10/10, miss it already, wish i could go back instead of being at an airbnb! Excellent service, spacious rooms, great area - very convenient. Very clean, amenities are excellent, everything was perfect. Easily one of my best hotel stays.

Staff were absolutely wonderful! It was a nice small room perfect for 2 people. One of my favorite things was their delicious breakfasts, i high recommend buying it in the mornings. Wonderful stay!!! Easy access to kyoto station as well!

The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The room provided all the necessary amenities. Despite our early arrival, the receptionist was kind enough to accommodate an early check-in. The laundry room was convenient, and complimentary tea, water, and daily towel changes were provided. The beds were also very comfortable.

Hidden gem near Kyoto station about a 10-12 minute walk. The rooms are spacious enough for 3 people as the rooms have a pull out couch. Staff and service was nice. Close to a lot of places. Bathrooms were also spacious, they were a shower-tub fusion but could have been a bit cleaner.

My family of 17 members all booked a room at the Shiki Suites.we had a pleasant stay and lots of dinning options. Rooms are comfortable for a family of 4. Great for walking to the station.

The location is very quiet. There are many restaurants on both sides of the main road within a five-minute walk. Kyoto Station is a 15-minute walk away. The room was very clean and large. There was no cramped space for four people and two large suitcases.

They were very accommodating! We needed a 2nd room because with 3 adults, there was no privacy and they found a vacancy for us. They made the bed for our 3rd adult. The premium room with spa was amazing! If staying in the area, we would choose to stay again!

Good location, about 15 to Kyoto station, less to local bus stops beer week connected. Easy walk to many restaurants. Staff were great, very helpful very friendly and made our stay feel special. Highly recommended, would street here again.

The hotel is located in a quiet residential area and is close to Kyoto train station (about 10 mins walk) and bus stops. There are convenient stores nearby. Many restaurants are located in the Kyoto station area. The hotel is clean and the staff is helpful (no room service during your stay though, but you can ask for anything, like a chair of towel, from the front office)

One thing to keep in mind is that the front desk is NOT 24 hour (8am-9 or 10pm). If you will arrive late, do contact the hotel in advance to arrange a self-check in (they have a key box outside the front office) so you a room to rest.

Staff were helpful. Hotel is 11 mins walk to Kyoto Station. There’s a bar at the hotel lobby that serves good sake and appetizers. It’s a boutique hotel so don’t expect the large hotel amenities. They have a laundry area which you can use for free. It’s clean, quiet, and in a residential area. Only downside is that there are not a lot of restaurant options until you get to the train station.

We spent 3 nights in this hotel, and it was perfect for our family of 3. My daughter slept on the pull out sofa and since it was a little separated from our sleeping area she had more privacy than any other place we stayed in Japan. There was a free shared laundry facility right across from our room which was very convenient. We never got a chance to check out the bar and restaurant downstairs, but it seemed nice. The location was only about a 10 minute walk from Kyoto station so it was easy to find great food options and get around. The only tricky thing was there wasn’t a lot of room to open our bags because the pull out sofa took up the living space, but we made it work!

This was a good room for 3 people, in that we had a sofa bed in the 'living room' and a bedroom with two beds. There were convenient places to put 2 of our 3 suitcases. The room was clean, but when 3 people live there without daily housekeeping, it doesn't really stay so clean. The washer/dryer were great to use for free (English directions would be nice), but the lint catcher had not been cleaned in a long time, so all our clothes came out with lint all over them. We tried to find the lint catcher to clean it for the next person, but failed to find it. When you have the third person on the sofa bed, it pretty much blocks the kitchenette, so you could not really cook in there unless you close the bed up each day. Otherwise, great place to stay as it's close to the JR Train Station.

Amazing little hotel in kyoto , we had a jacuzzi on the deck and it was lovely.

Room was clean and spacious, quiet and the food in the little restaurant was excellent and cheap be careful we ordered a lot as the cheap prices fooled us into thinking this was snack sized plates🙈 we got a shock when it was brought out tried our best to finish it but it was a lot of food either way very tasty.

If I come back to kyoto I'd definitely stay again was excellent value for such a large comfortable clean and convenient room.

Conveniently located within walking distance of Kyoto Station, also only 4 minutes from the bus stop where you can catch a ride to the downtown area. Taxi stand is a couple blocks to the east at one of the larger hotels nearby.

Although the laundry within the hotel is on the slow side (the dryer takes 2+ hours to finish), there is a coin laundry a few minutes away. Convenience store is also nearby.

Easy check in process. We would stay here again.

This place was fantastic. The room was large with a bathroom and hallway separating the kind sized bed from the futon. The hot tub on the enclosed patio was a nice way to relax at the end of the day. It was a short and easy walk from the train station and an even shorter walk to the bus stop. 7-11 was just a 5 minute walk away. The staff was fantastic.

We were very disappointed as we did not have a properly functioning shower and were not informed about this until arrival so we’re unable to do much about it. We requested a change in room but none were available and no solution was suggested. The rest of the hotel was satisfactory but this caused us to not to feel very comfortable and relaxed. The walls in the rooms appeared very tired and grimy. It was a real shame

The room is so beautiful with typical Japanese inferior design. Normally, Japan’s hotel or suite is small, but this suite is so spacious. The location is near to Kyoto station, so it is easy to grab food or accessible to other locations. The staff is nice and considerate with communicable language. For what could be improved, I think the room service can be provided twice a day to clean up the rubbish bin. Also, the internet network is not smooth with poor connection at all. But all in all, this property is so comfy and I do really suggest all of you to book this property if you stop by Kyoto.

This is a great place about a 10 minute walk to Kyoto station and other bus stops. The rooms are pretty spacious. The rear bedroom area has a patio. The middle was a good size bathroom and the front has a small kitchenette and fold out couch. My family of four (kids 10 & 8yo) were quite comfortable here. The hotel does not do daily trash, towels , etc. (American style). Very nice place!

Housekeeping’s quality varies from day to day. We stayed for a week. House cleaning not consistent. Two days before didn’t throw away the trash and this morning they didn’t replace coffee packs and didn’t empty and replace tiolet trash bag. Kind of disappointed because other than this, all have been great. A pity. Could have hit 10/10.

Could not be happier to stay in this wonderful cozy place in Kyoto. Honestly I would like to come visit few more times because of this hotel. Highly recommend whoever want to relax and chill after wandering the city, the VIP jacuzzi room is a must! Great staff and nice facilities make customers like me very satisfy! :D

Amazing little place you may just walk by without noticing; I did! lol This hotel is quite a gem! Good prices, and incredibly friendly staff. They also rent out wi-fi hotspots that were essential for our travel with no cell phone service. Just threw it in the backpack and was ready to see the sights. Rooms were incredibly spacious after coming from Tokyo and staying in one of their shoe-box rooms lol I chatted up the Brit manning the desk on our last day and got some good pointers on moving there, I fell in love with the country and Kyoto so much :D I left my cell-phone on a bullet train from Kyoto to Tokyo in a train mixup (got on one of the bullet trains not covered by the JR pass), I saw some high-school kids waving frantically as the train sped off from the station we temporarily hopped off on making a cell phone shape and banging on the windows with their hands and realized they were trying to let us know the phone was left in the seat... my first thought was actually \"you know, I bet it'll be in the lost in found when we get to Tokyo\", and ya know what? It was. One of the train conductors even walked us over to meet someone, so it should go without saying that the politeness of the culture was rather amazing. Not like here in the 'States, where this Iraq war combat vet is constantly anxious about what lunatic may be packing a gun...

A little gem of a hotel!

The Shiki Suites Hotel is fabulous. Every single person we met in this hotel was warm,welcoming and so helpful. The suites are spacious,clean, modern and comfortable. The location is ideal to use as a base as it is a close walk to Kyoto station. It is located in a quiet street away from traffic and hustle and bustle. The bar/restaurant is well stocked and a lovely area to wind down after a day sight seeing. We recommend Shiki Suites very highly, it was a home away from home for our visit. Thanks for a great stay!

This place was an EXCELLENT find in Kyoto. It is located within easy walking distance of Kyoto station. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. There are only 10 suites, so it will not be crowded with people. The rooms were pristine with cleanliness. The towels and linens were fresh and smelled amazing. The body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were provided in generous amounts and also smelled amazing. We loved that it had a kitchenette and a beautiful flat screen TV that you can wind down while watching Netflix on. We throughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Very clean room conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood 15 walk (5 mins taxi ride) from Kyoto Station.

Our family of four particular like the design of the room and bathroom. The space was efficiently used while giving us privacy.

The only issue we have was our next door guests with a baby/toddler who loves to scream/cry at the top of his/her lungs during night time (and the parents does not seem to care to stop him/her). The wall is thick enough to prevent us from hearing next guest rooms TV/conversation but not enough to deter us from hearing the determined baby's cry. It's just our bad luck.

Staffs are really courteous during check-in and check-out. A staff helped us to called a taxi during our checkout and requested a tourist friendly taxi which has enough room (those hatch back ones with larger trunks) to fit our four luggage. A couple of staff came out and bid farewell to us when we were loading up to our taxi. Japanese hospitality to the finest! Will definitely come back for my next Kyoto stay. Arigato!

L’endroit est difficile à trouver la première fois , taxi pas capable de nous y conduire , débarquer proche de l’hôtel et on a demander l’aide à 2 locaux , ne savaient pas où c’était , la 3ieme a réussi . Mon chum a renverser une bière sur les lits et on a dû débourser 64$ pour le nettoyage , la chambre est propre mais le restant du bâtiment c’est moyen . On entend les trains et les voisins pour ceux qui ont les oreilles fines mais après 11h tout était calme . Un quartier plus vieux et moins commercial . En général c’était bien

Tuvimos un lugar muy cómodo, con todo lo necesario para nuestra estancia de 6 días, desde pijamas, pantuflas, amenidades de higiene personal, toallas suficientes, sobrillas, espacio para lavado y secado de ropa y ayuda personal cuando se requirió.

La propiedad está muy bien cuidada, es realmente facil hacer Check in ya que su sistema es muy eficaz.
Puedes llegar de la estacion de Kioto al hospedaje caminando y tienes muchos lugares al rededor para poder comer y pasar un buen rato.
El staff me permitio terminar de cercar mi ropa aun cuando ya habia hecho el check out, sin duda, lo recomendaría.

我進入飯店時,門口及接待處大堂地方狹窄,清潔程度不理想接待處洗手間有點骯髒,進入客房的時候,已經感覺房間清潔不理想, 房間隔音很差,鄰房的談話聲清晰可聽,沒有客房每日清潔服務,沒有瓶裝水供應,員工質素參差,根本不是酒店,只像一間旅館,不知道貴網站為何評定它是一間三星級酒店.我感覺被貴網站誤導了。這間旅館不適合渡假旅遊的住宿.

民泊施設を初めて利用しました。
他の方の口コミでわかってはいましたが、ベッドからはTVは見れません。想像していたより不便に感じました。リビングのソファーは残念ながらへたっていて座り心地悪しでした。ベッドルームは電気を消すと真っ暗です、照明ではないライトが欲しかったです。洗面所の扉の内側にかなりほこりがついていました。ゴミは各自で部屋の外へ、連泊の場合は自分で外のゴミ箱へ出すと部屋に書かれていて驚きました。ミニキッチンがついてますが付近に調理するようなものを扱っている店舗、コンビニもありません。
ベッドルームとリビングが離れているのでスイートルーム感があり広く使えました。ベッドは硬めで気持ち良く眠れました。住宅地にあり静かな環境です。
