We had a nice stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean upon and check-in and up to the second to last day of our travel. However we had aunts in our room on the second to last day and the cleaning staff did not do anything about it. Another important thing to mention is that the hotel does not turn on the air conditioning until the building reaches 27 degrees Celsius. This is in accordance with the Mallorca energy conservation law. I am all for this law, however, the hotel is not well adapted in my opinion. Being on the seventh floor meant that our room got hot easily, but there was no screen on the balcony door which meant that bugs would come in when the door was open. Since this was our only way to get air we had to make a sacrifice (perhaps why the aunts came in, but again our only way to get air!). Another thing, the walls are SO thin! We heard our neighbours cough and move around in their room. Our room had a conjoining door and so noise carried very easily. The staff were very friendly and the food was good for what was paid. However, the temperature control and the thinness of walls is something to keep in mind before booking. Perhaps make a request to not have a conjoining room and avoid going before the hotel reaches 27 degrees. We were lucky that evening cooled down, but the room was hot during the day with the sun. Overall the hotel was a good value, but there were definitely some flaws.

My daughter is vegan but is happy to eat as a vegetarian, it would of been helpful if the food could have a vegetarian sign just to show there was no meat in there, but this is meant as a comment to improve the hotel not a criticism.

We booked this hotel independently but it seems that all other guests were on package holidays and most wore the 'all-inclusive' bands. There was no discernment between independent travellers and the all-inclusive package holidaymakers - same self-service buffet. We were there 4 nights. On 2 of the nights, the evening buffet was excellent with a wide range to choose from, the other 2 nights it was very poor. Breakfast was awful. Very Germanic in taste. Terrifying lady on the fried egg and omelette stall, under pressure as she was on her own but boy was she grumpy.
We had requested a sea view room and ended up with a side sea view - on the front of the hotel. Not good. Opposite the hotel is a live music bar and it is very very loud. Quietened down around 12.15am, but some of us go on holiday for early nights and rest.
The room itself was kept spotlessly clean and the beds and linen were good.
The bathroom desperately needs refurbishing - totally out of kilter with the modern decor of the bedroom. The towels were no more than grey rags. Appalling.
Very pleasant pool area but if you want pool towels it costs a €30 deposit - never experienced that anywhere before. You also pay for the use of an in-room safe and leave a deposit for the key.
The entertainment was dire and the female animacion even of an evening wore jeans and a t-shirt.
Sa Coma has a lovely beach but that is all it has going for it. The rest of the resort is down at heel bars and tourist shops.

Close to beach,shops and restaurants. However room was a little on the small side. Beds were not was I was expecting from a 4* hotel. The air conditioning for the first 24 hours was not working meaning the first night I hardly slept as so hot I opened the balcony door but this made the room very noisy from the bars across the road. The air conditioning was 'fixed' but even then it wasn't that good at all.

Poor customer service .. Air con not working . When I called to complain at 0730 when I woke due to being hot and uncomfortable I was told no one could come . When I informed them again I slept poorly due to no air con the desk Were less than helpful .. An apology would have being a start ..
Also advisable to tell people that staff needs to be rented before sending someone up to the sixth floor ..

My experience was good, relaxing and and had enough nightlife, just right for families. We were there on a room only basis as we didn't want to be stuck to the hotel restaurant eating times. There are enough places to eat at however the area could do with a few traditional/tapas restaurants.

The Marfil is very nice clean, friendly hotel, good bar and chill out area.

We stayed here for 3 nights in July 2014. The hotel is absolutely fine for a family stay- clean and with the services you'd expect for a 3 star property. The room was quiet (as long as you kept the balcony door closed) and had a nice view over the National Park. The area was pleasant but we would have preferred to be in a more authentically Spanish locale.

The only downside was that with the shops and restaurants come some bars with loud music in the evening. Our room was facing the street side which gave us partial view of the ocean from our balcony but also the noise from the bars. If you want complete quiet ask for a room facing inlands. And if you don't fancy surrounded by Germans seek for a different place altogether ;-)

• Not a 4-star hotel;
• Rooms require urgent remodeling;
• No refrigerators in the rooms;
• Food is okay, but all-inclusive is not worth extra 30 Euros per room per day unless you plan to stay in the hotel ALL the time as it only adds lunch and bar. Half-board works just fine for half the cost;
• The beach is about 5 minute walk from the hotel;
• The beach itself is quite crowded all the time. There are no lifeguards or showers with fresh water. In fact, we chose a few times instead to travel to Alcudia where there were hardly any people on the beach, lifeguards on duty and fresh water showers.

Nothing is to much trouble for the staff.

Only down side is there is no wifi you have to pay for it
and you can only use it in the reception.

Beach towels are 15 euors each but refunded when you return your towels.

Plenty of sunbeds.

Very limited parking but you can park on side of the road.

Beds are 2 single beds pushed together.

The beach is about 3 minute walk away.

Buses stop outside hotel.

Staff are brilliant.

Differnt entertainment each evening and the circus acts were brillaint

If you want a nice relaxing holiday this is the hotel for you.

Karaokebar direkt vor dem Zimmer, schlecht isolierte Zimmer, kein erholsamer Schlaf möglich. Keine Kaffeemaschine/Wasserkocher. Sehr kalte Zimmertememperatur, wir haben gefroren. Baten um zusätzliche Decken. Die erhielten wir, waren aber unbezogen und fleckig. Zimmer wurde gemacht, aber die Betten nicht neu bezogen.

Ein sehr gutes Mittelklassehotel. Die Zimmer und Bäder sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 7. Stock mit Meerblick. Der Ausblick war toll. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert aus Energiespargründen erst ab 27 Grad, daher haben wir mit offener Balkontür geschlafen. Leider war es nachts ziemlich laut durch Lärm auf der naheliegenden Straße. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber zweckmäßig. Insgesamt ist alles eher hellhörig. Der Pool ist toll. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Von Hotel aus geht man ca 5 Min zum wunderschönen Strand von Sa Coma. Das Essen war vielseitig, es gab immer verschiedene Fleisch- und Fischangebote sowie vielfältige Salate und eine große Auswahl an Nachtischen. Was mir gefehlt hat, waren landestypische Speisen wie Kartoffeltortilla oder Paella. Insgesamt stimmt hier aber das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Points positifs : Personnel professionnel (surtout la dame de l'accueil elle fait très bien son travail) et souriant, l'hotêl est confortable et bien pour un long séjour. le buffet était assez bien et varié, les cocktails également. Le personnel s'est montré disponible et chaleureux. Je m'y suis sentie bien. Hotêl bien situé, tout près de la plage et des restaus

Pistes d'amélioration : si vous voulez dormir au calme avant 2h du mat, demandez une chambre de l'autre côté de la rue principale car il y a un karaoke en face et les gens chantent fort ou parlent dans la rue.
Les femmes de ménages : l'une qui jette mes habits sauvagement sur le canapé au lieu de juste me demander, les autres qui discutent de bon matin devant la porte c'était assez bruyant et celle qui a ouvert ma porte alors que j'étais toute nue. Je n'avais pas l'étiquette de porte ne pas déranger donc je comprends.

Il manquait aussi quelques détails dans la salle de bain : crème, chaussons...

Globalement l'hotêl est sympa, cosy, je reviendrai si c'était à refaire, j'ai adoré la piscine chauffée, il y a un spa et possibilité de se faire masser. Ambiance familiale

My recent stay at Welike Marfil Playa Sa Coma was extremely disappointing, primarily due to the misleading information provided on their website as well as pictures on hotels.com. We booked this hotel specifically because it advertised a toddler indoor room, only to discover upon arrival that it was closed. This was a significant issue for us as we were traveling with an infant.

Additionally, the breakfast and dinner times were advertised to be one hour earlier than they actually were. This may not seem like a big deal to some, but for families with young children, having meal times delayed can be quite challenging.

Finding a quiet time during the day was impossible as entertainment activities were ongoing until 23:00 every night. This constant noise made it very difficult for our infant to nap or go to sleep at a reasonable hour.

The quality of the food was also underwhelming. We expected much better given the hotel's rating and price point.

The only positives from our stay were the service of the staff and the efforts of the cleaning personnel, who were both friendly and diligent. Unfortunately, these positives were not enough to make up for the numerous shortcomings, and we ultimately chose to leave early.

Overall, I cannot recommend Welike Marfil Playa Sa Coma to families traveling with young children. The misleading information and inadequate facilities made our stay more stressful than enjoyable.

Das Hotel ist schön und in gutem Zustand. Schade ist, dass die Grünfläche nicht genutzt wird (oder zumindest während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht benutzt werden konnte). Insbesondere ist schade, dass auf der Grünfläche vor dem im Untergeschoss (aber auf einer Seite mit Tageslicht) gelegenen Essensraum, keine Möglichkeit besteht draussen zu essen.

The gym is small but not very populated and enough for a stay of a week or so

Tout est bien sauf la salle de bain, vieille.
Devoir payer les taxes à peine arrivés à l’hôtel n’est pas très agréable, ni accueillant.
Trop de gens en Bermudes au dîner.

nettes personal, gute lage, reichhaltiges buffett, abwechslungsreiche unterhaltung am abend. einziger minuspunkt waren die aufzüge, von denen meistens einer und zeitweise beide kaputt waren, was bei 7 stockwerken nicht gerade angenehm ist.

Prima hotel, schoon, aardig personeel.
Zwembad is beperkt open 10-18u.
De losse bedden op de kamers zijn op zich prima, maar blijven niet goed op hun plek staan.

De omgeving van Sa Coma beach is erg touristisch. Veel goedkope barretjes, winkeltjes, eettentjes en veel neon en plastic. Porto Christo ligt vlakbij en is bijvoorbeeld veel gezelliger.
