I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there next time. The room and facilities are immaculate and the staff is very friendly and always ready to help. The area is great with many bars and restaurants and beach within walking distance. The pool and bar downstairs are also fun hangout spots if you want to stay in. Taxi stand right outside the hotel. We had a wonderful time there!

Super clean hôtel and not far from the main strip if that’s what you want. Lady on reception was lovely and really helpful. Everything super clean and good choice at breakfast. Downside, not much; one of the male bar staff was rude and not friendly at all. Second downside, you can’t take anything out of restaurant, not taking food is fine but not being allowed to take a coffee out on the terrace area is a bit tight.

Really love this hotel. Let me check in 4 hours early, very clean room, awesome location, cheap drinks and food, fabulous staff. Not only that if your flight is late and you check out at 12 you get to use a locker for free, all of the facilities and a shower and changing area to get you ready for the journey to the airport. Will definitely be staying here again!

I had a good 3 night stay at the hotel. On my first night I had an issue with the air conditioning unit. Unfortunately the hotel was fully booked that night so I had to endure the noise coming from it for the first night. However, in the morning I was upgraded rooms and I was happy with this solution.
The pool and lounge area is very good and it was never an issue getting a sun bed.
The hotel is in a fantastic location, very close to the sunset strip and a short walk away from Cafe Mambo.
The buffet breakfast was good but I don’t think the evening buffet was anything special.
I got a taxi to and from the airport using the taxis straight outside the airport and hotel and these cost €35/€40.
The only issue I found is that the walls are extremely thin. I could hear next doors conversations and showers. There are gaps between the door and floor of the bedroom doors, meaning you can hear everything on the corridors.
Overall, I did enjoy my stay and the staff were friendly.

Food and drink prices in hotel are very reasonable and quality of breakfast and pool side snacks was excellent. No fight for sun beds, decent sized pool. Comfy beds, plenty storage and nice refurbed bathroom with great shower. Highly recommend!

From arriving at the hotel to leaving the service we received from every member of staff was amazing.Our room was clean and fresh with everything we needed was supplied.Breakfast was a buffet that catered for every taste and beautifully presented and the quality persuaded us to try the evening meals that we found to be fantastic value and far better quality than the other eateries that we tried in san antonio.The pool and bar facilities were excellent and plenty of sun beds and shades available.Being a regular visitor to Ibiza as our daughter works locally we have finally found a hotel that is good value for money and is totally customer focused.we look forward to returning soon and highly recommend the hotel and excellent team running it 😀

Excelent hotel hospital like style. If you need anything just ask for Jose the bartender he is the owner of the hotel. And don't wet the floors because they will become wet. Also bring towels from home it's 15 euros per towel and 2 euros per wash.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Gran Sol Ibiza. It was about a 10 mins walk to the main bus station and a 20 mins walk to the main strip. It was near restaurants and the beach. I watched the sunset on my last night. I recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to be close but not-too-close to the action in Ibiza. There was a kettle in my room with a fridge and safe. It was a wonderful experience!

We booked this hotel because of their good reviews, free parking, and breakfast. The free parking was okay, even though we found out there was street parking available, though not much. The breakfast was okay but nothing special. The room was outdated and not great. The sheets were not clean, and the bed was uncomfortable. We switched to another 4-star hotel for the same price, which was absolutely stunning compared to this one. Would I recommend it to a friend? No!

This hotel was excellent. Has everything you need, and in a very convenient location. Room + balcony large, with large modern bathroom with hairdryer, shower gel, etc. The included breakfast had such a wide selection and set you up for the day, with no need for another meal until evening. Not much noise at night. Beds ok, not too thin. The pool/bar area was a lovely amenity. Do yourself a favour and book this place. You will not be disappointed!

Everything was amazing ! Staff was so lovely and helpful, rooms were extremely clean and comfortable, there is a balcony with table and chairs and a place where you can dry your clothes. It is cleaned everyday with towels changed :) The food was tasty, loads of options for breakfast and dinner (better than some 5 star hotel that i stayed in the past). there is a shower room if you need to shower after checkout. The surrounding area is very niceand has sunbeds with paradols. There is a bar, and the area is very quiet despite is close to the main bars. walkable distance to everything. Better than expected.. I've been coming to Ibiza every year since 2015, I've stayed in about 4/5 hotels and i have a particular one i stay all the time. Due to unavailability, decided to give Gran sol a try and i'm pleased with my experience and hospitality at the hotel. Staff were friendly and loved the garden pool side. It was a little distance from my usual location (10/15mins walk away), but as i'm familiar with sant antoni it was ok for me.

The hotel was great. The rooms and communal areas and pool were all spotlessly clean. The staff were all very approachable and helpful. The customer service was excellent. The cleaners cleaned our room and changed towels each day. There was a good buffet breakfast served each morning till 10:30 with various hot and cold food and drink options, that were constantly replenished. You can hire beach towels at the reception for a cost of €15 and when you return them at the end of your stay you will get €13 returned to you. Reception also stock 5 litre bottle's of water for €3, which is really handy. There is a small supermarket across the road from the hotel. The bar does most things you may want and serve reasonably priced food and drinks. The location is great and has a quiet and comfortable vibe, yet Cafe Mambo is an 8 minutes walk away from the hotel. Ibiza Rocks is a 7 minute walk. Pikes is a 15 minute cab ride away, and the airport is a half-hour cab ride away. Cabs are generally plentiful outside the hotel. If they aren't reception will call you a cab. Depending on bookings you may be able to have a late check out for an additional cost but this wasnt available on our departure day. However there is 2 well kept shower rooms, towels, lockers and luggage room compete with luggage svalea

Hotel Gran Sol had been on the radar for a while, so took the opportunity to bbok for our stay.
Good location, with Sunset Strip, Cafés Del Mar and Mambo a couple o minutes walk away towards the town centre. Going the other way, round the corner you have more lovely restaurants/bars at Calo El Moro. The small aquarium is also within relatively comfortable walking distance.

It's situated a five minute walk from some lovely bars and restaurants along the sunset strip, and is also very close to the heart of San Antonio town. Yet when we visited in August 2021, the area was quiet enough to sleep well at night. The bus station is a 10-15 minute walk to get around the island, and there are plenty of grocery shops nearby to pick up food and drink. We paid (€8 per person) for breakfast on three of our six mornings, and there was a huge range of fresh, tasty food on offer - it filled us up for most of the day! On other days we were happy to grab a pastry from a shop nearby.
The staff were all friendly, welcoming and helpful. It feels like a family-run place where nothing is too much trouble. Amenities-wise, the pool was great and there were more than enough sun beds for everyone. We didn't use the bar but it was well stocked and the prices were reasonable compared to other local bars. There is a pool table and table tennis you can play for free. If we were pushed to have any grumbles with this hotel, we would say the air con was quite weak and the WiFi signal and speed wasn't very good in our room. Neither of which bothered us too much but were noticeable. As others have said, the bed was also a little hard, but we still slept well.
We would definitely stay here again if we returned to Ibiza!

I want to give this place the full stars but if I'm totally honest I was really unhappy with the A/C in this place. I complained and they answered my request right away and moved rooms for me but I quickly found out it wasn't that the A/C wasn't working in my room it's just that the A/C was poor throughout the building. Other than the miserable temperatures which made it difficult to sleep the staff was awesome, the place was clean, convenient, updated and all other amenitites/experiences were pleasurable

We arrived and were greeted by friendlt staff. We arrived around 11:30am and our room was ready. Checking in was speedy. The room was spotless and maids cleaned them every day.

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel which was only 400 metres away from the Promenade. Spacious, clean, nice room with a balcony which gave partial views of the sea. Freindly staff, good facilities, very good breakfast choice and hygiene of whole hotel was first rate. Highly recommended.

Fantasic hotel, great staff and facilities. Minutes from the sea and centre. I had a fantastic full sea view ( 623) with a large balcony with a room with all the facilities I could ask for and more. Fridge, sockets and lights by the bed, fan, air con, large TV with BBC1,2, ITV, CH4 , and Channel 5. Safe and even a bottle opener!! Thank you!! Everything in the room and hotel was sparkling clean. The pool and garden area were lovely with plenty of loungers. They even had lockers to stow your luggage at check out. All the staff were great, happy and helpful.. Only minor negative, the furnishings are a bit dated in the room and the communal areas.

I stayed with my husband here back in 2011 and I loved the hotel then. Back in 2019 with my friend and it didn’t disappoint. Cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in. Rooms spacious and good size balcony. Staff are so kind and friendly, breakfast buffet is awesome and location is great as it’s far enough away from the craziness but walking distance for all you need. Love Ibiza and we’ll be back next year with a group of friends, definitely staying here again!

We had booked for breakfast only but the food was so fantastic that we decided to pay evening meal every night at 13 euros each, an amazing bargain for a huge selection. We met 2 ladies who have been to this hotel 8 years in a row and we're not surprised by this. This hotel is rated 3 stars but should be 4 stars easily. The location is ideal, the staff very friendly and the beach towel service at 15 euros per towel is ideal and on return you get 13 euros back. It means you don't have to carry beach towels in your luggage.I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return in the future.

This hotel is in a great location a couple of minutes walk from a lovely little beach and 5 minutes walk to Cafe Mambo, or about 20 minutes walk to Ibiza Rocks side of the bay. The hotel is clean and modern. Our towels were changed and beds made every day. The bed was very comfy and the air con worked well. The breakfast buffet was lovely and so much choice: the usual cooked breakfast options along with fresh fruit, cereal, a selection of bread, cheese and cold meat. Also sweet things like pancakes, doughnuts and pastries. Plenty of sun beds available, and also more sun beds on a lawn next to the pool. I would definitely stay here again!
