The room was clean but the air conditioning was so loud it woke us up. They provide shampoo but no conditioner or body lotion.

Pro: The room was clean. Ceiling fan compensated when we had to stop the A/C. There was availability despite last minute reservation. It did the job, allowed us a rest on the long way back home with the bonus of walking the gorges.
Con: No pool. Very noisy/loud A/C. This is a motel, with very basic sound insulation.

There was a breakfast included, but we left before its availability, so can't comment on the quality.

The motel itself was extremely outdated and frankly a little scary upon entering the room. Once we got settled in and got past the looks of it, it was very clean and well maintained. The gentleman at the front desk was lovely and helpful, the cost of the room was a little much for what it was… perhaps some updates should be in the future.

I thought generally, the property was below standard for a Travel Lodge motel. The staff were very helpful and the room was clean, but I was surprised to see the low standard of the room. The need for upgrading was very obvious.

Location was great and parking right at your door is always convenient, place was very quiet. Hotel was clean ,but still aspects of it looked a bit tired. Room had a bit of a stuffy old smell. Breakfast in the morning was a bonus, basic toast, cereal coffee, but helped start the day for a long drive ahead.

Terrible experience - Lost property stolen We accidentally left a gold ring next to the bathroom sink during our stay. We checked out and left the room at 10:30 AM yesterday, and called the hotel the very next morning to retrieve it. Management claimed the cleaning staff didn't find anything, which we know is completely false. When I expressed my frustration and mentioned leaving a negative review, the manager flatly stated they didn't care. Completely unprofessional management and an absolute lack of integrity. Stay away

Be sure not to book through Expedia
We were booking a room for Grand Falls-Windsor NF and one of the hotels that showed up was Travelodge so we booked it
When we got to Grandfalls-Windsor the address didn’t exsist After checking the reservation closer we found out it was
NB not NFL over 20 hours away
The person at the hotel was hard to communicate with and said to take up with Expedia. They said it was up to the hotel and if the hotel refused nothing they could do. So I had to pay for 2 rooms. No sympathy from Expedia or the hotel I will never use Expedia again and probably not that hotel brand as well as not recommending either Expedia or Travelodge to anyone I know

Room was great for the price! But unfortunately early in the morning someone (assuming staff with a keycard) attempted to enter my room while I was sleeping. Thankfully the chain lock was up and stopped them. But I was a female travelling alone, figured it was worth the warning. Could have been an honest mistake but it still made me uncomfortable/uneasy.

The check in process was easy and quick. The room was pretty large and the bed was comfortable. There was a whirlpool tub in the bathroom which was a nice surprise. I was disappointed that breakfast was not included or offered as in other Travelodge motels. There was an ice machine in the main office but the water machine was non-functional. There were not amenities to speak of, however as I was only spending the night what mattered, the bed and pillows were excellent.

The motel is a dump, the towels and face cloths were grey, there were stains on the chair and matching foot stool, the bedding was also grey and the pillows were horrible. I would like to reserve the right adjust this comment if necessary;

But we stayed 2 nights this past weekend for a local hockey tournament in the motel . It was fairly updated and certainly adequate for the most part . however night 2 was a bit frustrating. We discovered that the hot water wasnt working for showers ( night 1 it was), and when we went to call the front desk we discovered that the phones werent operating either ( no dial tone etc) . We assumed that the hot water tank was all used up from perhaps other guests also using the hot water for ahowers after hockey- so we set our alarms for 0600 to have a shower before leaving. Never did get a shower :( .

When we told the front desk during check out , he went to the back room and appeared to check the breaker? But then returned , said hes not sure what happened - asked if we had running water at all , but never really attempted to resolve the dilemma with us.

Kind of frustrating for what was otherwise a comfortable stay.

Just another budget motel experience. Everything feels subpar—from the upkeep to the overall atmosphere. It’s disappointing, because these places used to be owned and operated with pride, where affordability didn’t mean neglect. Now it seems like corners are cut everywhere, and attention to detail is a thing of the past.
