This is a family run no frills perfect place to stay for a ski trip. The apartments are of a very good size, the local toon is just a short walk to the Morilllon lift, there is parking and a lift. I would come back to this place for future skiing. Many thanks

Huge deposit charged at check-in against cleaning of the rooms at check out. Guests were required to conduct thorough room clean including hoovering. The bedcovers, sheets and pillow cases and towels were all charged for separately which was not mentioned at the booking. Misleading advertising, very disappointing upon arrival.

Half term, so this was very much a last minute booking. Availability was the main positive. Morillon is tiny and quiet. The pizza takeaway place La Puzza is lovely. Regarding Vacanceole Residence, very basic and not in a cute country style, but just basic. Was really surprised to be marched upstairs at checkout (before they would refund the deposit), to strip bedding, and had a towel thrown on the kitchen table and told by housekeeper to “dry the clean dishes and put them where you found them”. Breakfast abysmal. Nope. Sorry it’s not an experience to remember with fondness.

Travel from Geneva, 1 hour by shared transport, property is close to centre of village, where you can find supermarket, boulangerie, few restaurants (booking is advisable). The ski bus stop is opposite the property.
The ski lift is not too far but it is just easier to take the bus.

Room is only really suitable for max 3 days. It isn’t equipped for longer and room would be very dirty if the stay was longer as the carpet doesn’t get hoovered/clean during the stay. No basics in room ie washing up liquid, salt, pepper. Good location and stay if you just want a 3 days ski trip.

Good location

We enjoyed a long weekend in Morillon Village and our stay at the Vacanceole was as we expected. Rooms were spacious and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The kitchenette was as in the pictures but do not expect to be able to really cook in the rooms - cups of tea and porridge in the morning was really the limit. This did not bother us as we ate out but be aware!

We walked to the ski lift each day (about a 10 minute walk) but the ski bus did stop close by and ran frequently. Ski hire, small supermarket and restaurants all close by and very good.

a. hotel front and back doors locked until 1630, nobody at front desk until that time. you wait in your car until staff arrive

b. fire alarm missing in main hallway

c. must advise day before if you want breakfast.

d. lift not working, you will have to take suitcases up the stairs

e. linens strewn in hallway

f. The wifi system has blocks on many ports, so you will not be able to use a VPN

On the positive, plenty parking at hotel, easy walk to ski lifts, hotel is clean and service is fine.

Convenient Ski Hotel

Situated on the main road through Morillon, this hotel was clean and tidy. We had a car (park at the back its on the flat) so easy to get to the slopes, but it is also opposite the ski bus run. That said you could walk to the lifts at a push. The hotel is clean and tidy, with a swimming pool (which by all accounts is a bit chilly). Our room was warm and clean. Our only real complaint is that - given this was a family room (one bedroom and ensuite with a family area comprising three singles) in the mezzanine above the dining area - there was no sofa to relax on in the evening.

lacks personal touch of small family \"bed and breakfast\" and compensating for it with a real hotel perks.
For example - there were signs everywhere pointing to the \"fitness\"... but in reality it doesn't exist!
The indoor pool does exist... but there not even one reclining chair in the area to relax.
the standard room is tiny! was not cleaned even once during our 6 days stay (they just empty the garbage cans....
WiFi is an additional charge - and the quality is less than average...
Breakfast is 9 euro pp. not worth it! Poor variety (mainly cereals an yogurts)
bottom line - nothing really awful, but nothing to write home about either!

A nice place to stay. Shuttle bus is a two minute walk in ski boots to ride to telepherique to ski Morrilon, Samoens, Flaine, Les Carroz. Breakfast had the best croissants and pain chocolat, buffet style, also juice, coffee, tea, cereal, yogurt, butter, jam, cheese. The only complaints are that the internet is not free, though advertised as such on hotels.com website. It costs one Euro per hour, and it did not work in our room anywhere, so we had to sit in the lobby to get it to work. Staff insisted that internet always works in every room, which was annoying since it worked no where in either of the two rooms we had.

Finding the \"Palladior\"

Don't look for Palladior - nobody knows it by that name - all the signage is for \"Grand Massif\".

Not totally sure about this new style of hotels that are designed to be staffed minimumly with no hot food prepared on site, and a bar that nobody would want to spend time socialising in (more like a breakfast bar in a games room). Having said all that, the rooms are modern, clean and comfortable so would probably go back.

OK but with serious potential!

We used this place as a stopover travelling to Avoriaz.

Upside: SPACIOUS rooms - living room with efficiency & pull out couch, separate bedroom, two full bathrooms, large hallway. All great for a family ski vacation. Nice and clean, two full bathrooms, sat TV for those who cannot do without,

Downside - staff not overly experienced (they do, however, try hard), overpriced breakfast (tell me how you can charge EUR 11 for one if the entire area is charging EUR 12 for a full lunch). Also - facilities so-so. There is a lounge, but even during the Olympics, the screen was set to French talk shows. Pool table, some kids stuff (including a video game console).

One reason to chose this place was because it has a swimming pool, but the layout (changing room, shower) ill concieved. Ambient temperature was 20.5 Celcius (69F) - and the water was so cold it made my children turn pale blue... Surcharge of EUR 5 for towels...

Couple of quick steps could put this place on the map - but until they do, I would suggest Chalet Hotel Vaccapark instead.

Basically good standard accommodation for a 3 star hotel. Beds comfortable, spacious room and en suite. Let down by lack of cleaning which we had to request. Also no tv reception due to some cable problem. But the staff made up for it so all in all a pleasant experience.

The room was modern, well furnished and bright. I was in a studio which had a neat little kitchenette tucked in one corner. For the most part the room was clean and tidy. The exception was the balcony where I found empty beer bottles and cigar stubs. The common parts were not inspiring or exciting but were clean and functional. Breakfast was a typical French continental breakfast. The hotel was further from Morzine (approximately 30 minutes) than I had been led to believe. I would say it is not particularly well suited for a skiing holiday.

Very nice clean hotel. Small pool which was clean and pleasant. The room was large and had a small kitchenette and fridge. This was great as it meant I could make tea and coffee, also make up sandwiches for my lunch. Very helpful staff and a quiet location. Car was useful, although there are some very good walks directly from the hotel. A nice location, did not try the resturants as it was november and they were closed, but there are a few within walking distance. You could walk to the lift office, but would not wish to do so carrying skis and boots!

The hotel had the feel of being brand new; the facilities, bed, shower etc. were all in top-notch condition. Our only complaint with the room was that the windows had been left open prior to our arrival. With a water course near the hotel, that means a few big mosquitos in the room. A small can of fly spray would have been a useful thing to have.

The location was a little remote for us. We were travelling by motorbike and because we arrived late we had to travel quite a way to find something to eat; something we could've done without.

The electric towel heater in the bathroom didn't work, which was a shame as we wanted to dry a few items of clothing on it.

The hotel staff were very friendly and polite and we'd definitely recommend the hotel to others. We got a very good night's sleep and left in the morning feeling very refreshed.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, l’hôtel est bien placé, simple d’accès, la chambre est propre et les lits très confortables, tout est présent sur place pour être autonome niveau nourriture (plaque, équipements, grille pain, bouilloire etc).
Toutes les chambres n’ont pas la même vue donc faire attention à cela lors de la réservation.
De plus le personnel est très agréable.

My worst price/quality experience for a long time

After long day we expected that beds are ready for three of us. Like normally they are. Well, prepare to do your own bed.

Also remember to do cleaners work, one rubbish bag is there. You just need to add in to the bin.

If you want to bath, bring your own plug for the bathtub.

Dont use too much toilet paper either, there is half roll of it and no spare.

I would not choose to have breakfast in here. You cant even have eggs even if you ask for those before coming.

If you want to have warm smile from the desk when you check out, i suggest to go somewhere else.

Bon séjour malgré la période particulière Covid19

Séjour offert à ma soeur et mon beau frère. Ils ont signalé que la prise du réfrigérateur était arrachée sans doute la raison pour laquelle, le frigo se mettait en route à intervalles rapprochés nuits comprises. Le reste très bien propre et calme. Le bémol à cause du virus Covid toutes les infrastructures étaient interdites comme la piscine intérieure (normal respect des mesures sanitaires !) sans compensation. Il a neigé , un geste commercial comme offrir la gratuité du parking abrité aurait été sympa ou une réduction sur le petit déjeuner pour que les personnes puissent avoir une compensation sur l’absence des services habituellement proposés par l’hôtel.
Station, cadre et personnel très bien !

Le studio proposé n'était pas conforme à ma réservation car plus petit. De plus, très bruyant car situé très proche d'une route passante. Résultat, terrasse inutilisable et fenêtres fermées malgré une superbe météo.
Aucun effort de la direction pour un éventuel changement. J'oubliais cette proposition d'appartement disponible avec un supplément d'un tiers du prix payé. En insistant nous avons finalement changé pour le même appartement que nous occupions mais à l'étage, 4 jours après notre arrivée soit en milieu du séjour et avec tous les désagréments du changement.
Je n'y retournerais pas.

Coin cuisine très,très petit - point d'eau pour faire la vaisselle microscopique (un tout petit lave vaisselle serait tellement plus pratique). Points forts : très grande terrasse et emplacement à proximité du village et des différents points de randonnées.

Parking à l’avant difficile pour les voitures, il faut utiliser de préférence celui à l arrière en suivant la direction de la base de loisir. Etablissement de 2010 bien entretenu. Piscine avec vue sur les montagnes. Magasin avec produits bio à 50 mètres, boulanger à 200 mètres, petits commerces à 500 mètres avec un distributeur de billets. Personnel à l’accueil à l’écoute. Résidence calme l’été même si c’était complet.

You get what you pay for...

Well, you get what you pay for... And I didn't pay a lot why I guess my expectations shouldn't be too high. But some disappointments still including terrible Wifi which I think today in 2020 just have to work flawlessly. And since I were partly going to work during my stay this was a pain. The room also had a bad smell - probably from mold and years of indoor smoking. Very small room, extremely small (almost unusable) kitchen and almost nowhere to unpack. But very cheap :-).

Tres bien

Juste une nuit passee dans cette résidence. Literie confortable, logement avec kitchenette bien equipee. Calme. Piscine sympa. Personnel accueillant.
Nous espérons revenir.

Peut mieux faire

L'appartement etait bien équipé mais le canapé lit du salon meritait d'être remplacé impossible de dormir dessus et pas confortable même pour s'asseoir.
J'avais demandé une baignoire un lit bebe et une chaise haute ... impossible pour la baignoire et pas de chaise haute à notre arrivée alors que je l avais demandé par ecrit lors de la resa et confirmé lors de mon appel 3 jours avant. Malheureusement pour laver un bébé de 18 mois dans une douche concue pour les personnes handicapées c'est du sport voir dangereux.
Dailleurs je n'ai tijo8iurs pas compris pourquoi il y avait une douche pour les personnes handicapées puisquil ny a pas réellement d'accès pensé pour eux ni pour les poussettes entre la plinthe a l'entrée de la chambre les escaliers pour sortir sur l'arrière et la cote pentue qui mène au parking de l'entrée principale ...
En hors saison et la semaine les chambres sont en majorité réservées par des ouvriers qui travaillent en deplacement .... le week end c'est calme mais la semaine c'est une autre histoire ils font la fête jusque tard et sur leur balcon afin d'en faire profiter les autres ils ont meme fait péter des petards donc beaucoup moins calme la semaine
Quand a la réception peut mieux faire nous voulions une facture pour 1 seule nuit sur les 4 mais impossible et au moment de prendre le petit dej on vous crie dessus pour connaitre votre numéro de chambre ... et puis pourquoi ne peut on pas rendre la chambre a 12h comme partout desormais

un rapport qualité/prix plutôt correct

ce n'est pas le grand luxe , mais à moins de 60€ la nuit on ne peux pas demander la lune . à ce tarif , je ne pensais pas qu'il y aurait une piscine . les casiers pour se changer mériteraient d'être nettoyés . petit déjeuné correct. chambre avec kitchenette plutôt correcte . la vue depuis le balcon est splendide , tout comme la vue depuis la piscine intérieure . le gros point noir c'est que hors saison il est très difficile de trouver un restaurant ouvert . de nombreuses belles randonnées à faire dans le coin . les lacs de la vogealle , celui d'anterne ou encore le lac de gers . sans oublier le cirque du fer à cheval et le bout du monde . au final , un rapport qualité/prix plutôt très correct .

Accueil sympathique

Très bon accueil. Studio confortable. A quelques mètres à pied du centre de Morillon. Petite piscine couverte pour se rafraichir l'été. .

Zimmer an sich ok, Betten gut, 1 Schrank mit Brett zugeschraubt, Bad reiner Betonboden, Wasserschaden im Bad, Schwimmingpool außer Betrieb, Aufzug auch außer Betrieb, Wasserkocher und Herd verrichten Dienst seehr seehr langsam.
Fussboden war bei Ankuft nicht gereinigt / gesaugt und wurde es die Woche über auch nicht.
Einmal wurde tagsüber Heizung im Zimmer und Bad abgedreht - beim Skiurlaub nicht nett

Hébergement agréable et bien situé

Très bien hormis ne pas avoir pu profiter de la piscine pour cause d’inondations 2 mois avant mon séjour !!! Ensuite ascenseur en panne, difficile après une bonne journée de ski de devoir prendre les escaliers.
Sinon séjour agréable, chambre propre, locale à skis manque un peu de place pour pouvoir y mettre un banc et manque de chaleur pour pouvoir bien faire sécher les chaussures.
Assez de place de parking devant et à l’arrière de l’hôtel.
