The place was awesome, beautiful views, nice pool, good safe parking. There is no housekeeping while there which is fine, but would be helpful to have some basic cleaning supplies available like a broom, dish soap, cleaning towels/paper towels. We went and bought some supplies, a little drive but not a big deal. We would definitely stay there again, a little more decoration inside would lively it up a little though.

Staff was helpful and sorted a car rental issue and provided a fan.
Here’s the thing, our unit is ‘tired’. It was clean enough (floors, bed, bathroom, cupboards) but walls are dirty/marked by years of use. Things like ledges, handles, baseboards had layers of grit. We purchased cleaning supplies and spent time daily to increase the cleanliness.
The location, security and amenities were great although we watched guests clean the pool of debris daily.
Would I stay there again or recommend… maybe… it would depend on the guest expectations and tolerance.

Walk to the beach! Easy drive to all things in Curacao. Quiet area. We stayed in Type F unit #11 3 bedrooms. Livingroom and patio furniture need to be updated as they are quite old with sagging wicker. Restaurant onsite and across the road were both good with friendly staff! Refreshing outdoor shower and pool for returning from beaches. Beautiful sunsets!!! I will definitely book here again!!!

Do not stay here. We were here for 8 nights and at least unit 9 was a complete dump. All the furniture was falling apart and the beds were some of the most uncomfortable beds I have slept on in my 44 years. There was construction every morning that would start around 6 a.m. until early afternoon. The furniture on the back porch and balcony were old plastic chairs and falling apart or really old wooden furniture with the cushions smelling like mold. The pool was not well taken care of and half the time I saw the people staying there cleaning the leafs and debris out of the pool. This place is not worth your money please find somewhere else to stay. Oh ya the lagoon part of the beach/ocean has standing sewage not far away that you can smell even if the wind is not blowing your way.

Nice place would stay again. The only strange thing was they charge for A/C. So we only ran it in the bedroom for 3 days and the bill was 6 dollars. You need a car at the West end of the Island. Restaurant menu is limited but fine. The restaurant across the street I would skip. TV didn't work but we enjoyed not having it. The onsite Dive shop was helpful. Beautiful views and we enjoyed our stay.

It’s a relaxing place. We got everything we need in our apartment. We liked the pool and the proximity to the beach. The beds could have been more confortable. Overall we recommend this place.

Close to the beach and 2 places to eat. Peter was super fast at dealing with things and answering questions. Our AC unit stopped working and he had a new one installed in 2 days! Now that is customer service. Pool and grounds were very clean and safe. I would return.

Beautiful resort w/perfect beach just steps away!

This was our first time to Curacao and we loved staying at the Lagoon Ocean Resort. It is a perfect location away from the busy capital, cruise ship passengers, and other tourists. The 3 bedroom bungalow was perfect size. We had a beautiful view of the lagoon/ocean with a patio and balcony. The many tropical birds and friendly iguanas visited the area around our bungalow, making it feel like we were in a tropical rain forest. We visited many beaches north of the lagoon, however we snorkeled in the lagoon many times and saw sea turtles, eels and many tropical fish. The swimming pool looked very nice, however we spent all our time at the beach. We ate at the resort restaurant several nights, and my favorite was the pumpkin pancakes and frozen pina coladas. We also ate at the restaurant across the street several nights, and loved their fish & chips. I will absolutely be staying at the Lagoon Ocean Resort on my next trip back to Curacao next year.

Great place if you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and do some diving or relaxing on the beach, which right off of the property. Close to some other beautiful beaches on the north west coast.

The property was well kept and staff was very good.two excellent restaurants one on property one within walking distance. View was wonderful. Great for snorkeling. Only thing i didnt care fòr was very slippery floors if wet. Shower was very very slippery. But i would let stop me from giving it a great review. I would stay again.

Great location near best diving on island. 100 Ft to beach from top of cliff. 45 mins from Willemstad, but in area of best dive sites

Everyone was extremely nice! Easy to rent a car right at the hotel. I swam with turtles right in the lagoon. The food was delicious! Peter drove me to the airport. An excellent location!

The view and easy access to the lagoon was great. The setup of the lodgings were great and having a double balcony was a great surprise.
The only negative comment would be the wifi wasn't dependable and would go down or have 1 bar.
I would have loved to stay longer and work from this location but wifi is a must.

I really enjoyed the location to the beach at Playa Lagun, as well as other nearby beaches such as Grote Knip. It was convenient to have a couple of restaurants both at the property and across the street. I wish the beds were bigger than a twin, and that towels were provided for the pool/beach. Other amenities like soap, shampoo and conditioner would be appreciated as well. The staff was very friendly and it was a beautiful location.

Wonderful sea and sunset views

We stayed in an apartment facing the ocean and the sunset (great view). Apartment was privately owned (and let when owner not in residence). It was a bit 'tired' and over furnished. Good air-con (pay when used) and wi-fi. Secure parking. Located in a popular gated complex (all private apartments) with small shared pool close to 2 other complexes including Bahia Apartments (which included a dive shop and 'standard fare' restaurant with themed evenings). The Managers of Bahia (very friendly and helpful) also oversaw the letting of Lagoon Ocean Resort. Complex overlooks Lagun beach - this is popular with divers and snorkellers; very pretty but, again, a little 'tired'. Good proximity to other, nicer beaches at west end of Island for which a car is essential.

If you plan on snorkeling/diving this the place for you, other than that there's no real reason to be in lagun. Theres a couple restaurants in the area but as far as grocery stores, make sure you go shopping before you drive out. Very basic rooms, and it was a little weird to have nothing complimentary (ie, coffee, soap, shampoo ) so again, come prepared. The kitchen was a descent set up for cooking and a full fridge. The king bed in my room was just 2 cots pushed together, and as hard as the floor, definitely had a tough time sleeping. AC worked well for the bedroom, but the rest of the apartment was pretty hot, and you get charged for your usage. I was there for 4 nights and used it fairly liberally, only 9 bucks. Basic menu at the restaurant but food and service was good. So overall i recommend this place to those intent on water based activities, but those looking for night life and a little hustle, not for you :)

Best ever location, condition is OK.

The location is ex-cel-lent, can' t beat the fact that you can walk into the water from the beach and go snorkeling and diving right there. on site restaurant is a plus as well.
Apartment could use better maintenance (running toilet, broken umbrella), I would expect this type of condition from a property in the Carribean, but did not expect it from a property managed by Dutch natives.

Fantastic beach, good value for your money

Great stay, fantastic location, very good value for your money (at least at the rate I paid). The apartments are very close to one of the most beautiful and scenic beaches I’ve ever seen: Playa Lagun. Some apartments have a direct ocean view, in others you just need a few steps to see the ocean/beach. You will need a car here, as the place is very far from Willemstad and from most restaurants and supermarkets (I would recommend a car in Curacao anyway). A car will also allow you to go to other great beaches which are a short driving distance from the property. There is a decent bar/restaurant in the property that is open from breakfast in the morning to dinner until 10pm. From the restaurant, you will have the best spot to take great pictures of the beach : ) Regarding the apartments, do not expect luxury, but the one we stayed in did have a good regular-sized refrigerator, a stove, a coffee kettle, an electric oven etc.

The perfect getaway

Lagoon Ocean Resort is absolutely phenomenal. We stayed in a 1 bedroom with a sea view. It was overlooking the water, and we could watch the sunset every night right from our deck. The Bahia bar is about 100 feet from the lodging and has excellent food and cocktails. Playa Lagoon rests directly below and offers white sand, sun, and excellent snorkeling opportunities! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, we are already planning a return trip!

Away from the cruise shippers!

The studio apartment is not comfortable for a couple; two twin beds pushed together. Peter, the property manager was friendly and helpful. Our refrigerator quit working the second to last day. Food in the restaurant is very good, but pricey. Service is slow, but I guess that is to be expected for 'island time'. Overall, the setting is beautiful, and the west end has all the best beaches. If you want to be away from the cruise ships and enjoy nature, this is the place to stay- immersed in nature, with the locals, and Cristoffel park and mountain close by.

Um apart hotel muito bom. Ótimo custo benefício.

Eles tem todos os utensílios de cozinha, então você pode fazer compras e economizar com restaurantes e afins.

A localização é ótima para conhecer as praias de Westpunt, que são as mais bonitas da ilha. (cas Abao, Port Mari, Kenepas, Booidaai…)

Posizione eccellente, sulla piccola baia di Lagun. Struttura curata e ben tenuta, sia negli interni che nell'esterno, numerosi iguana in giro, mare dai colori magici, bei tramonti. Studio al piano terra, con vista piscina, silenzioso, con angolo cottura ben fornito, frigo-congelatore, articoli per la pulizia, strofinacci, asciugacapelli, stendibiancheria, ecc. Parecchie zanzare nonostante le zanzariere, non c'è la TV, ma ci sono libri in italiano, giochi da tavolo e.... il paesaggio e la natura. Consigliato fare la spesa ai supermercati di Willemstad prima di arrivare.

Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und sehr um ihre Gäste bemüht, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Die Aussicht ist einzigartig, die gesamte Anlage ist nicht mehr neu aber sehr gepflegt und man sieht, dass sich viel Mühe gegeben wird, einen hohen Standard an Sauberkeit zu halten, sowohl was die Appartements als auch die Außenanlagen betrifft.
Das Restaurant ist klasse. Das meist aus der Nähe kommende Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich aber auch fit darin, einen Tisch zu decken. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Toll zubereitet und auch hübsch angerichtet. Da hat jemand Spaß am Kochen!

A vista é íncrivel, o Peter que fica na recepção é sensacional! É um pouco longe de willenstad e do aeroporto, mas perto das praias mais bonitas. Não pegou wifi no meu quarto, mas não sei se foi devido ao lugar do quarto.

Lagoon Ocean Resort is een uitstekende plek om geheel tot rust te komen. Het biedt de mogelijkheid om lekker op het eigen terras een boek te lezen of aan het zwembad van de zon te genieten. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Dat geldt ook voor het restaurant. De georganiseerde donderdagavond met BBQ of lokale gerechten vonden wij een succes. Verder is LOR een uitstekende uitvalsbasis om het noordelijke deel van Curacao te verkennen en te zwemmen en te snorkelen in de baai!

Fin lägenhet med balkong. I blommorna utanför balkongen kunde vi titta på Kollibri fåglarna när de åt nektar samtidigt som vi åt frukost!! Vi hade läge in mot polen men såg havet mellan husen, uppgifterna stämde med det uppgivna i presentationen. Lugn och trivsam miljö ändå nära till stranden. Kan absolut rekommendera detta boende.

Posizione eccezionale. Bellissima la vista su Playa Lagun, raggiungibile attraverso una scala. Resort molto tranquillo. Teli mare a pagamento. L'angolo cottura é funzionale e attrezzato. Ci ritorneremmo.
