Great place to stay in Talamone

Perfectly clean, newly refurbished, comfortable. Great service.
Room 209 was most likely the most beautiful and comfortable in the hotel.
Parking is available in the port (white line slots are completely free), you can nevertheless go to the hotel to offload your luggage and then park in the port some 200m away.
We also appreciated the whirlpool on the roof, which offered a great view all around.
We had trouble with our air conditioner; it cooled to 18 °C regardless of the setting - nevertheless, we believe it is just an accident.
Careful, there is no lift to higher stocks!

Hotel placed in very good location. But \"continental \" breakfast is not meaning propal continental. 1 kind of cheese, eggs and some bakery. Yon can sleep up 8 am, no chance to sleep more(( because clock gong will wake up you. Female staff was very rude, who is working at restaurant.

Great location, friendly hotel

Located right in the centre of town, near the small private and public \"beaches\". Facing a charming, peaceful square. Free parking on street is usually available within a couple of minutes walk - not bad by Italian standards. Hotel staff are very friendly, rooms comfortable and clean, breakfast adequate. Jacuzzi on roof a bonus - lovely view. Overall a homely place.

Small port village

We were allocated a downstairs room (Windows at ground level because of the slope of the land?) Because of the bicycles we were changed to a room with balcony, but it was definitely smaller than 19sqm - we thought we were paying for premium room. Breakfast was well presented with plenty of everything.

Good stop over

Not a four star hotel but a nice place for a stop over to or from Rome. Some nice restaurants and bars nearby but quite a small town with not much else. As mentioned in other reviews its more like a two star hotel than what you would expect from a four.

Located in a beautiful sea side village

We were on our way to Rome and picked the hotel pretty much at random. The village itself is picturesque and post card pretty. There are a number of restaurants within easy walking distance and the port is on the doorstep. The hotel itself has lots of character and whilst the rooms & bathrooms are a little small I think that is to be expected in a building this old. We really enjoyed our stay and the staff were very pleasant and very helpful. I would recommend this village and hotel.

Not what we expected

The hotel was by no means a 4 star hotel. There was not a pool but an old spa on the roof that was not heated. The rooms were small and the flooring was actually like a blue astro-turf ???

If you want a room with a decent view on the top floor, be prepared, there is also no elevator in the building!! Great for a work out.

If you are looking for 4 star amenities this is not the place. It is at best a 3 star location.

On the positive side, it is located in the heart of the small fishing village and you can walk to the restaurants in the town or to the port to rent a boat.

This is a quiet little hotel, quite easy to find considering how hidden away it is. The staff was nice and the rooms clean and quiet. We enjoyed our stay and found many small restaurants in the area within walking distance.

Charming and random!

Well, if you're staying here to begin with you either know the area well or not at all! We selected it because of its proximity to Monte Argentario. Talamone is absolutely stunning. The hotel itself is small but nice. The views from the top room and surrounding areas are amazing. The staff is very friendly. The beds are terrible! But they're terrible everywhere in Italy, so don't hold it against them. The rooms are small, but with so much to do around the area, you don't spend much time in them. I definitely would go back to this town and this hotel.

Very nice stay. Great local knowledge. Sent us to great restaurants. Nice family running the place.

Good parking. Nice room overlooking square. Very helpful staff. This is a nice Italian hotel. Do not expect American chain like place. After all that is why we travel. If you need your hand held and expect everyone to speak English it is not for you, but if you like a view of the Ocean from the roof to die for, or a less than 500 meter walk to see the sea or the harbor with millions of $ worth of yachts, you will like this place. National park a short drive and worth it.

The staff was just amazing. We wish we could have stayed longer cause we loved our room (especially the balcony). Thanks to thr staff that picked up us in last minute when we were lost, and fixed a taxi to our new location. They really outdid themselves to help us. We will come back!

Hotel carino ma camera troppo rumorosa.

Camera di fianco alla reception, senza nessun tipo di insonorizzazione, in pratica si sentiva tutto quello che succedeva all'ingresso, impossibile riposare. Purtroppo non mi è proposta nessuna soluzione al problema anche se c'era consapevolezza del problema, neanche un paio di tappi per le orecchie. Peccato perché a parte questo l'hotel sarebbe anche discreto e con un buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

Praticissima sistemazione al centro di Talamone. Non abbiamo avuto problemi con il parcheggio, essendo venuti durante la settimana, ma comunque l’albergo ha un garage a prezzi onesti. La zona è silenziosa, essendo ztl, ma per il carico/scarico si accede con la macchina

Hôtel très bien placé vue sur la mer depuis la chambre.
Par contre sur la seule plage publique qui est accéssible, les transats semblent réservés uniquement aux italiens. Toujours pleins même si tous les jours la moitié est occupés.... pas sympas.

Sono stata di passaggio un paio di giorni.
Struttura vecchiotta, camera piccola e non perfettamente pulita (qualche capello nel bagno e asciugamani macchiati).
Colazione discreta. Posizione buona, parcheggio in paese difficoltoso. Non abbiamo usufruito del parcheggio della struttura.
Non lo classificherei come una struttura a 4*.

Tramite internet non è possibile capire la differenza tra una camera economy salvo 20€ di differenza e una standard quindi ci siamo trovati in una delle 4 stanze ricavate sotto livello reception; l’umidità impediva agli asciugamani di asciugarsi così ai costumi non essendoci la possibilità di un affaccio esterno per stendere. Ci è stato detto che le camere economy sono così se volevamo stare al primo piano dovevamo prenotare standard ...mah. Il punto è che per noi quelle 4 stanze servono per fare numero ma dubito essendo anche un po’ maleodoranti che siano nella media ;sicuramente un turista si adatta meglio di una coppia italiana...perplessità sulla colazione non c’era un’offerta di frutta fresca di stagione adeguata ( a volte occorre riflettere che non tutti possono mangiare dolci e biscotti ma magari uno yogurt, della frutta secca oltre a quella fresca ...) suggerimenti che potrebbero fare la differenza nel rapporto qualità prezzo.

Mi hanno detto che l'albergo era a Orbetello ma non era cosi, era a Talamone a 23 km del centro di Orbetello. Non è un albergo di 4 stelle. I materassi erano vecchi, ho dormito malissimo, la loro colazione CONTINENTALE...era PROVINCIALE. quando ho chiamato, mi offrivano il garage per 5 euro, quando sono arrivato il prezzo diventai 10 poi 8. ho pagato 8 euro per giorno di garage. il check out era alle 12 e volevano che lasciassi la camera alle 11.

Albergo in posizione centrale, tutto è a portata di mano. Si può raggiungere in macchina. Il personale è gentilissimo e cerca di soddisfare al meglio ogni richiesta degli ospiti. La colazione è ottima. Abbiamo passato una piacevole vacanza. Lo consiglio vivamente. Unica pecca l'arredo un pochino datato. Per tutto il resto è perfetto.

Struttura un po' datata, ma nel complesso gradevole.

La camera assegnata, essendo priva di balcone, era carente di uno spazio per stendere salviettoni e costum, cosa che risulta essenziale in una località di mare.

Talamone è un gioiellino, con panorami bellissimi e gente simpaticissima. I dintorni sono altrettanto belli. Sono raggiungibili facilmente molte località assolutamente degne di una visita. Cose da fare quante ne vuoi (mare, crociere verso le isole dell'arcipelago toscano, escursioni nel parco, terme, equitazione, vela, ecc.) Gastronomia toscana eccellente. Per quanto riguarda l'hotel: accoglienza molto graziosa, assente l'ascensore (quindi valige trascinate fino al 2° piano anche se con l'aiuto della signora del check in), posizione comoda per raggiungere i ristoranti (è fornita solo una prima colazione un pò troppo standard), abbastanza per arrivare al porto ed ad una spiaggetta vicina, meno per arrivare al garage (peraltro da pagare a parte, ma necessario in quanto non si può parcheggiare sotto l'albergo ed a Talamone ci sono pochi parcheggi, comunque distanti ed a pagamento quasi tutti), buona la pulizia, la stanza, anche se piccina, era confortevole, silenziosa e ben attrezzata, dalla terrazza/solarium si gode un bel panorama, ma la vasca idromassaggio è veramente piccola (io non sono riuscita ad utilizzarla perchè c'erano sempre un paio di persone dentro ed io mi sarei sentita di troppo), complessivamente da consigliare a tutti, tranne a portatori di handicap e famiglie con bimbi piccoli, anche se il rapporto qualità prezzo non è ottimale, penso potrei ritornarci. insomma ho passato una bellissima vacanza, che ripeterei e consiglierei

Siamo stati ospiti dell'Hotel Telamonio per pochi giorni lo scorso Agosto.
Pulizia, accoglienza, posizione dell'hotel sono ottime.
il comfort e i servizi dell'hotel sono condizionati a mio parere dalle condizioni della struttura che è decisamente datata anche se non manca nulla di essenziale.
La possibilità offerta di parcheggiare nel garage privato con un minimo costo extra è un servizio di non poco conto nel contesto del luogo.

Vi ho soggiornato per una notte.. la posizione è ottima, a due passi dal mare e in pieno centro!
Le camere nel complesso sono carine ma devo obiettare il fatto che non ci sono balconi e nessun modo per mettere ad asciugare gli asciugamani e considerando che siamo in un posto di mare.. è stato un disagio!
La colazione è buona! Buono il caffè e buone le torte!
Non credo comunque che sia un albergo degno delle 4 stelle!

Perfect no-frills hotel with the best location

My husband and me spent a few days in talamone. This hotel had the perfect location and suited our needs very well. It's not very luxury and the breakfast was so-so but just what we needed for a few days. The receptionists were very helpful and supported us in booking restaurants etc.

Hotel bien situé au coeur de talamone

Parfait hotel pour apprécier le charme de ce village.
Hors saison : très silencieux, bien que situé sur la place de l'église (elle ne songe qu'à partir de 8h).
Village idéalement situé entre Orbetello et Alberese (point de départ des balades dans le parc de la Maremma).
Personnel très gentil et accueillant.
Une jolie petite place entre le petit port et le haut de la fortification avec d'adorables petits restaurants.

Gradevole soggiorno in un paese delizioso

Il soggiorno all'Hotel il Telamonio è stato molto piacevole. Certamente la struttura non merita 4 stelle poichè avrebbe molte cose da ristrutturare (ad esempio le stesse prese elettriche sono inesistenti nella camera e diventa difficile poter ricaricare telefoni o macchine fotografiche) ma le camere sono spaziose e il bagno è dotato di finestra. La colazione è la nota migliore della struttura: ricca, varia e molto abbondante, in particolare le pizzette rosse e bianche e gli affettati sono freschissimi, anche la sala colazione è molto accogliente e ben sistemata. Vicino all'hotel si trova la fortezza di Talamone e sotto la bellissima baia delle Donne con scogliera sul mare e acqua limpida: un panorama molto bello!

Arrogant ägarinna. Hotellet var stängt när vi kom dit fick vänta i flera timmar för att slutligen bli insläppta av annan gäst. Vi blev inte kompenserade för detta misstag. Hotellet var mysigt och pittoreskt, jättefin stad.

Slechte ontvangst, stinkende kamer.

Verbleven in een kamer in de kelder, mag niet gerookt worden in het Hotel volgens de receptioniste, maar onze kamer stonk naar de rook en er stond ook een asbak in de kamer. Dame van het hotel wist van niets en reageerde echt heel ongastvrij.

Excellent expresso at breakfast!

Vi valde att bo i Talamone i tre nätter för att det ligger vid havet och för att göra dagsutflykter i området kring Maremma. Hotellet och personalen var utmärkta. Det var enkelt och trevligt och vi fick fantastiskt gott kaffe till hotellfrukosten av den hjälpsamme portiern/baristan.

L'hotel è in posizione centrale, molto comodo, ma comunque in una zona tranquilla riparata da rumori molesti.
La camera e il bagno sono spaziosi e mto puliti. Molto carino, curato e accogliente ha anche un solarium accessibile sul terrazzo con una bella vista. Il personale è gentilissimo.
La colazione è abbondante e buona

Il nostro soggiorno è stato decisamente soddisfacente. I servizi offerti dall'hotel sono semplici, ma molto confortevoli. Il personale è accogliente, disponibile e presente. La colazione a buffet offre una buona varietà di prodotti freschi. Consigliamo vivamente questo hotel per chi cerca un buon alloggio e ha il desiderio di spostarsi lungo la costa, visitare le zone più interne della Maremma o spingersi fino all'Argentario. Si tratta di luoghi raggiungibili in ca. 20 minuti di auto.
