The room wasn't a double bed but two beds pushed together and they were very uncomfortable as they were separating during sleep. The toilet seat was broken, the towel wasn't changed in three days and when the loo roll ran out, it wasn't replaced! The elevator was old and very slow, with a lot of queuing. Breakfast was miserably poor in choices and taste, the items were to few for the people and the area crowded. The room had an ugly radiator in the middle of the room instead of windows! The radiator was useless as the temperature was tweaked by a dirty air-condition thatvmade the air dry. The room itself was old, the walls painted dark gray and it was windowless and gloomy. All receptionists behaviour was weird apart from the young man's. This is not a 4 star hotel.

This place is very well located in Levallois, a couple of blocks from Louis Michel on Line 3, very easy to get into Paris. Lots of restaurants, and eats nearby. There is an eclectic throwback theme in the lobby decore. Breakfast is worthwhile and comprehensive (yoghurts, cereal, eggs, crepes, sausage, plenty of toast and croissants, etc). The (superior) room is comfortable, big bed and rather cozy, modern and clean bathroom. The street was quiet at night so sleeping with open windows is fine. Friendly and very helpful staff.

The receptionist and the rest of the staff were wonderful and welcoming. The size of the room was small and very difficult for two people to manoeuvre around when trying to get ready. The rooms are a bit tired, chipped mirrors etc. great location for shops restaurants etc.

Trendy, comfortable, convenient property near Paris attractions. There was free water and coffee in the lobby and a cute game room. My friend and I were only there for a 12 hour layover but it was convient and comfortable. We were able to store our luggage before we checked in. The front desk staff was super helpful even after midnight. We stayed at the beginning of October 2023 and I checked for bed bugs and didn't find any. I loved that they had mattress protectors. Walkable neighborhood with cafes. About 35 minutes to CGD. I would definitely stay again.

Electricity suddenly out of service in the midnight. Next morning we told the staff just want them to check the safety. But one of the staff replied “it’s okay to sleep without a/c, I’m okay to sleep last night, so that’s no problem now” terrified and unacceptable reply. Disappointed

Good hotel to stay

Hotel is very cute with character and neat details and decoration. It is clean and comfortable, although the rooms are very small. I booked superior and could barely move in the room, the bathroom was tiny.
Breakfast was not okay, but one day I came half an hour before end of breakfast and most things were gone. For the price I would expect more.

Very nice neighborhood hotel very close to the boundaries of the city of Paris and a 2 minute walk to the metro that will take you everywhere.
The rooms are small and simple with all the necessities and excellent air conditioning.
The breakfast spread is well worth it with a large selection of choices.

This property is reasonably easily accessible and incredibly reasonably priced for Paris, but visitors should be prepared that 4 stars in France apparently means there is a lift, beds, and a shower.

The room we had was extremely small, the lift is very old-fashioned and even features markings of a previous hotel (some may find this charming, but I prefer my lifts less rustic...), and the air conditioner leaked all over our room on the first night so we survived the remainder with the window open as apparently no French repairmen work on weekends.

The staff were reasonably friendly and the room, in spite of its smallness, was clean and updated. As noted, it was quite easy getting into Paris and for a fraction of the cost of a central Paris hotel - this is idea for those looking not to spend much without having to stay in hostels.

Hotel was very nice and in a good location near the metro station and not too far from a mall. There are many shops and places to eat nearby and a grocery store less than a 5 min walk away. Room was clean and had everything you need, just missing a mini fridge. The staff were extremely nice and very helpful with everything from directions to recommendations about where and when to go to certain attractions, the made my visit to Paris an unforgettable experience. Would definitely stay there again when I return to Paris again.

I stayed in this hotel for two separate days in March. This in the first one I see with the elevate have two layer of doors. The room is clean and in a very unique design. bed is comfortable and room temperature is nice too.
There are a lot of shops on the street, you can buy grocery and eat out, very convenient. elevator is tiny..

Nice quirky budget hotel

The Boris V hotel is named after Boris Vian who I have never heard of before. However they have his piano in the foyer and it is something to behold. It lights up when played.
Even though we arrived very late the man at reception invited us to have a welcome glass of wine and suggested we play the piano. Rather quirky but nice I thought.
The room itself was a bit tight for space but not too bad if you're after basic accomodation in a good safe location with shops all around and metro nearby.

Lovely 3 days at Hotel Boris V.

The hotel isn't the biggest but the staff were very friendly and more than willing to help in whatever way they could. I would gladly stay here again. It not in the centre of Paris but in a great area with a few local shops and resturants just a short stroll away.

I biked this hotel assuming that it was a 4 star hotel but it turned out to be a 3 star. It's building is not 3 star standard. It should be rated not more than 2 stars. Lift is so narrow that only one person with a child can travel in it. One 2 single bed room had one small wooden 3 legend chair. No writing desk or any stationery. No bed side tables.

it's very small, also they services not good, also one of my booking i do for super room but i receive normal room but in the final they charge me as a big room! other room i booking as should pay on hotel, when we check out they told us that they charge my visa card about the amount without my confirmation! other room my booking details show that we should pay 149 euro per night but they request 159 euro!
the breakfast very bad and nothing to eat! the elevator very very small that can't enter it more than 2 person, and also it's very old and not working well !

Mix reviews about our 6 day stay in Boris V Hotel. Great staff, good area, but not as confortable as it can be. The Hotel is a bit old and it need a refresh. Elevator way to small and not reliable. Stairs uneven and difficult to use, specially with suitecases.

Boris V - Comfortable, Convenient and Good Value

Boris V is a small boutique hotel. Our room was comfortable, good size, clean and appropriately appointed.

The \"V\" in Boris stands for the hotel's namesake - Boris Viand and should not be confused with the number 5 as in George Cinq! Boris Viand was an un-classible French author, jazz performer and composer with an interesting history (Somewnat of a Jack Kerouac but French!).

The decor of the hotel is in line with Boris Viand's Jazz background. Of note is the \"pianococktail\" piano in the lobby. Wiki Boris to find out more.

The breakfast provided was the typical French continental style and quite nice.

Clean but won't stay again

A very clean hotel, but very bare bones. Double bed room paid and confirmed but not available when arrived. Had to sleep in a twin. No accommodation or move to another room. Absolutely no service in hotel. Staff with attitude. The only reason to stay is you need to be in that particular neighborhood.

Great designed room, comfy bed. Nice little balcony overlooking the street. New quiet aircon units, so comfortable during summer

Good Wifi, great staff.

Complimentary coffee and croissants in the lobby is a nice touch.

20 minute walk to Porte Maliot long distance bus terminal.

We didn't mind being outside of the touristy zone - in fact it was nice to come back to a quiet area. There is a weekend market two short blocks from hotel. The metro is very convenient - just a few blocks. Good safe area to wander around.

Would definitely stay here again

The neiboughbourhood of the hotel is very nice and safe. There're plenty of small restaurants, cafes and fast food joints in the neighbourhood, and around the corner is a market where you can buy french specialties. Five minutes max from the hotel is metro, so you can get anywhere in Paris very quickly. The rooms are rather small but clean and nice smelling. The hotel staff is friendly and very helpful. I will definitely recommend this hotel for staying in Paris.

Great boutique hotel - quiet and convenient area

Great little place. Modern but with some real French charm - a fantastic little find!
Excellent front desk staff - really welcoming and helpful and nothing out of place at all. Rooms on the \"compact\" size but, hey you're only using it as a base so not a problem.
2 mins walk from Metro so ideal for transport links and a 20 min stroll to Le Jardin d'Acclimatation (well worth a visit).

I stayed here a week and had a great stay. Very helpful staff and nice reception. I like the \"honesty bar\". Wireless internet in the room was excellent. Very good location quite close to the Arc de Triumph. Levellois is a gorgeous part of town with good shops and restaurants. Good shower, cable TV and kettle facilities. My only criticism is about the wood-laminate flooring, which makes things noisy compared to a carpeted hotel. Overall though, highly recommended!

My Hotel in Levallois- would stay there again

Staff very friendly and accomodating. Only drawback was that when I needed an iron and ironing board, the staff asked me to come down to the lobby and pick it up, and then deliver it to another room when I was finished- very odd.
Other than that, i enjoyed my stay and the location was convenient for my itinerary.

The hotel location is great... Just two metro journeys from here to the absolute centre of Paris.

Room was a bit small, but light and airy... Large patio style doors lead out onto a (very small) balcony.

Have to look up to see the sign that tells you that this is \"my hotel\" so did walk past at least once, but as you read this, you can learn from my mistake!

Never had breakfast here so can't comment on that.

Staff seem friendly and good at speaking in English.

Brilliant location and lovely room

Our 6th floor room was very recently renovated and it was just lovely. The metro was just around the corner and the Arc De Triomphe was only 20min walk or so away. There were fabulous restaurants, cafes and bakeries around the hotel also.5 out of 5 for me :)

Even though the hotel is close to the metro, it still takes a long time to get to central paris. It's kept clean and the breakfast was ok and the staff was nice, but the rooms are way too small, especially the bathroom. I wouldn't stay here again.

Fantastic Hotel to stay in Paris

The hotel is situated near Louise Michel metro station (5 mins walk) and close to shopping and dining area. Rooms are of OK size with small shower. Cleanliness wise it is well maintained and offers buffet breakfast. The good thing is that they also give you lunch pack which I haven' seen anywhere else. You get a sandwich of your choice, fruits, and a bottle of water perfect for tourists. Though it is little far from the main city but could be reached anywhere through metro in 20-25 mins. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

My Hotel In France Levallois

We can recommend the hotel
-especially young people and couples. The hotel is remote from the usual tourist places, but the metro is easy to use and the nearest metro is 300 meters from the hotel. We actually only used the metro once, it was cold as h... We normally walked to the Champ Elyssee, the walk is about 30-40 min.
The only annoying thing is, that the walls are thin (soundwise). The rooms are small, but we stayed in Paris for the city, not the room.

Honestly, it's a roof over your head, but not the nicest hotel. They do speak english well. The bed was super hard! It was like laying on a floor. The room is TINY. The elevator was TINY too. I could hear the receptionist talk in the lobby when i was on the first floor, that was odd. It's not in a bad area though and close to Paris.

Good enough!

In short distance there is a metro station(Louis Michel). Also you can find many shopping places and bank. They have good enough breakfast and give sandwich, water and sliced apple as a lunch box. Small rooms for only two people. Little bit noisy because of motors and loud music on the street. Cleaners ignore 'Don't Disturb' card but was safe.

Trevlig och serviceinriktad personal, miljö och inredning i receptionen är originell, frukosten mycket bra. Allt fungerade utmärkt förutom städningen av rummet. Sängen bäddades, men handdukarna byttes aldrig. Istället togs en handduk bort. Intrycket är att städpersonalen har låga ambitioner till skillnad mot övriga anställda på hotellet.
