Great Location, But Only Worth It with a Suite

I stayed at Red Hotel Ibiza and initially booked one of the basic rooms — honestly, it wasn’t great. Very bare, dated, and not a pleasant space to relax in. Thankfully, I was offered the option to upgrade, and it turned out to be the best decision of the trip. The suite with a balcony and sea view made a huge difference. That said, I’m used to hotels offering upgrades as a complimentary gesture, so having to pay extra felt a bit off.

The staff weren’t the most attentive — there was little effort to build any rapport, and I found the front desk quite unhelpful when I had general questions or requests. It lacked that warm, welcoming vibe you’d hope for on a holiday.

The location, however, is great. It’s close to the bus station and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and shops, which made getting around and exploring super convenient.

Overall, I would consider staying again — but only in the suite with the balcony and sea view.

The walls, floors and doors are “thin” . One can hear people talking , walking and moving chairs from adjacent rooms and hallways. It’s the least sound insulated room I’ve ever stayed in. Reject any room ending in 01 bc it is next to the stairwell. You will hear all the steps. Half the
Hangers were broken too. The linens are scant - a flat sheet and thin bed cover. I hope the bed cover is changed for each guest. It was good the bed was made and new towels supplied daily. All the Staff is friendly and helpful . The free pool is a less than a minute walk with a well staffed restaurant. Do bring your own towel.

Perfect hotel in San Antonio

Brilliant hotel in the centre of San Antonio by the egg. Hotel staff were really helpful and friendly, the cleaners had a great rotation where if you were still asleep in the morning they would come back in the afternoon.
The rooms are fairly simple but we’re a good size and really clean. Only downside was the fridge wasn’t very cold at all even after we tried to change the settings but other than that it was a great hotel and perfect for what we needed.

There is not much to like about this property apart from it's location. There is no pool & we paid a premium for a kingsize bed which turned out to be two single beds with kingsize bedding, which drifted apart on the second night - NOT at asatisfactory !

Exactly what you need when staying in San An

This hotel is exactly what you need when staying in san antonio. Good location with good restaurants around and reasonably comfortable and clean. When staying at the hotel in 2018 we only booked a standard room as there was none of the better rooms available. This time we were able to book a nicer room and it was 100% worth the extra money. The beds are comfier, the balcony is bigger and the rooms are more spacious. The bathroom isn't any bigger and the quality of the shower isn't great. The staff on reception are very nice and helpful. Check in was a slow process. The food as the red cafe was really nice.

This is a reasonable hotel in every way.
The rooms are pleasant and you get what you pay for.
It is very central in San Antonio, right on the main strip in fact and the bus station is directly behind the hotel.
I was unfortunate to have been given a room with a dreadful odour which even though the staff tried to rectify was to no avail.
I also had an issue with the fact that bathroom toiletries were only given twice in a full week and this was an annoying aspect as then you are buying and leaving these items behind you.
There is shocking noise around this hotel 24 hours a day and sleep is difficult.

Nice hotel. 1st impressions were it looked a little like a hostel. It was spotless. I had a great room (512) corner room with wrap around balcony with FANTASTIC views of the bay. Room was spotless and spacious.

The bed was comfy. Toilet very small and tiles starting to peel off the wall, shower curtain looked a little grubby. The main room could do with a bin.

I don't see the point of there being a TV in the room. It is so small you would have to sit with your nose touching it to see the screen.

My only negative point that I went to reception to ask 1 question when I got answered by a rather not nice receptionist. Young guy. They should remember that although they here the same questions day in and out that for the traveller the reception is our 1st impression of the establishment.

All in all not bad for only £59 per night. If you want bells and whistles or to 'take someone back' forget it.

Best damn spot in Ibiza

The front desk was great & very welcoming. The location was great & you can see the disco bus out of our window. The AC works great & the water pressure in the shower was great. Highly recommend anyone trying to party on the island. The wips store downstairs works 24 hours a day, you can get pretty much anything over there. Go & stay here, you won’t regret it.

Good hotel. The food in the Red Cafe is lovely. The reception staff seemed to be very slow with everything but were very helpful. The maids were brilliant. We had fresh towels every day and our room sweeped etc. The bathroom wasn't great, it was very small and the shower wasn't powerful at all... The beds were VERY uncomfortable. It is in a good location. There was a mirror on the wall with no plugs nearby and a dressing table with no mirror. This was very annoying!

Only downside there was no fridge so I was basically drinking warm water the nxt morning after a night out, which wasn’t very pleasant. Other than that I would definitely recommend.

Hotel was great, room was spacious clean and quiet. The balcony onto the bay was wonderful and private from your neighbours. The café downstairs did great breakfasts and the staff were always helpful and polite. Perfect location for the beach, bars and the bus station for disco buses. Also a 24hr mini market opposite for supplies if needed.

It turned out to be just a room... and for just a room I would have booked something else. This says there is a pool... the first picture is a pool... the WEBSITE has the pool all over it... THERE IS NO POOL!!!!!

There is access to a neighboring pool, which I never even saw.
everything after that was just blah... just a bed... there is a bath, but I had to put a glass over the drain to fill it up.

Perfect hotel for an ibiza stay

Stayed in this hotel from the 07/09 - 10/09.

The location couldn't be better, opposite a 24/7 shop, 1min walk from beach, restaurants , the strip bus station and taxi rank.

I have worked in ibiza for the previous 2 years and been on many holidays and stayed in plenty of hotels around San Antonio, red hotel was by far the best, simply for the location and the staff how easy going and friendly they are.

My room was clean and not as indated as other hotels I have stayed in. The shower was warm and powerful, bed was super comfy and air con worked perfectly!

The only thing is there was no hair dryer supplied sotaken your own, not that this is a big deal!

I would recommend anyone who wants a cheap and chearful stay without any annoying reps trying to sell you packages like what they have in 18 - 40 hotels to stay here!

Thank you for my stay I will definitely be staying again!

Great location for the water and beach area during the day. Staff is super friendly and the restaurant was a great spot for breakfast and happy hour. There is noise, but aI can sleep through it. Other may not. Unfortunately the beds were hard as a rock, the cleaning service only came once in 4 days, and I was mugged outside for my Shinola Watch. :( Stay in after midnight. Enjoy the beach and water activities during the day.

Not a great experience at this hotel. The hotel itself is pretty outdated, the bathroom smelt like a smelly locker room. We had a swarm of ants that managed to make it on top of our beds and inside our suitcases. The staff said it was the time of year they get a lot of ants and gave us spray, later I spoke to management about the ants and they took a look at the room but did nothing. Lots of young people partying at this hotel, so it does get noisy till the morning hours.

I suggest spending a little more money and staying in playa d' en bossa, quality of hotels are much better, great beach parties, amazing food, and generally closer to everything.

Nice hotel local to the night life

Friendly staff, if your looking for location it perfect it's a 2 minute walk from the strip and about a 10 minute walk from ocean beach. One thing we were not told is that the pool is not in the hotel, it is in another hotel around the corner and you have to pay for a drink to be able to sit next to the pool not very good. Over all it was a good hotel clean every day good friendly staff and good location.

Perfect location, great view and clean!

We didn't expect much of this hotel as we booked it last minute and got a cheap deal but were pleasantly surprised when we arrived.

It was in perfect spot right off San Antonio main road, next to the restaurants, beach, taxi rank, corner shop. Our balcony (which was also a really good size for a twin room) overlooked the beach, great view. The room was a good size for a twin and was clean with clean towels every day.

The hotel had a bar/restaurant downstairs which was always busy. The staff/receptionists were pleasant and helpful enough.. all in all a great find.

Also.. most hotels in San Antonio can be a nightmare to get people in! We were staying in another hotel in San An 3 weeks previously and they were an absolute nightmare when we wanted to bring friends up to our room for a drink etc.. really rude and angry about it and wouldn't let anyone in where as at red they were very laid back.. As long as you weren't causing any trouble there was no dramas.

Would defo recommend this hotel whether you are a couple or a group of friends.. it'll suit both! Would def go back there.

We arrived at 9:30 am and were told that our room was not available since check in was at 4:30 but that they would accommodate us.We were asked for a phone number but did not have a inter. calling so we could not go too far;we were told a room would be available around 1130.People who arrived after us were given rooms before us and when I asked,the woman behind the desk was very rude and said that we had to receive exactly the room we reserved.I asked if I could upgrade and pay the difference and was told not possible.It was already 2:30 and we were still waiting,even seeing walkins receive rooms.At 3:45 I politely asked again and was told they had no idea when the room would be ready and the woman at the front desk was ignoring me,walking away as I was asking a question.Yes, the location is great but if you ever need you're on your own.We were finally told after 4:30 a room would be available,I asked to speak to someone else and 10 min later we received our keys at 4 p.m.The room was dirty, the paper sanitation seal on the toilet was already ripped and the toilet had obviously not been cleaned.We were beyond exhausted and did not both to complain.Do not expect the wifi to work, you have to go to the lobby and use the computers were you insert coins.I know there is a lot of nightlife in this area but be prepared to hear every single thing that happens outside.The walls are paper thin, you can hear every single word of conversations.The only positive was the hot water and ac.

The location of this hotel is amazing, especially as it is also successfully quiet given it's proximity to the centre of San Antonio and the West End etc. The balconies at the front and side of the hotel facing the harbour, especially on top floors, are excellently placed to enjoy the scenery.

It is the best quality budget accommodation we've stayed in in our 4 times to San Antonio.

The staff were on the whole really very friendly and helpful, one was a bit grumpy after what seemed like a long shift (but we've all been there).

Bedsheets were rarely, if ever, changed (instead the beds were just being re-made) and there was an ant problem in our room which caused us health problems (lots of painful bites) before we had realised there were ants. Once we alerted the hotel they gave us some bug spray.

At the moment, if you have an iPhone you are not guaranteed successful connection to the free wifi - if this is important to you - but if you have an Android phone there are no problems apparently.

The staff were lovely - really pleasant and welcoming at all times. The location was absolutely fantastic - bars & restaurants literally 2 minutes and Es Paradis and Eden just across the road. If We were to return to Ibiza this would be our hotel of choice. If location is your priority over luxury then this is the hotel to pick.

Good hotel for the price - basic, but perfect location to restaurants, bus to clubs and airport and ferries to beaches. There is also a beach just across the road. 24 hour supermarket across the road from hotel. Definitely request a room with a bay view- this definitely made our stay at the hotel. A little bit noisy, but as everyone has said you- it is Ibiza.

Don’t expect anything special

Hotel location is excellent, right on the beach of San Antonio. i guess that's why i booked it in the first place. i stayed there for two nights as a solo traveller. The hotel receptionists were very busy when i checked in or asked for any information, they were strait to the point - here's your key, room number and off you go. They did not make me feel welcome at all. i asked for the wifi password, which was highlighted on their page that is available in the room, however in two days i couldn’t not log on once not even in the reception area. when i questioned it they brushed me off and said be patient.

My room was nice enough with a big balcony overlooking the water it was clean and tidy but nothing special – a bit ordinary compared with what I paid for. Overall I wouldn’t stay their again. San Antonio is awesome though!! Loved it!!

Summer Stay at the Red Hotel by Ibiza Feeling

A friend and I stayed at the hotel and found it to be exactly what we needed. A simple, clean room with A/C (key during the summer) that had a balcony overlooking the marina. The wifi didn't work in the room but it worked fine in the lobby/restaurant area. The staff was very helpful with questions about the hotel and getting taxis and such, and I would recommend stopping by the tourist office too for detailed questions, maps and bus schedules. You do hear some street/hotel noise as the hotel is right in San Antonio, but we slept fine with the noise from the A/C to block it out. Overall, a great hotel within walking distance of all the bars and restaurants in San Antonio and very close to the bus station.

One day at The Red Hotel

I can only write about the one night, two day stay we had. The room was fairly nice and clean. The bathroom was a bit dark and the shower was completely walled off so there was no light coming in. Other than that it was a spacious room with a balcony and not terribly noisy (or as quiet a West End hotel can be) ie just random loud door slams and people passing through occasionally.

Das Hotel hat eine super Lage. Es sind nur ein paar Minuten Fußweg bis zum Busbahnhof und zum Strand. Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, der Kühlschrank kühlt nicht richtig, das Badezimmer riecht muffig und der Wasserstrahl ist zeitweise so schwach, dass ich mir meine Haare nur sehr schwer waschen konnte. Für einen Partyurlaub würde ich das Hotel wieder buchen.

Die Lage war sehr gut. Man kommt schnell auf die Partymile von San Antoni und der Strand ist nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt.
Die Busstation von San Antoni ist sehr nah gelegen (3 min zu Fuß). Von der Busstation aus kommt man super zum Flughafen, in die Stadt und mit dem Discobus (für 5€ pP) zum Hï, ins Ushuia etc.

Das Hotel war ok. Es gab Armeisen. Das Bad war vollkommen ausreichend.

Nos encantó el trato de los empleados, tanto del hotel, como de la cafetería.
El estado de la habitación no tanto. El aire acondicionado solamente tenía dos posiciones; frío ártico o apagado. El cierre de la puerta del balcón se rompía cada día y teníamos que pedir todas las mañanas que lo arreglasen.

O hotel é super bem localizado, próximo da estação de ônibus em Sant Antoni que liga a todos lugares em Ibiza, próximo das ruas de baladas, restautantes e lojas.
Meu único problema com eles que foi muito inconveniente foi que fechei uma diária e depois aumentei alterando pelo Appndo hoteos.com e mesmo assim fui OBRIGADA a fazer checkout e fazer checkin novamente em outro quarto. Bem no meu aniversário. Não me deram explicação plausível, eu fechei a outra noite com eles justamente para não ter a locomoção.

Hôtel très bien situé

L'hôtel est bien situé, proche de commerces, de la gare routière, plage... Le personnel est accueillant. Cependant lorsqu'il y a du bruit dans les chambres avoisinantes, on entend tout.

Court séjour sur un long week-end. L'hôtel est bien situé proche de divers commerces, à moins de 10 mns à pieds de la plage, et proche de la station de bus.

Soggiorno a Sant' Antony...

Personale molto cortese e disponibile. Pulizie giornaliere con cambio di asciugamani. La nostra camera era con una bella vista panoramica sulla baia si Sant Antony, molto suggestiva la sera.
Zona centrale vicino ai luoghi della movida, ma non siamo stati infastiditi da rumori molesti.
Prezzi economici rispetto alla media stagionale di Ibiza. Parcheggio gratuito a due minuti dall'hotel. Distanza da Evissa 20 min. di auto.
Un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Senza infamia e senza lode.

Si tratta di un \"budget\" hotel che si ripropone di fornire un buon servizio ad un prezzo, per Ibiza, contenuto.
In effetti l'obiettivo è parzialmente riuscito, il rapporto qualità prezzo può migliorare.
Viaggiavo da solo e la stanza, seppur piccola e senza balcone al primo piano, andava bene: portate un asciugacapelli perchè nel bagno, cieco, è assente.
Qualche problema con l'aria condizionata, risolto dopo un paio di giorni, e con la scheda della serratura elettronica che tendeva spesso a smagnetizzarsi. L'hotel si è scusato offrendomi per una giornata la colazione, che non avevo chiesto nel soggiorno concordato.
L'hotel vanta una buona posizione, vicinissimo al capolinea dei bus, ideale per chi non ha l'auto, un personale cordiale con alcuni che parlano anche italiano ed un buon bar/caffè annesso utilizzabile per la colazione ed il pranzo in zona. Utile per le giornate con tempo meno bello anche la, piccola, piscina nelle vicinanze condivisa con l'hotel adiacente.
Clientela adulta ,internazionale: qualche inglese chiassoso al rientro dalle discoteche ma è \"nel conto\" di Ibiza. La qualità del sonno è stata comunque buona ed il letto era molto comodo e pulito.
