Wow! Wonderful hotel ! Most of the rooms have large balconies, all semi private over looking the water. The hotel is an easy 15 min walk to Pile Gate. The breakfast is vast with many many options.
The hotel is grand and the spa has a steam room, sauna, salt room , hot and cold pools along w a huge swimming pool. Much nicer to stay outside of old town and walk in. You get all the conveniences and you can park your car right at the hotel.

I had an remarkable stay at Rixos Premium Dubrovnik.

The room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had an incredible view. The entire hotel has a beautiful, refreshing scent the moment you walk in—it really adds to the whole experience.

The staff were outstanding: professional, warm, and always ready to help. Amenities are top-class, especially the spa, pools, and the excellent breakfast selection.

The location is also perfect—just a lovely 15-minute walk along the coast to the Old Town. Everything was exceptionally well organised and high-quality.

The indoor pool is a little small but is compensated with an excellent outdoor pool ( which is not heated).

One improvement the hotel could do is fix the showers as the design is flawed and the entire shower floor gets water from the shower spray.

The hotel had excellent facilities and the rooms were a good size but not large for a 5 star hotel. Appreciating it was close to end of season, room maintenance was at a tipping point into shabby, ceiling stained with water leaks, electric sockets coming out of the wall when plugs were pulled out, etc. The changing facilities in the pool area were showing signs of mould on the woodwork.

The housekeeping staff were excellent in every respect.

The porter and reception staff were also excellent in every respect, always taking the initiative to ensure you were receiving first class service.

Breakfast was a different matter. The food was good and well presented. However, it was unusual to find a table fully set or reset on arrival at any time from 9am onwards. Tables tended to be partly set and we had to get milk, napkins, glasses or cutlery from adjacent tables. Rarely did staff take orders for tea or coffee without being sought out and then it would take a long time for them to return because the coffee bar was overrun due to lack of staff. There was a visible shortage of staff and managers were spending their time clearing tables instead of managing and they tended to be unfriendly when approached for requests to set tables and coffee orders. In fact, one female manager was so overwrought that she was rude when approached. Overall, breakfast service was understaffed and could be a fraught affair.

Despite the experience at breakfast, we still enjoyed our stay.

Our friends had recommended this hotel and we are so glad we took their recommendation. We had the best time staying at this hotel. The breakfast was fantastic and we enjoyed the outdoor seating. The amenities such as the gym and pool/seaside seating were fabulous.

Fabulous hotel with the most amazing views. The room was comfortable and so lovely to have a veranda with extraordinary views. The food and drinks are expensive but nice. Service is good. Buffet breakfast is excellent. As it’s a large hotel with high turnover the room was quite dusty. Easy 20 minute walk to the Old Town.

The room was clean. We were in the annex and they should make that clear when booking.

The bathroom must have had previous flooding as the bottom of the door trim was damaged and the shower door was stained.

A weird shape room but was spacious enough.

It’s a 25min walk from old town.

The pool area is great but the flooring is worn and damaged in places, need footwear. Deck chairs could do with facing the sun more.

The access into the sea great.

Pool staff very helpful. Check in staff ok but not overly friendly or helpful.

Breakfast was great. Views lovely.

We stood at the Rixos a year ago which made us choose it again after our visit to Montenegro. We even decided to show up a day early. Unfortunately it has changed a lot and not for the good. Even though it has always needed an updating things weren’t as bad last year. This time around things seemed like they take a lot of shor cuts on the cleaning and budget. This is suppose to be a 5 star hotel and it’s becoming a 3 star. The sheets and comforters had holes and tares. The carpets were really dirty. The hallways reeked of mold and sewer. Service definitely took a downfall. During lunch servers didn’t acknowledge us until we got their attention. Even when taking our order they wouldn’t write it down making our lunch order wrong. Breakfast isn’t the same anymore a lot of items missing from last years as well as service. Again we would hunt them down for napkins and our coffee order. The pool area needs a huge update as well as the bathrooms. It’s sad to see a hotel that used to be great take a huge downfall for the worst. I honestly don’t recommend this hotel anymore especially for the price point.

The hotel is beautiful. Our room was very nice, the area where you have breakfast for me was the high point of the day with great service and great buffet, the pool and gym are very nice, the indoor spa and pool are very nice - the bathroom off indoor pool is a bit shabby and was leaking.
The lady that organised the excursions was not great. She wanted us to go on a tuk tuk tour when there was a forecast for severe storm. Not great. I would say some staff lovely, some not as amazing as rest of Croatian hotels. The greek restaurant was lovely and service good. The bar food was good. It would be nice to have a hotel shop with affordable prices so not just designer. Overall such a lovely hotel

Property location and the faciltiies are excellent.

What I do not like is the dining options. Limited and costly choices. A certain restaurant at the facility refused to serve the food I wanted, and listed in the room service menu. With VIP access service, I would have expected to be treated accordingly. I had to argue with the restaurant host and ultimately escalate to the hotel desk manager to get the service.

Nice and clean, walking distance to old town. Food really expensive. Security questionable as local people were able to just walk in from the side to the pool area and a lot of young local boys kept using the pool and saw them spitting into it. Very odd I found!? Beds were really too soft for us and spare bed very hard. A free bottle of wine was part of our stay as booked through Expedia as a gold tier member but had to ask for it half way though the stay. Small things but it all makes a difference😉

Overall a lovely resort and I would go back. Locations great for Old Town. Breakfast and dinner were great. Staff generally very polite, had one rude encounter with a receptionist. Our room had some issues and it took 3 different staff to solve the issue. Turn down was inconsistent. Not enough sun loungers and people often reserving them at the crack of dawn.

I stayed at Rixos for 2 nights and had the most amazing stay. The staff were super friendly. The view from our room was amazing aswell as the amenties. Its very close to old town so was easy enough to get there to experience old town.
The breakfast was great there was so much options on what to have. Overall 5* hotel!

The location was perfect for exploring the area, with great restaurants and attractions within walking distance. I especially loved the breakfast – fresh, delicious, and with plenty of variety.

I thought I was treating myself to an exquisite hotel, since I paid $550 per night, which is the most I've ever spent on a hotel. I was super disappointed, nothing about it felt premium, from the interactions with the staff, the services, the food quality, the comfort...it was all mediocre at best. You won't feel special at all, it's more of a giant factory. It's a huge resort with several restaurants and bars, and I'm assuming that's what others like about it. My main goal was to visit the city & immerse in the culture, so that is not worth the money to me at all. The meals are subpar, and way overpriced, you can eat much better and for much cheaper in the old town. Overall I really regretted my decision to spend so much money on this hotel and would not recommend it to others.

This hotel is absolutely stunning. Location not far from the old town, beautiful views towards the sea and mountains, access to the beach.

Staff very welcoming and friendly,a special shout out to Georgia..spacious lobby, lots of activities, gorgeous spa, beautiful beach/patio area by the pool, concierge was very prompt and booked us few things to explore the city.

Really enjoyed our dinner at the Greek restaurant, delicious food, amazing ambiance and entertainment/show.
Room kept clean. The brekfast area was very spacious, with indoor and outdoor patio, live music. The buffet style brekfast was very diverse and delicious ( loved it)

I have spent 4 days in this amazing hotel and it was absolutely perfect! The breakfast is delicious and there is a lot of variety. The rooms are big and we had the spacious room with a sea view. The beds are so comfortable and the amazing team makes sure that you have everything you need. The view is stunning! The lovely team helps with whatever you need and does it with a smile. I would like to mention 2 staff members in particular that went the extra mile for us, Nejra and Danica. They were so helpful and pleasant. The whole team makes you feel welcome. I am recommending this hotel for everyone that comes to Dubrovnik 😊

An impressive hotel right on the coast with stunning views. It’s also walkable into the old town of Dubrovnik. Plenty of on site dining options (albeit quite expensive). The outdoor pool area and terrace are nice although the pool was freezing. Note you may be staying in a building next to the main hotel which feels less glamorous and the views less impressive. Overall a good but quite pricy option for a stay in Dubrovnik

Luxurious holiday stay at Rixos Premium. We loved the delicious buffet breakfast each morning as well as the great local cafes and restaurants close by. We loved being able to access the sea swimming area from the deck area of the hotel. The sea is beautiful to look at and swim in. Staff are helpful and courteous. We loved our view of the sea from our room. Would highly recommend staying there.

The property has fantastic ocean view from most of the common areas and our ocean view room had gorgeous view with large terrace. Most of the staff were couteous and helpful. Welcome glass of bubbly and live piano, cello, violin music in the lobby was a nice touch. As well as the check-in staff walking up up to our room and explaing the ameneties.
Where this propert falls short is the guestroom. The room is in need of an update. Furnishings and fixtures look tired. And not clean. Felt as though housekeeping had only changed the bedding and towels and did not bother doing much else. I picked up debris outside threshold og the room door and wiped down surfaces with antibiotic wipes and there was visible debris on the floors so I ended up cleaning the floor with a wet towel so I don't feel so gross being in the room. Common areas of hotel are 5 stars but guestroom 3 stars. I understand that hotels cannot remodel guestrooms as often as the common areas but no excuse for rooms not being cleaned properly. I have been to older properties that have outdated rooms but not a big problem if it is clean. Please look into the quality of job being done by your housekeeping staff.
