The rooms were clean and comfortable and the desk staff was great. Most of the other staff members did not speak English, so that was a big challenge.
The restaurant was nice but food was just ok.

This hotel was incredible! Arrange for a room with the sea view. The staff is friendly and Piero will make you a nice cappuccino, sit on the front porch looking out over the sea and listen to the waves. The room was large with a beautiful tiled bathroom. Raise the window shades and sit out on the deck. Just a short walk away is a quiet beach cove called La Bionda where you can swim and lay out in the sun, bring water shoes as the beach is stone not sand. Drive a short distance up to the Porto San Stefano city and shop a while. Make sure to watch the sailboats come in later in the evening, they moor right there in the cove. There’s a large shipyard to see as well. Mario, Liumilla and Axel will serve you a wonderful dinner, just reserve it earlier in the day. Breakfast is expansive and delicious.

Perfect location.
The location was perfect with a lovely private terrace overlooking the water. The furniture was quit low to the floor but the bed was surprisingly comfortable. We look forward to another stay here. The private beach was amazing.

Lovely location as a holiday base
Good, clean averagely comfortable hotel but very limited amenities. Restaurant only open Friday and Saturday night so more an up market B&B, certainly early in the season. May be more facilities in high season. 45 minute walk into Porto Santo Stefano. On the plus side, the bay is beautiful and there is a great restaurant at the other end of the beach. Good parking, which is certainly not the case in the port.

Overall a first rate hotel in terms of rooms, restaurants and services. Wi-fi was a bit problematic at times. Location is hampered by Porto Santo Stefano being to far to walk (2.5 km?), difficult to park, and relatively infrequent public bus service to town.

In the middle of nowhere - disappointing stay
Hotel is in underdeveloped area next to the main road - no pedestrian or bicycle road, no restaurants or markets nearby. Tiny gravel parking - no access with suitcases to the hotel. Old building but tidy, in the room - cold tile floor, no carpeting. Weak water flow in the shower. Luckily, me and my husband stayed only one night in the middle of July. Few kilometres walk to the St. Stefan centre in the dark tunnel for the bus (with no bus). Restaurants and bars - only in the centre. Average seafood and service in restaurant - meal for two with bottle of wine approx. 90 Eur; good night pizza place - attended after restaurant meal. In the hotel very poor breakfast - only canned yogurts, one selection of ham, cheese, croissant, concentrate juice and few fruits. Coffee machine was broken - and the only other option was terrible instant coffee. No possibility to get around on the bicycle - only on suicide mission on the main road with speeding cars, and anyway - not much to see around. The only plus - nice beach, not too many people, only elderly locals and kids, and beach chairs and towels - included with the hotel with no extra charge. On the beach you could get warm beer and ice cream; food service from hotel available only until lunch time. Nothing between lunch and dinner. Tried to find some coffee on the way out of the island - cruising for about an hour with little success, only in kiosk next to the flea market, which seemed the only place worth visiting

Very nice hotel
We only stayed one night, but could easily have enjoyed staying longer. Easy drive to the port area where there are very good restaurants and shopping. Make sure you drive into the big parking area at the back of the hotel - from along the driveway on the west side of the building (including for check-in), and not in the very small front area. There was a good breakfast in the morning.

Very nice hotel with extremely helpful staff. The room we had the first night was small and had a view of the parking lot. We moved to a sea view room for the second night and it was very spacious with a small balcony to sit out on. We ate twice at the hotel restaurant and it was very good. The only drawback is the hotel is located on a very busy road that has no sidewalks. Pulling your car out into traffic from their parking lot is treacherous. We wished that we could have done more walking and that more restaurants and shops were within walking distance.

We were lucky to book into Baia d'Argento before the big push of summer tourism. We came for 4 days toward the middle of May, and initially so few people were staying there that the main breakfast room was not open. As our days progressed, the restaurant opened for the season and filled right up! Staff was unfailingly helpful and courteous to direct us to scenic roads and lovely restaurants. Paying for ocean view is definitely worth it, as the room has a balcony and an amazing perspective on the harbor with its racing sailboats and sunsets. Breakfast is a very generous spread, and no matter how much coffee we needed, we were never charged extra. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, clean, everything looks new, the beach is in front of the street, but it did not bother me. There's an underpass to get to it. The view was amazing, just be careful pulling out of the parking lot.

We are a couple traveling with our 3-y-o. Room was spacious with a single bed + queen size, fridge, wardrobe and decent size shower. We had a ocean view bedroom. Would have been able to hear the sound of the water if it wasn't for the road between the hotel and the beach. Being the main road on the island, there were always traffic passing in front. Beach chair and towel are reserved for hotel guest. Small beach.

Monte Argentario at it's best
Hotel is in a great location just outside of town. It has access to a small beach just a few steps away through the tunnel under the road. Rooms very comfortable, staff very accomodating. Internet router would not connect with my laptop for some reason, so don't count on internet access. The island is so beautiful, why waste your time with internet anyway.

Gute Ausgangslage für den Monte Argentario
Das Hotel liegt gut, wenn man Ausflüge unternehmen will. Der Strand war - da wir erst Anfang Oktober dort waren - bereits von den Liegen geräumt und es gab auch sonst keinerlei Service. Auch das Restaurant war bereits geschlossen. Wir haben keine Möglichkeit gesehen irgendwohin zu Fuß zu gehen, da die Straße sehr stark befahren ist und auch eng und kurvig ist. Aber für unsere Zwecke war es o.k. Wir hatten das Glück, dass wir ein Zimmer mit Meerblick hatten, denn da gab es auch einen Balkon. Die Zimmer zum Berg haben KEINEN Balkon. Positiv war auf jeden Fall, dass es auf dem Hotelareal genügend private Parkplätze gibt. Die Zimmer sind modern, zweckmäßig und sauber.

Bella struttura, vista mare incantevole (chiedete le stanze sul mare), comodo accesso protetto alla spiaggia privata, stanze pulitissime. Colazione buona. Sotto l'hotel però \"corre\" la strada provinciale con un rettilineo che invita a fare i piloti: quindi in stanza sempre doppi vetri chiusi o impazzirete (un paio di autovelox please, signor sindaco). Rumore fastidioso anche sulla (fin troppo) risicata spiaggetta. Esperienza infelice con la ristorazione: è arrivato un trancio di dentice praticamente non cotto e da cui al taglio sprizzava sangue vivo. Se lo avessi mangiato avrei rischiato una tossinfezione alimentare. Fatto presente al personale che si è scusato e ha portato la stessa pietanza cotta a puntino. Ma l'errore resta imperdonabile, e di questo la direzione non si è scusata nè tangibilmente (in sede di conto), nè a parole (che erano gratis). Altra perla della vergognosamente sciatta direzione: scrittole un whatsapp per lamentare in diretta la rumorosità notturna e mattutina dei nostri vicini.... non abbiamo ricevuto neanche una risposta. Ultima perla: saldato il conto di 5 gg di soggiorno, prima di partire abbiamo chiesto un caffè: due e venti, grazie. No comment

Il punto di forza è sicuramente la spiggia privata, non so quanti hotel in italia abbiano una piccola baia sabbiosa e i lettini a 3 metri dalla riva. L' hotel in se è molto classico, buona colazione in terrazza, peccato che la strada sotto sia cosi' trafficata, ma è l unica della penisola. Abbiamo pranzato solo una volta al ristorante, non ci è sembrato gran che, personale molto disponibile

Wir waren 10 Nächte im Baia d‘ Argento. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick und waren rundum zufrieden. Das Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Zimmer War immer sehr sauber. Wir können das Baia nur weiter empfehlen.

Ho trascorso qui un piacevole soggiorno in un ambiente familiare. L’hotel è stato una base perfetta alla scoperta dell’arcipelago con un comodissimo parcheggio. Fare la colazione e la cena nella terrazza di fronte alla splendida cornice naturale della baia è stata un’impagabile delizia per gli occhi, che ha messo in secondo piano la sottostante, rumorosa e trafficata strada. Oltre alla spiaggia collegata con un sottopassaggio all’hotel, una suggestiva passeggiata dentro le gallerie dell’antica via ferroviaria porta ad altre piccole spiagge e A Porto Santo Stefano. Nel mio caso dopo una giornata di escursioni, la priorità era quella rilassarsi e deliziare il palato: la cena con una scelta (di pesce e carne) fra quattro primi e 4 secondi non mi ha mai deluso.

In visita all'Argentario e all'isola del Giglio siamo stati due notti in questa elegante e curata struttura. Rimane ad un paio di chilometri da Porto Santo Stefano, raggiungibile anche con un bus che si ferma davanti all'hotel (biglietti disponibili alla reception).
Bella la hall arredata con mobili d'epoca e particolari ricercati.
Personale veloce, cortese e disponibile al ricevimento così come tutto lo staff.
Dalla terrazza pochi gradini e un breve sottopassaggio portano alla spiaggia. Usciti dal sottopasso sulla destra si trova la concessione; certo non è una grande spiaggia ma carina e mare pulito (ombrelloni lettini e teli inclusi).
Varia e abbondante l'ottima colazione che comprende dolci, affettati, marmellate, frutta, yogurt, formaggi ecc...bello poterla gustare sulla terrazza vista mare! Non abbiamo provato il ristorante.
Sul retro comodo park incluso e accanto, nel verde, passeggio di Fido🐕😃il nostro cane è stato ben'accolto! La camera con finestra sulla collina, arredata con gusto, aveva un comodo armadio dalle ante scorrevoli, schermo piatto e sky! Silenziosa e con un confortevole letto era dotata di un ampio e gradevole bagno finestrato con prodotti in omaggio.
La pulizia regna sovrana!

OTTIMO PER UN SOGGIORNO BREVE
L' albergo si affaccia da una parte sulla strada principale con traffico sostenuto tutto il giorno , la spiaggia idem sotto la strada , meno male che non abbiamo preso stanza vista mare che era sulla strada , nel complesso rumore automobilistico tutto il giorno la Wi-Fi non funzionava bene.
Ottima la posizione vicino a santo Stefano e c'è un comodissimo e brevissimo sottopasso che porta direttamente dall' albergo alla spiaggia privata dell'albergo che è molto stretta.
Il mare è pulito e ci sono anche i teli bagno a disposizione giornalmente. La colazione è buona ed abbondante il caffè è buono.
Inoltre esiste una strada pedonale e ciclabile che percorre la vecchia ferrovia che porta in paese in 15 minuti.
Ottima la posizione vicino a santo Stefano e c'è un comodissimo e brevissimo sottopasso che porta direttamente dall' albergo alla spiaggia privata dell'albergo che è molto stretta.
Il mare è pulito e ci sono anche i teli bagno a disposizione giornalmente. La colazione è buona ed abbondante il caffè è buono.
Inoltre esiste una strada pedonale e ciclabile che percorre la vecchia ferrovia che porta in paese in 15 minuti.

Abbiamo soggiornato per 15 giorni e 14 notti, e non abbiamo nulla di negativo da segnalare. Personale gentilissimo, disponibilissimo e professionale. Camere pulite quotidianamente in maniera seria, colazione genuina ed abbondante, posizione comoda, spiaggia ad un tiro di schioppo, con tutti i servizi necessari e sufficienti.
Parliamo della cucina: I Cuochi sono di livello altissimo...Abbiamo cenato qui tante volte, e non siamo stati capaci di trovare un piatto che costituisse il fatidico punto debole...Tutto veramente ben cucinato e ben presentato, inutile citare un piatto perché abbiamo perso il conto e sono tutti deliziosi.

In ottima posizione, vicino alla SP che collega tutti i punti di interesse dell'Argentario. La disponibilità, la gentilezza del personale rendono piacevole il soggiorno. La pulizia nella stanza molto buona. La colazione a buffet, dolce e salata abbastanza variegata. Sconsigliamo il ristorante in quanto il cibo non è all'altezza dell'hotel e il menu è misero. Purtroppo le barriere architettoniche rendono impossibile l'accesso alle persone disabili
