Hidden costs

It was just a basic hotel. The hall smell like a college dormitory. When I checked out, they made me pay an additional 6 Euros for some Lotto tax. That should have bee in the costs up front, not a hidden cost after the stay.

good hotel , clean. friendly staff.We were highly disappointed at the room given to us.we had booked a special junior suite for 3 being as it was my birthday whilst we were there, instead we were given a double room wth a squashed in 3rd,put up ,bed.I had had the junior suite booked almost a year before so very irate when we were told the room we had to have was inferior and small and cramped for 3.

Great hotel very close to train station

Very nice hotel close to the train station, about. 5 minute walk. Friendly and welcoming staff. The beds were super comfy and they had some nice public areas where you could relax. Nice to have a coffee maker in the room and the bathroom was large and well appointed. There is a really good bakery next-door and a supermarket across the street. Several other restaurants within walking distance. We walked about a half-mile into the center of town and then caught the bus to do some sightseeing.

Well-located (a few minutes' walk from the Old Town), Hotel Atrigon's rooms are comfortable and spacious. A good breakfast is taken at the top of the building in a bright dining area with terraces overlooking the city. The wifi works well. Parking is slightly awkward to reach and access to most of the guest rooms involves using your large and heavy key in the lift, but these are the only (minor) drawbacks. The railway line is close and might cause a noise problem in some rooms in the summer if the windows are open; in our stay in November we had no problem at all.

Neighborhood was tragic. If you drive with a car, leave it 100% in the closed parking. Ask for full guidance from receptionist on how to enter the parking and specifically how to exit the parking (hint: you pull a hanging rope to open the garage door...!).
Haven't tried breakfast so I can judge. Room was spacious but with a very dirty carpet. Bathroom was ok. Bed small but mattress was very comfy with clean sheets. Reception closed every night at 10pm so you need your key in order to enter the hotel again or use the elevator/parking. Doesn't worth the 60 Euros I paid for a night and definitely not a 3 star hotel.

A nightmare!!!

We never even see anything... we arrive ay night and nobody was there. We couldn't sleep there... we were in strange city, country, language ant night with no place to sleep thanks to them.
Next day we went there and they say that can't do anything.... not even one SORRY or something.
I call HOTELS.com and they say NOTHING CAN DO, they don't wanted to give the money I pay for hat hotel or give me credit or something.
That was the last time I booked with HOTELS.COM, I lost money buy they lost a costumer .

Centrally locate close to the train station. We had a junior suite with a lot of room and private terrace. Very nice. We were 3 in the room. The extra bed was very uncomfortable. The room could have been cleaner. All in all a nice stay and I would stay there again.

We only stayed one night but the staff very friendly, the breakfast at 8 euros was very good plenty of choice.
They have a bar with a roof terrace which is nice.
They have free garage parking but go to reception on the fourth floor to get key before parking.

Horrible service, cleanliness and ventilation

To begin with the room was not clean. There was a pair of jeans lying behind the bed. It was a very hot day, and the air-conditioning did not work. When asked, the lady at the counter said that she was powerless and could not do anything. When asked for a pedestal or a table fan, the lady said it wasnt available. Eventually we ourselves spotted by chance, a couple of pedestal fans, and made do with them.

There is not really wifi.

They have \"wifi\". But it didn't work the whole stay. They said they would fix it but they didn't. Their wifi box was unplugged. We would plug it in. They would unplug it. In public areas it didn't really work either. The breakfasts were good. The room was clean but the showers were awkward. There was a ton of pressure and not really a way to keep the water in the shower. It ended up spraying everywhere.

The room was double booked.

Got to the hotel and staff were friendly and we got a key to our room and on arrival found a suitcase and a jacket in the room. We advised reception and they removed the items. Hmm is the bedding fresh if the room was occupied? OK so turned on the Air conditioner and it only blew out air. No Tea and coffee making facilities. Ready for sleep and then at 11pm got a knock on the door with a staff member questioning weather we should be in the room. I advised of the earlier problems and she apologised. The next morning after having a terrible nights sleep due to anger at the incompetence. They did nothing about it. I will never return to this fawlty towers.

Good position fror Train/Bus /town. Staff very nice. If you don't smoke be sure to ask for a none smoking room as the smoking rooms are very smokey pungent,
Buffet breakfast very good, although not hot all the food is good and well presented. Basic hotel but clean and well run. Klagenfurt is a nice little town and this is a nice little hotel.

Stanza grande e confortevole. Il servizio di pulizia non sostituiva lo shampoo ed il caffe in bustine che ho trovato comodo all'arrivo assieme al bollitore. Almeno lo shampoo visto che era in bustine e non con il dosatore potrebbero darlo giornalmente, in quattro notti mai cambiato, ho dovuto amdare in reception e chiederlo. Peccato.

Fint Hotel.
Brugte 2 overnatninger på stedet og det er let at komme til og fra både i bil og tog.
Værelset var dejligt stort til 3 personer og med en stor terrasse der dog godt kunne have haft et bord og 4 stole.

Für kurze Aufenthalte mit Abstrichen OK

Das Hotel wirkt, als hätte es die besten Zeiten hinter sich und eher am Leben erhalten wird. Das Personal ist zwar freundlich und hilfsbereit die Probleme auszubügeln, wenn man aber nach Mitternacht im Zimmer steht und die Vorhänge nicht zuziehen kann weil die Schwerkraft sie aus der Gewölbe runterzieht und beim Duschen das Wasser auf einmal nicht fließt, weil die Armatur schon so alt ist, hilft es nur mäßig. Außer Handtücher und zwei an der Wand nachträglich befestigten Flaschen mit Seife und Body Lotion findet man leider nichts, was in 4 Stern Hotel üblich wäre (auch nichts zum Duschen). Andersrum Frühstück: Raum mit fast Panoramablick, um 9 Uhr war zwar schon einiges vergriffen, aber was da war, war in guter Qualität, knusprige Semmeln, französische Käsesorten, breite Teeauswahl. in die Innenstadt kommt man in 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß, einfach nur gerade aus. Parken in der Tiefgarage oder hinterm Hotel ist praktisch. Also für eine-zwei Nächte, wenn man sonst nichts außer schlafen und frühstücken im Hotel tut, ist es OK.

Über den Dächern von Klagenfurt

Wir waren auf der Durchreise von ITA nach Hause für 1 Nacht zu Gast im Hotel.
Sehr feines Frühstücksbuffet, und das schon ab 6.30 Uhr.
Zimmer geräumig, Mobiliar tlw. schon etwas älter, aber trotzdem okay.
In der warmen Jahreszeit ist die Dachterrasse bestimmt ein feines Plätzchen. Es gibt auch einen wirklich schön gestalteten allgemeinen Aufenthaltsbereich im 3. Stock.
Umgebung vom Hotel ist - durch die Nähe zum Messegelände - nicht sonderlich schön. Aber man ist in ca. 15 min. zu Fuß beim Lindwurm.

Wir waren zu dritt - wir konnten nicht schlafen und unsere brscheede wurde unverschämt kommentiert - voll wiederliebt ist das die mit einem Tuch und widchmopp Klo und Raum putzen - eklig - alles stinkt nach Kamille duftbaum - und so intensiv das es sicher gesundheitsschädlich ist - sind macht dort hat voll gereicht und kv hab nicht mal das Geld für did nicht genutzte zweite Nacht zurück bekommen - aber vielleicht bekomme ich ja von der Platform Hilfe - eine Buchung zu sonder Konditionen ist sicher bei schlechtlridtubg nicht im Standard Verfahren ab zu wickeln gerne Kontakt Aufnahme 00491632845682 dr jörck

Sauberes großes Zimmer. Riesige Terrasse. Leider knarrt der Parkettboden im ganzen Zimmer. Trotz der Nähe zum Bahnhof sehr leise. Das Hotel ist im 3. und 4. Stock des Gebäudes untergebracht. Wir fanden den Preis des Frühstücks von €15,- pro Person etwas überteuert. Aber es war alles vorhanden und recht lecker. Wir können das Hotel ruhigen Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

Vom Preis her, war es wirklich okay und man hat im Zimmer alles, was man braucht. Frühstück war wirklich sehr gut, mit viel Auswahl! Leider war der Wasserkocher sehr verkalkt, also wirklich nicht benutzbar. Und der Mülleimer war voll, als wir das erste mal ins Zimmer kamen. Ansonsten kann ich nur positives sagen!

Ich reise mit der Bahn und da liegt das Hotel optimal und in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Am Bahnhof auch die Busse ins Zentrum. Ruhige Lage und ausgezeichnetes Frühstücksbuffet in angenehmer Räumlichkeit mit Ausblick.

Purtroppo abbiamo prenotato per tre persone, pagando il sovrapprezzo per la terza persona sul prezzo della stanza, ma al nostro arrivo ci siamo trovati con solo due letti. Non c’era nessuno in reception quindi abbiamo dovuto dormire in tre persone su due letti singoli. La mattina dopo abbiamo chiesto spiegazioni in reception ma la ragazza al banco, totalmente incompetente, ha detto che non poteva aiutarci sebbene fosse stato un errore di chi ha preparato le stanze. Nonostante il disagio non ha nemmeno provato ad aiutarci scaricando la colpa su Expedia. Stanza tra l’altro non troppo pulita. Peccato perché sarebbe una struttura comoda e dignitosa.

Ideal auch für Bahnreisende, denn man quert die Überführung und ist schnell am Ziel.
Und zu Fuß oder Bus zum Lindwurm auch kein Problem.

gebucht haben wir ein dreibett Zimmer. Kurz darauf hat man uns angerufen und gefragt, ob wir dieses benötigen oder ob uns ein Doppelzimmer reicht. Dreibett Zimmer kostete 113,20 Euro.
Wenn wir das Doppelzimmer nehmen, hieß es, dass wir 118 Euro zahlen und dafür Frühstück inkl bekommen. Beim Check in erklärte er uns dass die park Garage rechts sei. Was nicht der fall war. Zudem mussten wir 10x erklären, wegen dem Zimmer was ausgemacht war schlussendlich bekamen wir ein Doppelzimmer um 113,20 Euro (gebucht 3)! Und Frühstück hätte pro Person zusätzlich 12 Euro gekostet. Da man uns nicht verstanden hat, haben wir aufgegeben dem an der Rezeption es zu erklären. Zum Glück ist es nur eine Nacht. duschgel im Zimmer leer, hotel sehr heiß.
Preis Leistung passt nicht. Einmal und nie wieder

Hotel olto comodo alla stazione, pulito, confortevole, stanza spaziosa con poltrone e tavolo tondo dove poter tranquillamente mangiard o sorseggiare un te/caffe.
In camera è presente bollitore e varie bustine per l'occorrenza!

Un po’ deludente per essere un 4 stelle, in generale. Struttura non citatissima è un po’ datata, check in manuale che in qualsiasi hotel anche 3 stelle (sono stato praticamente in tutta Europa) fanno loro in automatico, fornendo i documenti. Qualche lieve incomprensione iniziale, forse evitabile con un po’ di buon senso. Lati positivi, camere belle, molto calde in ordine e pulite. Non benissimo il bagno con la doccia nella vasca, nel complesso discreto anche se mi aspettavo un po’ di meglio.

Stock zu gelangen, da der Lift nicht ohne Schlüssel nach oben fährt.

Für 4 Sterne hätte ich etwas mehr erwartet

Das Zimmer war sehr in Ordnung, ich empfand nur das Bett als viel zu weich Die Mitarbeiter waren prinzipiell freundlich, aber ich empfand es als argen Schnitzer, wenn die warmen Speisen komplett leer geräumt sind schon vor 8 Uhr und es offenbar entweder von den Mitarbeitern niemandem aufgefallen ist - oder nicht interessiert hat. Ich vermute zwar eher ersteres, trotzdem sollte das eigentlich nicht passieren, wenn gelegentlich das Buffet kontrolliert wird.

Das Hotel liegt direkt inmitten eines arabisch/afrikanischen Viertels. Die Erwartungshaltung bzgl. eines österreichischen Flairs wird hier definitiv nicht erfüllt. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist zudem stark veraltet, der Teppich weißt Flecken auf und die Wände sind fleckig.

War alles zu meiner zufriedenheit :-)

Es liegt sehr zentral, kann man gut zu Fuß vom Hauptbahnhof erreichen.
Das Hotel selber ist im 3ten und 4ten Stock, schöne Terrasse mit guter Aussicht.

Hotel situato vicino alla stazione dei treni e 10 minuti dal centro. Pulito con camera molto spaziosa. Personale cortese. Colazione non molto fornita soprattutto la parte dolce.

Bei 36 Grad Außentemperatur wäre es schön in einem 4 Stern Hotel eine funktionierende Klimaanlage im Zimmer zu haben. Für 120€ pro Nacht ohne Frühstück darf man das glaube ich erwarten. Es gab zwar eine aber die war entweder zu schwach oder zu alt oder defekt, auf jeden Fall lief sie einige Stunden ohne das es nur ansatzweise kühler wurde. (Zimmer 223).

Im grossen und ganzen waren wir sonst zufrieden mit dem Hotel, jedoch sind wir der Meinung, dass es mal etwas renoviert bzw. modernisiert gehört.
Für den genannten Preis würde ich in Zukunft nicht nochmals hier buchen.
