The hotel is located in Zirl, the largest village in the Innsbruck-West holiday region. It is set at the heart of the Inn valley, at the foot of the Zirler Berg mountain, and is renowned for its Christmas cribs as well as being the only wine village in Northern Tyrol.
Links to public transport (the bus station) and bars can be found in the vicinity. The nearest nightlife opportunities are about a 10-minute drive away.
The train station is 4 km away. Innsbruck, the Olympic city and capital of the federal state of Tyrol, is located 10 km away, while the Olympic skiing-area Seefeld is 15 km away.

Located in Zirl, and easily accessible by public transport from Innsbruck (~20 min), this is a great hotel in a scenic location. We had a double room and the views from the balcony were beautiful! Staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English.

Gorgeous hotel, it was hot (and smelt like a sauna due to the wooden room :) ) when we arrived at midnight, but it had massive windows to open. Had a junior suite I think, with 2 bedrooms, living area & big bathroom.
Only downside would have been a kettle/drinks, but everything else was great, with a lovely breakfast spread

There is no real dining available at the property except for Breakfast. Plus it is not available on Monday and Tuesday as the restaurant is closed.
There is another restaurant directly opposite one block which provides Italian cuisine mainly and is open till 9 pm for the last kitchen order.
The room provided was nice but claustrophobic with minimal ventilation and a small sit out with no view and could not be opened.
We liked the quaint location and the very helpful and friendly receptionist.

I decided to book this for an impromptu trip, and I was not disappointed! Wonderful from the moment I walked into the door until I left. There is a restaurant onsite, which is very tasty. The views from the rooms are to die for.
The only thing I can think of that was even slightly negative (which it really wasn't) was the bed was a little more firm than I am used to. Some people might enjoy that - it just took me a night to adjust to compared to my bed at home.
I am already looking to book again for a family trip!

This was one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. From the ornate exterior to the finely furnished hallways and bedrooms wrought in finely carved wood. Against the backdrop of the Tyrolean mountains and the quaint village of Zirl, this hotel is a must if you’re in the area. Plus, the in-house restaurant, Restaurant Maximilian, was absolutely exquisite—Try the beef tartare, treat yourself!

Photos didn’t show old and non-renovated units, we found out that our unit is not renovated when we got there. We had to pay €100 to upgrade to a renovated unit that matched the pictures shown on Expedia.

This hotel has been perfect for our stay at Carpigiani Gelato U. Reasonable prices, clean, friendly & helpful staff, breakfast with a lot of variety including fresh fruit & vegetables. There is air conditioning but it is not very cool even on the high setting. We are from the US and I usually find the air conditioning in public spaces to be too cold. I think for me I prefer something in the middle of here and there!

This hotel is situated on the outskirts of Zirl on way to Innsbruck. Bus station was within eady walk and ran regularly but check return times as ours stopped at 18:30 😲. Also to note restaurant was not open Mondays and Tuesdays. Hotel staff were really friendly, breakfast was perfect for us. Very traditional which was what we were looking for. Would recommend.

The facade is unimposing, but the inside of the rooms are wonderful. Wooden floors, large windows, comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, good curtains, and we never heard anyone else our entire stay. We loved it! The staff was always polite and pleasant. The drive up to Seefeld slopes was always easy and about 15 minutes. We would certainly return!

Cool alpine hotel with views on two sides of the hotel, which is hard to come by. I was pleasantly surprised at the physical location of the hotel. The hotel itself was clean and elegant in the common areas. The room was decent, but the lighting wasn’t great and the shower was tiny. We stayed for a visit to Innsbruck and the commute wasn’t too bad. Worth the free parking I’d say. I’d definitely stay again!

Very cute guest house. Service was great, and it's super convenient to have the restaurant downstairs for a good breakfast and dinner. The one downside is the rooms can get hot at night if you don't have a fan or open the windows. There were fire works going off at 6am for some reason and we couldn't keep the windows open.

This is a new hotel built in traditional style. You know you are in Austria and that is a good thing. The overall decor is beautiful and relaxing and our room was very comfortable. Personnel are friendly and professional.Top marks all around.
We used it as a stopover between Germany and Italy and it was very convenient to the highways. As well, it would make a good base for visiting Innsbruck. Leave your car and take the bus in. Tip: petrol is much cheaper in Austria than in Germany or Italy. Fill up near the hotel.

It is nice hotel with relatively spacious rooms and located in a peaceful place not far from msin highway. However with global warming now an undeniable fact, this hotel should have been able to provide fans. Understood that their might br justification for not having air conditioning. But with temperatures well above 30, fans should be a must.

A really nice hotel well placed and great view's,I was met with a warm welcome by staff which was a great start to my holiday.I found room really nice with a mini bar a safe and a tv and radio,The Restaurant served really nice food and i just loved there dishes,There was a nice bonus of a free bus pass so a free ride into Innsbruck was nice.The local shops where about five minutes away.So for me a great holiday and i hope to return next year so five stars from me.

The hotel was very nice! It had a \"look\" befitting to the Austrian environs. Lots of wood and nice ambience in the public and room spaces. The hotel restaurant was very good for supper as the follow-on breakfast the next morning. Hotel staff were very pleasant and attentive.

The restaurant had good food for dinner, though breakfast was a bit limited (nothing hot). The big issue here though were the incessant flies. Outside doors to the restaurant were always open (no AC) and we were constantly bothered by flies while we ate.

This is an old hotel with the most beautiful dining room. The only resins it doesn't get big marks form me is that the rooms are very tiny. We were hard pressed to find a place for two suitcases.
