The attached restaurant had live entertainment and was a complete wonderful story by itself. Seldom have my wife and I felt so comfortable and welcome in a restaurant.

Loved that when we checked in they told us that the breakfast buffet was equipped with bags, etc, so we could make a lunch to take with us the next day. Room was a bit small, but modern and clean. Windows can open which is a plus. Wi-fi a bit slow and we had to sign back in often.

Good hotel, well positioned for ski lift.

This is a good comfortable hotel. They do an All Inclusive option which is very reasonable, nice buffet style food and drinks from a small bar which unfortunately always seemed undermanned.

The only problem with the All Inclusive is it makes the whole dinning experience feel more cafe than restaurant.

We booked through hotel.com a triple room but on arrival we were told the hotel was fully booked and they didn't have our booking. They had a no show so we got put in a double room, super hot and no air con. Surprised a hotel with 4stars doesn't have air con, only a little fan. Did not sleep well due to heat and stuffiness.
Staff looked very busy but it was great they managed to find us a room at least.

Relay nice hotel in a great location. Approx 5 minutes walk from the lift, a two minute walk from the supermarket. Near the town centre an right near some lovely restaraunts.
Croissant and pan au chocolat available for free in the afternoons should you wish.
The staff are absolutely lovely, English speaking and very very helpful, we couldn't have asked for any more.
The only grumble was that the beds were too soft. Other than that, no complaints. Would thoroughly recommend!

Nous sommes venus sur l'établissement afin de profiter du spa.
A notre arrivée il est en panne,on ne nous prévient même pas ! Le lendemain nous y allons avant de partir et nous devons donc payer le stationnement...
Une fois changés, le sauna était éteint et la piscine glaciale! Ça n'a pas semblé être un problème pour la direction qui n'a rien proposée comme solution ni dédommagement.... Séjour sans intérêt dans cet établissement qui prétend avoir un spa loin d'être à la hauteur.

En déplacement et grand amateur de foot j'ai réservé dans cet hôtel car il était précisé et il est encore précisé\" chaîne par satellite\"

Il y avait un match de ligue des Champions que je voulais suivre, sur lequel j'ai même parié.. ET FINALEMENT PAS DE CANAL .. je demande à l'accueil... Le jeune homme me répond qu'il n'en sais rien... C'est bien gentil mais bon, c'est juste de la fausse publicité..

Si il n'y a pas les chaînes indiqués, il y avait d'autres hôtels..

Je rejoins aussi un commentaire précédent : 15 € le petit-déjeuner, c'est un peu beaucoup.
Un sucrier pour toute la salle... Même pas de sucre en dosettes... Je vais le chercher sur la table d'une dame et la dame venait le récupérer après... C'est moyen

Hotellet er ok til en enkelt nat eller to - sengene er fine med individuelle dyner og puder.

MEN man skal IKKE tilkøbe morgenmad. Morgenmaden er under al lyrik kritik. Røræggen havde trukket tyk skind, pølserne var utilberedte, bacon var ikke-eksisternde. Det kolde var også dårligt. Derudover var personalet ingen steder at se og bordene stod uryddet fra tidligere gæster!!

Så nøjes med at bruge hotellet til overnatning på et kort ophold i Briançon!

À la place, j'ai eu deux petits lits \"collés\".
Honteux de ne pas avoir un vrai lit double.
Je voyage beaucoup, même dans des 2/3 étoiles, ils mettent un vrai lit double. Pas digne d'un 4 étoiles.
Quant au repas.... 26 euros pour un \"self-service\". Le choix était beaucoup trop limité, et rien que l'aspect des aliments ne donnait pas envie. Et que dire des mouches dans les plats !
J'ai vite fuis cette horreur, pour aller manger dehors.
Une honte cet endroit. À supprimer pour moi.
Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel clairement.

L'hôtel a été rénové. Les chambres sont corrects mais petites. Notre chambre était propre. En revanche, flexible de douche détérioré, plateau de courtoisie absent pourtant prévu sur le papier. Nous avons réservé pour 2 nuits. Le lendemain, à 18h20 la chambre n'était toujours pas faite. Impossible de se poser ds la journée puisque la chambre n'était pas faite. La responsable me répond que ds cet hôtel c'est comme ça et que j'ai été informée ! Faux, sinon je n'aurais pas réservé ds cet établissement. C'est bien la 1ère fois que je vois ça. Le petit-déjeuner est cher pour la qualité des produits proposés et les prestations. Viennoiseries brûlées, jus d'orange imbuvable, aucun produit local. Même les céréales sont bas de gamme. 15 € pour un tel petit déjeuner c'est trop . Le rapport qualité prix n'y est pas. Séjour très décevant. Je ne recommande pas.

Tout d'abord les informations pour d'hôtels.com sont fausses. Il s'agit de l'hôtel \"Le Parc and spa\". A Briançon personne ne connaît l'hôtel Sowell. Même pas la policière municipale à qui nous nous sommes adressé. En plus l'adresse est fausse... Et quand on appelle, c'est le numéro d'Aix-en-Provence et personne ne répond.
Toutefois le personnel est très agréable et nous avons été surclassé en suite.
La piscine est glacée (si elle est à 18 c'est un maximum), le petit déjeuner, pantagruélique !

Pauper hotel. Vieze trappen dus we moesten de lift wel nemen naar de eerste verdieping. De bar was in de lobby. De tafeltjes waren niet schoon. De matras op het bed was versleten en oud. De toiletruimte was veel te klein en zo smal dat je geen ruimte had om je broek op te trekken. De naam van het hotel is de enige luxe de rest is bar en boos.

23 nuits première nuit pas d’eau froide douche bouillante, chambre faite une fois sur trois 11 eme nuit pas d’eau chaude cette fois ci le ventilateur m’a été retiré. Fuite d’eau bruyante car changement du mitigeur fuite d’eau présente jusqu’à la fin du séjour ce n’est pas du tout eco responsable comme le prétend l’établissement. Oublie de déposer de nouvelles serviettes. La responsable ne me disait même plus bonjour après mes plaintes. Le personnel était sympathique. De la cendre de cigarette était présente à la fenêtre de la chambre or je suis non fumeur. Chambre poussiéreuse

Centralt hotel med hyggeligt nærmiljø

Det var en enkelt overnatning på vores motorcykelferie. Hotellet har en fin beliggenhed i centrum af byen hvor der er hyggeligt miljø. Morgenmaden får mange stjerner - langt over forventning.

Personnel très accueillant et très aimable. A réagit avec le sourire et beaucoup de professionnalisme à notre arrivée à 20h lorsque nous avons réalisé qu'il manquait un lit (sans doute erreur de Expedia). Bravo!

It was a nice and cozy hotel, with nice workers there, and in the center of Briancon. The only down side was that thet didn’t clean our room during the stay. But it was nice and clean when we came.

We hebben een heel prettig verblijf gehad hier en ook onze hond was enthousiast! Bij aankomst kregen we heldere uitleg en konden we meteen het zwembad en sauna reserveren (dat moest ivm COVID-19). Mooie kamers met lekkere bedden. Verder mooie omgeving en leuke eettentjes in de buurt. Elke zaterdagochtend is er een markt voor de deur.

L’hôtel n’étais pas du tout ce dont nous imaginions. L’arrivée à 17h notre chambre n’étais pas encore nettoyer, on nous a mis à la piscine le temps qu’elle se netoie mais aucun spa ni personnelle pour nous proposer de hammam, la piscine été froide les douche ne marchais pas. Puis arrivée dans la chambre nous nous attendions pas à ce que la chambre soit avec des plafond si bas ce n’étais pas mentionner par contre pour la terrasses super ! La douche été petite pour un 4 étoiles c’était vraiment n’importe quoi. Les commodes de la chambre été fermé à clefs, le lendemain nou avons attendu la matinée pour qu’ils vienne nous apporter des serviettes propre et nettoyer un peu la chambre mais en vain ils ont tapé à notre porte alors qu’on dormez à 17h !! Pour dire service de chambre on viens nettoyer incroyable ! Le personnel ce contredisais quant aux boisson et formule tout compris bref jamais on y retournera seul l’emplacement été assez bien

Der Service lässt zu wünschen übrig...

Das Zimmer war bei meiner Ankunft sehr warm da das Fenster (zur Westseite) bei voller Sonneneinstrahlung offen Stand und es hatte keine Klimaanlage, was aufgrund der Temperatur zu einer unruhigen Nacht führte. Auf die Frage, wo ich das Motorrad abstellen darf, konnte man mir keine Auskunft geben. Es hiess lediglich das der Hotelparkplatz besetzt sei... Alles in Allem definitiv keine vier-Stern Hotel was Service anbelangt.
