Hotel near the Lac d'Orient but no views of the lake due to surrounding trees. Simple chalet style bedroom in a bungalow, clean and comfortable, main criticism no opening window for ventilation and no aircon. Can't leave door open overnight for ventilation for safety and security reasons.
Reception, bar and restaurant in main building. Seems to cater mainly for groups. Set menu in dining room when not fully booked for groups. Friendly service. More restaurants nearby.

Great entertainment- reminded us of Fawlty Towers a little.when tap turned to hot goes boiling and burned my fingers. Pool showers when hot hardly any water pressure

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel, booked as a stopover coming home from Provence. Set in the countryside with a large lake just a few minutes walk from the rear of the property. Easy parking. Restaurant and bar on site but very nice restaurant Belvédère overlooking the lake 5 mins away which we ate at, or other options in the village. Rooms are lodge style, no frills but comfortable and spacious, good shower, plus a kettle and small patio with table and chairs. Didn’t have time to try the indoor pool but it looked good. Friendly staff explained everything on arrival. Breakfast was cold continental buffet style. Peaceful setting. Overall a good stay.

Overnight stay en route to the Pyrenees ,
The hotel consists of small bungalow type rooms grouped around a restaurant/reception area . The room was basic but very clean. Scandi style decor .The room had a concrete area with table and two chairs outside .We had informed reception in advance that we would arrive late. Keys were left in a safe box .
After checking in we decided to go for a walk .The lake setting was the reason for choosing this hotel .The access to the lake seemed to be across the adjacent motor home parking area .Signposting was poor and the gate which may have led to access was locked.There were no instructions on how to gain access, so we returned to our room. There were no instructions on how to access the Wi-Fi, no password displayed .This was disappointing , as my husband needed to read work emails .
Reception was closed and the restaurant staff could not offer advice ,
No menus for breakfast were displayed but when I asked the staff what was available for breakfast they shrugged their shoulders. They just.told me that it would cost fifteen euros each .
Without more information ,we chose not to bother, My husband is a diabetic and needs to be sure that things are suitable ,
We left early ,as we had a long journey ahead , We would not choose to return to this establishment .

The pool area with jacuzzi and sauna was very clean, relaxing and enjoyable. It was not very busy.
Our flat was very comfortable and quite spaceous. The beds and bedding were very confortable
There was a little kettle with 2 instant coffee in a room of 4 (3adullts), it would have been nice to have at least a coffee each.
We really enjoyed our stay and will recommend the place

Disappointing experience.

The restaurant menu was
different from the one online, which I had previously emailed to confirm was correct. We also had to book a table in advance, which we did, two days before our visit.

The online version of the menu had 5 starters and 4 desserts. Only two starters were available: one we couldn't eat due to our dietary requirements. The other, which we had, was incredibly rich and not really to our taste.

The main course was limited. The two choices we would have preferred were unavailable. The option we chose (cod) was barely edible. The fish didn't taste fresh and was over-cooked. The vegetables were also not fresh: either frozen or out of a can.

There were 2 choices for dessert, only one from the online menu.

I ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, my order was taken but I was then told that they only had sweet white wine. They had no draft beer.

This was more like Butlins than a restaurant in France. I expected better, especially as the meal was not cheap.

The rooms are in little chalets spread around the site which is pleasant enough with grass, surrounded by trees.

The bedroom was small but clean and did have a fridge and a kettle.
It had a cold tiled floor in bedroom, so it's advisable to bring slippers or flip flops to avoid cold feet.

The wet room water from the shower leaked into the bedroom. The floor in the wet room is clearly not engineered correctly to drain properly.

I had to wait to check out as the receptionist was away from reception.

The restaurant only offered à ‘Plat du jour’ menu with no alternative. This wasn’t very helpful as I am a vegetarian. We had to drive some distance to find a restaurant that was open.
The pool was nice, but everything else was a bit shabby.

This is a decent value hotel for an overnight or short stay, especially, I think,if you have children. Although ours have long since flown the nest, there were plenty of families staying. The indoor swimming pool and small play area were popular with children.
It's a complex, rather than a one building hotel, with small chalets containing a couple of rooms. Our room, for two people was fine for us. Not very big, but had a comfortable bed, and wet room with a decent shower. The room was impeccably clean. We did have breakfast on one occasion. A typical continental one, costing 11 euros. The hotel is close to the lake and beach, which again, is ideal for children.

Good place for a stop over to break up a long journey, the rooms were clean with loads of space and very warm we stayed at the end of October so temperatures were cold at night but the room stayed toasty.
There were some negatives
Restaurant closed on Sunday- not many place open nearby to get food
No fridge in the room
Only 1 member of staff spoke English
Breakfast was very expensive- we went to a lovely bakers instead

Un hôtel qui a pour esprit club de vacances. Accès au lac facile, rapide et pieds depuis l'hôtel.
Les équipements comme la piscine avec une possibilité d'avoir des transats à l'extérieur à l'ombre ou au soleil. Une petite table individuelle par chambre se trouvant à l'extérieur, sur un coin pelouse, TRES appréciable le soir le printemps ou l'été.
Nous étions 2, nous avons vraiment apprécié cet endroit. Nous reviendrons.

Absolument rien à dire sur la propreté de la chambre, les équipements, le personnel. Tout était parfait.
Dommage par ailleurs qu'il n'y ait pas la climatisation dans la chambre. Nous avons eu très chaud.
Et grosse déception sur le petit déjeuner où tous les produits sont industriels alors qu'il y a assez de producteurs locaux pour proposer des confitures, miels, yaourts, fromages... de la région ainsi que du pain frais

Sur le chemin de Compostelle, nous avions choisi de nous reposer deux jours à cet hotel...
Sympa aec accès à la piscine au jacuzzi et au sauna jusque 20 h30 ! Très proche du lac et de ses restaurants. Les chambres réartes dans des petits bungalows sont très sympas.

La proximité avec le lac et la plage de Mesnil Saint Père est top! Par contre il est important de noter que ce n'est pas un hôtel : cela ressemble à des locations de vacances (maisons de type lotissement). Les toilettes et salles de bain sont au rez de chaussée, ce qui n'est pas du tout pratique la nuit. Elles sont grandes mais sans âme (pas de décoration, murs blancs, moquette...). Le petit déjeuner est très moyen (un peu de produits régionaux, pas vraiment de choix, trop de produits industriels). Le bar était fermé à 21h, pas de réceptionniste, donc impossible de commander un verre....la piscine est pas mal mais un peu froide. Nous sommes déçues de ce séjour, par contre le personnel est très gentil!

Nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel et avons pris notre chambre. Nous avons pu profiter du spa.
Le samedi matin, horreur, après une douche, mon mari a eu le droit à une douche froide ! Il y a un petit ballon donc il faut prendre une micro-douche pour que la deuxième personne puisse prendre sa douche.

Le séjour étais incroyable, très calme chaleureux, pas mal d'activité et superbe accueil. Perit promenade près du lac d'orient.

Cependant, niveau propreté a revoir car en arrivant beaucoup de poussière plus des toiles avec araignée, et le sol pas très propre.

Wij hebben hier enorm genoten van de omgeving !
De kamers zijn ruim en ondanks de warmte toch koel. Zeer goed onderhouden. Wij hadden een vogelnest aan de inkom en dit gaf wel wat vuil.
