I did not get to stay in the room I paid for. Front desk said the room was unavailable due to a broken bed. So instead of the suite I paid for with a full kitchen, I stayed in a room with two queen beds. I was offered no refund or rate change for the lack of room availability. Just “oh well”. When I got up to the room, there were holes in the walls, the phone didn’t work, the desk chair was ripped and tore up. I saw no staff, no one at the front desk all four days I was there.

Beds were clean. Room was dated. Carpet was worn, but clean. Shower curtain was stained. Frig is powered by a light switch that took us a while to figure out. Plug in by window only worked on the top plug. Outside garbage, by front entry was overflowing. Trash scattered around front grounds, along with cigarette butts. Leaves & debris along walk and drive. We walked around side to see the lake and there was trash, cigarette butts, beer cans, etc around side and back of hotel. At the back was a patio that had not been maintained. Lights were missing, furniture was broken, patio was covered in debris & trash. It was quite evident this area was not maintained regularly. We went back through the pool area to main lobby..the hottub was non functioning, with police tape around it. The pool did not have any movement, so unsure if their was any type of filtration being used. The room itself was tidy, but very hot & humid...their appeared to be no fan working. The 3-11 lady was AWESOME!!! VERY FRIENDLY!! The 7-3 lady seemed confused or dis-interested when I informed her there was a dead pigeon laying at side of hotel in the mulch. It suited our need for the night (a clean bed), but would not recommend if you want more than that.

This is an old hotel in desperate need of upgrades. Overall not a clean place. Carpeting in hallways dirty and worn, spots of mold around tub/shower. Only one ice machine for 3 floors, others not working. On a good note staff very friendly and helpful.
Do yourself a favor, spend a couple extra $$ and stay at a new Hilton across the street.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The hotel had such a cozy, comfortable feel the moment we walked in — it really felt like a little home away from home. Everything was clean and the atmosphere was so relaxing. The indoor pool was definitely a highlight, especially after a long day. It was perfect for unwinding and just enjoying the moment. The staff was also very kind and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy, relaxing stay! Another thing we really loved about staying here was how convenient the location was. Everything you could need was close by. There were grocery stores nearby, The Red Stag Tavern was right beside the hotel which made it super easy to grab a good meal, and there was even a laundromat across the road. Shopping was also just a short drive away. It made the whole trip so much easier and more enjoyable not having to travel far for anything.

4 of 6 lights in the room did not work, including the light over the sink. I complained. 3 of the 4 lights were repaired except the one over the sink (the one needed the most).

This property was absolutely amazing. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described — if not better. The space was well-maintained, thoughtfully set up, and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stay. The location was ideal, and the host made everything easy from start to finish with great communication. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would 100% stay here again. Highly recommend! The breakfast was fresh and the parking was easy!

Our bathroom light was out- we reported it and they said they’d fix it. Didn’t. There for a wedding- no light for makeup. Tv in bedroom didn’t work- two tvs in same room one in front of the other- neither worked. Got the late checkout and was charged 3 times $25 total $75. Room wasn’t ready at 3 but at 3:20. This hotel gets an 8.6? Sorry, that is too generous. The room smelled like people had been smoking in it and freshener was sprayed to cover it up. The faucet in the bathtub was marred by years of water stains. The shower head was awful. The refrigerator was loud. I unplugged it. Lame TV with low resolution, but that's mostly minor to me. The bed was fine. I actually slept well, maybe partly due to the A/C unit was good and could make the room a meat locker and I like it pretty cold at night. Not the hotel's fault, but some geezer, after getting his eggs, just tossed the serving spoon into the eggs. No thanks. Went elsewhere for breakfast. Told the desk clerk. I wonder if she knew to tell the kitchen staff. Did it get fixed? I wouldn't stay there again. Disappointed in Wyndham.

I loved how convenient it was to dining options and close to shopping and restaurants. I loved the Lake view and how cozy the hotel itself was. Your ratings matched our experience several years ago when we stayed here. But, we found there was a lot of needed maintenance. Rooms were dark. Many lamps and recepticles didn't work. The whirlpool tub in the room was not working due to the remodeling going on on the property, according to the sign in the room. There was no evidence of any remodeling going on on the property.

We chose this for the pool, hot tub, accessibility, and breakfast. The hot tub was broken, the pool is unusable, handicapped rooms were not avaliable even though we paid for it, but they had a pretty average breakfast. Employees had little good to say about local restaurants. Traveling across the country we hoped to book a little nicer hotel; it ended up worse than any we've visited in the past few weeks.

Booked this place as a half way point for us to the beach in Florida. Chose this place for location and to use the pool as a way for the kids to play a while after long day in the car. Upon arrival was informed the pool was under renovation and unusable. Hotels.com mentioned nothing of this on the site and presented the place as having a working pool. No discount or anything was offered, just an I'm sorry. Kids were super disappointed as was we.

When checking the room upon arrival, I found a half drunk bottle of Fireball Whiskey in the refrigerator. I also found the overhead light in the bathroom didn't have a light bulb or the globe to cover the light. The mat to step on from the shower was nasty and there were screws in the floor all around the mat. I am not sure the floor was even vacuumed.

The check in was ok. The lobby area was a little different. There are multiple levels on the property with short staircases. As if it's been added onto a few times. Not a problem for most people but it could be an issue for someone using a walker or wheelchair. The \"breakfast\" was not much. Mostly just cereal and bread. Needs improvement.
