Best Western Premier Collection Adriatik Hotel is an historic landmark, located right on the beach of Durres, Albania. Built in 1957, as the first Albanian Luxury Beachfront hotel and resort, reopened as a private, independent hotel in 2003.

70 rooms, two indoor Restaurants, three outdoor bars, events and conference rooms, tennis court, outdoor Pools filled with sea water, indoor pool and spa with massage rooms, face treatments, hamam, and sauna. This five star luxury property lays on 16 acres of lush gardens, positioned on the national road: five minute drive from center of Durres, four minute drive from the port of Durres, 25 minute drive from the international airport ‘Mother Teresa’, and only 40 minute drive from Tirana, the capital of Albania.

Menu for the restaurant was not presented in a 5 star manner.Mine was actually dirty and well used.

Really enjoyed our family holiday to the Adriatik.
It’s an impressive building and smartest in the beach area of Durrës. Has old world charm, with modern professional standards.

Pool and slide was brilliant for the kids.
Great service in dining and at pool bar - particularly Armela and Robert.
Private beach area was well looked after and great option to have.

Really good range of hot and cold breakfast options, traditional Albanian and standard Euro fayre. Lovely to sit out the front.

Cleaning staff were amazing, keeping rooms and communal areas spotless - being so close to the beach, with guests walking sand in, staff always there to keep it looking first class.

The hotel also has a tour operator and run some impressive and wide ranging day tours locally (Durres) and further afield (Kosovo, Montenegro) - well done to Sara for insightful, professional and friendly service throughout.

The noise at night might be a bit much for young families as the hotel’s DJ on the beach front was energetic until quite late.

Would recommend without question. Thank you Adriatik for welcoming us so well to Durres.

1st time in Albania

The wife and I had an amazing time in this beautiful hotel on the beach, enjoying awesome weather! Everybody was so friendly and happy, must be the sunny atmosphere! Beds were extremely comfortable, breakfast was Delicious and everything was easily accessible which restaurants all the way up and down the beachfront. Great prices, great wine, and great food!! We will be back, but next time I think we’ll go south to spore a wonderful country!

I highly recommend this resort. Breakfast was amazing as you can sit outside and watch the waves come in. The spa was fabulous and everyone was kind and inviting. Great location and a great atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again.

From the moment we stepped into the Adriatik Hotel late in the evening, we knew we were in for a special experience. Ali, the doorman, went above and beyond to welcome us, making us feel right at home in beautiful Albania. His warm demeanor set the tone for our entire stay.

Our room was stunning, complete with a breathtaking view of the beach. It was exceptionally clean and tidy, reflecting the hotel's commitment to excellence. The beach itself was well-maintained, adding to the overall charm of our stay.

A special shout-out to Ornest and Astrid, who were incredibly attentive and always greeted us with genuine smiles while serving us at the beach and bar. Their friendly service truly made our time relaxing and enjoyable.

Dining at the hotel was another highlight of our stay, thanks to waiter Armand, who maintained the five-star service we had grown to love. The food was simply the best around, with a fantastic variety that catered to all tastes.

**The Adriatic Hotel in Durrës Changed Our Perspective on Albania**

Our stay at the Adriatic Hotel in Durrës transformed our view of Albania entirely. We encountered a hotel staff that was exceptionally friendly, starting with Mr. Ali at the door, who was incredibly helpful. The rooms were spacious and airy, offering a very comfortable experience. However, I have one critique: the bathrooms were quite small and need renovation. I would suggest that the hotel management consider updating the bathrooms on a room-by-room basis, without closing the entire hotel.

The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious options. The hotel's private beach was a true highlight, and walking just 500 meters to reach the water was delightful. One memorable evening included a music program where a lady in a blue dress sang beautifully, captivating everyone with her stunning voice.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the hotel staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

Just what I needed

The last time I stayed in Albania, I stayed in Tirana, and it wasn't exactly the right fit, but Durres was precisely what I was looking for. The walk along the sea is just what I wanted and the walk into Durres was a little more challenging than I originally thought, but ultimately a good stretch of the legs. I had the best salmon at the hotel restaurant, exquisite. I would definitely go back.

Reception staff friendly. Hotel backs onto the beach area and the strip of restaurants.
I stayed in a VIP upgrade room.
The hotel room is very dated. The bathroom is very compact, the shower is above the bath and sprays out beyond, so much the bottom of the door was peeling away, the surrounding finishes are dated.
The spa pool is quite small and there is a charge to use the sauna.
There is another large outdoor pool at the front of the hotel entrance.
I decided to check out 2 days early.

Outstanding resort!

Amazing resort and service was exceptional!! Breakfast and the views were perfection. The only downsides were the extra firm bed and the AC didn’t get very cold. We are use to it being cold when we sleep and I don’t think it was able to get colder than about eighty degrees Fahrenheit even after notifying the staff. With some fans, this place would be a dream!

Some of the surrounding properties look shady. the actual room was great and inexpensive. Food was great, and the beach/ lounge/ oceanfront area pleasant. Beachfront is public and not well-maintained outside of immediate hotel area. Staff was great but overcharged for shuttle, COVID tests and breakfast compared to normal Albania prices. Still worth booking. Consider some of the newer beachfront resort towns in north Albania tho

I love doing my trip there. The weather was perfect! There were very few guests as it is the off season but I live over in Tirana, about 35 km away, and was on a vacation so decide do to go to the beach. I like it quiet so this was perfect for me. If you are looking for action, night life and lots of people then this is not the time to go for you. I enjoyed the peace and quiet and the restaurant and all the staff.

Wir waren mit zwei Kindern für 1 Woche in der Unterkunft und würden uns nicht noch einmal für diese Unterkunft entscheiden.
Unserer Ansicht Nacht ist das Preis Leistung Verhältnis unangessen.

Gut war, dass das. Hotel sehr sauer war und das personal sehr bemüht war einen guten Service zu leisten.

Nicht so gut war, dass das Hotel sichtbar schon in den Jahren gekommen war. Der Pool ist veraltet die liegen ebenso. Auch die liegen am Strand sind leider nicht mehr die neusten.

Am Strand hieß es die haben zu wenig Handtücher und können und daher nicht so viele aushängen.

Flot og nydeligt hotel, men ikke pengene værd.

Vi kom ind på et meget flot hotel, som vi også betalte meget for. Grundet den høje pris, havde vi også høje forventninger. Serviceniveauet og beliggenheden fejlede intet, men vi fik et ret lille værelse med et meget lille badeværelse, nul altan (og dermed ingen mulighed for at tørre vores badetøj) og så var lydisoleringen helt vildt elendig, hvilket gjorde, at vi hver aften ud til lidt over midnat kunne høre dunker-musikken brage løs fra baren på hotellets stueetage.

Hotellet har stort potentiale. God udsigt, æstetisk gennemført indendørs og lige ud til strand og Strandpromenaden, men det ender på samlet tre stjerner grundet den høje pris for et værelse med for lave standarder og alt for meget larm. Man får ikke koblet ordentligt af.

Dejligt hotel

Skønt hotel lige ned til stranden, god service, venligt personale. Ved ankomst havde opgraderet vores værelset til et med havudsigt, hvilket jeg klart vil anbefale at bestille! Der boede en familie med en baby ved siden af vores værelse, den baby græd meget og vækkede os, da vi sagde det til personalet sørgede de for et nyt værelse til os med det samme. Sengen på værelse 207 var virkelig god, vores nye værelse 211, kunne godt trænge til en ny topmadras.
God og stor morgenmadsbuffet.

Our stay was very pleasant. We received an uppgrade on checking in. The pool area beautiful with a big spacious pool. The beach area was so nice and clean, not crowded, free beach beds and umbrella. The hotel has very good and friendly staff for the drink service! I do not know his name but he did a fantastic job serving us towels and drinks at the beach.
The little minus for this stay was the breakfast since the scrambled eggs definitely need an upgrade and I also missed marmelade. But can also be a domestic sort of breakfast…
