The staffs are fantastic and helpful.
I have used this hotel in the past but they have gone from good to worse. The hotel facilities and condition is poor and nothing to look forward to.

Avcilar Hotel Stay

This was a last minute decision and I needed a stay, this is out of my home country and wasn't familiar with the area so decided to book here for one night before continuing my trip to another town...You get what you pay for, I guess so in that case, it was good, but the hotel overall was on the lower end of where anybody would want to stay, the staff was polite and helpful however.

Good for its price

The staff were friendly, very helpful, and spoke in English. The hotel offered free tea and coffee in the reception 24/7. Price was decent.
The elevator was surprisingly too small that it fits only one person and a bag.
The room needs renovation, especially the roof and bathroom. I found dead insects in the bathroom and it sometimes smelled.

First of all, the receptionist wanted a different amount than the one I paid for. He didn't care even when I showed him the receipt. I was surprised by the inaccurate description of the room, as soon as I get there I realized that it was a mistake. The rooms next door were so loud, I quickly realized that this is not a hotel but rather a place that is used for different purposes.....I felt disgusted and didn't want to touch the sheets. After 15 minutes I packed my stuff and went back to the receptionist and told him that I was not what I signed for and wanted to leave, he told me that I am free to go and that there is nothing that I can do and refused to give me my money back. You have been warned.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, and the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. This hotel does need lots of updates, the bathroom was molded, and the room was smelly, the toilet was wiggle.

Everything in the hotel is horribly, rooms are dirty , they dont change the bed sheets and they dont even provide clean towels , everytime we have to beg them for cleaning the room or clean tows.
The staff is not good as they are very rude when you ask questions. I wish i haven't stayed that hotel and i will definitely not recommend

Area looks terrible so does hotel from outside, I came in at 2am and was asked to wait for my room for 2 hours as it was flooded with around 40cm of water, I have asked refund straight away but because of receptionist poor understanding of English language it was a struggle. Took my money back and got to a proper hotel straight away..regardless the cost

Very close to the main road, good for the price.

Major rooms are in the basement though that doesn't matter much with Air Condition but still its a little weird feeling. Otherwise the hotel is good for a one night stay.

Firs they give me a room in the basement of the building which was having covered with a curtin the small window. Removing the curtin u can see a big wall in front. Extrimly disappointed with the cleanless of the room. Furniture presents high level of usedge. Water not running proparly. Strong smell of fungus. Walls was prisenting humidity.
This hotel should figure with 1 star. I could not sugest this hotel to no-one only if you have to sleep on the street. I didnt stay there i look for other hotel even if i couldn't had a refound.

We were supposed to have 2 hours extension on our checkout, but the staff asked us to leave before that. The written checkout time is 12:30 pm but they started calling us to leave at 12 pm. Some rooms were humid and not that clean, while others were great.
The staff talk English but poorly like everyone in Turkey.
For the paid price this hotel is fine, but you should be careful about what room you are given.

one hour away from the city center plus on the first night we got a room in the basement and water was dripping from the ceiling. the second day they changed our room to another one and when we came back to the hotel, water was out for 1h.

Very nice suburban bed and breakfast.

Small hotel, perfect for an explorer tourist. Despite the language barrier (not all of them spoke English), the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was very good (however repetitive, but that's ok). Prices are very reasonable, you get your money's worth.

Brilliant staff, especially Enes and Ramaz. The hotel is literally across the road from the Metro which provides easy access around the city. Very cheap compared to taxis. Has a mall close by, rooms are clean, breakfast is very simple. Don't expect a 5 star stay, it is a budget hotel and will save you money all round.

Oh dear ...staff try hard, but needs TLC!

This is a OK budget hotel by Istanbul standards probably seen as good:(
Travel to into Istanbul is challenging; you walk 10 mins to bus station (challenging ride Istanbul style !!) for 40 mins to then change at Metro and do another 20 mins to most sites you'll probably want to see?

Bad points
We had to move rooms once broken bed, (poor quality boarded beds, not comfortable break easily)
Toilet and shower head broken (toilet seat was fixed, but put up with shower head)!
Lighting in room (blue lights stayed on all night) not restful or adjustable!
Think about spending extra £40 in bus pass (which is excellent value if you are into Istanbul style travel on buses/metro) its tough on feet and time!
Staff can't all speak English particularly well, it takes time to get them to understand and are slow to respond (once they said they had sorted issues - but hadn't (it was midnight and we had to move our stuff into new room) he seemed to think it was funny?
Tea & Coffee machine - wouldn't drink it had juice!

Good points
Clean, you have to leave your key at reception to get room cleaned; you won't be told this.
On request gave us a breakfast plate at 5 am when travelling nice gesture but had to ask at length.
Can arrange good value taxi to airport approx 35 TL
Adequate breakfast, juice on tap 24hrs
Good advice (persist - to be understood, then they react).
Cleaners do a good job in rooms.

Un expected stay in Avcilar inci hotel in Istanbul

Hotel Management was arrogant and inflexible. Their attitude was not good.I arrived at Istanbul Airport 1:30 AM and checked in the hotel at 3 AM on10/10/14 and offered 1/2 day price for early check in but they insisted to pay for 9th also and charged me.A lot of hotels in other countries accommodated our request. As I requested extension for one week they booked the room with a rate of 26.53 Euro per night but they changed the rate without telling me to 100 TL per night and charged me accordingly. Also location of the hotel is very far from important attractions. please do not recommend for other Indian guests who come to visit Istanbul. They may don,t come back to you any more. Your agents have to do some research and advise them.

The hotel is nice and small. My room was clean and comfortable. It was spacious for Turkish hotels standards. The staff are the best asset in this hotel, especially the reception people. Mert and Ramazan were super helpful. They got out of their way many times to help me find the closest Western Union and bus schedules. Avcilar (pronounced awvjilar in Turkish) is a nice neighbourhood, relatively close to the airport and quiter than other areas in Istanbul. I would definetly come here again.

Sono realmente sconcertato dalla comunicazione errata che si ha su un sito “serio” come expedia che ho frequentato per anni in precedenza ha fatto di questo albergo. Prima di tutto non è affatto in centro ma a 50 km dal centro città di Istanbul, le condizioni igieniche dell’albergo sono allucinanti, lo stato della struttura è fatiscente e il personale non sono non parla inglese ma addirittura non è assolutamente adeguato. In 5 giorni non mi è stata mai pulita la camera, una cosa incredibile, ho anche un book fotografico completo a testimonianza della situazione tragica del mobilio e della igiene ignominiosa del bagno che posso fornire a testimonianza. Sono realmente sconcertato dalla mancanza di servizi dell’hotel che è anche molto rumoroso e ha parte delle camere al piano interrato. Credo sia veramente importante togliere le 3 stellette di cui è accreditato perché nemmeno l’ultima pensione in stazione in Italia sia ridotta così. Gradirei sinceramente un confronto con qualcuno di voi per esporre la situazione grave delle foto mostrate sul vostro sito e la realtà che ho fotografato dal vivo.

Çok büyük hayal kırıklığı yarattı. Odalar leş gibi temizlik ve hijyen gibi kavramları mumla aramak lazım. Çok kötü bir deneyim oldu bir daha bu otelin yakınından bile geçmem.standart çift kişilik denilen odalar 7-8 m² içinde hareket bile edilemez.
Odalarda su ısıtıcısı yok canınız çay kahve isterse inip resepsiyondan almanız gerekiyor

Pislik içinde, hiçbir şey çalışmıyor gitmeyin!

Otele girer girmez leş gibi bir koku karşıladı zaten oradan anlamalıydık ne kadar kötü bir otel olduğunu. Oda aşağı kattaydı odanın yerleri pisti ve yatağın çarşafları bile yoktu görevli personelden rica ettik getirdi kapıdan bıraktı gitti biz yatağımızı kendimiz yaptık yatak ve yastıklar pislik ve kıl içindeydi getirdikleri çarşaflar da aynı şekilde lekeliydi. Bu pislikten kendimizi Kurtaralım duş alalım dedik duş çalışmıyordu gecenin köründe yine çarşafları getiren arkadaş teknik servis olarak gelip yapmaya çalıştı. Uyuyalım 1 gece zaten diye düşünürken bu seferde soğuktan uyuyamadım klima da çalışmıyordu bu odaya hangi yüzle müşteri alıyorlar anlayamadık. Anlayacağınızz 150 lira boşa gitti araba kiralayın arabada uyuyun daha iyi.

Rezervasyondan sonra, hotele vardım.güler yüzle karşılaşmadım. İşlemlerimi yaptıktan sonra, odama götürdüler, oda bodrum katta bulunuyordu. Her köşesi küflenmiş banyoya girmeye tiksiniyordum. Görevliden başka oda rica ettim umursamadılar. Mecburen bir gece konakladım. Aldıkları parayı helal etmiyorum. Kimseyede tavsiye etmiyorum çalışanlarıda hiç güler yüzlü değillerdi...

Odada havlu, su, çay makinesi ve terlik bile yoktu.
Aslında hotelde terlik yokmuş, bitirmişler ve yeni şipariş vermişler dediler.
Kapı kolları paslanmış, duvar kağıtları kopmuş,...
Oda kottaydı ve çok havasızdı. Sadece odaya ilk girişte sprey kokusunu hissediyorsunuz ama sonra oda ne kadar kötü kokuyor anlıyorsunuz.
Kahvaltıda bile çay kağıt bardaklarda servis yapıldı.
Herşey çok çok kirli ve kötüydü.
Hiç kimseye tavsiye etmem.

Daha önce de konaklama yaptığım ve fiyat-performans ayarını bir süre yakalamış olan bu otel her seferinde daha da kötüye giden bir yapıyla gerçekten beni kendisinden soğuttu. Odaları gerçekten pis, havluların rengi artık gri olmuş, biz odaya geldiğimizde odada olması gereken havlular eksikti, odada boş bardak dahi yok, banyodan sürekli olarak ağır lağım kokusu geliyor ve banyonun hem giriş mermeri kırık hem de kapı kolu çevresi kırık olduğundan kapı tam kapatılamıyor... Verdikleri oda da bodrum katta... Açılan pencere sokakta oturulan bankların alt ızgarasına bakıyor... Yani gerçekten otel berbat bir halde... Ne otele ne de kendilerine doğru düzgün bakmıyorlar...

3. für eine nacht als Notunterkunft ist es okey
4. lieber zahlt ihr die nacht 70€ mehr wo anders

Hotels.com un dikkatine

Hotels.com üzerinden indirimli rezervasyon yaptığımdan olsa gerek otelin en berbat ve bodrumda hiç hava almayan ve resmen lagim kokan bi oda verdiler. Odayı degistirmelerini rica ettim başka boş odamız yok dediler. Oysa otelin boş olduğu her halinden belliydi. Bi kaç saat kalıp gece 12ye doğru çıkış yaptık.

Wurden zurückgewiesen

Nach einem anstrengenden Flug und taxifahrt bis ins Hotel hat man uns gesagt, das unsere Reservierung vom Veranstalter ohne unseren Wissen storniert worden ist, eine neue Reservierung könnte man nur zu einem doppelten Aufschlag machen!!! Sofort rausgegangen und ein anderes Hotel gesucht..........
