Beautiful property with large comfortable rooms and plenty of storage. Everyone who works there was friendly and helpful - whether at the front desk, pool, restaurants or spa, the service is terrific. There are several options for food and drink (restaurants, bars, poolside) with different menus at each, and the food and drink at all is very good.

Lovely location with very helpful staff throughout the property- from the front desk to the restaurant to the pool and bar areas. People went out of their way to take care of us. Small details could use attention- broken curtains in room letting light in the morning, old hair dryers, stains on some furniture (lots of kids around). Also, there were some noisy weddings and events that made it difficult to sleep on two nights and crowds of families arrived at the middle of the week making pool space unavailable. Great recommendations from concierge for restaurants in old town and nearby Benitses.

Disappointing. This was our third stay and I wouldn’t go back.

Check in was speedy, especially as they had free valet parking.

The villa we were in was beautiful with a gorgeous view, perfect for spending most of our time outdoors. However, there were things like broken blinds that wouldn’t open, curtains that got stuck on the rail and some of the voile that was just hanging off. There were also coffee stains all over the rug and sofa. I wouldn’t be bothered in a cheap Airbnb but not for an expensive 5 star hotel.

Gobsmacked to find out that, although the tap water isn’t drinkable, they only provide 1 small carton (about 250ml) of water per person per day. They advised me this has changed this year - clear cost saving from an exceptionally expensive hotel, especially when already spending a lot.

The service was slow everywhere, the shuttle to the beach is only every 30 minutes so we walked down (which was fine) but not really possible to walk back with a 6 year old and the bus had to make 3 trips to be able to take everyone back up to the hotel (they only put on an 8 seater!). It just made trips to the beach too much effort.

The food and drink is all really expensive - London prices. A two course evening meal for 2 adults and a child with one drink each was about €160. The room service menu - choice and quality was average at best.

We spent a lot of money to have an amazing holiday and everything was average. Disappointed.

Angsana is a beautiful property with the most fantastic pool I have ever been in. The rooms, view, gym, breakfast, lounges. And pool are all excellent.
The food options on site are average, and all extras are quite expensive. You can’t drink the water on site, which apparently is true across Corfu. You constantly need to be asking or paying for water which was a real downside.
The private beach was just ok. Not the nicest beach or water on the island. The shuttle is mildly convenient, but you do have to wait a fair bit if there are lots of people.
Benitses is walkable, but the ride to old town was always between 35-45 mins and taxis and private rides are very expensive.

We checked in late in the evening. I booked through Expedia a Ionian Junior Sea View Suite. Upon getting into the room, we had a view of the sea BUT also an even bigger view of the hotel entrance with heavy traffic. We could not even enjoy the balcony as we had no privacy whatsoever. Everybody could see us from the hotel entry. When asked to change room for the one we booked, I was told the hotel was full and they could maybe change us the next day. No supervisors were available but we did not find out until many hours later as the front desk kept telling us “we are talking to the manager and will get back to you”. The next day we had a full day of activities and the manager offered to put us in the same room with same view but higher up. The room was not ready though so she offered to move us that night but we had unpacked since we were staying for short period of time. The view being the same I declined switching. Then we had issues when asking for our car and towels. We found ourselves at a beach 1h30 away from the hotel with no towels so we had to bought some because they “forgot” about it. For the room the supervisor told me it was basically my fault since I refused to change rooms and for the towels issue they did not even offer to reimburse us for them since it was their oversights. Basically the managers especially Angeliki were not helpful and all she managed to do was to blame me for not changing rooms. Definitely NOT a luxury hotel at all in term of guest service.

Though the hotel has stunning views and is a nice looking property, the service is not 5-star level. The staff are nice and polite, but most are clearly not trained in hospitality. This showed up on our first day, when our luggage was misplaced for over an hour. The rooms are also not what I'd expect from a 5-star hotel.

I would like to give a special shout-out to Guest Relations manager, Nina. She went out of her way to correct the hotel's egregious error and made sure to check in on us. She was very helpful and professional.

We stayed at the Olivar earlier on our Corfu trip and that was a true 5-star experience. The contrast between two 5-star hotels a few Km apart was stark.

We would especially like to thank Costantina who looked after us in the late bar as she was lovely and unfortunately we didn’t manage to say goodbye as it was her day off. The pool area was very busy with children so it would have been better if children/families were given their own area of the pool and an adults only area created

The resort itself was amazing. Breathtaking views, amazing Infiniti pool with cabanas. The food was just average (do not recommend sushi at the Asian restaurant) and the service was ok. There were a few hiccups with the room- housekeeping left the door open on night after turn down service, the AC did not work well and the room was average. The staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations and transportation accommodations.

The hotel was very nice and the staff were super friendly and helpful, the rooms very comfortable and decent size, however my only complaint was the breakfast was not as great and very limited on choice - I have stayed in many 5* Hotels and they have all had a much more bigger vartiey of breakfast buffets. Considering the price you are paying you would expect a decent meal for the stay.

We stayed in the corner suite, which was beautiful. The room was well-appointed, the view was tremendous and the quality of the bed/bathroom was exceptionally high.

The hotel fell down a little in terms of proximity to other attractions and amenities. You are a little secluded on the hillside, which may be a bonus to some, but if you do not have a car and do not want to fork out for a taxi, then walking up and down a steep hill becomes your only option.

Food and facilities were excellent. Price is high for on-site restaurants but that was to be expected at a 5* resort. Breakfast is broad and of a good quality - always plenty of space to be seated.

The staff did seem tired on occasion, which is quite understandable after a long season.

We loved Angsana and would stay again. We expected a little more from location and not so busy including the insta-fame people. The service was exceptional some of the time for example hiring a luxury car and organising a transfer was so simple, quick and easy. The spa was lovely and we were made to feel very special. The end of the season meant everyone was tired, fatigued and ready for a break- we felt this despite their tremendous efforts to smile and be friendly. The room service twice a day was a special touch.

Unfortunately our room the bathroom had an ants on the sink counter as we did not know room Service was available for 24 hours. We talked to the reception the next day when showing the reception a video and pictures of the ants that we had killed with the towels as evidence she dismissed our case and just told us that room service was available 24 hours, we had felt that she had not taken us seriously as we were unable to use the bathrooms amenities due to the ants. Additionally the lights kept switching on and off along with the shower going on and off during the middle of the night on it Own. However the rest of the stay was nice, food was great, pool and beach was great.

Whilst the pool, fitness club and views are outstanding, the hotel is tired (eg hundreds of pool tiles broken or missing, broken toilet doors in gym). One major disadvantage is its isolated location as taxis are required to go anywhere, which one must pay. If the hotel offered complimentary shuttles to local village and Corfu old town this would make a huge difference.
Feedback was given to hotel so hopefully they will take action, as they did seem to care.

Our stay at Angsana was absolutely incredible. The resort is breath taking, it was truly a luxurious experience from the minute you walk in. Every staff member was kind, helpful and made sure we had everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Their service truly stood out to us, especially the fantastic villa team. I have never recommended a hotel to friends and family as much as I have recommended Angsana. My only advice is to book longer than you originally plan for, because you will not want to leave!

Another minor issues were the poor internet connection and that first aids wasn’t fully equipped for sunburns emergencies.

Staff are super… Nicos (very best) from the reception to the house cleaning everyone is super nice… two slight points to point out ! The beautiful Glass that surrounds the hotel is never cleaned during our stay ! It should be it’s the part of this special place and it’s a shame … the other Hotel needs to up the food in its restaurants … local restaurants in the village of Benitses are serving incredible food so no point eating in the hotel! So the hotel looses out on this revenue! We talked to a lot of people and all said the same thing! We would have loved to enjoy the hotel restaurants and its views if it wasn’t for the lacklustre food choices whole time the restaurants empty ! Other than that … we absolutely enjoyed our stay and we will definitely think of coming back…

The hotel is not suitable for a short stay. You have to get to the sea by chalet with a very inconvenient schedule. The hotel has its own rules of stay, the dress code is different in all bars and restaurants. There are a lot of staff, but they are indifferent to visitors

The hotel was absolutely fabulous. The facilities are top of the range. The spa’s decor is absolutely beautiful and the ambience in there, as well as the beautiful treatment rooms are unsurpassed.
The hotel has a private beach with a shuttle service every 15 minutes which runs super smoothly. The infinity pool is really beautiful as well.
The rooms are big and spacious and the bathroom has a very modern, powerful shower which was great.
The staff are so kind and friendly and go above and beyond, such as personally showing you around and escorting you to your room at check in.
A fabulous experience! I will be back!

Absolutely incredible resort. We were made to feel exceptionally welcome from the minute we arrived. The views were incredible, the staff were warm, helpful and friendly, and we were even generously upgraded as it was a special occasion. The on-site restaurants were good, the food was perhaps not as spectacular as the setting, but the overall dining experience was top notch. The health spa is also the best I've ever visited - modern but tatsefully designed, comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommed this place, and definitely take a trip down to the private beach

It was a wonderful stay - beautiful facilities and great restaurants with excellent beverage options. Especially the desert dishes were outstanding. Spa was excellent too but the therapists were not as experienced as I expected. However, they were very well trained and extremely pleasant. The balcony of the room had a heavy sliding door we struggled to open, and we learned it is designed not to open from outside. So once you are sitting on the sofa on the balcony, you have to have someone else to open it for you from inside. We were trapped once and had to ask for the hotel staff's help. The private beach was wonderful and it had a nice beach bar. It was overall a great experience.

This is not a 5* hotel
The service was very poor. None of my emails in advance of our stay were answered. The check-in was slow. We were made promises which weren’t followed through with. We had asked for a late checkout. No one came back to us with an answer. At 10, the cleaner came into our room telling us we should have left at 9 when the normal check out is 11
The room was ok but large parts of the hotel were empty and characterless.
We won’t be returning

My boyfriend and I loved Angsana resort!! It was very clean and a beautiful place to stay. The view from the pool is absolutely amazing. The resort also had plenty of restaurants and bars. The staff are very welcoming and genuinely are there for your ever need. The area is very convenient, as it is close to corfu old town. I highly recommend Angsana resort if you are going to Kerkira, you will not regret it!!
