Air conditioning didn’t work on a night of 37c. 5 beds crushed into a room thatwastiny and dirty. Insects in room. Never been dusted. Foul smell. No kettle. Ti y sink in bedroom and no simk in bathroom. This was supposed to be a family room only suitable for a family of mice.

For the cheap price, it’s fine. But my room stunk of smoke, someone before must have smoked out of the window.
It was a basic functional room with en-suite on way to Switzerland. Wouldn’t stay here for more than a night. Staff were friendly and check in was easy opposite the hotel in the other hotel. Arrived just after 9pm and staff were still there.

OK for overnight stop

ok for a over night stop over. If you are at B Hotel, it's opposite the main hotel reception building, there isn't any WIFI . That was OK for us, but you have to go across the road to the other building for it. Otherwise, it was a good choice for an overnight stop on our journey. The shower was really good, nice bed and AC.

Advertised that they had wifi but didn’t. Although they eventually were able to borrow a wifi booster we still had to push for it. The hotel is managed by a nearby hotel. The hotel looks abandoned, cold and dark. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean im comparison to the hotel. The rooms are paper thine so you hear everything.

Easy to find with Waze but confusing to check in. You have to go to reception of a hotel opposite. And nothing is in English. You have to work out to call the emergency phone
number. The chap at reception on e you found him was very helpful. The room itself was very average.

Adequate for one night

One night stay . On arrival given a room that hadn't been cleaned went back to reception new room given and apologies received.Offers basic but adequate service. Room felt very small and dated , Bathroom very small toilet very stained needs bleach. Shower ok . Beds feel nice and comfortable.
We had breakfast was adequate selection for continental not worth the price paid but did the job.
Positive was our dog was with us and could stay here for a fee that was reasonable.
The one night did what we needed but wouldn't stop again at this hotel.

This is a well priced hotel - the room was small, but very comfortable, quiet and had air conditioning. It is in walking distance of places to eat.

Stop over

A convenient stop for one night when returning from the lakes of Italy. Decent parking. Basic accommodation with a tiny sink in the room. Shower and toilet in separate en suite. Beds comfortable and all rooms air conditioned.
Only spoilt by other guests who could not work out how to close a door without slamming it, but not the fault of the hotel. Would stay again.

We arrived late but they have electronic check in that was efficient but an emergency number for issues that we did not see till morning. The rooms were clean and there was off steeet parking. Beds were comfortable too. Breakfast was basic but plentiful. Front desk staff was professional and polite. Right off the highway which is why we chose it.

Don’t let the outside fool you.

This little hotel was a little surprising. The inside is much better than the outside. They packed all necessities into the small, clean modernish room and it was a great nights sleep. The breakfast was surprisingly good as well.
Don’t expect luxury, but it is a clean, quiet nights sleep.

Nice hotel for a quick stay

Hotel doesn't look great from the outside but is more modern inside. Room is adequate with comfortable beds, nice bathroom and air con.
Staff are great. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment.
One thing we didn't like is that it does not have a lift. Ok if you don't have much luggage but we did!
Overall we would definitely stay again.

Great transit stop

For the price and for a stop over on the way to Calais this was a great choice. The staff were friendly and the mattress very comfortable. Lots of cheap and cheerful eateries within walking distance and buffet breakfast was fine. Cheap fuel nearby as well.

Troyes Chapelle St Luc Family Room Number 24

With no air conditioning the room was extremely hot with external temperature in late 30s. We asked for a fan but none were available. The room was very small for 4 people and the bunk beds could not be moved away from the door style window. This meant that we could not open the window more than 45degrees and when it was open, the person on the top bunk could not access the steps to get up or down. The tap in the bathroom sink only produced hot water, no matter where the mixer tap was set so we had no cold water to clean teeth or cool down with. The pillows were lumpy and unsupportive leaving me with a sore back in the morning. No additional pillows were provided, we had one each. There was no bin in the room for rubbish.
That said, the room was clean and checkin was quick. We also enjoyed the range of fresh continental products available for breakfast.

Good stopover hotel

Clean, comfortable, functional hotel ideal for stopover. Recently renovated apparently & it was clean & comfortable enough for a one night stop over on a French road trip. Location isn't the prettiest, being on a sort of industrial estate but if you are just on a stop over then it hardly matters. A clean room and comfortable beds, a good hot shower are much more important!

Good quality for such a low price

I only needed the hotel for a quick overnight stay. Parked my motorbike and was able to chain it and kept it safe and away from the main roads.

I also arrived late and the late automated service worked really well.
The room was clean and the bed comfy.

Not very luxurious at all, but great for the price

Good for an overnight stay.

We stayed overnight on the way to Calais from Italy. The hotel was just what we needed. It's not far from the motorway so didn't take us off our route.
The hotel was newly refurbished and the room was quite comfortable for 4 of us.
All in all it was good for an overnight stay.

Hotel in Troyes for overnight stay

Overnight stay on way back to UK. The Hotel was comfortable for the price paid. No air conditioning or fan provided and very hot night. Window opens to freeway. Staff were very friendly, drinks at bar very well priced, hotel in middle of repaint and re carpet. I feel a fan could be provided in rooms when no air conditioning is available.

We arrived before 4pm so checked in via the machine outside.
When we entered the hotel is smelt damp and musty. The room was supposed to be suitable for a disabled person, but the bed was up against a wall on one side.The carpet had a big stain on it. When we left we had several bites, not sure what from.
The internet pictures were nothing like the real thing, and the internet said there was a restaurant but we discovered that was only open during the week and not on a Sunday

Hotel is being re-painted. Smell of paint was overpowering and made us quite nauseous. Also, there were no \"!Wet Paint\" signs visible and my wife's shoulder bag became marked with paint because she hadn't realised the paint was wet

The hotel is based a couple of miles outside of the city and is used by a lot of business men / traders. However, the staff are friendly and the car park is secure. The room was clean and functional and excellent value. Troyes is a hidden beauty. We never expected to see such wonderful medieval buidings. Well worth a visit.

Nice hotel for the money. Small but functional room - comfortable bed and good bathroom. Did not have breakfast - there was a nice little terrace area to sit out if you wanted - we had our own there!. It's some distance from the city centre - although a very straightforward drive in. Good commercial centre nearby.

This was fine for a stop over and reasonable value for money. The details suggested it was near the town centre but that was incorrect and we needed to drive in to Troyes. However it was worth it as it is beautiful place and we might try a weekend break here.

It was perfect apart from the awful stale cigarette smell in the room. The assistant lent us a spray but we could still smell it. The breakfast was very good value for money and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were brilliant.

A good overnight stop

This is a good value hotel . Quite basic but more than adequate for an overnight stop. The breakfast was very good value and a bonus was they did not charge for our dog. The restaurant was not open in the evening but there is a reasonable restaurant across the road. Would use it again whilst travelling.

Everything a bit 'tired'

Hotel appeared to be in need of renovation, everything was fine but seemed a bit worn and tired but the bed and pillows were comfy. There was no air conditioning anywhere and with the evening temperature in high 20's it was uncomfortable. Restaurant felt more like a cafe than than a restaurant.

Great one night stopover

Hotel balladins at Troyes is perfect as a stopover on route to Southern France. It's only a short distance from motorway but there are a couple of tricky turns so a sat-nav is useful. It's quite basic, as reflected in the price, but it's very comfortable and clean. All you need after a long day's driving. Their buffet breakfast is about 7 euros but much better value than autoroute. A reasonably priced dinner with several choices can be had most evenings, on other days ther are acouple of restaurants in walking distance. We love the Chinese one just across the main road leading to Troyes. The outside looks unprepossessing but it's spacious and airey inside with an excellent buffet very reasonably priced. Theit stir-fries are lovely, just choose what you want in it and they cook it for you while you watch . A short drive into the centre of Troyes , which is really old and quaint, will give you a choice of more restaurants

All I wanted was an easily accessible location and a comfortable,clean bed for the night and I got it. Crisp laundered sheets and a clean room with shower. It is a pre-fab motel so construction not substantial and noise of doors closing vibrates through the building so ear plugs recommended but you get what you pay for and it fitted cheap and cheerful category so I was perfectly happy. Receptionist very efficient and pleasant to deal with too.

Clean and Functional

The hotel was used as a stop off whilst we drove from Calais to the Cote d'Azur. The hotel produced what was expected of it; friendly staff, functional room, serviceable facilities. The location wasn't in the best area of town in that the shops and touristy areas were nowhere near it, however, that's not why we chose it. The car parking area was unsecured but that didn't lead to any problems. Overall, well worth the money and would use it again.

Bonjour,
J’ai appelé pour une arrivée autonome.Je les ai relancé 3 fois afin d’obtenir le mail avec les codes.Je l’ai reçu exactement à 22h30 dans mes courriers indésirables alors que je leur avais demandé de me l’envoyer + tôt vers 17h afin de traître mes mails sur mon PC de bureau au travail.Je n’ai pas pu avoir accès à mon mail tardif à 22h30 que par l’intermédiaire de ma femme que j’ai appelée afin qu’elle se connecte depuis le domicile pour me transmettre les codes.De +,la chambre ne sentait pas bon et il y faisait très chaud aux environs de 28 degrès. Pas de clim’.Je n’ai pas dormi de la nuit à cause de cette chaleur insupportable.Réveil tôt à 5h30 et je suis arrivé au travail très endormi toute la journée.Les patients dont je suis le garant dépendent de la qualité de mon travail, affaibli par cette chambre chaude,je pourrais très bien avoir des manquements.Heureusement,pas de grosses urgences sur la journée de travail mais dans un contexte de travail dense,je ne sais pas comment j’aurais pu gérer.
Il est important de mettre au moins une clim fonctionnelle ou bien un air conditionné à 16 degrès pour récroidir la chambre avant de recevoir les clients.
Je vous remercie pour votre lecture attentive et de prendre en compte pour une prochaine fois. Autrement je me verrai contraint de laisser des mauvais avis.

Chambre vraiment médiocre avec une odeur de vieux tabac.
La chambre était très mal isolée malgré mon ouïe qui n’est pas sur-développé. Chaque passage et chaque pas donnaient l’impression que d’autres personnes étaient dans la même chambre.
Le lit est inconfortable j’en ai des courbatures au dos.
La climatisation fonctionne bien mais elle fait un bruit toutes les 30 minutes donc impossible d’avoir un sommeil profond.
La prochaine fois, je ferai l’effort sur le prix pour une chambre avec un peu plus de confort.
