Stayed for 1 night on our way to Paxos.
It was very convenient for bus stop.
Bed was comfortable. Friendly staff.
Everything a bit dated but was a good price with free basic breakfast.

A gem of a hotel

I recently stayed at Pokamaki Beach Hotel and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Upon arrival, I was delighted to find that I had been given an amazing room with a stunning sea view. The scenery was breathtaking and truly added to the relaxation of my holiday.

What made my stay even more special was the thoughtful gesture by the hotel staff who celebrated my birthday with a cake and candles, all without me having to ask. It was a lovely surprise and made me feel incredibly welcomed and appreciated.

The atmosphere at Pokamaki Beach Hotel is warm and friendly, with staff who go above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable stay. The service was impeccable, and every interaction with the staff was pleasant and helpful.

Overall, Pokamaki Beach Hotel is a fantastic place to stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway by the sea. The combination of beautiful views, excellent service, and thoughtful gestures made my stay truly unforgettable.

El staff es lo mejor del hotel, todos son muy amables, el sr que esta todas las noches en la recepción nos ayudó para organizar el trip todos los dias y aprovechar al maximo nuestras vacaciones, realmente se lo agradecemos.

La posición es perfecta en frente esta la playa, el pueblito a 2 min a pie con muy buenos restaurantes, lugar perfecto para ir en familia. Con un scooter recorres muy bien la isla y los principales puntos de interés.

En general nuestra experiencia fue excelente.

Cons - very outdated, others traveling with us has several issues, the power/outlets were very weak. The hair dryer should not be listed as an amenity because it is so old it doesn’t work - I recommend bringing your own.

Hotel starší. Měli jsme rodinný pokoj, byl prostorný, terasa velká, ale sprcha byla nevyhovující a velmi malá. Pláž pěkná, moře čisté, ale cesta na něj vede přes rušnou silnici. Měli jsme auto, tudíž v hotelu i na pláži před hotelem jsme netrávili moc času. Jídlo průměrné, ale dalo se vybrat. Určitě bychom se už nevrátili.

There was an awful smell in the hallways and as you were lying at the pool.

This property is right across the beach and excellent for anyone just wanting a quiet local stay. There is entertainment some nights and some restaurants close by.It’s 30mins from Corfu Old Town so not great for partygoers

Stones throw from the sea no matter what room you get the view is stunning like the rest of the island

The breakfast is ok but less catering towards British tourists however tasty none the less

We were lucky to catch the northern soul not something I’m into but great people great music

It was a really nice hotel outside a stoney beach. The area is really clean with helpful people around.
The receptionists were really kind and helpful and answered all questions.
I would suggest going with mosquito cream/repellent as i got bites everywhere on my leg.
Overall, a pleasant stay.

Clean hotel, in front of the sea,good rooms but...

The room spacious and clean. The bathroom was good size but not very comfortable when taking a shower, as shower area was quite small and all the water was coming out on the floor and stayed there for ever as the bathroom drainage was a couple of metres away. Wasn't happy with the breakfast it was low quality. Also had a toasted sandwich when arrived and coffee, quality below average for Greece. Ordered two juices at the beach bar in front of the hotel and were like coloured water with ice and 1% concentrated juice.
Other than that hotel was not too bad for the price. It was clean, the towels provided were very nice and clean. Had a small fridge in the room. In front of the sea, just had to cross the road. Overall not bad but these small things with the food and the bathroom would have helped to score higher..Haven't seen how other rooms are, so cannot say.

The good part:
The breakfast is nice.
And the view was beautiful.
The location is not that close to anything but the bus is close by(don't count it to get to the airport if you leave early)

The bad part:
When we arrived at the front desk; the staff was very unfriendly and made us feel unwanted the first time I actually saw a smile was when I asked if they can order me a taxi to the airport when i checked-out.
We arrived at our room after a few hours because our flight arrived at the morning and the check in was a few hours later, when we got to room it was not what we ordered (I did receive a partial refund) and the bed was the least comfortable bed I have ever slept on it was so bad that at one point I slept on the floor because it was nicer.
The shower head was half broken you had to hold it in order for it to actually aim at you.

It also didn't include a closet or a water heater.
And the power was off if the card was not inside which is a problem if you are more than a single person.

Overall it was one of the worst experiences I have

Wonderful place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and and property, walking distance to restaurants and souvenir shops. Daily entertainment as well !! The beach in front of hotel is nice and clean and you can get a beach chair to spend the day !! I strongly recommend this hotel.

the hotel looked much nicer on the web, although saying that it probably is better than most hotels in Benites, shower was faulty and bed was firm, the other side of Corfu is where you want to stay

Lovely stay at Potamaki

We had a lovely 3 day/2 night stay at this hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms and receptions were clean and comfortable. Right on the beach, plenty of sun beds. Food was acceptable and relative for the price and size of the hotel. Would definitely return.

Staff were excellent.
Showers have not been updated for at least 30 years. My shower needed repair on arrival this took 24 hours.

The rooms are badly in need of upgrading. An oversize headboard surround had been fitted which made it impossible to reach the bedside switches without getting out of bed.

The food was some of the worst I have found in Corfu. Only 3 waiters/waitresses to look after approx. 50 tables. You have to find your own cutlery, serviettes & condiments, you would expect these to be on the table.

No towels are provided for the swimming pool.

The hotel is not bed, it is clean in good location,the breakfast is very good. But the beach is full with rocks the hotel furniture and hotel it self is old. So I am satisfied of the hotel at all.

Overall it was OK!

Don't get the hotel to order you a taxi to the airport... instead walk 500m (left) from hotel to the main square near the bus stop, there is a taxi rank and cab drivers that will use their meter. Cabs from this hotel charge a fixed price of 30 Euros... a local told us it should only cost 18 Euros... I think the hotel gets a cut of the fee for ordering from the reception... its such a rip off as its only a 12 minute cab ride.

If you are going to lie in a sun bed on the beach be warned the ones right in front of the hotel charge 6 Euros each to use... If you walk up the beach (right) about 200 metres from the hotel next to Hotel Euros two lovely ladies run a bar/cafe and when you buy a drink you can lie on the Sun Bed for free... We did this every day as we felt it was good value for money and could stay as long as we liked... they bring your drinks to you on the beach.

Sunshine Bar which was excellent, the most fabulous service we received during our stay. The man who runs it is lovely as makes the best Crepes and is SO cheap! Alex & Tonys restaurant was really nice too, really nice guys, great hospitality and delicious food - reasonable prices.

The hotel itself was honestly fine but not a hotel that wowed us enough to say we would go back again if we went back to this particular part of Corfu, we would probably want to try another. But it was cheap! This location in Corfu is great, friendly people, not too busy and NOT a party town just great to relax/unwind.

Zimmer waren sauber aber nicht unbedingt modern eingerichtet. Wir hatten ein Zimmer ohne Balkon gebucht, haben dann eins mit Balkon bekommen. Das war super.
Das Frühstück hat uns persönlich nicht unbedingt angesprochen aber es waren alle Basics da, wie Eier, Müsli, Früchte usw.
Das Hotel hatte direkt am Strand Liegen, das war super praktisch.
Vor dem Hotel ist eine Busstation, der Bus fährt regelmäßig Richtung Altstadt jedoch meist unpünktlich. An sich war alles ganz in Ordnung.

Sehr dünne Wände, das Telefon hat dreimal in der Nacht geklingelt und in unser Zimmer sind fremde Gäste mit ihrer Karte reingekommen. Ein sehr unangenehmer Moment. Die Aussicht war dafür sehr schön und das Personal an der Rezeption freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Die Unterkunft ist ein 3 Sterne Hotel mit Strand und einem Strand gegenüber.
An sich sehr schön allerdings nicht wirklich modern. Der Stil erinnert an frühe 2000er. Das Personal ist unglaublich nett! Sehr freundliche Angestellte.
Die Bushaltestelle ist 1 Minute Vom Hotel entfernt also ideal wenn man kein Auto hat. Der Bus fährt nach Korfu.
Frühstück ist ok aber durchaus nichts besonderes! Alles in allem ein angenehmen Hotel für Leute die morgens das Hotel verlassen und spätabends wiederkommen.
Für einen entspannten Aufenthalt würde ich etwas feineren empfehlen.

Bardzo przyjemny hotel, obsluga bardzo miła i pomocna, jedzenie pyszne - każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Co nas zaskoczyło to to że po przyjeździe około 12 w nocy w jadalni stała przygotowana dla nas kolacja.
Co do czystosci codziennie obsługa
sprzątała pokoje i łazienki, wymieniała ręczniki i pościel.
W pokoju darmowa klimatyzacja i lodówka co nie wszędzie się zdarza.

For the price it is a very nice hotel. A bit old, but the area was very nice. The beach was directly across the (busy) road, but very nice. Definitely the best in Benitses. We had a large room with views over the beach and sea. Hotel is very clean. However, pool was cold and the breakfast could be better. The selection was poor.

Der Service und die Mitarbeiter war sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer für einen Aufenthalt um nur dort zu schlafen ausreichend. Leider war es nachts und abends sehr laut durch andere Gäste des Hotels und durch die hellhörigkeit des Hotels. Nach dem betätigen der Toiletten Spüle lief sie ca 30 min lang nach und zwischendurch funktionierte sie nicht. Das Hotel liegt trotzdem sehr gut und war für uns vollkommen ausreichend da wir wirklich nur zum duschen und schlafen dort waren. Das Frühstück hatte sehr wenig Auswahl :(

W hotelu znajdują się przyjemne , klimatyzowane pokoje z łazienką i lodówką. Pokoje były codziennie sprzątane. Jedzenie smaczne, możliwość skosztowania dań greckich. Obiekt położony jest nad samym morzem z plażą żwirkową. Mimo Ze nie umiem pływać czułam się w morzu bezpiecznie. Morze było ciepłe i spokojne a plaża bez tłumów. Na plaży można znaleźć cień pod rozłożystymi eukaliptusami. Łatwo można dojechać komunikacją publiczną.

Gute Lage alles was man braucht zu Fuß erreichbar ,Super freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal,Sauberkeit überall außer der Pool könnte öfters gereinigt werden ( am Rand in den Gittern sehr schmutzig ,Wasser aber ok), Meerblick von Balkon/ Terasse ist wunderschön, Hotelbar ist auch super,
Preislich ist das Hotel auch absolut ok

- Das Essen war nicht besonders gut (zu wenig Auswahl ,warme Speisen teilweise kalt, Geschmack war mittelmäßig bis schlecht),
Betten haben ziemlich gequietscht und waren nicht besonders Bequem

Bonus Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Doppelbett reserviert und baten beim Checkin um ein Zustellbett für unser Kind .Anstatt von Zustellbett bekamen wir ein großes 4- Bett Zimmer mit Terasse und direktem Blick auf das Meer und das ohne Aufpreis! Das war wirklich sehr toll und freundlich!!!👍👍👍

Fazit: Wer nicht allzu viel erwartet ist hier super aufgehoben. Bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten ein toller Aufenthalt !!!👍

Travelling during covid is bit differenr,overal was amazing,not many ppl around.Staff were cleaning sunbeds aftera each use,rooms were disinfected but towel never changed.You have to wear mask in hotel reception also (not a problem),breafast is buffet with service.Beach amazing :)
