Good hotel, would go back!
The Disney shuttle bus is very helpful and the overall place is good. However, hall ways paint may need to be updated. But overall the place is great for a Disney trip especially with children as there’s plenty to do for them. The pool was closed but guests were allowed to go to Dream castle or Explorers hotel.

We had a really pleasant stay at the Grand Magic Hotel and overall felt it offered excellent value for money. The facilities were very good, and the price was much more reasonable compared to the Disney Hotels we’ve stayed at previously.
The shuttle bus service worked perfectly fine for us. We were a bit worried after reading some negative reviews beforehand, but we didn’t have any issues at all and found it convenient for getting to and from the parks.
Breakfast was okay — definitely more of a three-star standard. It was quite basic and the coffee wasn’t great, but still enough to start the day.
One thing we wouldn’t recommend is the buffet dinner. It felt overpriced at €35 per adult (or €39 including one drink), and didn’t really offer good value for the quality.
Overall, though, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a comfortable, affordable stay close to the parks without paying Disney hotel prices.

Better vending machine options and availability and a more secure way to check in store baggage before you are able to check in. Also, some touchups with the paint would be good as well. I would also recommend providing conditioner in addition to the shampoo and bath gel that’s already provided for in the bathroom.

Family Friendly, LED lights and wall paintings looks magical, my children love it. The only downside is the shuttle bus in te evening after the Disneys Tale of Magic, maybe, if two busses will come at the same time, people will not push and yell at each other. I can also recommend to add more toiletres like, shampoo, conditioner and toothpaste. Otherwise, bed is comfy and breakfast is great.

For what is considered a 4 star hotel, the rooms and facilities are in a poor state. Couple this with the lacking service the rooms received when they are getting made up, for example tea and coffee not topped up, towels not replaced, bins emptied etc etc,and sadly this makes for a poor place to stay. On top of that parking is also not included. It all feels like a money grab. The only good thing saving this place from a 1 star review is the breakfast. I stayed from the 28th December to the 31st of December.

The staff were friendly and helpful the room was tidy however bits were broken I.e hairdryer and lights.
The was no hot water for one evening which wasn’t fun after a cold day. The breakfast had good choices and there was plenty of food however the hot food was served luke warm at best.
Average hotel but like most things around Disney parks you pay top price for average products.

All in all not the worst but far from the best.

Swimming pool was freezing-has been freezing both in summer and winter not child friendly at all my small kids were shivering, decorations in main areas were pretty, the dining manager Paul was brilliant. Food was very expensive- £100 for fish and chips, pizza, club sandwich and portion of fries. Breakfast buffet is quite good.

Honestly for a ‘4’ star hotel that is pretty expensive I would have expected so much more. As soon as you leave the front desk it’s really dirty and old, it states ‘noise proof’ rooms and they absolutely were not, you could hear everything. They gave us a single pillow the size of a couch cushion per person and not extras. The rooms also say they have aircon but they were uncomfortably hot and the cooling did not work.

The hotel was ok, the rooms were very basic, it was big and busy, the bar really expensive and the shuttles to and from the park chaotic. I wouldn’t have wanted this to of been my actual holiday hotel.

Unfortunately the bathroom in our first room was very dilapidated. It had black mould around the bath, shower, taps and shower gel dispensers. The toilet was stained. Not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The second room that we were moved to was only marginally better, still with traces of black mould in the bathroom.

Our late check was also declined on the morning of our booking despite asking for it 6 weeks before, and it being a major factor in why I booked here in the first place. They would not refund our booking so that we could move to another hotel. The duty manager was very dismissive and unaccommodating.

The other reason for booking for this hotel was for the pool, of which was closed on our arrival with no pre-warning. We were offered use of a another hotels pool a shuttle bus away, not really ideal in minus degree weather with a toddler.

Overall, the downstairs areas were well presented. But the accommodation levels felt run down and 'cheap'.

Very disappointing. I would not stay here again.

The hotel communal areas were amazing and perfect for families . The staff at the recption were also really friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a good selection including pastries, cerals, bread , hams. Spreads , nuts and salad. There was also hot food choices including sauasages, bacon , eggs , beans and tomatoes. There is also a free shuttle service to disneyland with the timetable available at reception. I am only rating it 3 stars as the room itself was not in the best condition for a 4star hotel. There was mold visible between some of the tiles and silcone in the bathroom. This was not ideal as we had young children aged 3 and under in our family. The carpet looked old and not the cleaness (old marks) and there were no slippers or robes provided. Some of the bedding were scuffed too. There was a stark difference between the beautiful lobby/communal areas and the two joint rooms we had. We did not complain as we spent the whole day in disneyland and mainly booked for us to sleep and had to leave after check-out the next day.

We had a mostly positive stay. The breakfast buffet had a good variety, though the cooked breakfast items were unfortunately cold and tasteless.

A few issues with the rooms did affect our stay. The air conditioning in our rooms didn't seem to function—it appeared to be just for show. We had interconnecting rooms, and while one fridge worked perfectly, the other did not work at all. Furthermore, the safe in one room was intermittent. Upon leaving, the safe's batteries died completely, locking my belongings inside. I had to call reception and wait over 30 minutes for someone to arrive and replace the batteries so I could retrieve my items.

It's worth noting that the food and drink prices in the hotel restaurant are quite high, but this seems standard for Paris and the Disney area, so it didn't feel like an outlier.

Despite these problems, the positives outweighed the negatives, and I would stay at this hotel again.

Good hotel. Shuttle bus every 20 mins direct to train /station and Disney village/parks. The buses can be very packed though.
The pool was nice but no towels provided and the pool showers were freezing.
Breakfast selection ok but not exceptional, you have to find your own table at breakfast and there is often no clean tables available. A high percentage of crockery at breakfast was chipped/cracked.
The decor in the hotel is cool and unusual.
The rooms are clean but basic (no cupboard space to unpack clothes, just a small rack to hang jackets).

The shuttle was really crowded to Disney and to the train station which I was not expecting. Understandable when 3 hotels are sharing one shuttle. I just wish I would have known ahead of time. Could not find the shuttle at he end of the night and had to take a taxi. It doesn’t help that we are Canadian and don’t read French lol.Other than that the hotel was lovely the food is not the greatest and super expensive but hey it’s Disney?

Hotel was very beautiful and kid friendly. We were amazed at the the touches like the vid screens on walls and poles showing the different themes during the days. Always tries to be around during the times when the screens changed themes. Downsides were that the pillows were very uncomfortable. Plus, the drain plug in the bathroom sink wouldn't open well so that the sink would constantly fill with water everytime we would turn on the tap.

Notable stains on the carpet in the room and on the walls. 3 of the lights in the room did not work and so it was very dark in the room at night. We were right off the elevator and the noise carried pretty loud from the hallways. It was a cute hotel but the bus to the parks was jammed packed and adults shoved kids so just be careful.

Affordable option but how is this labelled as a 4 star! It’s closer to 2 star.
Very poor service at breakfast, very limited food options. I left hungry and ended up spending more in Disneyland snacking. 2 days in a row had staff arguing with me at breakfast and refusing to bring cutlery to the table and telling me to get it myself and leave my 4 year alone to go and get it. Gift shop at the front had a very condescending sales person who spoke to us like we couldn’t afford any of the things sold in the shop. Rooms were very basic and could see cobwebs and dust in corners like it hadn’t been cleaned well.
Transport was awful. People cramming into buses like sardines and this was the case no matter what time we took the bus. I ended up getting taxis as it was too stressful trying to get the whole family onto the bus so this and the issues with breakfast made the cheaper option much more expensive.
If I came back to Disneyland again, I would prefer to spend more on a Disneyland hotel than have this experience again! Avoid! Avoid!

Parts of the hotel seamed pretty run down and in need of maintenance, for example the pool (which was cold as was the kids pool) area lacked warm showers, ladders into main pool were broken and wobbling, pretty much all the gym machines were broken, our sink was cracked, as were floor/wall tiles in our bathroom and the bath itself had multiple chips in it.

I wanted to like this hotel because the staff was so nice and it was convenient close to Disneyland Paris. The shuttle service was very good and convenient. However, the facilities fell short for the price paid. We got the family suite which was spacious however they only gave us two towels for a family of five and didn’t replace the toilet paper every day even when it was out. Also, each bed had one small pillow for a suite is ridiculous. Also, three of the five elevators were broken, which was a major havoc in the morning with people, leaving with their luggage to the airport or and going to park. The breakfast was decent. The only consolation is that the staff was very very nice and helpful and it was very convenient if you’re going to Disneyland because of the shuttles passing 20 minutes. lobby is nice but the facility needs some TLC.

We had a pleasant stay on the whole despite a few minor set backs.
Firstly we were met with a not so friendly check in staff. She was quite grumpy.
The swimming pool was freezing cold during our stay so we weren’t able to make use of it. They did give us free parking for the two days as compensation.
On a positive note, breakfast was great and the room was comfortable. The rest of the staff were friendly.
Shuttle bus to Disneyland was frequent and easy.

Grand Magic Recommendation

This was our first stay at the Grand Magic Hotel. The hotel was clean and functional, but some of the high traffic areas could do with a refresh. The bar area with its changing displays is a highlight. The room was functional with everything you would expect, but storage was very limited in the interconnecting family rooms we had. The bathrooms were clean with shower gel, shampoo and plenty of towels provided. The pool area was open from 8am until 10pm and again was clean, but you have to take towels from your room to use it, the hotel does not provide towels in the pool area for guests use. The breakfast buffet was decent, with both hot and continental style options and was served from 7am until 10am.

The biggest issue that I had was the transportation to and from Disneyland Paris. The hotel provides a free shuttle service every 20 minutes to and from the park, but this service is shared with 4 other hotels, which means that it is packed solid all day. On a number of occasions, we had to wait for multiple buses to pass before finding space on one. It is the same at the \"I\" stop at the train station, there is no cueing system, and it becomes a free for all to get on the bus. A system of switch backs needs to be installed to ensure the people waiting the longest get onto the bus first and in an orderly manner.

Overall, for the price point and proximity to Disneyland Paris, I would recommend staying at the Grand Magic Hotel, especially for those with larger families

This was a great place to stay close to the Disney parks with a free shuttle. The whimsical design was fun for the family, and the air conditioning and swimming pool were the highlights of our stay!
