Looks good on the outside but the rooms are dreadful. Old style Novotel with visibly dirty wallpapered walls and our family room was so small you couldn’t walk around it without stepping on the beds. Cheap yes, but just too poor nowadays. Pity because the staff were very good and the chef and waiter in the restaurant produced superb food and service.

Nice hotel and location

Wide rooms. Good location. Clean rooms. Nice toiletries. Excellent for a business visit or a transit. Car parking is available (surcharge). The Restaurant in the ground floor is very nice. Breakfast is good but not excellent. Location is very good being close to city center.

Decent place, well located

The hotel is easy to find and on the edge of the old part of the city. Hence, it's accessible by car but only a 5 minute walk to the city centre, restaurants, etc. Reception was friendly and helpful and the room was fine - spacious and comfortable. Decent sized bathroom and separate WC. Didn't try breakfast. Only downside was the fact that the hotel were refurbishing the wooden parquet on the ground floor during my visit, hence there was an overpowering smell of adhesive on that floor. Not apparent on the upper (bedroom) floors though.

Weekend stay at conference hotel

This is a good hotel. Rooms were immaculate. Public spaces were spacious. The only downside was that this is a conference centre with a capacity of several hundred and at the weekend there were only a couple of dozen people in the whole hotel. The atmosphere was eerie.

Novotel in Belfort France

For the price it was a very good room. If you're a smoker it's one of the only places in Belford to stay.
It was located just a few blocks from the main Plaza in Belfort, and only a few more blocks away from the citadel and the lion of Belfort. Overall a very nice place to stay on a budget. Also good for business. Close to Ahstrom and General Electric.

Novotel Belfort Centre Atria

A good hotel in a boring town. We stayed in a quadruple room which was very nice. Parking garage in the basement of the hotel was cheap. Two computers with free internet access for hotel guests in the lobby. There was plenty of food to choose from the breakfast table and it can be recommended.

Nice chain hotel in a lovely town

Fairly standard for a Novotel, the hotel was very clean, my room (standard one bedroom) was quite spacious by European standards, and very reasonably priced. The location was great, just a few minutes' walk to both the old town main square and the newer part of town, and right next door to the Covered Markets (beautiful fresh food). My hopelessly inadequate French was not needed as all staff spoke English. The in-house restaurant had a pretty limited menu, and the room service menu was very limited outside of regular kitchen hours, but the food that was available was good. The front desk staff were happy to supply a list and map of all local restaurants. Travelling alone, I felt safe at all times in this hotel, and could happily recommend it to any other lone travellers.

Nice hotel.

We just needed a place to sleep overnight on our way to southern France.
We stayed 3 persons in a room. It was allright and staff was very sweet.
A few minutes walk from the centrum, which was very nice.
Breakfast was allright. Everything seemed fresh.
All in all a nice stay for a low price.

Værelse ok stand, men slidt. Generelt fremstår hotellet slidt. Aftensmad levede slet ikke op til forventninger eller pris, de var ligeglade med at fx pommes ikke var lavet ordentligt, svømmede i fedt og helt bløde. Morgenmad var ok udvalg, men kolde scrambled eggs mv. Nemt med en enkelt overnatning, da den ligger tæt på motorvejen.

Belfort für eine Nacht

Dieses Hotel hat schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Der Fahrstuhl von der Tiefgarage zur Lobby war außer Funktion. Über einen Umweg (Außentreppe) kam man zum Haupteingang. Die automatische Eingangstür war defekt und man musste sie selbst aufschieben. Der Check-In sowie der Check-Out am Morgen danach waren perfekt und sehr professionell. Das Zimmer war ok, das Bett angenehm. Das Frühstücksbuffe ausreichend. Das die Tiefgarage nicht im Preis inbegriffen war hätte ich gerne vorher gewusst.

Vi fick ett rum med utsikt över stenmuren/borgen, otroligt vackert. Själva hotellet är helt okej, en del faciliteter är stängda pga covid (som t.ex. restaurangen). Bra rum för familjer pga stor bäddsoffa. Parkering under hotellet men vi hade takbox så vi kunde inte komma in.

Chewing-gum sur un mur de la chambre, insectes dans les céréales du petit déjeuner, fuite d'eau dans la salle de bain de notre chambre (la faute à personne, mais reflète un peu l'impression de vétusté de l'établissement...), les horaires du petit déjeuner pas communiqué à notre arrivée, bref ça ne vaut pas les tarifs appliqués, loin de là.

Huone oli kuluneempi kuin, mitä olemme tottuneet Novotel-hotelleissa olevan. Ilmastointi ei toiminut kunnolla, vaan pukkasi vain lämmintä ilmaa. Ikkunaa piti pitää tämän vuoksi auki. Huolimatta oveen jätetystä älä häiritse -lapusta, huone oli käyty siivoamassa. En tiedä kaupungin muiden hotellien tasosta, mutta esimerkiksi lähellä Colmarissa Novotel oli todella paljon parempi.

Kein deutsches Fernsehprogramm, Einstellungen am Fernseher, z.B. Untertitel war vorhanden, konnte aber nicht aktiviert werden.
Frühstück mit 16,50 € pro Person zu teuer. Das Angebot können wir nicht beurteilen, weil wir es wegen dem Preis mit 5 Personen nicht in Anspruch genommen haben.
Haben sehr lecker in der Altstadt in einem kleinen Cafe´ gefühstückt für insgesamt 35 € mit Getränken. (nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt)
Hotel-Parkhaus muss extra bezahlt werden. Wir konnten sehr gut vor dem Hotel kostenfrei parken.

Perfekt stopp på genomresa

Konferenskänslan är tydlig men servicen personlig. Vi hade fint och fräscht på vårt rum, inget att klaga på.
Hotellet är enkelt att ta sig till och ligger bra till för att utforska Belfort till fots, endast en kortare promenad till livligt centrum med flera krogar. Hotellets egen parkering i garaget var enkel att nå.
Frukosten var en av de bättre vi har ätit på franska hotell. Inget överdådigt men gott och fräscht.
Ett bra stopp på vägen ner eller upp genom Europa som vi kan tänka oss igen.

Bien sauf restaurant

Bon hôtel, c’est le plus confortable du coin, bon petit-déjeuner par contre restaurant le soir à Éviter!! Room service : plat arrivé en chambre froid (pas mis sous cloche pour garder le repas chaud), gambas infectes, trop dures et moisi (partie verte sous la tête), salade de fruit soit disant frais: tout ramollit, fruits coupés datant d’au moins 1 semaine, bref à Éviter ! Par contre je souligne le geste commercial lors du Check out: le dîner (non consommé) n’a pas été facturé après avoir répondu à la question:  « tout c’est bien passé ? » oui sauf le dîner..
Je recommande sauf pour y dîner.

Hotel an zentraler Lage in Belfort

Das Hotel zentral und trotzdem ruhig in Belfort gelegen und hat eigene Parkplätze (Einstellhalle). Zu Fuss ist man in wenigen Gehminuten in der Altstadt und auf der Zitadelle. In der Altstadt hat es Restaurants und Bars. Zu den Einkaufsgeschäften ist es etwa 15 Minuten zu Fuss.

Det var lätt att hitta hotellet, bra skyltat. Hotellet ligger i ena kanten av Belfort, i en stor konferensanläggning. Vänlig, engelsk språkig reception. Snabb och smidig incheckning. Stort rum med bäddsoffa, dusch och separat toalett. Tyst och lugnt. Välstädat och fräscht, dock inget boutique-hotell. Restaurangen serverade mat till klockan 22.30 ;-) Frukosten helt ok, barn upp till 16 utan kostnad. Bra parkering i källaren. Trevlig utcheckning. Staden erbjuder mycket för den historiskt intresserade. Enorma befästningar från 17-1800-talet.

Hotel leider unkooperativ. Buchung wurde durch offensichtlichen Übertragungsfehler Trivago/Expedia um eine Woche zu früh bestätigt. Stornierung per mail am Sonntag blieb unbeachtet.
Richtige Buchung wäre doppelte Bettenanzahl gewesen. Geringfügige Kompensation hätte mir schon gereicht.
Neu Buchung in anderem Ort und anderer Hotelkette. Bin von berufswegen bei Novotel gelistet. Werde mich trotz Bonus abmelden.

Bewertung entspricht nicht den Tatsachen

Das Speisenangebot zum Diner war sehr übersichtlich. Bei 5 Hauptspeisen aus der Karte waren 2 nicht verfügbar. Die Bestuhlung im Restaurant war sehr abgewetzt und unansehnlich. Zu späterer Stunde waren keine alkoholischen Getränke mehr über Service und Minibar zu erwerben.
Das Fenster im Zimmer konnte man nicht öffnen und der Leibungsbereich im Fenster war schon schwarz vom Schimmel, zudem war das Fenster mit Rahmen sehr sehr schmutzig.
Der Gesamteindruck lässt sich max. als 3 Sterne Haus bewerten und für die Gesamtbewertung würde ich eine 7,0 vergeben.
Diese Einstufung resultiert aus verschiedenen Hotelbesuchen meinerseits und somit weiß ich, wovon ich rede.
Für gehobene Ansprüche nicht zu empfehlen.

Bon hôtel mais les chambres auraient grand besoin d'être renovées. La rouille sur les huisseries, les toilettes constamment malodorantes, les faïences vétustes et autres petits désagréments (évier bouché par exemple) ont quelque peu altéré notre sejour. Pour ce qui est des chambres, on est plus dans un 3 etoîles qu'un 4 étoiles.
