Had to wait on arrival for someone to welcome us to check-in. Had to return to reception to request milk for our tea/coffee making and cups/mugs for drinking out of but were informed milk was not provided by the hotel by a miserable man, Glad it was only an overnight stay,

Very convenient for overnight stays when travelling through France. We have stayed here several times over the years as it sets a high standard in terms of the quality of accommodation. A good restaurant is sited next door and it is convenient for visits to the heautiful city of Troyes.

Bed sheet not made fully, dirty towel left from previous customer, floor dirty, stains on wall. Sorry but if this is what almost 100 gbp buys in France then look at non hotels. 20 years ago this was probably good value, now it’s a flea pit.

Big room, smelly and hot

We made a last minute booking here as we had been badly delayed crossing the channel. The welcome was warm, but so too was the room. When we entered the room there was a horrid ‘stale’ smell which was not good. We’d hoped that the air-con would freshen the air, but it didn’t, and it was pretty ineffective at cooling the room. All night the air was thick and uncomfortable. The room itself was large and had a toilet, a bathroom and two large double beds. Not much else (no kettle or fridge etc)

We have been using this hotel for many years as a stopover to and from the south of France.

We normally book a \"standard\" rooms but this time tried a \"premium\". There was very little difference between the two although the premium have underfloor heating, which was cold on arrival and took a long time to warm up.

The rooms all have tile floors and for our last couple of stays we have found hat the floors are dirty - as tested by wetting a piece of tissue and rubbing the floor.

Overall, the hotel is starting to look tired - even though the second block is less than ten years old.

The room was ok until we went to the bathroom. Toilet seat wasn’t attached to the toilet and when we flushed the fixture half slid off the wall. When we told reception she said she would make a note but wouldn’t be able to have it fixed. While the room was clean the bathroom had been overlooked by the cleaning lady and had several spider webs and scuff marks behind the door.

What a perfect hotel. As we were arriving late at night we rang ahead as we knew reception would be closed after 11pm, the staff were extremely helpful (Sebastien) & really welcoming on our arrival (10:55pm phew). The room was so spacious and clean. I will definitely be staying here again.

As you walked into the hotel the bar area reception area appeared sparse and bleak, we had to wait a short time for the manager to appear but he was polite and helpful. The bar area was not too unpleasant to sit in and have a drink, even though there was only a small settee and 2 chairs that you could actually sit on, The reception area needs to be updated as it does not give a welcoming ambiance when you walk in. The bedroom was dated and the bathroom looked like it could do with a thorough clean. The single beds were comfortable, but the bed coverings and towels were tired and could do with being renewed.

Convenient Traveller's Stop Over

This motel style hotel provides a convenient stop over in the Troyes area. The room was quiet and comfortable, with separate rooms for bathing and toilet. The room was large and had plenty of space to stretch out after a long day driving.
Reception was quick, informative and friendly. We were offered discount in the grill neighbouring the hotel.
The hotel has free off road parking and is located in a quiet business area. The room was quiet at night and the level of comfort and quality of furnishings was appropriate to the room rate.

Stop-off at Logis De France Des Sources

We stopped off here during a trip from Italy back to the UK. Hotel is easy to find, clean and comfortable. 10 minute drive into Troyes centre (which is a wonderfully pretty town by the way). Didn't sample any facilities at the hotel except for using the room to stay overnight. We were a family of four (two young children) and the room had two large double beds which suited us fine.

Was easy to find.
Staff pleasant.
However, the toilet bowl in the bathroom had a lot of limescale which showed insufficient cleaning over a period of time.
Bathmat supplied was so small, if we had had size 12 feet I don't think they would have fitted!
We requested a room with a bath. However there were no taps and we had to fill bath with showerhead and hot water was intermittent so bath ended up warmish rather than hot.

We stayed one night. The room was a generous size and clean. The hotel generally appears to have been 'finished' rather quickly with a curtain rail hanging from the wall and cheap fittings. The staff on the other hand were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was decent.

Great place for a comfortable stopover

Ours was a short stay on the way through from South to North. The room was large and well appointed. We were really happy with the quality given the low cost that we paid. It is placed well for easy access to fast roads in and out.
Only real gripe was that the wifi didn't reach down to our room very well.
I would recommend.

Great stop-over hotel

We were delayed at the Eurotunnel, and instead of arriving at the hotel by 7.00pm as planned, we ended up not arriving until midnight. The staff were very helpful when we rang to say that we would be late, and although check in closes at 11.00 pm they offered to put the keys in an envelope and leave them for us in a secure location.

Upon arrival we found the room to be much larger than expected. The beds were very comfortable and the electronic shutters really helped to keep the room dark.

Only suggestion would be to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but maybe this is not a French thing!

Decent hotel - good for an overnight stay.

We stayed here for one night on our way back from a skiing trip. The rooms were a decent size and were comfortable. We did find some rubbish under the bed that the previous guest had left, indicating a less than thorough clean, but otherwise it was all fine. The reception staff were very nice and there was an OK grill restaurant next door so getting an evening meal was easy despite our late arrival. The area is very industrial but the hotel is close to the motorway which is why we picked it - and it has plenty of parking. if all you are looking for is a clean, comfortable and cheap place to crash for the night, then this is the ideal place.

Expedia description of rooms is poor (as always)

Expedia sucks when it comes to the detail on room descriptions. Lousy. This place has 2 types of room - standard and superior - in 2 identical blocks next to the hotel reception building. We booked a standard family room - which according to Expedia has '2 double beds'. In fact you get one double and a double fold out bed - which was pretty rickety. Additionally the bedding was very basic and there were no pillows. I complained and said I'd booked a room with 2 double beds. Reception refused to budge. But offered to upgrade me to a superior quad room which also has 2 double beds. Superior rooms in the other block are in a completely different league - big comfy beds, new pillows and linen. Huge flatscreen TV. A totally different experience. I think they should have upgraded me for free, but it was late and I couldn;t be botherd to argue - seeing as the difference was just 10 euros.Best 10 euros I spent on that trip.
Descriptions for both room types are identical on Expedia - so how you're supposed to know what you're actually getting for your money I have no idea,.

Very poor experience!

Arrived 10pm. Dirty bed linen pillows and towels. Replaced by night porter. While in reception at 10pm we noticed jars of honey and chocolate spread left on buffet table, with spoons covered in butter left in the jars obviously from breakfast that day. At. breakfast the following day, same spoons left in jars! Only 1 hour into breakfast hardly anything left on buffet table...1 black banana half a cake, and the end of a dried up baguette! Had to clear a table ourselves, dining room was in a shocking state. Have stayed in many 2 star hotels in France, & while we expect basic for this price, we do not expect dirty rooms, and unhyuenic restaurants.

Easy to find hotel on outskirts of Troyes. Good location for exploring the city. Secure (fenced off car parking). Friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet.

First room was of good quality. Second room was poorly maintained and should not have been used.

As hotel is very close to busy ring road there is considerable traffic noise depending on the location of the hotel room. However every room has shutters which help reducing noise.

Basic accomodation, but friendly & helpful service

Staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival, but that didn't cover up that this is very basic accommodation. Less than half the lights in the room worked and the pillows were the lumpiest I have ever experienced! Also, don't wait too late for a shower as the hot water seemed to run out by the evening.

The picture of the hotel does not show the actual rooms - they are in \"blocks\" adjacent. Very unhappy with state of room. Main light was one small bulb in ceiling, plugs did not work, and our beds had been made with only bottom sheet and no top sheet, just a blanket. Found this out at 11 pm but reception in main hotel closed and locked. Apparently we should have phoned the hotel number and someone would have answered. Not ideal if you are English and hard of hearing like me! So suffered a very unhappy night in an unhygienic bed. This was the 2nd most expensive of our 5 hotels on this trip and by far the worst. Would not recommend.

Nice hotel at a reasonable price

Nice hotel, reasonable price the main building houses the reception and the room I stayed in was in a newly built block next to the main building. A second one is also under construction close by too. Once finished it will be even better.
Very friendly staff on reception, spoke English well too, be aware reception closes at 10pm though.

A voucher is given to use at the restaurant next door, you need to use it too as its not cheap at all.

A very basic hotel. OK for a stop-over, but not for an extended stay.

The manager was very friendly but would not let us check in early.

No restaurant, but there is a diner, very popular with the locals, right next door. The hotel provided a 15% discount voucher which was useful.

Very good breakfast for 7.5 Euros, the cheapest we found in France

Worst hotel in France?

Arrived at 10.15pm to find that the hotel was locked and all lights off. I phoned the hotel on my mobile and was told that someone would call me back. When no-one called I was about to give up and look for other options in Troyes. Eventually someone arrived with a room key in an envelope and I made my way to what was effectively a cheap motel room on the other side of the car park. Dreadful hotel and dreadful service - an Ibis would be luxury in comparison. Don't park in the underground car park - no security cameras and no other car had parked in there.

More than adequate overnight stay. We were travelling on motorcycles and the underground parking was a bonus as it was raining. Staff were very pleasant. Little disappointed with the breakfast.

Just stayed overnight in this hotel in the middle of a long drive from Nice to London. The hotel was fine for what I needed which was just a bed for night. However, the water pressure and temperature of the shower were not what I would have liked so I ended up having a slightly warmer than luke-warm bath. Generally not a big deal though. The \"satellite television\" didn't work in my room but I'm sure the staff would have helped if I had pointed this out - I had my laptop and free wifi so it didn't bother me. When it comes to the breakfast, I would save your money and go elsewhere. €7 was definitely a bit on the steep side for what they offered. All in all though, it was perfectly adequate for just a quick stop-through.

Hotel new - not quite finished externally but no doubt builders moved off for summer season and will complete the works in the Autumn. Rooms adequate size and comfortable. Good eating place next door but other adjacent buildings quite industrial. Location good - off the main motorway. Ideal overnight stay with less than 4 hours drive to Calais. Good value for money

Had a family room for 4. Quite spacious and good quality for the price paid. Only downside is the walls are quite thin and all noises from surrounding neighbors can be heard, luckily no one stayed up late. Also nice is that they give a coupon with 15% reduction for the grill restaurant which is next door.

We rang the hotel to advise them that we would arrive after midnight and a very nice member of staff stayed on past the usual 11 o'clock closure of reception to greet us and hand over the keys. From our perspective this represented service that went above and beyond the norm. The hotel itself was absolutely perfect and we would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone and will use it again.
