Great location and wonderful view only

The hotel has a magnificent location on the best beach on Sokhna coast, the hotel design and landscape are also very good, however it has some major problems on the hygiene factors and the overall cleanness. The furniture and the bed mattresses are not up to the hotel grade and rates. I‘ve been offered an upgrade to a suite with the best view on the mountain, pool and the sea which was so generous of them however the interior fit out was so poor due to lack of maintenance, the sanitary and toilets have so many broken parts. The beach and pools close at 6:45 pm while the sunset is @ 8 pm for no reasonable reasons. Breakfast is ok while the dinner was very poor with no varieties, the stuff was friendly and very helpful.
Overall I enjoyed the stay because of the wonderful view, téléphérique and the surroundings but I won’t definitely go again.

Staff is amazing and friendly. The property needs serious pest control, once we checked in we found the Apparment full up with mosquitos.

If the beach is a major reason for you to be there, do not consider this hotel. It is not usable due to rocks.

Food is average.

Swimming pool was great and clean.

The management is classical style with slow process. Also, it should be no hidden price and no discrimination for citizens. Also, It should be two prices appear on website for citizens and non citizens which is the first time happened in my life. I paid more extra charge when I arrived and must know that earlier.

My stay was so unpleasant at a totally new level of Unpleasant. Starting from the security guy at the gate who wanted full charge of car parking of the entire stay in advance by counting the number of nights on his fingers. Then the check in process that was almost in slow motion all in all 2 hours although I made sure to arrive half an hour after the check in time. Then came the avalanche of lies of all sizes. They gave me 2 pool view rooms instead of Seaview as per my reservation on the account that I reserved standard rooms and all standard rooms are side Seaview! Then we had to walk through the drill that I have to pay extra to upgrade my reservation to a Seaview, which I had to accept to salvage the holiday for my wife and daughter. Then came the cherry on top the moment I went to check the Seaview.... I found a huge yellow bulldozer on the beach next to the sunbeds!!! Their excuse is

I will write my own experience and vision here knowing that people are different in taste and priorities!
But, If you are looking for a majestic recently built hotel, on a virgin land surrounded with glorious mountains, crowned with nice food, and very friendly staff this is your place!
Water park, mall and shops will open soon!

This is a place that is owned completely by the government of Egypt and is being run, one way or another, by the Egyptian Army even though they keep on denying this fact. Once you reach the gate, you will be immediately faced with military style management and treatment. The check in process was a nightmare and lasted 150 minutes! (yes 2 hours and half to check in)
1. they force you to prepay the parking or you will not be allowed in with your car.
2. they attempted to bill me again for the entire prepaid stay.
3. they give you the cheaper rooms to upgrade favored guests or those with contacts. I booked a sea view room, got a garden / water tank view, complained to front desk no response, complained to expedia which threatened sending me to some other hotel ->solved
4. staff especially Mr. Ishac at the reception is extremely rude, disrespectful and probably has no hotel experience.
5. the food is not 5 star hotel quality food but rather hostel / officers club quality.
6. they make you sign a sheet of paper that they are not responsible for your stuff if lost or stolen.
7. house keeping is very poor, don't respond timely, and mediocre at best.
8. they lie about covid precautions, they don't keep rooms empty for 48 hours between occupants,

The hotel is great, what it lacks is that the employees are only at the level of its luxury, I booked without a fee to park the car but they forced me to pay fees, and despite the proximity of its location, I arrived after hardship because it was not updated on Google Map, I informed the guest relations responsible for fees The parking and the difficulty of arriving at the hotel for those who do not know it, promised me to solve the issue of the fees and promised me to compensate me for the hardship incurred to reach, even a slice of fruit did not reach me.
Housekeeping service needs to be reviewed. Despite the sign of not disturbing, but it seems that it does not mean anything, he broke into the room three times to wake me up every time. Honestly, the hotel has a privileged location and is equipped at the highest level. All it lacks is training and improving the performance of workers. Exceptions may be only two people at the reception. Concierge service. The restaurant manager treated me as a student.

Hotel not complying with COVID-19 measures

The hotel was not following recommended COVID-19 measures. Staff were wearing masks but not gloves (even though notices around the hotel stated that all staff would be wearing gloves) and catering staff were not wearing masks until customers arrived at the restaurant (we could see them setting up from our room and they were not wearing masks or social distancing). There were also no measures in place to ensure hotel guests were maintaining distance during the meal service (very over-crowded and some guests serving themselves at the buffet, even though they were not supposed to).

Also, our room was not very well-cleaned when we arrived (carpet had not been vacuumed and clearly the bathroom was not cleaned properly). I complained to the service desk but nothing was done to fix it.

Positive- All the hotel is perfect . Rooms , Services, pool, i would like to thank somaya from CS, also A kresbo and shrouk from animation team they do the best, and mina from main restaurant

negative- the prices for water bottles and pepsi cola or any charge issu outside the half board formula it's very expressive for example the i buy 2 guava juice and 1 pipsi i pay 185 L.E
I hope to recheck the prices .

I would like all hotel stuff because really they do there best to make happiness for us and all guest

Une mauvaise expérience

Dès le check in on a commencé à avoir des soucis. (2 heures pour avoir une chambre) La chambre ne correspondait pas à notre réservation. La nourriture nest pas du tout bonne mais en plus chère. Il n y a pas d’alcool à cet hôtel (ce n’était pas mentionné nulle part). La grosse déception c’est la plage : il s’agit de sable pour les travaux qui est mis sur des galets sur une minuscule zone. Les gens étaient entassés (malgré une 3eme vague du Covid ) à la piscine je n’osais même pas mettre un pied tellement c’était plein à craquer.
Cet hôtel ne mérite pas un 5* et ne correspond pas aux normes internationales surtout pour des touristes. Le parking est payant. Le kids area est payant également.
