The continental breakfast was good but very limited choice of spread for toast or rolls i.e. only chocolate or strawberry jam and fortunately don’t like either usually you find marmalade a very popular choice but not available here only criticism we had we definitely stay here again

Checkin was quick and easy. The room was tidy but the bunk bed wasn’t made and there was black hair on the sheets.

The room was cleaned everyday as the bin was emptied and we received clean towels on our second night,but we could have done with receiving another toilet roll mid stay.

Staff was helpful and the process to extend out checkout was easy. £10 per hour extra and it only cost £2 to store our bags after checkout.

Immaculately clean room, comfy beds and very helpful, friendly staff. Location was perfect for great bars and restaurants and within walking distance of the Cathedral and Titanic quarters.
Yes the rooms are small but we had everything that we needed and there was plenty of under bed storage to put our luggage, tea and coffee were free down in the lobby. Considering its central location we didn't hear any traffic noise whatsoever on the 4th floor.
Parking was right next to the hotel in Little Victoria Street, we arrived on Sunday and it was free until 8am the next morning so it only cost us around 14 euro for our 2 night stay. There is a Wetherspoon pub less than 3 mins walk away if you fancy a cheap drink.
Perfect for a couple of nights in Belfast.

Staff was helpful and check in was simple. We did have a big problem with parking. I had received a message from the property giving me parking instructions. When we went to go there, we realized it was permanently closed. I messaged the property and they said it was closed and to continue on to this other multi story car park they were associated with. We realized this car park was not near the hotel and decided to park in outside, uncovered parking behind the hotel. The room was basic but clean enough. I didnt like that they didnt provide a hair dryer.

This was not a bad stay, especially considering the price. The room was small, but that was to be expected. The property showed some sign of age, but it was overall very clean. The staff was friendly and there was also pizza, snacks, and drinks available in the lobby, which I didn't expect.

Location is pretty decent as well. Quite close to the City Centre and there a few shops and a Tesco Express on the street, which is convenient.

I did have cleaning staff come into my room on a couple occasions when I had asked them not to and posted the sign on the door, so that was a bit annoying, but otherwise a good stay.

Budget means worse than travel lodge and more expensive . Only plus point is its central location . Rooms small and needs renovating . Shower tiny and you best know your room mate well as absolutely no space to change clothes before or after showering except in room . No room coffee or tea (these are available in foyer as there are coffee sachets there but this is not well publicised) . Very small bath towels in room with no face towels . Also never been in a hotel that you have to pay to store your luggage for a few hours after check out. Also expensive at nearly £100 per night .

I had a generally very positive stay here. The staff were genuinely helpful and friendly throughout, and the property was always clean and well-maintained. The location is excellent — everything you need is within walking distance, which made getting around really convenient.
The only thing I wish I had paid closer attention to before booking (my own oversight) was the room layout. I booked a double bed but would have preferred twins, and more importantly, the toilet and shower are in separate areas with limited privacy. That was the only downside for me, as it felt a bit exposed compared to a standard combined bathroom.
Overall, I would still recommend this place for its great location, cleanliness, and service. Just make sure to double-check the bathroom configuration if privacy is important to you.

This is a hostel, not a hotel. The toilet was blocked and unusable, and there no proper door on the toilet, it’s essentially in the room with the bed. Shower and sink directly in the room too, and the shower was plastic rather than tiled. Sockets on the opposite side of the room to the bed. The room is far too small, could barely get around the bed. Stayed in a triple room and the bunk bed was very uncomfortable and small.

Paid €650 for three triple rooms in April, it’s exorbitantly expensive for what you get.
The breakfast was very expensive for cold continental food.

So this bunk bed room isn’t exactly the “family” room I thought I reserved. Not sure how a family shares a room where the shower walks out directly by the bed, unless they are a family of nudists. We had to leave the room to provide privacy so we could take turns showering! This room was so small you could barely maneuver around your luggage, and it was very hot even with the air conditioning on. The fitted sheet on the top bunk was so tiny it didn’t even cover the mattress and the single pillow they provided was wafer thin. When I asked the receptionist for more linens and another pillow she acted confused and told me they didn’t have any more. What kind of hotel doesn’t have pillows? I told her that couldn’t be correct and she magically provided one. This hotel is basically like sleeping in a hostel with an airplane bathroom. It was WAY too expensive for how basic and horribly uncomfortable it was. I regret ever getting this reservation.

From the moment we entered the hotel there was a noticeable unpleasant smell in the entrance area which felt like it was being masked with air freshener rather than properly resolved.

Although the room appeared clean at first glance, on closer inspection the cleaning felt fairly superficial. There was visible dust around the toilet door frame and the sink was stained.

There was also a constant noise issue from two drain covers on the road outside the hotel. Every time a car drove over them they made a loud banging sound, which became particularly noticeable at night.

Overall the property felt quite tired and gave off more of a hostel-like atmosphere than a hotel. While I appreciate it’s a budget option, I would still expect a better standard for the price.

The staff were the one positive, all were friendly and helpful during our stay.

Comfortable and clean room in a pleasant hotel just a short walk south of Donegall Sq. Situated in Dublin Rd, it is close of the main bus routes and roads to the city centre

Whilst the room was a reasonable size, it doesn't have a table or chair and the bathroom sink is in a corner of the room. However the toilet and shower are in separate amenities.

Staff were available at all times to answer any questions and they provided a good service. Wi-fi was pretty good as well

The ibis budget is the definition of a budget hotel. You get a bed, a shower and a toilet, with just enough room to walk around the bed. Not much space for luggage or to hang clothes, no extras like a kettle and coffee/tea. That said it's a good location within 10-15 minute walk to both Belfast Grand Central and Donegall Square. It's comfortable enough if you just need a place to sleep at a relatively cheap price.

It's in an area close to the city centre but there's a lot of building work going on so it was pretty noisy.
The room I was in was a bit battered- the tiles around the bathroom were cracked and things didn't look clean but thankfully the bed linen itself was.
The staff I encountered were nice. Check in was smooth. The coffee from the machine was ok at ridiculous o'clock. Staff called me a taxi early in the morning. I can't comment on the breakfast as I had to leave before it was served.
The main reason my score is poor is because I was close to the floor fire door which was so much in need of oil that the noise of it frequently opening drove me crazy while I tried to get sleep before an early flight. I thought I'd save on airport parking and get a good night's sleep before an early flight- I didn't get much sleep and I definitely wouldn't stay here again.

It very much lives up to the \"budget\" in the name. Fine for one night, but I couldn't imagine having to stay here for any longer than that. A personal bugbear of mine is plug sockets being in stupid places; my room had this. Two sockets in total, both away from the bed. There was also a weird issue with the light in the room, which meant it wouldn't turn off at the switch. I had to remove the key card, try and put it back in while it was dark and turn it off that way. Overall, it was somewhere to sleep for one night. I spent very little time there, but I couldn't imagine having to stay here for any longer than the single night I did.

I really enjoyed my stay. The location is so convenient, only a kilometer to Grand Central Station and to the city centre. Breakfast buffet doesn’t have a lot of options but is plentiful and of good quality. Staff are friendly and were helpful when I had a question.
