We spent a LOT of money on cleaning supplies.

There was a chemical smell that made sitting outside a better option.

And if you had the guts to not sleep in your full clothes to avoid bed bugs you think like me.

Not recommending when your in town for a PG tournament.

The blanket on the bed was old, worn, and ripped. No hand towels were provided. The bath tub had a steady drip of water (which is wasting countless amounts of water) and intead of repairing it housekeeping just plugs the drain so a water stain is avoided. Speaking of water- after we arrived, we awoke to no water and we had a funeral we were getting ready to attend. As luck would have it, it was pouring rain that day and we were made to gather all of our things , load them into the car, and drive down the road to another hotel to borrow a room to get ready in. BTW given the choice I would have rather just stayed in the borrowed room. It was nicer and slightly lower priced.
The moral of the story is you definitely get what you pay for. The manager did not seem very apologetic for the extreme inconvenience and didn't offer any type of compensation or discount. I have a lot of family in that area and I definitely won't stay there again.

The wifi would not work. They call you at 8am to remind you of check out. People sleep on vacation. No need for a call at 8 am. Not a bad place if you just need to have a place to put your head. A little overpriced for not getting much in return. Also gave only shampoo and no conditioner. That was a nightmare 😂

Run and don’t look back

I’m felt very unsafe when we arrived. Caution tape on the railing on the 3rd floor. The doors didn’t seem to seal closed properly. Men sitting outside blaring Hispanic music with no care there were little kids in the room next to them. The bathroom has mold and some that looked to be “cleaned” up. Dirty or maybe just stained towels/washcloths. The tv would play a show or movie I was told must be dish problem that it’s a smart tv and I should screen cast from my phone yet my phone couldn’t find the tv. The ac barely cooled the room even on 70. To use the pillow you had to roll it into a ball. Four people, 2 adults and two kids and all we could get was two towels and two washcloths. I couldn’t understand the people behind the counter that was behind plexiglass. We spent most of our time away from the hotel. The time we did spend there we had a chair wedged under the door handle. Lamps were stained and rusty. The toilet seat wasn’t screwed on correctly, we fixed that. The remote has crude on it. The only light in the bathroom is as the mirror and the exhaust fan barely ran. Looks like burn holes from cigarettes in the blankets and the shower curtain had holes in it.

Adequate, but no continental breakfast

We only needed one night to stay before an early morning activity. We had a few options and chose this place because the room description said it included a continental breakfast. At check-in, we asked what time breakfast was available, and were told there is no breakfast. We would have chosen another place if we knew that. Thankfully there's a WAWA right across the street where we got coffee and breakfast sandwiches. This is an okay place, clean and comfortable, just don't book for breakfast.

The staff were pleasant. The bathroom light and hair dryer did not work however, and my door lock battery died the night before my leave. Which left us with wet hair the whole night. Good delivery services nearby, but busy road all hours of the night.

If I was not charged for 2 rooms, when I reserved only 1, I would go back, it was very nice, but being charged for 2 rooms and not working with me to resolve it until after I left the property and was late for the reason why I was in the area, for this reason alone, i feel the customer service should have been more amicable. Now I have to wait 5 days for a refund.

When I came back that night, after a long day of traveling from multiple places, my key 🔑 to the room didn't work. So I went to the rental office to get another key, and when I've tried that key, it didn't work either. It took 3 tries and a third trip to the office to finally 🙄 open the door to the room! The office attendant seems to look lethargic, hanged over and didn't even paid attention to what he was doing. That was the most inconvenience I've ever experienced at the hotel. I never had this problem with any of the hotels I've been to until this one!😡

This Hotel is average and being there for only 2 Nights was tolerable. But what I disliked was the weak Wifi connectivity available. And the worst was that the bathroom tub was badly clogged so when you shower the soapy water just stayed in the tub. That wasn’t nice.

Overall clean and decent for the price. Rolling chairs in the room are not a great idea when you are on the ground floor and hear them rolling all night long above. Would suggest bringing a blanket. I did not stay at the property. I registered. The property charged me. My husband and I went into the room and left. I will be seeking a refund. After witnessing - and ignoring - the drug dealers in the parking lot, we found the room disgusting. The property should be closed by the board of health. I have pictures of the mold hanging from the ceiling, the feces on the wall, the mold and unidentifiable substances spattered everywhere. The broken plumbing. Just no. I am shocked this property received a 3.6 out of 5 - and that Expedia permits it to list at all. I am also disgusted the images the property posts are not in any way representative of the room or the property. False advertising. I will be contacting the Board of Health in addition to seeking a refund. Criminal.

Comfortable stay. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Hotels.com said “free breakfast”, but there was just a Keurig coffee machine in the office. Nothing else. This is an older property w/ normal inherent problems - crack in floor in shower, visible holes in sheets, interior door with surface broken and pulled off. But it was clean and bug-free.

There was very weak / no cell phone service - had to go and stand outside near Black Horse pike to call cab service! No reason to force people to use their WiFi. No garbage cans near the parking lot.

I had a wonderful experience at the PlumTree Inn. The rooms were clean, very comfortable. and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the Williamstown Area or New Jersey Shore.. Easy to get in and out of and pleasant drive to anywhere you need to go. Will definitely recommend place to colleagues, family and friends!

You get what you pay for. We stayed here 3 nights for a family event. The motel was 1/2 the price of a Hampton, yet was more than 1/2 of the value. The place was clean, staff was courteous, and we felt safe. It is on a part of the road that seemed to be used as a drag race strip - not their fault. Over all, good value for the money.

I would have probably given this stay excellent for everything if it weren’t for a few things. First the greeting and check in was not very friendly, it was almost as if we were an inconvenience, we weren’t meant to feel welcome. The house keeping women were very friendly ! The only other thing keeping from great reviews was the other people staying who appeared to maybe be living there. They yelled things to my friend and I a few times. That was a bit obnoxious but tolerable. This is no 5 star luxury resort by any means but If you’re looking for an affordable, clean, quiet and comfortable stay this would be perfect.
