Located next to JR Station on the line headed to arashiyama. Good stop over point. Nice to relax in the onsen after a long day's walk.

This property was amazing. Always had a private hot spring available mid day during breaks between going out. We also tried their traditional dinner and I think it was worth the price of trying. Smoking rooms were comfortable and clean as well. Also the Yukata free rental was a nice touch.

The hotel got some nice videos by travellers. The private bath is always busy. The free sweets is provided in certain period & it is hard not to miss it. Ramen is provided in certain period in the same small room for the welcome tea. (the lady serve the welcome snack doesn't look very happy). there was a long queue & the room is very crowded. My teenager daughter just couldn't be bothered & gave it up. The serving staff are friendly but it still feels awkward to queue for the free Ramen.

The public bath is very nice.

The room looks nice. Toilet is away from washing basin, makes it feel weird because you can't wash your hands right after. It is hard to sit on the couch to use the coffee table so we sit on the tatami, however there is no sitting cushion. Overall we think the room is more about looks & Japanese feel, rather than function focus.

Our room faces the train station. A window sheer would be nice to gain lights & privacy at the same time.

The corridor is set nicely in Japanese style. The hotel is quiet despite the Ramen chaos. We didn't hear any train noise. that's very impressive.

We didn't feel anything particular about Japanese hospitality. We see some housekeeping staff for a couple of times. No one bothers to look at us at all, even though we are ready to say good morning. Compared with three western style hotels we stayed in this trip, this is quite surprising.

Absolutely loved this hotel. This hotel gives traditional Japanese vibes. You take your shoes off and put them in lockers and walk around the hotel barefoot. Make sure to wear socks. They offer free socks, toothbrushes, etc and cups of tea. There are men and women onsens along with private onsens. We utilized the private onsens which were very nice and clean. Our room was amazing! There was a little room for the toilet and then across your hall was the sink and shower. Then there was another room for the bed which had a small couch and tv. Everything was very clean. It did not feel weird walking around in your socks the whole time. The staff was very nice. We were getting back late one night and had ordered UberEats but our food arrived before we reached the hotel. We told them our room number and to leave at the front desk. The front desk held our delivery and confirmed we were the right people picking up the food. The hotel is right next to a train stop which is one stop from the Kyoto line. I highly recommend this hotel and would 100% stay there again.

Return visit to this hotel because we loved ita cleanliness, private onsen and hospitality in service. It was slightly disappointing as the special pillow options ran out the day we arrived. Initially we thought it was because we checked in late on our first day but the pillows were basically non existent. Hope they work somehting out for the system to ensure each guests gets to choose a pillow fairly

The location is good. Just a short 3 minutes' walk from the JR station. There is a convenient shop nearby and one JR stop will bring you to Kyoto Station where you can connect to the other parts of Kyoto.
The hotel is very clean and staff are very helpful. The hotspring is comfortable, with 5 private onsens and 2 public onsens to cater to all needs. There are additional perks such as welcome drinks, snacks, ice-cream and lamen available every day.
The room is spacious and well equipped, with hair-dryer, fridge and safe and also choices of pillow. Bed is comfortable, aircon is strong and water pressure is good.
The breakfast has a large variety and delicious, with lots of items includes rice, noodle, fish, meat, vegetables, eggs, soup and many others.
Overall I am very happy with my stay in this hotel and I would like to recommend travellers to this hotel.

The room was nice, but had a strong musty smell. The staff were all very attentive and helpful. I really found turning in the shoe storage key for the room key at reception every time you went on and out of the hotel quite annoying and really don’t understand the concept and why it’s necessary. Best perk was enjoying the private onsen And being supplied with traditional Japanese robes and pajamas.

Great Onsen hotel close to city centre

Great Onsen hotel in the heart of the town, just one station away from Kyoto station, really great location for those who cannot afford the time to travel far for Onsen hotel. The hotel is clean and tidy, great service, and I really like the private baths that I can share with my family instead of strangers in public bath, and the wait was reasonable. The breakfast was good, more Japanese style options which are what we wanted. The Kaiseki dinner was good, though I had more delicious ones elsewhere before, still good value for money and nice experience overall. Definitely want to stay here again!

A small hotel tucked away in an alley. We walk right by at first and didn't even see it. This hotel is clean, easy to navigate and doesn't have a huge amount of amenities. There's a washer dryer (500 yen total) on first floor with the vending machines. There's a tiny garden out front and that's it. Honestly, if you're in Kyoto you will be out exploring anyway. It's close enough to Gojo subway which is one station away from Kyoto Station. The rooms are spacious enough and the beds are comfortable. Price per night is excellent and affordable. Check out just requires you to put a sign up on your door and put your check out paper into a box the day of at 10:00am.

This is one of the fancier hotel we've booked for your trip this year and it was so worth it. Although we can only get 1 night, this was the best night in our 2 week stay in Japan. From the cleanliness of the hotel, to the warm welcome of the staff, and the many options of Onsens, this is one hotel I would recommend anyone to book really early. The no shoe throughout the hotel is awesome. I dont have to worry about my feet getting dirty from outside street germs being brought in. The Onsens are all very serene in their own way and I love that the wait isnt too long. Then we have the abundance of free services they provide from amenities, refreshments, snacks and free rentals of Yukata and 5 different kinds of pillow! I got the basic quadrupal room and it was so cute!!! Enough space for my family of 4 and they have cute hotel clothes that we can wear throughout the hotel besides the yukata. The kaiseki dinner was good and we got to try many traditional japanese dishes but nothing could beat that breakfast buffet they had. So so so many options to choose from and I really stuffed myself because I wanted to try alot of things. Overall this hotel is a 5 star for me and if I get a chance to come to Japan again, I will definitely come back!

The hotel was beautiful, the amenities - especially the private baths - were great. Staff were friendly and the location was very handy to get around from. The only thing that was a bit of an issue was the key system: you're only given one set of keys and you must always exchange your key with access to your shoes or vice versa, so just stepping out for some air was such a chore, especially when the front desk is packed with people checking in or just wanting to get their shoes.

This is not just a hotel. It’s a cultural experience. If I can give 10 stars I would! From the staff to hotel room to breakfast experience.. I feel so lucky to experience all these things in my Japan trip.
Their hot spring experience is out of this world.
They offer pro biotic drink, soba noodles, ice pops and beautiful yukata.
Conveniently located next to the train station.
My only regret was not to stay longer in this hotel.
I would definitely come back with my family in a near future.

Loved our family stay here and wish to go back to Kyoto just to stay here again. Had wonderful time enjoying their many bath facilities and enjoying delicious Kaiseki Dinner. Breakfast Buffet was great with endless varieties for all ages/tastes. Make Sure to Include Breakfast So you don’t miss out.
While language barrier is a slight issue for non-Japanese speakers, every staffs were very friendly and tried to help using translation app.

Love everything about this hotel. They offer half board for the booking, which I didn’t expect it to be a 5-6 course dinner followed by breakfast buffet with a great variety of food option. The hotel doesn’t allow you to wear shoes inside, but provides slippers and everywhere is covered with tatami mat. Also love the public and the private onsen, the various free treats/ice cream pop, and noodles at odd hours. Would definitely stay again and recommend to other people!

島根の共立リゾート（佳雲＆月夜のうさぎ）に宿泊した際に、両宿ともとても良い宿だったため、今回こちらを予約しました。
しかしながら、今回はいくつか残念に感じる点がありました。
宿泊客のマナーが良くなく、受付で大声を出したり、貸切風呂ではカップルが2か所の前に1人ずつ座り、空いた方に入るといった使い方をしていたため、なかなか順番が回ってきませんでした。
夕食は全体的には美味しかったものの、魚の天ぷらはやや生臭さがあり、黒毛和牛のすき煮には軟骨が混ざっていて残念でした。朝食ビュッフェの果物も傷んでいるものがあり、全体的に料理のクオリティが低く感じられました。
その中で、夜鳴きそばは部屋に持ち帰って食べることができ、味も良く、良かった点だと思います。
期待していただけに、残念な気持ちが強く残る宿泊となりました。

素晴らかったです。
素晴らしい中の辛口にはなりますが、フロント対応に時間がかかり、予約した内容と年齢区分が違う？いやまてまて。私はこのサイトに従っただけやぞ、、
