This hotel mandates 15% of surcharge on top of Expedia order confirmed price at check in. There is nowhere mentioned 15% of surcharge on Expedia order. There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom so the hotel room is very humid. I would not recommend this hotel.

The room facility seems be a bit old, there is mold around the bathtub, the carpet is old, the hinges on the outlet drawer and fridge door were fallen off time to time, one of window screen was not working etc.

But the stuff are very helpful and they always responded my requests and helped to fix the problem as quick as they can.

The hotel is quite safe, the stuff is nice and it is at a convenient location too. The overall of the stay is good to me. Thanks!

Old vs New

Parts of the hotel had been renovated but since I stayed in an older floor, the room looked tired and in certain need of a refresh. Staff was helpful and amenities provided were OK.

Awesome staff and location!

The room was exactly what we needed. Our flight landed late at night and the staff was still ready to give us out key and meet our needs when we arrived. One subway stop away from sanlitun and close proximity to other great spots. Reliable Wi-Fi and service. The staff offered to order use taxi to the airport. Will gladly stay again when we're back in Beijing.

It's a little older but in good condition. Room a little tight, no hairdryer in bathroom, no coffee machine in the room. they do leave 2 small water bottles every day. Wifi was very spotty. The next tower over which is part of the Landmark complex has an ATM machine, a Starbucks and a 24 hour convenience store.

Bellman coughed & his spit landed on the sleeve, picked it up and wiped on his pants. Watched housekeeper with having one cleaning container of the toilet brush she used with windex & wiping cloth.

Good airport access but old and noisy room

Airport express to Sanyuangmaqiao, easy transfer to subway line 10 and then only one stop to Liangmaqiao, from which 5 min walk to the hotel. The room was disappointing probably because we opt for the cheap rate. It was probably clean enough but didn’t feel so as everything was old and the carpet looked filthy and curtain was dirty. Lower floor has been refurbished, so may be a good idea to opt for higher rate room. Wide variety of choice at breakfast buffet. Doorman was that of 5 star hotel.

Dressed up to be nice, but not.

Like most things in China, the room had the attempt at being nice, but was anything but nice. There was mildew in the shower. The wallpaper was peeling in the room. A general uncleanliness about everything even though I had booked an \"executive suite.\" The staff was friendly and helpful, so it's more a problem of the property owner and the general lack of attention to details.

We booked 2 rooms /7th and 15th floor/. 7th floor was clean and acceptable, but the 15th floor was dirty with stains on the carpet, and the whole floor smelt like cigarette and just felt dirty and old.

The air-con is very terrible. The room is not cool at all and the hotel gave me down quilt！I asked to change for other quilt and the hotel said they only have down one. I could hardly sleep well as it was so hot at the middle of the night using the down quilt.

The facility is too old and the rate is not match with four star hotel. There was an awful smell when I entered the hotel and the lobby was not comfortable. I have never seen that old conditions in four star hotel, even gym is so obsolete. I didn't strong recommend to book that hotel. I have to book hotel in Expedia next time carefully as the description is not true. I'm so disappointed with the experience I stayed that awful hotel.

Simple, clean, great location for my general work visit and meetings in the Liangmaqiao area. Also liked being able to walk to Sanlitun via the Liangma He canal. Starbucks in the complex plus Wedome Bakery round the corner worked for me for breakfast.

Great location and hotel facilities, coffee shop restaurants, etc. very nearby but rooms are a bit dated and small. Not much for a desk in the rooms and very hard beds.
But I would stay here again because the I'm not too picky when the price is right.

The superior rooms are very dated and smell. The swimming pool is so small it should be called a bath. They tried to charge me for rooms I had prepaid for on Expedia - and when I pointed this out they did not apologise, so if you do stay here check your bill carefully. Don't use the lobby lounge they charge you per person for a cup of tea, but only give you one tea bag between a party of people. So 4 people, one tea bag £20 charge.

Ideal location for Embassy district

Clean and functional, with good customer service. Be aware, as with most hotels in China, the beds are very hard. Two minutes walk to Starbucks for quality morning coffee. Easy access by taxi for many Embassy locations, though traffic can be heavy, especially around rush hours. Plenty of restaurant options close by.

Nice hotel that needs service improvements

Facility is maintained well. Room was large and comfortable (I booked a suite for less than the cost of a small room in the US or Europe). On site restaurants were fine, though I'm not a big fan of Beijing cuisine. Starbucks is 2 minutes walk. Location is convenient half way from airport to major tourist attractions. Some rooms don't have wifi but hotel will install wifi router on request. Wifi quality was fine but internet partly-censored as expected. Valet laundry quick and efficient. Staff friendly but other than front desk and restaurant staff no one speaks English. Expect queue at checkout 8-10am, and there may be a queue at taxi line as well. Airport about 30-60 minutes taxi ride depending on traffic. Costs about 80 RMB including toll gate. Tap water not potable. Two small drinking water bottles per day provided by hotel, the rest you'll need to buy.

Tired hotel, good location.

The hotel was in a good spot but the rooms were very tired and old. I booked a non-smoking room and when I checked in confirmed that this was indeed the case. When I got to my room it was a smoking room and absolutely terrible. I then asked to be moved and was put into another room but it had 2 single beds. The room was old and the bathroom was falling apart. I wouldn't stay there again.

Landmark Apartments Hotel; Just OK

I accidently booked the Landmark Apartments Hotel. For an apartment, it was just ok, nothing special, a little ran down, carpet in need of cleaning. Not a place I would take my family to because it isn't real nice. Staff is fantastic, just hotel rooms are showing age and wear. Needs updating.

Landmark Hotel; She's Getting Old & Needs Updating

I have always stayed at the Landmark Hotel over the past few years when in Beijing. Up till this last stay, I was always pleased with the hotel. But this time, I was really disappointed in the rooms I got. AC is poor, carpet was worn and dirty (like a typical class 2 Hotel), shower curtain was dirty and the water pressure in the sink was really low. Staff is as great. Just the hotel rooms has started to show its wear and tare. I will look for a new Hotel in the future when I travel to Beijing.

Over priced and unfriendly hotel

The hotel is more of a 3 star by western standards. The staff could not speak even basic english which is important in tourism industry ... there was no way of being able to communicate to them. The buffet lunch in the restaurant serves basic buffet food but the cost was astronomical. This would have been the most expensive buffet in the world ( this coming from someone who has travelled extensively ) This hotel is definitely not value for money.

Location on the 3rd ring road is not that near to anything interesting, but is a 20min walk to sanlitun and 10 minute walk the other way to some nice local shops/restaurants (try boayuan dumplings!). Also very convenient for the airport as close to the expressway.

I was actually staying at the Landmark Apartment which is co-located with the Hotel. For the price of a room I get a one-bedroom apartment, so I had a lot of space. The downside is this hotel/apartment has been around for a while and it shows its age. I like the location which I am familiar with, and know the restaurants nearby. Not recommended if you are new to Beijing.

Six days Five nights

Stayed 5 nights in July. The location is very convenient, only a short walk from the subway and very near to the places in central Beijing (Tiananmen Sq, Forbidden City). The front desk is quick and responsive and manages reasonably with somewhat limited English.
The on-line booking price was very reasonable for Beijing. But keep in mind that the breakfast buffet is not included and neither is room internet. You have to pay an arm and a leg for breakfast buffet. But plenty of food choices outside and free Wi-Fi is good in the lobby (so you don’t really need either).
The only real negative comment I have is that the carpet outside the room was real dirty and smelly. Surprising to see a hotel of this stature not investing in a new carpet(inside room carpet was fine).

A definite strength of this hotel is its location, which is just 3 minutes away from subway station by walk. There are also several restaurants nearby with some serving 24 hrs. There are always staff to help get a taxi, which is the most stressful thing to do in beijing. Good to have hardrock cafe in the hotel. Overall experience is good.

Bathroom door was broken and could not opened. I asked staff 5 times to do something - nothing happened. Rooms are very small. Bad cost-performance of the food at the cafe-restaurant. All in all it seems the management lives in 90-s - all they can do is to ask money. There are much better hotels in Beijing for such a price.

Competent service

The Landmark hotel in Beijing is a reasonably priced alternative to the more expensive western chains, such as the Hilton and the Westin, but the trade-off is fewer amenities and enforcement of China's more restrictive Internet policies. Staff was friendly, with reasonable English skills. The reception and concierge staff were efficient and responsive. The hotel offers limited but authentic food options, and the small convenience store provided access to the necessities at fair prices. The bed had the common, rock-hard Chinese mattress, but I was able to get decent sleep, regardless. The room AC worked well, although it seemed to circulate tobacco smoke from other smoking floors, and the window did a reasonable job of shutting out the street noise from the busy highway adjacent to the hotel. One big plus was the large in-room safe, which held my laptop, Bose headphones and DSLR camera gear and lenses with room to spare. There is a Starbucks in a building on the same property, and the excellent CD Blues Care and Bar (great live music) was an easy 15 minute walk up the road. Also, the Beijing Hard Rock Cafe shared the first floor, so American fare was readily available. All in all, my stay at the Landmark was pleasant although certainly not spectacular. I can recommend it for business travelers, but if you are looking for something a little more comfortable or western style, you may want to look elsewhere.

This is a hotel that we keep going back to. It is reasonably priced and convenient to the airport and Silk Market (main shopping destination). The western style breakfast is suitable to western taste with a good range of foods. There is is Starbucks located in the Landmark complex and an Annies (Italian Restaurant) within easy walking distance.

Nice hotel near the U.S. Embassy, need renovating

This was a nice hotel, walking distance from the the U.S. Embassy and near subway stops. The room was fine, but it looked to be in need up renovation. All in all, we were satisfied, but not overly impressed. The swimming pool area was really cold, so much so that we only swam for about a half an hour and then had to go get a shower to get warm.

The hotel was very clean, friendly, spoke good English.
There was a spa, conv, store, and 3 restraunts one was the Hard rock cafe.
When I was looking to book this hotel if they mentioned the Hard rock was part of the hotel my search would have ended sooner.
I was put on the 15th floor with a great view of the city.
The room service was great and the bed soft.
This hotel is in the top 3 that I would stay at while in Beijing and I tried many in my 2month stay.

I did like this hotel a lot. Service was great. They spoke great english - even the elevator door guy knew how to say \"merry christmas.\" They really tried to make you feel comfortable! Great that the hard rock is connected to it and lots around the area. Just dont go into the basement. There were a bunch of single 18 year old women and 60 year old men doing kareoke. Well unless you are into that sort of thing!

Staff struggles a bit with English, but did not present any problems. I was on a non-smoking floor, but a number of the patrons were smoking in their rooms. Convenient location and a 25rmb cab ride to the Forbidden City and 15 rmb to the Silk Market. Walking distance to bar street and lucky street (restaurants). Room was clean and staff was pleasant.

The place like Beijing is not so convenient to find the place for breakfast, while the hotel price for a breakfast is impractically high. 窓の防音が不十分なのに注意

地下鉄駅から徒歩5分程度でロケーションは悪くない。ホテルは大通りからちょっと中に入ったところなので、エントランスがやや見つけにくい。部屋は狭いほうの部類。扉はきっちり最後まで閉めないと自動には閉まらない。一番大きな問題は、窓の防音が十分でなく、夜に道路を走る自動車の音が透過してきてとてもうるさいということ。はじめ、窓が開いているのかと思ってびっくりしましたがそうでなく、全然寝付けませんでした。このレベルで北京でなかったらだいたい5000円程度のホテルです。金額にやや見合わない。

場所は地下鉄からの出口を間違えなければ、地上に出たら目に入り、分かりやすい。
フロントは英語が話せましたが、事務的で特に可もなく不可もなし。チェックインの待ち列を無視して受付に声をかけた中国人に対して、きちんと並ぶように案内をして追い払っていたのには感心した。まだまだ並ばないし、順番とか理解できないお客もスタッフも多いのも事実ですので。
部屋は1-2人の場合、必要十分な広さ。清潔。
水回りが少し汚れていたが許容範囲。
朝食バイキングは期待していたよりも、美味しく頂けました。個人的にはお粥がオススメ。
何かの会議場だったのか、外国ビジネスマンが多かったです。
空港行きのタクシーを呼ぶ際、英語は話せないけれども、ドアマンが愛想良く対応してくれました。
全体的に何も期待をせず、ハードルを下げておけば、ストレスもなく、期待以上の満足感を得られるホテルだと思います。

フライトキャンセルで振替便が取れずに延泊する事になりました。
部屋は使い勝手は良いですが清掃はイマイチ、ティパックの追加もなくホテル案内にプール情報が無かったのでチェックアウト直前に知って泳げなかったのが残念です。
空港からのアクセスも良く朝早いフライトでも目の前から空港バスが5:25位からありますし敷地内のコンビ二も便利なので機会があれば利用しても良いかも？

当日予約のチェックインでトラブル

フライトがキャンセルになったので急遽空港から予約しましたが、疲れ切って到着したら入金がないと予約確認のアプリを見せてもチェックインさせてもらえなくて言葉も通じないし泣きそうになりました。ホテルコムに電話を入れてもらいましたが、応答がなくてつながらないので怪しいサイトではないかと疑われました。入金までには時間がかかるので、その際はデポジットを取ってチェックインさせてもらえるように、緊急な時の対応をちゃんとしてほしいです。

Excellent hotel proche d'une station de métro. Propre, confortable. Dommage que Hotels.com l'ait situé à l'opposé de son emplacement car nous avons marché trop loin pour le trouver. La piscine est petite. Excellent buffet.

幾棟かのビルがある中で一番奥のオフィスビルの１階に２４時間営業のコンビニが出来て非常に便利！！店内調理のおでんなども充実。

空港からのアクセスは便利。間隣りに亮馬河飯店があるため、ホテル棟とレジデンス棟はよく間違いやすい。今回も間違いました。間隣りだったので、移動に不便はなかったが。建物自体は年代を感じます。客室は最低限の清潔さは保っているものの、やや抵抗がありました。同じ条件でしたら、ホテル棟を予約するかもしれないです。良かったのが、レジデンス宿泊者は割安の金額でマッサージを受けることが可能。疲れはだいぶ緩和されました。
