This hotel would beat almost any place anywhere!

ONe of those places where you are frustrated the scale stops at 5. Faultless. Wonderful, friendly people. Amazing gardens and location. Dinner was delicious, with some delicious wine. Breakfast too was superb. We even had the waiter come to our room in advance to ask how we liked our steaks! Not to mention discovering the 15 year old Glenmorangie behind the bar at a very reasonable price. Our laundry we done perfectly in just a couple of hours. If ever you had doubts about the possible expereince travelling in Lesotho then this is the ultimate proof positive!

I guess in this part it does not get cold. Room was not warm enough due to unsesesonably cold weather. Heater was not big enough to keep the room warm. Otherwise great place to stay.

Booked my mother here for her vacation. She doesn't drive and they helped to pick her up at the airport and drop off..i wanted to surprise her with a spa and they referred me to a wonderful Juju Beauty spa who did an excellent job too....thank you so much to the staff for good communication and very helpful

Mountain view was so refreshing

The place was so amazing , clean, the mountain view and friendly staff. Everything was perfect including breakfast, if they can try to fix the wifi cause it was so frustrating but other than that the place is perfect. Thanks.

Very good place to stay in or around Maseru. Better than any hotels. Very good value for money considering the good service and good clean status of Botleng B&B in general. Wi-Fi a bit suspect, but that is really a minor issue for considering the rest of the advantages staying here.

It's in kind of a rough neighborhood but once inside the walls, it could not be lovelier. Large classy well kept room. Everything clean and one feels very safe. Large rose garden and extensive grounds kept to the highest European standard. Staff are most friendly and helpful. An excellent value for the $$.

Unbelievable experience! Botleng is a jewel in the rough. An oasis. Of our entire trip throughout South Africa and Lesotho, our 1-night stay here was the most relaxing and enjoyable. The staff, the view, facilities, evening barbeque....all unbelievable. on my next trip, I will be sure to stay here longer. You will be doing yourself an injustice not to stay here when passing through Lesotho.

Fantastic gardens and good service

Check-in and check-out were very easy and very quick. All staff members we came across were very friendly and helpful. The gardens were fantastic and had good views of the mountain. The room was clean and modern. The room was spacious and had a refrigerator but there was no telephone in the room to communicate with staff for service. We were given 200 MB per person complimentary wi-fi. The quality of sleep was good although we were irritated by the duvet cover which had a very bad smell from sweating and some blood stain. Bath towels were of good quality and bedroom slippers were available in the room. Breakfast was acceptable, for a guest house although they took very long time to serve. Parking was for free but the cars were parked on a dusty area which was not paved. Flies and mosquitoes were also irritating but the hotel provided insecticide.

Highly recommended

We very much enjoyed the guest house as it is located close to Maseru but in a quiet area. The guest house is very nice with a beautiful garden and pool :)
Staff is very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner there and enjoyed everything. The food was extremely good and they offer perfect service.
We would definitely recommend this place :)

Hidden paradise outside Maseru

A beautiful hide-away for relaxing and resting. Everyone on the staff, from the owner to housekeeping, was courteous and helpful. I enjoyed my stay there and would happily do so again.
Make sure to take the drive from the Botleng Guest House through the mountains to Semongkong. It’s such a beautiful drive on a good road. About 3 hours round trip.

We had difficulty finding the place due to taking a wrong turn. The owner drove in to town to guide us to the guesthouse.
We moved round Lesotho for a week , and this was the best quality accommodation by some distance .
Very handy for Thaba Bosiu .
The only issue was the noise of the fridge in the room . I guess I should have unplugged it !

Botleng is one of the best places I've ever stayed. The staff was phenomenal in their attentiveness to their clients' needs. The food was plentiful and delicious. The entire property is meticulously maintained. Any question or issue was immediately dealt with.

Quiet compound just outside Maseru

Spacious, comfortable and well-appointed rooms in a quiet walled compound a little ways outside of Maseru, towards the airport. The friendly staff arranged a delicious supper for us on late notice, and the delightful couple who own the guest house came by to chat with us over dinner. Definitely a place I would stay again, though its distance from the city centre could be an impediment, particularly at rush hour.

A true gem!

It was an all too brief stay at Botleng. It is a beautiful hotel in a lovely quiet location with mountain views. Definitely the right place to stay in Maseru as you plan your adventure into Lesotho. It is just 30 minutes drive from the airport. Very friendly and kind staff. I'd definitely stay here again.

Nice and quiet stay with good breakfast

We had a lovely stay at this guest house for 2-3 nights when visiting Lesotho. The scenery is amazing and the breakfast and dinners were great.

The negatives were that the entrance to the guest house was from the back and there is no real road. Housekeeping also opened the windows in our room and put our belongings under the window, and it started raining so our backpacks with clothes got wet. Luckily the backpack with our laptops did not get wet.

Outstanding Guesthouse outside Maseru!

The Botleng Guesthouse represents one of the best places to stay in Maseru, maybe in all of Leshoto. It is located about 15 km south east of
the capital in the lovely and quite countyside overlooking the national monument, Thaba Bosiu.

It boasts fantastic service and exhudes genuine friendliness. It is a clean, efficient and hospitable place. As it is about 20 minutes drive from the center of Maseru, they conviniently, serve very tastefull dinners every night at 19.00. Breakfast is also great.

Without a car I was afraid of getting stuck, but my logistical predicament was quickly solved with the assistance of Tsepe‘s Travel,Shuttle & Tours. The owner, Michael Ts’epe, showed me around two days in a row, and also provided transportation overland to Johannesburg. Wunderschönens Guesthouse in ruhiger Lage Nähe der Hauptstadt. Zuvorkommendes, freundliches Personal und hervorragende Küche.
Der Eigentümer leistet hervorragende Arbeit seinen Gästen die Kultur und Lebensweise des Landes näherzubringen.Sehr zu empfehlen ist der 10 km Morning Walk mit ihm.

Tout le personnel est vraiment très agréable. Brian nous donne d’excellents conseils sur les visites à faire. On se sent vraiment invité, pas juste client. Côté confort tout est là, la couverture chauffante est un plus. Un lieu à recommander très fortement!

Enorme Hilfsbereitschaft des Hotelmanagers. Wir wurde bei einbrechender Dunkelheit, nach einer 12 stüdigen Fahrt durch Lesotho an einer nahegelegenen Kreuzung abgeholt, um das guesthouse schneller finden zu können! Großartig!

Very nice hotel outside Maseru

Great service at arrival. They went \"the extra mile\" to take care of me.. The next day I got a great tip from the hosts of a scenic route to drive and experience. To bad they forgot to tell me that I needed to order dinner early in advance if I wanted any.. I was a bit hungry that evening. Be sure to ask for the password to the wifi which works! This is a very nice place once you find it!:-)

施設はいいけど

清潔感があり広く快適でした。冷蔵庫もあり、ほぼ不自由はありませんでした。ただ朝食の準備が遅く、カビの生えたトーストが出てきました。また、Wi-Fiは部屋でははいりませんし、天気次第のようで曇っているだけで使い物になりませんでした。夜でも電気を煌煌とつけているので夜景は期待できません。
