We last stayed here two years ago, having stayed a couple of times before that. We were very impressed with the investment the hotel has made in improving its reception area and restaurant. Our premium room was spotlessly clean and ideal for our overnight stay with the car parked outside. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. as were the staff. We wished we could have stayed longer. Ahighly recommended Logis Hotel.

Very comfortable room (the ones with a balcony in the range 31-36 ish). Warm (it was end Nov), attractive, carpeted (always a bonus), beautiful sunrise view. We’ve tried all room types over 20 years at Val Moret but this is our favourite so far (already booked for next 3 visits).

We (retired Brit couple) have stayed at Val Moret many times over 20 years or so. Dinner at the restaurant is always a highlight and the most recently acquired chef has increased the already delicious standards.
Rooms are clean and comfortable, all one needs for a night’s journey stopover. (I suspect few people book a week’s holiday here but a few nights would be entirely reasonable).
During 2025 there are building works progressing toward enlargement of the restaurant and reception. The work isn’t at all disruptive or intrusive, particularly for rooms further away. If the end result enhances the bar area that will be a great improvement, as the existing bar facilities are about the only thing that let the place down currently.
We haven’t used the spa but it looks good.
Finally, credit must be given to famille Marisy (and particularly to Mme, who apparently never sleeps) who work tirelessly for the comfort of their guests. It’s really good to see a family business thriving in this ever increasingly conglomerate dominated industry.

This hotel is very well located, just off the motorway for those driving through France, but set amongst fields so very quiet and safe. The rooms are very clean, there is lots of parking and although I could not have dinner there as we arrived too late, I have heard from family that the food is great. I can vouch for the tasty breakfast however. Will definitely visit again !

Le Val Moret is in an ideal location for a stopover and it was convenient to be able to park our car adjacent to the bedroom block. The room was comfortable, functional and, importantly, very clean. The cuisine at the hotel was excellent and we enjoyed a high quality dinner and a good breakfast to send us on our way.

Some rooms are of a motel type in blocks around the main building. Ours was compact but had everything needed for a comfortable overnight stay. Staff were very professional attentive and friendly. Loved having a glass of champagne on the terrace.

Our first time staying there on an overnight stop. Very easy to find off the A5 to or from Calais. The check-in was easy, helpful staff in reception and restaurant. Excellent meal. Spa/Pool if you need a swim or more. The rooms are a chalet style arrangement around the grounds.

Excellent overnight stop. Large bedroom and bathroom with separate w.c. Silent a.c. Ground floor room with direct access to car was very convenient. However our block was about 100 m from restaurant up a slope which was not easy for anyone with reduced mobility. Traffic noise audible from lowest block so had to sleep with door closed. Recommend rooms nearer restaurant facing away from motorway.
Only criticism is lack of any chairs or tables outside ground floor rooms. There were a few sun loungers on lawns. We didn't try pool. The fixed price menu was limited choice but excellent. Slightly disappointed with tarte tatin which had biscuit base. Pichet of wine was only €9.

Hotel just of A5autoroute perfect stop. Clean basic roams. Nice pool for a swim. Excellent restaurant had a fantastic french meal for 29 euros. Will use again when travelling up or down France. 4 hours south of Calais. Fantastic.

A pleasant stay, enjoyed my swim. The weather was very hot and there is no air conditioning so sleeping was a little difficult. Pleasant dinner on the terrace.

Very convenient situation just off the motorway, good base for touring. You are not conscious of any motorway noise. Restaurant good, excellent food. Parking outdoors but behind secure gate. Comfortable room. Free wifi though not secure. We didn't use the spa, but the pool looks good, with a sunbathing area.

Our stay at le Val Moret
Great stopover hotel when going between the south and the north of France. Rooms were fine. They were clean and the basic room was ok for size. We took our dog and were pleased to find there were plenty of places to walk her round the hotel. It is used by loads of Brits doing the same as us. There was no kettle in the room though so if you like to make a cup of tea in the room you need to take one. Meals are great and would recommend the hotel for a stopover.
