It was a great place very clean room and comfortable bed. Maria the house keeper was amazing made stuff out of towels and flowers on the bed for us. All the staff was amazing and very friendly/helpful. Breakfast was great and a great variety of food. Pool was very nice did not use it I would rather be in the ocean crystal clear water.

This was a great place to stay right on the beach in the middle of West Bay. Had a good pool and a beautiful beachfront with a lot of lounge chairs and umbrellas. Breakfast buffet was solid and the beach bar/restaurant was pretty good. I’d say the cocktails need a little help. This isn’t a luxury resort, but it’s a great place to stay for the value for sure. My room was set back a little, but was just a two minute walk to be on the beach. I’d stay here again.

We were there 2 weeks from March 23 to April 6, with breakfast included. it was our 3rd visit to the hotel over a 10 year period.

Renovated rooms and pool looked great!
Bathroom fixtures could have used an upgrade but other than that, everything was awesome!
Room was super clean and done before 11 everyday. Great beds, great pillows and awesome linens.

We found breakfast to be good and never felt like using the omelette station as the options on the buffet were varied and excellent! Lots of fresh and perfectly ripe fruits, scrambled eggs, sides, toast,yogurt pancakes, french toast and more. We walked away full and content everyday.

Staff highlight was Michelle! She was awesome at breakfast and the beach bar, always aware of new people, checking on whether they needed anything and asking if food, coffee and service was ok. We always make sure to sit where she could see us to have her as a server. We cannot say enough about her and the level.of customer service she provides, she is the best.

The beach staff was the best in West bay!
Took care of people, adding cushions, grooming the beach like no other resort did!
Sargassum weed landed one day and they were the first to have the beach all cleared off, they worked relentlessly for a full day!

We love this hotel, it is casual with an awesome vibe and will be back, hopefully next year!

The brekfast selection is just OK not great, there should have been a few more options. But the staff was super helpful and attentative. The showers don't have a shelf for shampoo or soap so you have to put everything on the floor inside the shower. I had the large villa and the cooking utensils were not suffcient for 6 people, only 5 sets of silverware and one small frying pan and small pot. No coffee maker in the room.

We had a great stay overall. The hotel is located right in the main tourist area, close to everything and surrounded by other hotels, which is very convenient.

The beach is absolutely beautiful, and we were lucky as there was almost no seaweed during our stay. Only one day, right before we left, a lot of sargassum washed in.

We were barefoot most of the time since there’s sand everywhere, which adds to the relaxed, laid-back vibe.

The dive center is excellent — very friendly and they take great care of you. We had an amazing diving experience with them.

Breakfast is okay, nothing special. The beach restaurant is very good, although a bit pricey — but that’s expected in a very touristy area.

We truly enjoyed the experience and would definitely come back.

The staff were fantastic. They really went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The resort itself is average. The food was okay. The breakfast buffet food in the hot plates was not very hot, but the woman making the omelettes made a very good breakfast. The people working at the front reception desk did not know much of anything about the resort. They could never answer any of our questions and they did not know anything about the events happening at the resort. I think the reception desk should be the go to, to get your questions answered. There were a couple of staff members trying to get people involved over the week with yoga, zumba, etc. but there was very little participation. The nightly music was not the best. If you want good music, travel down the beach to the other resorts. They had some really good music.

Overall great stay, hotel transportation is a plus, buffet breakfast was tasty and had several options. Room was great size and beds were comfy. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The grounds are always kept clean as well. We did have a leaky restroom faucet and burned light bulb, but both were fixed quick. My only cons were the restroom window - it’s frosted so you can definitely be seen while showering. I just made sure to shower with the lights off. Additionally their bed pillows are hard so that caused some neck pain.

What really stood out was how amazing the staff were, including the cleaning crew, who did an excellent job. The WiFi was fast and estable. Booked because of free shuttle for airport/ferry. No driver at ferry when I got there, called the property, a driver was there about 10 minutes later. Could have been hung up with traffic but there was no communication as to why he wasn’t there. Room wasn’t ready until 3:10, no shower pressure, patio door would not shut all the way and could not be locked. Place is good otherwise, but the food and drinks were overpriced. Spent my time next door at banarama for good cheap drinks and food.

The property was well maintained and very nice layout and landscaping. The rooms were a little small and could use some updating but all in all was adequate. Resort is in a good area to explore up and down the beach for shops and restaurants. Prices were definitely inflated because it is in the middle of a tourist area. Definitely would recommend!

We were blown away by our upgrade to the Ocean One Villa condo's!! The place was perfect with friendly staff and amenities. The pool at the Villas was a welcomed surprise.
Peacefully tucked away yet only a short walk to the beach, the main hotel and restaurant made it a perfect location. The bar right on the beach was spectacular. I highly recommend this place!

The room was very clean and cleaned regularly every morning. Staff were extremely friendly and always made us feel welcome. Security at the entrance were very friendly and helpful to us as well. Check-in and checkout went very smooth and quick.
The rooms are very basic. Both the rooms and the bathroom could use an update. Regardless, they were always clean. Beds were very comfortable.
We found the drinks at the hotel to be expensive compared to other nearby spots. There really wasn’t any drink service around the pool area.
The beach area was very nice and never had a problem getting a chair.

This is not the place to stay if you are looking to relax. Here is a list of issues I had that made me check out after 1 night;
1.) Incredibly loud! I went diving in the morning and wanted to take a nap and the plaza next door was blasting music non-stop all day long. Then at night Banarama was blasting drunk karaoke until 10pm. The following morning at 6am the plaza next door was blasting music again. The workers arriving at 6am were yelling back and forth to each other down the alley. Finally at 7am the construction noise started!

2. Damp hotel room, horrible broken shower, apparently you can't flush toilet paper, and the tv is all fuzzy Spanish channels. Now you may think \"I'm not going to watch tv on vacation\"....well there will be rainy days, you will want to chill out at night, and you will want something to drown out all the noise around the resort.

3. Rude bartender....the workers need to be told that although people cannot speak Spanish fluently they are able to understand it. I heard one of the bartenders repeatedly refer to another guest as \"puta\" which if you know even a little Spanish is not a very nice thing to say.

The front desk said they would try to move me to another room, but I didn't want to stay there any longer and went back to my much better hotel in West End

Paradise Beach was an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The room(honeymoon suite) was clean and comfortable with a huge balcony that came in handy during some rainstorms. The cleaning staff was efficient and kept the room super clean throughout our stay! There was a fantastic breakfast buffet each morning with different things to try each day. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was great. We enjoyed the beach and the snorkeling was just a quick walk away! There were plenty of places to eat and drink nearby when we wanted some variety. The cruise passenger invasions during the day were a bit overwhelming, but the good news is, the leave every afternoon! Great stay!

Our stay at Paradise was overall amazing.

Pros: The beach was stunning, the property grounds are beautifully maintained and our suite was spacious, quiet and private. Everything was impeccably clean. Not a speck of dust was present.

Joel provided excellent service at breakfast. Marvin and Adeli took incredible care of us on the beach. We couldn’t ask for better service. The beach was bustling, but sitting in our beach chairs in the guest section, we were totally relaxed and we felt completely secure leaving our belongings while we snorkeled and swam.

The snorkeling right down the beach is the best I have ever experienced - acres of reef and the beach in front of the hotel is white sand and the perfect depth for floating around.

Cons: The property is overdue for a remodel (bathroom/shower especially) and the food could be much improved. Everything at breakfast was both over salted and lacking in flavor and the beach restaurant was nothing to write home about.

Overall we recommend this resort because the location is perfect, our room was spacious and clean and the hospitality was excellent.

The staff was friendly, but the hotel is a safety hazard. There is stone all throughout the perimeter of the pool, with slippery wood in some parts. The staff could have done a better job announcing whatever events the hotel was holding - they were not as inviting as the surrounding hotels. Our room smelled like sewer water and the water coming out of the sink smelled like that too. Luckily the water that came out of the shower was okay, so that’s what we used to wash our hands and brush our teeth. Though we will return to Roatan, it will not be to this hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at Paradise Hotel! The room was cleaned every single day, which made my visit feel very comfortable and relaxing. The staff was incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything I needed — their hospitality truly made the experience even better.

The only thing I would love to see improved is the gym equipment, as it could use some updates. Other than that, everything was great and I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Roatán!

I really like that the staff rake and clean the beach front when all the debris were wash up onto the beach area. The room is very nicely decorated and the cleaning staff did a great job. On all everything was great, but I have to say that the food option was not large and was not the best food. We end up eating at other resorts and other restaurants because the options were not a lot and was not very good.

I loved this hotel. It is clean, family friendly, the beach is just a couple steps away. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. The place is well maintained. We stayed here for the first time 6 days with breakfast included just because we did not know if we were going to like the food. Next time we visit I would definitely book the all inclusive package bc food is delicious and fresh. I didn’t like the restaurant that they have at the beach, but I only had dinner one time. Maybe I should have given them another chance.

Very accommodating staff. My son broke his phone charger and the front desk (Jamie) lent him one for a few days. They go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. There is plenty of security up and down the beach and they ensure safety. The beach access and towel system are wonderful. Chaise lounge chairs and umbrellas are included and the security watch the belongings when you’re in the water. Excellent service and staff!

Hotel has a lot to fix. First it’s not a private plunge pool in your room it’s on the rooftop so maybe they need to be a little more specific.

Pool was dirty. We were there 7 days and the staff isn’t warm welcoming nor Catering. I must say the Marvin & Oscar were the only friendly and helpful staff on the beach with, towels, chairs and umbrella services. Not impressed by this hotel at all! Definitely recommend staying at the Grand Roatan!!!!!!

The staff was very attentive to my family and family member with disabilities. The staff made sure we had all the accommodations and services. Excursions were offered to us and the staff made sure we were able to do the excrusions with my family member who uses a wheelchair and had the assistance we needed. The staff made sure to make a pured/blended meals for my family member in the mornings due to her special diet. Everyone was friendly! The beach is beautiful and right at the property. The pool is a gorgeous jungle feel and great for kids and adults who might not know how to swim. Thanks to Byron and Brent Fischer who set us up with excrusions to do around the Island and accommodations for wheelchair accessibility.

The rooms are small and shower was tiny! Unless you rent a villa which was beautiful and comfortable. We had a few issues with our ride from the airport, the room was not what I booked, we got moved to the one I had asked for next to the pool (very small and outdated), the shower broke and we had to be moved again. The staff was awesome, courteous and very professional. Ónice at the front desk took care of everything for us and always with her beautiful smile. Estefany and Javi jumped in to make sure we were taken care of. Dalia was always happy and kept our room spotless. Joel and Abraham also very pleasant every morning during breakfast. I didn’t get everyone’s name, but again the staff was awesome!!

35 min. fr. airport. Heavy traffic. Most things are pricey! Locals on beach will bombard U nonstop hawking their wares, trinkets etc. Shower/tap water is salty; it’s harsh, wreaked havoc w/ my hair. Buy bottled water. Bed/pillows are firm. Gym’s hot, tight; equipment unclean, old & tired; lap pool ok. Lots of mosquitoes. Bldgs. are dated. NO fun pool games/interactive activities.
If U want peace/quiet, this place is ideal. FREE airport shuttle & breakfast buffet (good coffee, food selection). Great wi-fi connectivity. Hot/warm shower ok. Friendly staff, helpful, informative & accommodating. List of excursion trips @ front lobby. Room svc is really quick. Our honeymoon suite is lovely w/ kitchenette, big balcony, garden/pool view. Room & resort are kept tidy; staff are constantly cleaning, trimming etc. Property’s surrounded by lush trees/plants. We felt safe here, guards patrolling premises 24/7. Outside the front gate, turn left in an alley, there’s a plaza for shopping & eating. Down the road fr. resort gate, there’s coffee shop, pizza parlour, grocery stores, fresh market. West Bay’s known for its calm, clear & pretty beaches; excellent for swimming/snorkeling, paddleboarding. Down the sandy beach, walking distance plenty of dining options to choose from. Beachers & Bananarama (has evening entertainments) restaurants are affordable. $5 water taxis on the beach will take you to West End Village for scuba diving, souvenir shopping or dining destination.

the staff at Paradise Hotel were friendly. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. It was family friendly I went with my twelve year daughter and she had fun playing in the pool with other children. There was different entertainment at dinner each night. We really enjoyed the Garifuna people dancing punta that was our favorite. Two things they need to improve. When taking a shower hot water runs out immediately and there was no dresser in the room to store clothes.

The stay here was nothing short of amazing! The staff were extremely friendly! They even set me a table at the beach and made me a cake and sung to me for my birthday! The food options at the hotel and nearby was endless. I enjoyed myself! Very clean and safe environment. I look forward to staying here when I come back!

Hotel is nice but the food is not good. Do not purchase all inclusive for food. There are other places to eat in the area within walking distance. Hot water runs out quick. Shower is very small. Room was clean with air conditioning.

We booked the honeymoon suite for four nights, and the experience was magical. Walking to the room felt like stepping through a lush jungle path, and just a few steps beyond, we were greeted by a pristine beach. The only downside was the tub in the suite, which had a rusted bottom, so we chose not to use it. Aside from that, we absolutely loved the experience.

I enjoyed the access to the beach, right on it! The large pool had plenty of shade. Excellent dive operator on property and a two minute walk to good snorkeling on a shore reef. The restaurant was very good, breakfast included, had pizza for lunch and whole fish for dinner!My room was very comfortable, clean and a great AC. Water cooler on each floor, good WiFi .My only negative was the hot water tank for sink and shower was only ~4gal? Giving 4-5 min of a hot shower! Friendly staff too! Ill definitely come back.

We loved our stay at Paradise Beach. The service was amazing. The breakfast was delicious. The staff is very kind and accommodating. On a few nights of our 7 day stay we got a phone call to enquire if we had any issues needing tending to. When we arrived we were upgraded to a suite and provided 2 welcome cocktails each. Our room looked over a wonderful garden that boarded the pool. The attached restaurant has great food. We loved the pizza. We have only been home for 24hrs and missing paradise. The people of Roatan are wonderful. We will visit again.
