Room on harbours side has brilliant view, breakfast fine but not FREE, more expensive than other similar hoteĺs. Room only cleaned and beds made once in 5 days. Taxi not informed of destination thus unable to to take us.

Cruise Port town with more to offer

The Liberty Hotel had a nice breakfast bar and was in a great location
There are NO freebies my friends, don't touch the water aso.
Some guest service personnel are friendly and an asset to the service industry, others are defensive and almost rude.
That being said they likely had to deal with loads of grumpy customers who come through in great numbers because this is a cruise port town.
Yes my friends it gets extremely busy for just a couple of days almost every week.

We stayed here to be close to our Costa Cruise ship embarkation point. The staff were the best part of our stay though the property was very nice and clean and we loved our room. They don't serve lunch but the breakfast and dinner were excellent. I would stay here again for sure.

Air Conditioning was on with no cooling.

I booked this hotel specifically for the Air Conditioner. It was around 65 F outside and at least 75 inside the room. We left for a few hours hoping the AC would cool the room but there was no improvement. When I complained I was told \"Germany doesn't have AC like Americans expect. The law says we can only cool the room to 5 (or 10?) degrees C above the outside temperature. I have heard this many times. It made me feel like they were actually heating the hotel. We were on the street and did not want to leave the window open due to the noise, so she gave us a room on the 1st floor facing the water. Unfortunately due to security and the shared balcony with the whole floor we could not leave the door/window open at night.

Great hotel with a great location

The superior room was very comfortable for 3 people. We faced the river and had a wonderful view. The water pressure in the shower was spectacular! The breakfast was very good also. I would stay here again.

You live only once......

Well, for business you can forget it. Internet does not work, throws you outevery 5 min. Breakfast is a kinder garding arrangement. Dinner impossible unless you arrange one day before. Garage only for small cars lije Mini. If you have Mercedes you cannot open doors. Staff looks like los. If you keep offering hotels like that for high proce this is a last time I used your service.

A great first-time stay!

Great location and very convenient private car parking underneath. I booked a suite which was a very nice room, large with a good size desk to work at, large bathroom and access to the large balcony/terrace that wraps around the top floor of the building - the other suites also have access to this area. The bar is very cosy and the barmaid was very friendly and made an excellent Old Fashioned for me! I had a good dinner in the restaurant too and the hotel is located in a great position overlooking the port and sea with easy access to the town centre. I will most definitely be staying here again on any future trips to Bremerhaven.

Decent but can be improved

Hotel reception staff is very good. They provide excellent customer service and are very friendly. Same for the bar staff on 5th floor.

There was mould on the bread during breakfast. The staff replaced it but the hotel should not be serving these things. The drain was not working in the shower so it was always flooding. Air conditioner did not work.

Could be amazing but misses the mark

Super location for all tourist activities, great parking and amazing breakfast. Lots of attention to little details in the room aiming for luxury. Unfortunately, neither our Internet nor Our air-conditioning worked. As the location is Northern, opening the window would've solve the problem but the room shares a common balcony with all of the rooms causing and privacy and safety concern is the window/door was left open. This is only a problem for the Harborside rooms for which we paid extra.

Superb accommodating hotel

New hotel, the rooms were brilliant and the service excellent. The hotel sits on the river and there is plenty of bars, restaurants and places to visit within walking distance. Really good price for the quality of the hotel. They even went out of the way to provide a take-away breakfast as we left at 4.30am before the kitchens were open. Will not hesitate to stay there again.

Perfectly located for two day stay

Good views over the river, superb breakfast, powerful WiFi & safe bike storage. Do eat nearby - 5 minutes walk, at the Asian Wok bistro, freshly cooked dishes in a spotless setting with flowers everywhere - also enjoyed an excellent diner at Pier 6.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen und die Umgebung war ruhig. Die Mitarbeiterin, wirkte bei unserer Ankunft etwas überfordert, war aber trotzdem sehr freundlich. Einzig zu bemängeln war, dass die Garage voll war und wir dort nicht mehr parken konnten. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich mit Blick auf den Hafen.

Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer und vor allem im Bad ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig. Dreckränder und Haare von Vorbewohnern im Bad, eine nicht nur einen Tag alte Lage Staub auf Fernseher und Lampen im Zimmer. Eine fähige Zimmerdame hätte diese Stellen mit Sicherheit im Blick. Da man von dem Zimmerpersonal aber nicht mal angeschaut, sondern eher mit dem Wagen aus dem Weg gedrängelt wird, wundert mich dieses nicht. Morgens um 3:15 lautes Geklapper von zugeschmissenen Schranktüren aus dem gegenüberliegenden Serviceraum. Servicepersonal nicht als solches zu erkennen; eine Dame stand mit übergeworfener Kapuze eines komplett schwarzen Hoodie im Flur, nur daran zu erkennen, dass sie gerade am Servicewagen lehnte. Die tägliche Zimmerreinigung wurde auch wohl \"aus Versehen\" vergessen...
Internet teilweise nicht zu gebrauchen, da Hotspots wohl nur vereinzelt aufgehängt.
Frühstücks- und Rezeptionspersonal waren das glatte Gegenteil. Zuvorkommend und freundlich, passend zum Hotel mit 4 Sternen.

Leider scheint gutes Servicepersonal aktuell wirklich schwer zu finden zu sein. Das zeigt sich insbesondere beim Frühstück und im Restaurant.

Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Hotel ist schön, modern und hat sehr freundliches Personal.

Museumsbesuche, Deichspaziergänge und Restaurantbesuche sind ohne großen Aufwand möglich.

Im obersten Stock befindet sich eine sehr schöne Bar mit toller Aussicht.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen.

Alles in allem hat es uns sehr gut gefallen, das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit, alles sehr sauber, das Frühstücksbüffet lässt keine Wünsche offen! Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der vierten Etage mit Balkon zum Hafen. Es war wunderschön, nur leider trafen sich abends auf dem Parkplatz gegenüber ein paar Auto Freaks die ihre Motoren sehr laut aufheulen ließen.
Die Menükarte für abends ist leider sehr hochpreisig!

Die Unterkunft liegt nahe dem Auswandererhaus und dem Klimahaus. Wenn man ein Zimmer mit Balkon zur Hafenseite hat genießt man einen wunderschönen Blick. Wenn man mit Hund anreist wie wir muss man schon ein ganzes Stück laufen bis man eine grüne Ecke findet, daher würden wir beim nächsten mal wieder auf die andere Hafenseite ziehen. Das Parkhaus was neben dem Hotel ist ist sehr klein und extrem eng, allerdings gibt es hier 5 E-Ladesäulen. Alles in allem ist das Hotel aber zu empfehlen
