Much better than anticipated! Was very hesitant due to the reviews but it was actually so quiet! Room was ideal. Could have been slightly cleaner (cobwebs etc) but overall very good.. location is perfect. Right beside the bus. Would stay here again for sure.

Bring ear plugs and eye mask!! Walls are paper thin - you can hear everything, including outside noise, and blinds don’t fully block the light. Room felt like a North American motel (not something you want to spend spare time in), but for the price and location, it was perfect for what we needed! It was steps away from the bus station, beach, and day clubs.

It is a good hotel, where we had available 2 buildings, both with swimming pool, also is available a bar with a lovely terrace.
The staff was very helpful and friendly and the view from our room was amazing.
We will definitely come back soon.
I recommend it.

I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend. Our air conditioning didn’t work when we got in the room, as well as stains in the toilet bowl. We asked if someone can fix the aircon but nothing was done about it. Also when we was trying to sleep we kept getting a breeze of sewer which must of been coming from outside as we needed to keep the balcony door open due to air con not working. I know it’s one of the cheaper hotels and it’s Ibiza, but these are things you expect when you visit a three star surely. I wouldn’t stay here again

I would never stay here again and don't recommend this hotel. The service was horrible, our rooms were not cleaned, no towels, toilet paper etc. Wifi wasn't working at all...you had to got to Marco Polo 1 to connect. People in the next room room we're smoking and the smell was coming through to our bathroom and was unbearable....the reception manager Josefa Roman was not helpful at all instead told us she couldn't do anything for us and was rude....for the amount you pay to stay at this hotel not worth it...you're better off staying somewhere else.

Great value hotel

I've stayed here twice and would go back. Other guests can be noisy in nearby rooms, but that's unavoidable. The only downside is that it's on the wrong side of the road. The town centre is on the opposite side of the main road into the town, so it can take a while to cross.

Nice pool and generally well kept and clean however during stay had some issues with main bedroom light not coming on and the place is quite noisy even late at night/early morning due to the thin walls between rooms and people coming back drunk from clubs etc

Great hotel with 2 pools and 2 bars. Right near the beach and on the edge of everything you need (within 1km walk at MOST). Staff were helpful. Rooms were clean and had everything you needed. WiFi was great. Only issue was the walls were very thin. You could hear every room around you including across the hall. Most went out at midnight to party so wasn’t a huge issue.

3rd time at this hotel!!

This was my 3rd visit to this hotel. It was a great surprise to find that the rooms had been given a revamp. The bathrooms are much nicer than before. The location is is excellent and the staff are very friendly. The price is fantastic too and I would definitely stay again!

Great location! So handy for everything.

Nice hotel. Newly refurbished rooms although the website doesn't state that not al the rooms have balconys. The pool area is much better at Marco Polo 1 but you can use either pool staying at this hotel. My only issue was the floors in the room rarely got brushed up. We did get new towels everyday and beds got made but the floor could get pretty dirty and it wasn't cleaned often enough. All in all it was a good stay and I would probably return to this hotel if I go to San Antonio again.

Only stay here if you don't intend to sleep

I made the mistake of booking this hotel , thinking it was further round in the bay. This is a very very noisy hotel and not a place where sleeping is possible, unless you are intoxicated.

Its a great location if all you want to do is go to Eden or Es Paradis . Otherwise , do not stay here.

Unfortunately our room also smelled badly of smoke, so if you are a non-smoker , be sure to request a non-smoking room when checking in,

This isn't to say its a bad hotel. Hotel staff were friendly and efficient when checking in . Plus the breakfast at the Marco Polo hotel was very good.

I booked for 2 nights and had to check out after the first night, due to the noise. I requested a refund but was not given one, not even for the breakfast or wifi which I thought was a little unfair.

Great location but very loud at nights specially early mornings. The walls are very very thin so you can even hear people throwing up which was grim !

Overall was good, great location near beach , restaurants and tickets sales, bus station which takes you to all best clubs .

nice pool, and quite a lot of space.

Hotel definitely for partying, but another annoying thing was that some people party nonstop and in the early morning by the pool while you trying to get your tan they blasting deep techno music at 10 am !!

Free wifi worked well, safe in the room, ice cold air con, close to the beach and in between Es paradis and Eden so perfect location for everything. Chilled out hotel.

Only complaint would be the amount of noise from 4am-9am with people coming back in and the cleaners had no consideration shouting on at 8am etc

Perfect location, close to beach and bars

Stayed there last year so knew to book up again for june this year! We loved marco polo 2, close to bars, beach, resturants and shops. Pool was relaxed (not too lively like some other ibiza hotels) maid was in almost every day. Free safe and air con!!
Only downfall was the crap beds, but would DEFINITLY book marco polo 2 again :)

After reading the reviews I was dreading the stay. What a lovely pleasant surprise I had though. Rooms were cleaned every day. Free air conditioning, free safe and free wi fi. Rooms were basic but what do you expect for the price you pay. Pool area was nice with a bar. Very close to everything. Would definitely stay here again :)

The hotel was clean, staff were friendly and it is very close to the beach, shops and the main strip for bars.
Perfect if you plan to drink a lot whilst you are there. Don't expect a quiet hotel.
We also had an option to pay extra for a late check out which was very handy

2nd time i've stayed here in a year! Great value for the price - No thrills but its location is spot on as on the door step to clubs, bars and 24 Hour off licences etc. Staff are friendly and free aircon is a bonus! Only negative is night staff dont let you play your tunes on the balcony!! - its a party resort at the end of the day and I didnt see any famailies or kids so bit disapointed when its the clubbing captital but other than that it was decent and i'd stay again :)

Not the best place to stay, but it's normally cheap. Expect a lot of noise as it's a party hotel and the area has a lot of party people on holiday. Used to be a lot better a few years ago, but they've cut back on a lot of amenities in the last couple of years.

Ideal for groups looking for affordable but clean and basic accommodation. The reception and bar staff were polite and helpful. The lift had seen better days, possibly not great for those with mobility issues. The location was very close to all the attractions of San Antonio.

First of all we checked in and got ripped off. The room we had paid over the odds for then turned out to have a 75 euro fee slapped on top of it just for checking in. This little surprise didn't come until actually arriving so we were left with no choice but to pay it. You only get 1 key per room, no security, the staff are rude, the rooms are not cleaned properly. Air conditioning doesn't work then there is people constantly coming in your room because the doors are not self locking. Worst hotel in ibiza! There are much better places to stay than this. Never again!!!

The hotel is ideally for young people and groups, very sociable hotel. Great pool and outside area. The bedrooms are satisfactory as you get what you pay for.can be slightly noisy with music but normally makes the day more fun. WiFi is very expensive as it's one euro for half an hour so that Is the only down side! Great coattails at the bar too!!

we called Marco Polo reception 2 weeks prior to staying, reason being our flight was early hours of the morning arriving 2.05am. 15th August. Contacted reception as we was concerned about our check in time, their response was \"it's ok that'll be fine, you can check in anytime as we are 24 hours\" So we thought great! We will book our flight for then and everything will be smooth.
We arrived in Ibiza at 2.00am arrived at Marco Polo around 3.00am. Proceeded to the main reception next door, and this is when it went all down hill! The receptionist was rude to us and said no you can't check in now, I explained what we was told by staff when we called previously, that we could indeed check in when we arrived as it's 24 hour. If we had known this we wouldn't of booked the hotel and the flight for the times and dates we had done. No this wasn't right apparently, so fantastic we had no where to stay for this night we had arrived! The male receptionist said \"it's your problem go find another room somewhere else! But you won't find anything as it's august\" Well that was a great help considering we had no choice in doing anything, we really didn't have no option as to ask if we could wait in the reception until our room we had paid for was to become available. At this point we was very upset having no sleep arriving at our hotel and being spoken to very rudely, their was no customer care or service no apology nothing. We slept in the reception waiting for our room 10 hours after!

I was dreading staying at this hotel after reading the reviews, but it really wasn't that bad. Yes the bed sheets looked old and worn out, the sound proofing was poor, and you had to pay extra to use wifi or air con.

But for £23 a night, I got a spacious room with 2 single beds to myself, bathroom was clean with towels+soap+shampoo+shower gel provided, and a balcony. For such a cheap price, the standards were quite above what I was expecting. I did not experience any problems with loud people in the hotel, with the exception of my own group!

Terrible Hotel

The Marco Polo II was completely closed so we had to stay at the Marco Polo I, but we were not told this until we arrived. The entire hotel was under construction all hours of the day/night. Painting, remodel, etc. The beds are TERRIBLE! You will leave with back problems. Our balcony did not lock. The shower is worse than terrible. It doesn't even work, you have to hold it up and constantly adjust the temp and pressure and it does nothing but spray everywhere! The entire hotel is hard floors and everything echoes, you hear every single footstep and sound at all hours of the night at day. You are right next to all the clubs so you hear people all hours of the night. Our bed ended up falling apart in the middle of our stay and judging by all of the holes in the walls behind the headboard this was a regular occurance.

Either they have the same keys for multiple rooms or they double booked our room, because in the middle of the night another couple was able to use their key to unlock our door and come into our room. Terrible service, terrible hotel.

The hotel could be nice cause there is a good space in the room and the hotel is easy to find in St Antoni. But the decorating of the hotel and the rooms are really from the past. Many guest are 'clubbers' , so there is a lot of noise at night. Don’t stay here for romantics nights or with family! If you want to party and you like to disturb everybody it's your place; cheap and loudly!!!

ok so i went the first week of opening parties, so things werent too out of control yet, but there was still alot of party people there. the hotel as we would say in l.a. is pretty \"ghetto\"...tiny twin beds, old, ripped up drapes, etc... now if your like me, and are just going to ibiza to party, then screw it..i recommend this place..location is perfect...in the middle of literally everything. and i mean everything... beach, bars, west end, markets, scooter rental, literally next door to es paradis and eden. some staff were cool, some were jerks,but then again i would be a jerk too if i had to deal with all the drunken party people 24/7. pool is nice.. dont expect much..i kinda just luaghed at the things falling apart in the hotel and said give me drink and lets party.

Worst hotel in the world possibly...

I booked this hotel once my flight was cancelled around 6 pm.

When i turned up at that time , the receptionist seemed annoyed and asked for the confirmation. I had only enough charge left on my laptop that i could just book it and i showed him the confirmation on my laptop but he rudely said just come behind reception and log in to his pc and print it out. I did as he said as i couldn't be bothered to complain as i was very tired.

After this, the room had only 2 beds, whereas we booked for 3 beds.
The toilet was smelly and very old. There was only one tower where as we were 2 person staying here.
Room was next to the street and seriously noisy, i mean REALLY noisy.
Next door was a childrens park where at late night teenager jumped around all night making noise.
Cars whizzing by all the times and mopeds , they are famous in ibiza everyone knows.

the floor was broken , i mean the tiles were literaly broken.

Once i told the guy at the reception that the room was really noisy and could we have another room on the other side away from the main street. he looked at something and came back to say he had none left may be next day.

We found lots of room on the other side but we couldn't complain any more being british.

So, we stayed there and just went through the noisy night with nearly no sleep.

Day after we just stayed out and came back n the afternoon to find that the room service has left 1 towel again in the room.

We were so annoyed that couldnt even say anything , just wanted to get through that night for our flights back home next day. All the activity during the day and less the night before left us with no strenght to complain.

I ahve stayed in many hotesl around the world but never had this kind of rubbish service. Most of my hotels are booked through hotels.com and i have never had to complain regarding any hotel. In this trip alone i had booked 3 hotels through hotels.com and i was well satisfied. This experience was new to me and i dindt know what to do but just wait till the whole thing was over and i could come back to home.

Over all dont even think about going to this hotel. I dont like complaining but if i dont tell you , your holiday will be ruined.

Del personal no puedo decir nada , porque se portaron bien conmigo,pero mi voz de reclamo aquella persona jefe de mantenimiento del hotel,que se ocupe un poquito más de las condiciones del hotel como mínimo, funcionamiento del aire acondicionado,TV,en fin,luego de un cambio de habitación,surgió el problema con el aire,pero el trabajador de mantenimiento hizo lo posible y funcionó el aire,tampoco es plan tener al que se hospeda de habitación en habitación,por lo demás el hotel es bonito.

Das Hotel ist etwas heruntergekommen. Was aber verständlich ist wie sich teils Hotelgäste benehmen. Es ist wirklich mitten im Party viertel, also Ruhe hat man fast nie. Das Personal ist aber sehr freundlich und gibt alles das Hotel sauber zu halten. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und lecker. Für Familien oder solche die eher die Ruhe suchen in den Ferien würde ich von diesem Hotel ab raten.
