Bella Vista is a very friendly, clean and well run property. The staff is so nice and I was travelling for the first time as a single parent, but felt completely safe and comfortable.
The buffet breakfast is well organised and the food tweaked daily. Every taxi the staff organised for us arrived on time, was smart and had a friendly and knowledgeable driver. There are so many good places to eat in the vicinity and we enjoyed the going to the Avra bar and using their sunbeds and parasols, which are complimentary when purchasing food and drink. Would heartily recommend Bella Vista and will definitely go back.

This property and staff were really sweet. We were in and out because it was a quick overnight stay. We had stayed in the Pelekas area for three nights, and unfortunately Benitses was just not for us. Very crowded and touristy. Sadly, although our room was non-smoking, it really smelled of cigarettes and there was an ashtray on our balcony table, so could’ve just been because ppl can smoke outside. I will say again, everyone was very sweet, communication was easy and quick, and besides the smoke, the room was spacious and clean.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. From the room, to the location and the delicious breakfast. The management were excellent and the service was immaculate. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. And I will definitely be staying if I’m ever in Corfu again.

We loved our stay. Staff super friendly and it was nice they had a little breakfast in the morning. Online it says they have parking, but they do not. Pool is shared amongst other hotels, and is owned by another place thus you must spend $10 euro each on drinks to use the pool. Walkable location and close to many restaurants and shopping. Clean, safe and cute… all you need on a trip :)

Hidden gem!

Really enjoyed my stay. The customer service was the best I've ever had at a hotel of this size. It was a great location, the Greek breakfast buffet was excellent. The room was clean and tidy. The sheets and towels were quality and smelled good. The location was within walking distance of beach, tons of places to eat, near tourist organizers, car rentals and a grocery store.

I definitely plan to stay here again when i return to Corfu.

My experience at the Bella Vista was very positive. As per many of the other reviews the staff deserve high praise - from the moment you arrive you are made to feel welcome and provided with map, bus timetables and a cold glass of water if you require them. They also offered me a choice of rooms and allowed me to view them before deciding. The front desk is available 24 hours. As is so common in life it is the little things and small displays of kindness that make the difference.
The hotel location is very good - there are restaurants, bus stops, car rental places and supermarkets all within 50-100m of the property. The beach is also just across the road. The marina area which also has many restaurants is a 5-10 minute walk.
The hotel is comprised of 3 buildings - the main hotel which is connected to the main lobby, a block of studio apartments about 50m up the hill and a second block of 4 apartments (the Frida block) which is a 2 minute walk away.
I stayed in the Frida block so can only comment on this. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony which caught the morning sun. The kitchenette and bathroom were recently updated so were modern and worked well. The apartments are located on the second floor and are very quiet - you cannot hear any noise from the road when the balcony door is closed.
The breakfasts are very good with a nice variety to choose from including traditional Greek food.

The room was very clean and well taken care of (unlike a lot of 2 star hotels). The staff was a pleasure to be around and the service was excellent. The breakfast was better than your average intercontinental breakfast, they had homemade pies everyday (different types every day) yumm! Along with other breakfast items, some local to the area. The parking was a bit “far” (4 min walk) but we were able to drop off and pick up our luggage by driving up to the front. We would stay there again :)

Decent hotel for the area, but small balconies

This hotel is very highly rated by other websites for the area, but to be honest, it may be a bit over-rated. Rooms are sparse and the balconies are too small. Not much of a sea view either (they are a bit too far away from the beach for a real sea view). That said, it is just a 1 minute walk to the beach and the staff are very helpful and always accessable. I just think there may be better, bigger rooms in Benitses for the same price or a tiny bit more, with real sea views and bigger balconies, so do your research.

We liked the presentation of the property, the service for cleaning, changing bedding etc and the kitchenette facilities for making tea/coffee etc. The staff were invariably friendly and helpful. The location was brilliant - very close to beach, shops and restaurants with only a short walk to the village for more choice. Bus stops almost on the doorstep and very friendly bar opposite. With lots of sun and clear seas, what more could you want?

Although listed with 2 stars on Expedia this belies the true experience of this hotel, the staff are the nicest, most helpful and friendly people you are likely to meet and if a hotel could be rated just on the holiday experience given then it would be 5 stars.

We enjoyed our stay from the moment we arrived and were so sad to leave.The breakfasts were superb and varied and the servicing or the rooms was first class.

My wife and I would like to thank you for making our holiday so very special really hope to return one day to see you all again.

Sweet hotel near beach

This is a charming hotel with great staff right near the beach. I spent five days there with my 19 yr old granddaughter as we toured the area. Although they don’t have their own pool they have an arrangement with the hotel right across the street (we stayed in the back building) so that as a guest you can also use their pool. As a courtesy we are asked to buy a drink at their bar but that was a great way to spend a leisurely afternoon. It was a quiet time of year so they offered us a choice of rooms and we chose a studio which we were very happy with. The staff was very welcoming and had good recommendations for local restaurants. It’s not a super fancy place but charming and clean and friendly. I would recommend it highly.

Who would have thought that a small sign on the main road in Benitses, Corfu, could be hiding such an oasis of charm? Yes, we do mean charm. This small family-run hotel is an absolute jewel in Corfu's crown in a lovely, peaceful setting, hidden amongst family villas with beautiful gardens. The owners and staff are really charming; not only do they go out of their way to provide for your every comfort, they also act as your very own tourist information office! The rooms are well-equipped, with extra finishing touches like tea & coffee-making facilities and toiletries, so you don't even need to bring your own hair dryer! The nearby pool and café are a must - you simply buy a few drinks or food to cover the cost of using their spotlessly-clean pool and sunbeds. Also try the Big Bite restaurant directly opposite on the main road - the food is superb, especially the fish. Everyone we met were either returning guests or, like us, planning to return. Thank you, Team Bella Vista for a wonderful, much-needed holiday!

Cannot praise this place enough! Staff are always friendly and helpful, for example my daughter need to use the computer to complete some important paperwork and this was provided free of charge . From the moment we were greeted with much needed cold water and flannels until the moment we were given shower facilities with towels and somewhere to store our luggage on the day we left, nothing was too much trouble. As others have said, some 4 star hotels struggle with this kind of attention to detail ! Breakfasts were always different and delicious and rooms were cleaned every day including Sunday. We were given relevant local advice and recommendations from reception. We visited Corfu town, Paleokastrista which is a must and Mouse island which is delightful.

A little slice of heaven

Myself and my fiancee have just got back yesterday from the beautiful island of Corfu. We stayed at the Bella Vista hotel in Benitses for seven nights and I can't recommend this hotel enough. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with smiles and a cool face towel to freshen up and a cold glass of water. As we were in Corfu towards the end of the season (which is great time to go) we had a choice of rooms, all of them very clean and tidy. We chose one of the studio apartments which has a hob to cook on and a fridge for keeping the water, beer and wine cool. We also had a veranda with a view to mountains which was beautiful. Breakfast was traditionally Greek which a choice of cereals, cheese, meats, eggs and lovely cakes, perfect to set you up for the day. The room was kept beautifully clean every day and towels were changed every two days. The room also included air conditioning which we never used (it didn't get that hot in October), a TV and good WIFI reception. If you have roaming with your mobile network then the data coverage in Corfu was great, not 4G but adequate for checking email etc. On leaving the hotel we were given a present which was a really nice touch. We were also given delicious cakes and coffee at no extra cost. I honestly cannot fault this hotel and it's staff. It was better than just being known as a room number like you are in other hotels. I would highly recommend the Bella Vista hotel to everyone, you will not be sorry you stayed here. Thank you.

We were greeted on our arrival and our room was ready despite arriving earlier than plan. Throughout our stay all the staff were friendly and we were given tips on where to eat, how to speak Greek and how to catch the buses. The housekeeping was exceptional and again friendly and having a fridge and kettle in the room was really useful for us to keep water and snacks in. Breakfast was delicious and a really good way to start the day - We never felt rushed and all the staff were very friendly and efficient . The hotel is close to the beach and a 2 minute walk to Benitses with plenty of bars and restaurants.

\"The hospitality is second to none and for the two weeks I stayed there I could not have been more content. From the offer of a cold glass of water and cold face cloth to cool down while checking- in the owners tried hard to make this a welcome to remember. My ground floor room was perfect being of good size with a double bed, fair sized bathroom and a small kitchen area with fridge, hob, kettle and toaster. As it was actually in the Villa Maria Olga which is one of the hotel's other buildings grouped around the hotel itself it had the added bonus of being very quiet as I wanted to spend time writing during the holiday. It didn't have much of a view - over a small, well kept garden and the back of an adjacent building but the first floor rooms maybe had a better view. It was kept spotless throughout the holiday and was a welcoming place to come after a day out travelling or lying on the nearby beach. I only had the buffet breakfast 3 times but enjoyed it a lot (I don't eat breakfast normally). If you want to take breakfast it offered a good range of meat/ cheese/ fruit/ yoghurt/ toast/ tea/ coffee and at 6 euros per day not extortionate. I thought the care and affection which the family team devote to their guests was superb. Lashings of hot water all the time. Fantastic. Lovely verandah and my neighbours were also very pleasant. As for location, also excellent only 100 metres from the beach. It is to be thoroughly recommended (and thank you for my gift!!)

Lovely hotel, very close to the beach

Staff were most welcoming. Room was basic but very clean. Bathroom was very clean, and lovely view of the sea from the balcony. Breakfasts were great, good variety.
Area is very, very quiet. Perfect for 3 days relaxing, but I think we'd go somewhere a little more lively next time :) However the hotel was brilliant, can't fault it and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Perfect location close to the beach

We had a fabulous time at the Bella Vista! Our room had it's own garden with beautiful plants and flowers... the breakfast, although simple was tasty and plenty of it, much better than anticipated. The staff cannot do enough for you, they offer a packed lunch to the beach if you miss breakfast and we got a lovely bottle of wine from Maria on our last night. Thank you so much for making our stay so perfect!

Stayed here in April 2013 before the season had begun so the town of Benitses was 'shut' apart from one or two good restaurants. The beach is very near but is really a narrow strip of pebbles by the main road and so we hired a car and found some stunning paradise beaches 30 minutes away. The location of the hotel is pretty - up a little lane with lovely houses and overlooked by stunning mountains. Lovely woodland nearby very peaceful and tranquil with orange and lemon trees. Nearby are the ruins of a Roman bath house. The hotel rooms are brightly decorated and stencilled and contained sweet touches such as cuddly toys on the beds. Very basic kitchen with kettle and a few utensils and bathroom small with good hot shower but seemed to get waterlogged easily after showering. The rooms were cleaned every day and the staff (family run business) were lovely, welcoming, kind and generous and often left cake or brioche in our room. Not luxurious but adequate. Make sure you get a room whose balcony gets the sun - these are at the rear of the hotel. Corfu is fabulous and if you just need a clean adequate base to stay while you go exploring, it's great, if you want to relax by a pool and hang out in luxury this isn't for you (no pool anyway!). I'd give it 4/10 for comfort but 8/10 for service.

Hotel Belle Vista was perfect for what my partner and I were looking for. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and made us feel relaxed and at home.
The room was cleaned daily and the breakfast was very tasty.
We had a room with a beautiful mountain view, the hotel is just off the main road so is still quite at night.
I would definitely go back. Perfect for a cheap getaway.

This hotel is a paradise

I stayed with my boyfriend almost a weeks in this hotel. The room is excellent nice and clear. No spider, ant, or any small animals. The housekeeper staffs came every day and cleaned our room. The A/C is FREE, because another hotel charges 5-8 euro/day. The breakfast is rich, so many traditional cookies and cakes, and all you can eat service. And finally the staffs are great. Always helpful, kind and friendly. If you looking for a great nice and quiet hotel, now you have found one.

This was definitely a very friendly hotel. The staff (mainly young people) was really helpfull, showing us where to go, which restaurant was the best, which beach was worth to discover. Coffee in the morning was perfect and we did appreciate the home made cakes.. Nothing to complain about except people making noise when coming back late in the evening... Siamo alla nostra seconda esperienza al Bella Vista di Benitses, l’ospitalità di Anthea è sempre qualcosa di meraviglioso ed è per questo che ogni volta che ne abbiamo la possibilità, torniamo a “casa”, quest’anno con la piacevolissima sorpresa nell’aver trovato un manager come Gianluigi che nella nostra piccola dissaventura di salute (purtroppo non è stata per me perfetta in quanto arrivato e ripartito con febbre alta)ci sono stati vicini, ricoprendoci di tutte le attenzioni possibili, anche di averci mandato un medico in camera, non so quanti lo avrebbero fatto, per cui mi sentirò sempre di consigliare loro, perché con il loro affetto,ti fanno sentire veramente a casa… Il mare ed il contesto, parla da sè… E non finisce qui!

On arrive du Bella Vista et franchement, on a beaucoup aimé! On y est restés 13 nuits. La localisation est parfaite, sur une rue animée avec boutiques et restos. La chambre et la salle de bain sont d’une bonne grandeur et le lit est tres confortable. On avait loué une voiture et Benitses est un bon point de départ pour visiter l’île. Le seul point qu’on trouve négatif, c’est le prix du déjeuner. 18 euros par personne par jour, nous qui sommes canadien, ça revient à 30$ CAD par personne, ce qui est extrêmement cher. On a été très bien reçus , l’équipe est super gentille tout le staff est sympathique, à l’écoute souriants big up au jeunes stagiaires qui font un excellent travail. Le service est top.
L’hôtel bien localisée en bord de mer, plusieurs commerces à proximité, le petit déjeuner est complet, et délicieux.

Durant notre voyage, début avril, c'est un endroit simple et propre, dans un village calme. Le personnel de l'hôtel est très accueillant, ils nous reconnaissent et nous saluent à chaque passage devant l'hôtel.
Nous étions dans un des studios. C'était propre, les installations sont un peu vieillotes, la tuyauterie fuyait un peu dans la salle de bain, il manquait une poignée sur un tiroir. Très sincèrement, cela ne gâche pas le voyage. Il faut se dire que tous les clients ne sont pas forcément très soigneux et que ce n'est pas la faute de l'hôtel. De même, jusqu'à 22-23h, certains clients faisaient beaucoup de bruit, le studio n'est pas très bien isolé mais si tout le monde respectait l'espace de chacun, il n'y aurait pas besoin d'isoler les studios.
La première nuit, il faisait froid, nous avons tenté d'envoyer un message à la réception pour demander une couverture, vers 23h. Immédiatement, quelqu'un nous a apporté deux couvertures malgré l'heure tardive.
Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de notre passage à l'hôtel Bella Vista.

Ottimo hotel, stanze spaziose e sempre pulite. Posizione ottima in centro al paese di Benitses con tutti i servizi (minimarket, affitta auto e moto, ristoranti, spiaggia) e a soli 20 minuti da corfu town.
Colazione ottima e molto varia con presenza di dolce e salato.
Alla reception tutti sono disponibili per qualsiasi informazione e necessità, possibilità di parlare anche in italiano.
Consigliatissimo!

Es war wirklich Sehr schön in Benitses! Die unterkunft war von der ausstattung her völlig ausreichend aber jetzt nichts luxuriöses. Aber völlig ausreichend, es ist dort trotzdem sehr sauber und die Mitarbeiter:innen sind alle sehr sehr lieb! Gerne wieder!

Ich schreibe sehr selten Bewertungen, aber hier waren wir so begeistert, dass ich es an andere Urlauber weitergeben möchte!
Wir kamen viele Stunden vor dem eigentlichen Check in und wollten nur darum bitten, unsere Koffer abstellen zu dürfen.
Stattdessen wurden wir mit einer Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundlichkeit empfangen, die seinesgleichen sucht!! Es gab erfrischende kalte Tücher, kaltes Wasser, Kaffee und Kuchen und unser Zimmer konnten wir auch sofort beziehen.
So einen herzlichen Empfang mit so vielen Annehmlichkeiten habe ich nicht mal in 4 oder 5 Sterne-Häuser erlebt!
Einfach nur toll. Wir haben den ganzen Aufenthalt so empfunden. Ein tolles Team, eine hervorragende Rezeption, die einem freundlich und herzlich mit Rat und Tat zur Seite steht!
Das Frühstück war lecker und abwechslungsreich, das Zimmer groß und geräumig und der Service und die Freundlichkeit haben 10 Sterne verdient.
Wir sagen danke und kommen gerne wieder!

Personale molto disponibile e cordiale, stanza ok anche se no ho gradito i letti singoli uniti ...scomodi...l assenza di oscuranti alla finestra( anche se é una cosa comune dell' isola) nella mia camera la bella vista non c'era, purtroppo i prezzi nell' isola sono aumentati parecchio per me qualità prezzo non vale ma é in linea con Corfù, colazione ok cucina in camera e aria condizionata ottima

Usædvanligt venligt personale og fantastisk servic

Især personalet er helt særligt på dette hotel. Ualmindeligt opmærksomme og venlige smat fantastisk service.
Meget fornem morgenmad. Man skal ikke blive forskrækket over “græsk” morgenmad, for der er også æg, tomat, syltetøj og meget mere. De serverer mange lokale retter til morgenmad og der skiftes mellem retterne. Et hotel som er værd at besøge. Kedelig strand

Wir haben selten so freundliches Personal im Hotel erlebt. Das Frühstück war klasse und vor allem regional. Yummy! Das Zimmer bzw. das ganze Hotel wraen super sauber. Der große Parkplatz im Ort war zwar ein ganzes Stückchen weg, aber wir haben dort immer einen Parkplatz gefunden. Das einzig kleine Manko war der Duschvorhang. Die Dusche war ohnehin sehr klein und mit dem Vorhang, der dann immer kuscheln kam, konnte man sich kaum bewegen. Das Bad haben wir dadurch mit jedem Duschvorgang geflutet. :-D

Wir hatten Zimmer außerhalb von Hotel,Zimmer war sauber und gut funktionierende Klima.Leider war die Aussicht von Balkon auf eine Baustelle und morgens Lärm .Frühstück war gut und abwechslungsreich (leider keine Selbstbedienung).Strand und Pool sind in unmittelbarer Nähe.Gutes essen in Tavernen auch vorhanden .

Ottima soluzione per qualità prezzo

Hotel a conduzione famigliare. Trascorse 6 notti. Grande cortesia riservataci dal personale e dai giovanissimi apprendisti (da qui il nome \"studio\") presenti in sala colazione. Un particolare ringraziamento alle 2 ragazze italiane (una veneziana) per il loro aiuto nel farci comprendere gli ingredienti dei piatti presenti in sala. Pulizia e Wifi ad ottimo livello. Aria condizionata al top, funziona anche come deumidificatore (occorre tenere finestre chiuse). Colazione con piatti locali che cambiano ogni giorno, no croissant e bacon, ma cakes e torte, dolci e salate. Quando siamo arrivati ci hanno fatto scegliere tra 2 camere ancora libere: abbiamo apprezzato, così come sono stati graditi e inaspettati gli omaggi locali e i gadgets al check out. Il frigo in camera è stupendo. Alto quasi un metro, con reparto freezer, è molto capiente, può accogliere molte bottiglie. Comodo il piccolo balcone con fili per stendere abbigliamento ad asciugare. Aggiungerei in camera attacchi elettrici e metterei tavolo più grande, lo spazio in camera lo permette. Hotel consigliato per rapporto qualità prezzo, fermata del bus 6 che porta a Corfù a pochi metri, parcheggio pubblico ampio con vista mare 200 metri più avanti, non ho lasciato l'auto affittata nella strada principale perché troppo trafficata. A Benitses molti ristoranti e taverne più economici che a Corfù. Anche bar restaurant come Barbayiannis (a pochi metri) con qualità dei cibi e dei drinks eccezionale, consiglio almeno una visita!

The PERFECT STAY !!

What a wanderful stay !!!
The hotel is perfectly located : at the feet of a hill covered of woods, it is less than 5 minutes walk from the beach (cristal water) and from the city center (plenty of tasty restaurants and bars)
But the most beautiful opinion goes to the warm welcome and treatment we recevied from Anna, Joanna and Cristina.
The are such amazing, wonderful and nice hosts!!!
They arranged every thing for us : they booked our taxi from the aiport to the hotel; then they booked for us a car when we wanted to visit the island. They found a clinic and booked a molecolar Covid Test for us to take. And again they gave us a beach umbrella for free.
Thank you so much for all your assistance !!
The hotel : the bedrooms are large, clean and well equipped (stove, cutlery and pans are included). The bed is comfortable, shower is hot, washrooms are clean. All safaty mesures are respected.
The breakfast is tasty with fresh fruits, salty and sweets typical greek dishes. The yogurt is divine!
We highly recommend this hotel to everybody, from couples to entire families. You will find it, the village of Benitses and the Isle of Corfu, really a great place where to spend holidays after the long lockdown.

Excellent séjour . Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins et font tout leur possible pour vous rendre le séjour agréable; par exemple panier petit déjeuner personnalisé lors d'un départ tôt le matin, informations de tous genres ( transports en commun, plans détaillés etc...) Nous retournerons avec plaisir dans cet établissement.
