This modern hotel is in a very old stone building. The rooms are beautiful and big. Parking is convenient, right across the street. Our GPS took us under the arch; don't do that. Stay to the left or go around again in the very narrow streets. Breakfast is wonderful and includes both hot and cold choices. This is a central location, so you can walk to all historic sights.

Unique in Viseu

Right in the centre of old town the hotel is actually built into the fortress/city wall. Room was spacious, clean and beds comfy. Areas of the hotel felt almost like a living museum. Certain areas are in need of a refresh (i.e. hallway carpets) but this would not stop me from staying again in such a unique property.

We liked everything about the property - location, staff, restaurant options, parking, etc. However, the air conditioner was not working properly and even though the staff tried to get it going, it was never resolved. Our room was so hot, no matter what anybody tried to do. We finally shut it off completely and opened a window until a cat appeared in the window in the middle of the night. :/

Perfect location in the heart of this fantastic city. We were given an upgrade to a suite and it was gorgeous, spacious and had beautiful furnishings. The buffet breakfast was excellent with many choices. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

Nice location and building but needs attention

My negative evaluation is mostly based on my key no longer working when we wanted to leave and it taking well over an hour to find a solution (they gave me a discount for this). Another problem his hotel has is attention to detail - the hallway rugs are filthy and no one seems to vacuum the stairs. In addition the third bed in the room had an uncomrtable hard mattress. And the beautiful little garden over the town gate is apparently only available for the large suite. In spite of it (and the small garden next to the breakfast room) being totally overgrown and in terrible shape, it would be nice to have these spaces available to all guests.

Hotel bom. Para quem está com carro, pode ser um problema. O estacionamento é muito ruim. Além disso, aos finais de semana, fecham um monte de ruas ao redor e fica praticamente impossível acessar. Então, aconselho para quem está sem carro. O hotel é razoável, toalhas boas mas cama desconfortável. O café-da-manhã é bem simples, deixa a desejar para um hotel quatro estrelas.

Mesmo sendo ruim de carro, a localização é excelente para explorar o centro histórico de Viseu.

Das Hotel hat sehr geräumige Zimmer und in der Mitte des historischen Zentrums. Am Wochenende ist rund um das Hotel sehr viel los & eher laut. Aber im Zimmer auf der gegenüber Seite, hört man es nur wenig. Der Parking sollte meiner Meinung nach über Nacht geschlossen werden, da dort Jugendliche im Parking herumgehen.

Resulta muy práctico el hecho de que esté situado en el casco histórico y que tenga aparcamiento. Habitaciones muy espaciosas. Cama cómoda. En el baño hacía un poco de fresco. La moqueta y la tapicería de las sillas estaba algo sucia. Muy tranquilo. Desayuno normal
