Honestly, it’s nothing like the pictures! I took several photos because it was unbelievable. I didn’t even want to bring my own luggage in because as soon as I moved the pillow, there was a bug crawling on the sheets. The floors were filthy. The tub was gross. The showerhead barely dripped. The toilet had piss on it. There was hair and filth on the floor. There is no pool that is usable. They haven’t even cleaned the old disgusting water out or fixed the broken fence to get inside of it.
The only thing they had was an ice machine which people were dumping garbage into the bottom of. There was one trash receptacle by my room that was overflowing. There was only one woman at the counter who was nice. The so-called continental breakfast is two different types of cereal which is grabbing go only and only available for about two hours closing at 8 AM not as described.
I only stayed there for a few hours. My sister had passed away and I needed to leave anyway, but I was unable to get a refund so far because I had booked a three day stay. They also told me I would have to go through Travelocity, which I did not use. I had no email other than a confirmation number to check in. I checked out at 9:30 AM, but my paperwork says 11 AM which is checkout time. I had to ask for a copy of that.
There were a lot of people look like partying type,definitely not for families! Honestly, I did not even feel safe.

We stayed here during the Vidalia Onion Festival. When traveled from 5 hours away. When we arrived our room was but they told us they were working on the ac so i was okay eith the wait. It did not take them very long to alert us our room was ready. We had a room that fit 5 people. The room was clean but could use some tlc. The bed was clean and comfortable. The AC was brand new so we were very comfortable. The entire experience was pleasant. Will stay here again.

Room:
Newly renovated, pillows stained and flat but covers were clean and bed was comfortable. Room has WiFi, tv, microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Walls are thin making cars starting up and reversing loud. Ac worked great but there wasn’t any comforter. Just sheets and thin blanket.

Bathroom:
Bathroom door had no handle so you could see straight through hole. Toilet paper holder broken and hanging off the wall. Towel holders were rusty and there were hairs in the tub. Water pressure was great but shower head clogged, making water go everywhere but straight down. Drain was slow to empty causing you to stand in your dirty water. But towels were clean.

Staff:
Staff wasn’t mean but not friendly as well. We checked in late so front door to lobby was locked. Stood outside for a bit ringing the bell, called when worker answered, told her we were outside waiting to get in, she was clearly annoyed.

Amenities:
Pool was dried and empty. Looks like they were about to work on it. Continental breakfast included, waffle maker, juice, milk, cereal, yogurt, fruit cups, hot coffee and convenient takeaway type pastries, bagels, pop tarts, nutri-grain bars and muffins.

Overalll, stay worked for what we needed. Convenient location, cheap room and continental breakfast included. We won’t personally stay here again but if you just need a place to sleep, this could work.

The first line on your booking is about the pool. No pool. Had to wait until 6pm to check in. Then the room was fast cleaned- linens and fresh towels but that is were it stopped. Bathroom has dirt caked on moulding, paint clipping and falling off the roof. The wall next to the bed had something going down it. I wouldn't make anything in that coffee machine until it was dipped into cleaning solution. The stairwell leading up to my room was so dark day or night I needed a flashlight bc you couldn't see the steps PLUS is reeked of human piss. We stayed the weekend of the Onion Festival and it was hard to get a spot to park bc people wanting to go to the carnival parked in the hotels parking lot.

The whole facility smelled strongly of marijuana. There was only 2 towels in the room (a room with 2 queen beds mind you). When I called the front desk to inquire about more they said they didn't have any extras. Early the next morning when I was trying to leave I had to call a cell number of an employee and wait for 15 minutes for her to show up to check us out and give me a receipt.

Blow dryer blew up and caught my hair on fire and nearly caught the room on fire. I contacted support they said sorry to hear that. That's it nothing more!!!! I've spent over ten thousand dollars with this company within the past year and this is how am treated I feel like I've been robbed and taken Advantage of. I will be going to corporate and osha.

I booked a night due to my daughter being in the hospital across the street. I got to the room and the smoke detector was chirping. I had no clean towels or wash clothes in the room. I was woken up around 6am with roof repair going on and people talking going by my room talking so loud. The person with the room next to me kept going in and out slamming door and hearing their car with a loud exhaust cranking. Nothing much in the breakfast area but cereal. I dont plan on ever staying there again. I'll pay the extra and stay in the hotel further down from the hospital and have a much better experience if i ever need to stay in a hotel in the area again. It wasnt even worth the amount i paid to stay one night.

This was a big mistake, and I will not be visiting again. The owner did not return our calls or answer our messages for hours until my fourth attempt to call the property and ask the staff to have him please reply to us. We were trying to ask for a refund if we were to cancel and he just did not want to let us know that he would not approve the refund.
We ended up going there for an hour or so which was another mistake due to the terrible storm. The room smelled like someone had smoked weed in it. I had specifically looked for non smoking, but the pot odor was very strong. The water coming out of the tub was brown. Overall terrible experience. The low price is deceiving. Never again!
PS: I do not see a place to upload images, but we did take a photo of the brown water in the tub

Worst Hotel Experience of My Life

What a terrible hotel. We were pressed for time and had very few options, so I assumed that I would not get a great room, but I was stunned that someone would be in the business of operating a hotel and would actually be OK with offering it to guests in the condition it was in. There was not a single redeeming feature of this place - it was dirty, decrepit and crumbling. One whole side had been roped off with caution tape. Road side gas stations (not Buckees) have cleaner restrooms. The chair in the room was covered with stains. It was disgusting. Honestly, if this is your only option in Vidalia, I encourage you to either stay miles away or sleep in your car. I am sure your car is cleaner than this place.

Not what expected only had 2 towels and rags for our 6 person suite had no extra covers for the couch was not very clean. Trashcan had broken egg shells and nastiness with no bag in can in kitchen. Washcloths were stained. Never stay here again no microwave or toaster and air conditioner sounded like airplane taking off very loud. Very small beds

We went during hurricane Helene. Under the stressful conditions and limited resources, I must say they definitely put forth the effort to make it as pleasurable as possible. Of course, they didn't have the usual amenities, and they were short staffed. Nonetheless, the rooms were clean and there were still fast breakfast options and kind staff.

The owner of this property is a thief. This room was booked during Hurricane Helene when this entire area had no power, no water, no cell service and we could not even travel the roads during the booking. I never checked into the room, never booked the room but the owner refuses to refund the money from the fraudulent charges nor will they produce the ID used to check in because they know it’s not mine. Hotels.com would do absolutely nothing to help. My home and property were destroyed, we’ve been without power and water for almost 2 weeks and both the hotel and hotels.com are good with stealing money from someone in that situation.

There was a large group of us who rented several rooms here for a family reunion. We rented this hotel for a pool. The pool was Dark Green and unable to be swam in. The room was filthy. Half the room did not have power. There were exactly 2 towels and 1 rag. Most of our family in different rooms had no toiletries available. Some rooms were not even cleaned at all. There was nothing nice about the stay at this hotel.

I liked where it was located and easy to get in and out of. The room had a crowave a good refrigerator, a real good air conditioner, the staff went way and betondand a coffee maker. What I did not like was the floor in the room because it dod not have carpet and the floor was slippery as my canes kept siding and I almost fell. The mattress was hard as were the pillows and difficult to sleep on, and the commode was too low for a tall person. The bathtub needs a matt to keep someone from slipping and falling and hand rails to hold onto.

Dirty room in a run down motel.

Upon our arrival I was told it would probably be 4:00 before the room was ready. I asked the cancellation fee be waived so I could stay elsewhere. A room was miraculously found. The motel looked run down. The floor was so filthy I had to wash the bottoms of my feet before putting my shoes on. Not even a phone in the room. Did not have a passable breakfast. I will never choose Econo Lodge again.

The hospitality staff are wonderful. Very thoughtful on my needs to leave EARLY in the mornings. I visited earlier in the month & decided it was well worth staying on the way back home.
Rooms clean & beds comfy. Nice breakfast nook & make-your-own waffles is my favorite. Chatting w other folks during breakfast made a nice start to the day

We had a suite, the air conditioning needs replacement we could on use, one the one in the living area, because they sound like an airplane taking off when they're on. The Double beds, not queen beds were comfortable, the room was clean location great with restaurants and shoping all around Will stay again but will check air conditioning before unpacking next time.

Cons n Pros of the Hotel

Cons are as follows…The first nights stay went like this…The vanity light above the mirror did not work. The TV and remote was not in working order. There were not enough towels to accommodate. The hot water was only warm.
The $74 I paid for the room was too much to pay to have no amenities like there should have been. The swimming pool was not accessible. There was no place to work out at the hotel or any where close either. Roaches were found in the sink so I immediately packed up and left to the lobby to speak to the clerk.
The pros…the clerk both times was super nice helping me get my room n key.
The housekeeper was very nice when I explained to her the things that were wrong. Just never got them fixed.
The lobby was a lot nicer than my room was.
When I complained to the clerk about my first nights stay and she well accommodated me with a new room. They do still need to fix the hot water bcz in both rooms it was terrible. The refrigerator in this room needed to be defrosted.

booked on expedia at reasonable price when i arrived, had to pay an additional 100 dollar deposit. this was not mentioned during online booking. staff was nice, room was clean. Facility is really outdated, but functional. weather was cold and there was a 1 inch gap under door leading outside which made it hard for heat to keep up. i stuck a towel under the door to solve that problem
