Hotel is in ok condition. Staff is nice, with the exception of one lady in restaurant, which is so rude and disrespectful on treatment of the guests. Rooms are a little old, not air condition available. In family rooms, they don’t offer queen beds for families, just offer two single beds and a very hard sofa bed. Parking is very convenient and secure. Restaurant is great, food is good.

A wonderful hotel

This is a very nice and updated hotel away from the city center. They have a wonderful buffet breakfast and an on site garage. The pleasant surprise was a complimentary tram ticket for the entire family so that we could get to the city center. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Checking was efficient, even with social distancing in place.
We stayed in a comfort room, which was well equipped, &well kept. The balcony was roomy enough to sit out on , it overlooks the courtyard when there are some of the restaurants tables, and the back gardens of other blocks in the square.
Decent sized mugs for making a cup of tea (not little espresso cups), only downside is they only provided coffee creamer not milk. There is a convenience shop around the corner and the room does have a fridge -so one carton was adequate for our stay.
It situated in a quiet residential area, so not much nearby , but the tram line is only a block away, and they provide a pass for public transport that lasts for the duration of your stay. So not much problem there.
We will definitely return as its not to far from where some our family live, so making a convenient base to stay when we visit.

I stayed for four nights and got, booked a double room, got a single.
Got a room right next to the elevator, which is really noisy.
Also no air conditioning.
Room was right above the street entrance, so noisy at times.
All up I recommend to avoid such a room.
Otherwise very clean and pretty place.
You get a free bus/tram ticket which is very handy.

Perfect hotel out of Leipzig

I had a conference at the Leipzig heart hospital so this hotel was southeast of the city and perfect for my needs.. I had a quiet room, breakfast and the fact the hotel has a restaurant was convenient for a busy business traveller.
The hotel staff were courteous and knowledgable and the fact they give you a transport card that works on trams, buses and trains means it is very easy. Having a small gym helps beat the bulge and refreshes the body. Only small minus is that the gym needs towels and water. Small criticisms for an excellent stay

My family stayed in this hotel over two nights and the service was excellent, both in terms of the reception staff and the waitress service at breakfast was faultless. We were well impressed with the service and also the facilities for our short stay. A most comfortable choice.

The hotel itself is stunning ... comfortable atmosphere, clean, new and nice.

But then it comes to service and it is in itself good! IF I UNDERSTAND GERMAN ... I must say I am shocked and get a very uncomfortable feeling when the staff don`t want to talk since I only speak English. Also Tv in the room is a thing... I wanted to throw it out the window ... 20 channels but non with English ...
So basically happy, but incredibly disappointing, despite how nice it was there.

Hotellet i seg selv er strålende... behagelig atmosfære, bra stemning, rent nytt og fint.

men så kommer man till service og den er i og for seg strålende! OM JEG FORSTÅR TYSK... Jeg må si jeg blir sjokkert og får en meget ubehagelig følelse når betjening ikke VIL prate da jeg kun snakker engelsk til dem. Tv på rommet er annnen ting.. hadde lyst å kaste den ut av vinduet... 20 kanaler men ikke EN med engelsk...
så i bunn og grunn fornøyd men utrolig skuffende tross hvor fint det var der.

Hotel in residential location. The room was small, but clean with comfortable beds. The fridge was useful for cold drinks. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel it was cheaper to go into the city.
The free tram travel was very useful. Tram times were very frequent and quickly took us into the city.
The main problem was the lack of air conditioning in the hotel. We thought in the absence of air conditioning the hotel could have provided fans, which they didn't. We asked, but were told they didn't have any. It was very uncomfortable as the outside temperature was high 30c's. I would expect a 4 star hotel to have air con.
Parking was no problem on the street outside. Didn't need to use hotel garage.

Hotel is some distance from the city center, but they provide free tram tickets to downtown, about a 15 min ride. The trams are frequent and comfortable, so the distance was not a problem. We found the staff friendly, helpful and accomodating.

Wie immer waren wir sehr zufreiden mit dem Aufenthalt im Balance Hotel. Die Zimmer waren geräumig und sehr sauber, Check In und Check Out waren schnell und problemlos, das Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker und das Service-Personal war superfreundlich, sehr aufmerksam und humorvoll. Es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Wir waren schon öfter im Balance Hotel und wir werden es auch immer wieder tun.

Waren mit der Familie ( 4.Pers.) zu einem Wochenentrip vor Ort, Familienzimmer im 3.OG war groß, 2 Räume, es gab keine Klimaanlage (war aber auch noch nicht benötigt) Inneneinrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen und könnte modernisiert werden.Personal an der Reception und im Frühstücksraum war nett und freundlich, leider war das Personal am späteren Abend im Restaurant nicht nicht so gastfreundlich als wir uns auf ein Getränk setzen wollten und haben uns auf die vollbesetzte Bar verwiesen oder den Drink auf dem Zimmer geniessen können, dies haben wir abglehnt, hier sollten die Mitarbeiter noch am serviceorientierten Handeln arbeiten, ansonsten waren wir auch mit dem reichhaltigen Frühstück zufrieden.

Freundlich und sauber. Allerdings sind Duschvorhänge nicht mehr unbedingt zeitgemäß. Auch einen passenden Parkplatz in Hotelnähe zu finden ist nicht ganz einfach und die Tiefgarage mit 15 Euro pro Tag, für Hotelgäste, doch sehr teuer. In den Nachtstunden kann es das eine oder andere Mal doch mal lauter werden, von der Straße her. Preis für Übernachtung sind völlig ok.

Sovesofaen var hård som sten! Vi gik i receptionen og spurgte om de kunne hjælpe os. De havde ikke andet end et par små uldtæpper vi kunne ligge ovenpå sofaen. Det blev den desværre ikke blødere af. Vi forslår en topmadras til de næste gæster der skal sove på den sovesofa.

das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Zimmer war okay aber ohne Klimanalage und die Sonne stand den ganzen Tag auf den Fenstern, die Tiefgarage ist etwas eng aber in den umliegenden Straßend findet man nur sehr schwer einen Parkplatz, wir hatten ohne Frühstück gebucht weil uns der Preis (12,-) zu hoch erschien, in der Nähe gibt es eine gute Bäckerei mit tollen und günstigerem Frühstücksangebot

Wir empfehlen das Hotel und werden wiederkommen. Wir reisen mit einem Rollstuhl. Da das behindertengerechte Zimmer nicht über das versprochene Doppelbett verfügte, wurde eine schnelle, kompetente und richtig gute Lösung in einem geräumigen, super rollstuhlgängigen Zimmer gefunden und ein Duschstuhl bereitgestellt. Wir wurden zu jeder Zeit freundlich und mit aller Ruhe behandelt, die wir brauchten. Wir sind schon in vielen Hotels gewesen und mitunter aufgrund der besonderen Bedürfnisse gehetzt oder ungut behandelt worden. Danke für diese gute Erfahrung. Lage und Anbindung sind super, der 90er-Charme ist cool und danke für den tollen Preis.

Terrible system and outdated.

Their network system regarding booking and payment was totally broken, so they asked me paid again because they couldn’t find payment history by computer and payment book. Even though i already paid the fee by hotels.com, I had to pay again because my flight was too soon to departure.

After getting back home, i collected all bills and evidences to proof my double payment. However, this hotel still keep saying that their computer system is still broken. It’s been more than 2weeks, and I don’t think they will going to fix it forever.

I will find all way to get my money back, when you are having nice(?) Christmas season with your family.

Parkgebühr und Parkmöglichkeit eine Frechheit!!

Positiv ist die Möglichkeit bis 5 Uhr Morgens einchecken zu können. Allerdings kostet das Parkhaus 9,50€ pro Tag! Das finde ich sehr frech, da die Parkmöglichkeiten sehr gering in der nähe sind und man somit genötigt wird im Parkhaus zu parken. Dazu kommt, das man uns dann 4 Tage berechnen wollte, obwohl wir den ersten Tag direkt bezahlt hatten und dann nur noch zwei Tage das Parkhaus genutzt haben.
Die Zimmereinigung hat am ersten Tag geklopft, trotz eines \" Neins\" kamen sie dennoch rein und mussten erneut ein \" Nein\" hören. Das Zimmer wurde während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts nicht einmal gereinigt... Neue Handtücher, fehlanzeige. Das ist wirklich unschön gewesen!
Ebenso haben die kostenlosen Kosmetikartikel gefehlt. Beispielsweise die Handseife und das Duschgel war so gut wie leer. Zum Glück hatten wir eigenes dabei.

Das Zimmer als solches war in Ordnung, bei Ankunft sauber und ordentlich. Die Matratzen waren uns allerdings zu weich.

Alles in allem würde ich nicht nochmal dieses Hotel wählen.
Die Parkmöglichkeit sollte nochmal überdacht werden, die Zimmer haben einen stolzen Preis, plus die Touristenabgabe und dann auch noch 9,50€ Parkgebühr pro Tag ist ein unding! Kostenfreies Parken oder zumindest vergünstigtes Parken wäre angebrachter.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und auf meine Anfrage zum Babybett bei der Buchung wurde schnell geantwortet. Die Parkplatzsituation war nicht so gut. Auf Expedia sind Parkplätze ausgewiesen. Es ist zwar eine Tiefgarage vorhanden, wenn diese voll ist, wird das Parken in der Umgebung jedoch leider sehr schwierig.

Ich fand das Personal super nett, die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet. Man muss wirklich nur fie eigene Zahnbürste und zahnpasta mitbringen.
Dad Frühstück ist wirklich ausreichend.

Die Unterkuf war gut zu erreichen, sher gut war der Tiefgaragen-Parkplatz (für 9€ pro Tag). Ein Zimmer hatte einen kleinen Balcon (super für Raucher) das andere war dafür sehr groß.

Gutes, ruhiges Hotel, einwandfreies Zimmer und Bad. Umfangreiches Frühstück in guter Qualität. Sehr enge Zugfahrt zur Tiefgarge. Ab einem Mittelklasse Fahrzeug ist hier heftiges Rangieren erforderlich.

Empfehlung für Leipzig

Ich hatte eine tolle Wohnung mit großem Wohnraum, separatem Schlafzimmer und Bad bekommen. Hoteleigenes Parkhaus ist erforderlich, da abends alles zugeparkt ist. Frühstücksbuffet war top.
