We had a garden apt. With outdoor kitchen and living space. This was excellent and very comfortable and useful. We cooked many meals, as we tend to do on vacation. Our 2nd bathroom did have a bad smell from the drain, which was unpleasant. We remedied that by keeping the window in the bathroom open and a towel at the botttom of the door, using the other bathroom 100% of the time. The bedroom was fine after that. The grounds and snorkeling were excellent.

We struggled with the decision between the Marriott Beach resort and Coral Luxury Estate. We are glad we chose the latter. However, if you are from the US, you need to prepare yourself for the relative nature of the term luxury. In the US, it might be rated a three star +. Take a few extra towels, trash bags,A make-up mirror, your own shampoo, conditioner & soft toilet paper that is septic safe. They do not have tissues in the room, so remember those as well. Be prepared to to pay for food or beverages in order to use the pool or the beach front chairs. If you have these realistic expectations, addressed ahead of time, I believe you will likely enjoy your stay. The lodging staff is friendly, and the views are wonderful. The restaurant is only ok in our opinion, they are managed separately.

We really totally enjoyed the property everything was perfect. We did not use the spa.
The only drawback is that it’s a little far from the city.
Ps I did have a trouble getting answer back from my requests.
We had friends that were staying at the property and I was trying to be closer to their rooms, but I never did get an answer back.
So we ended up at the far side of where they were. It would’ve been nice to get an answer quicker.
I am a travel agent. I didn’t like your property so I’ll definitely recommend it.

Just felt it was lacking in areas for the price point.
Overall, slow service at expensive restaurants.
It looks lovely and we enjoyed the setup up of the outdoor living space and view of the garden.
The cushions on the concrete benches were really uncomfortable.
One room smelled of sewage off and on.

Beautiful views of the ocean and saw some neat fishes while snorkeling.
Entrance to the ocean via beach is down a set of stairs.

It was my first time in Curacao and i am actually glad that i chose Coral Estate as my stay especially as a solo traveler. The property is very secure-has security when to enter at the resort, its very clean, spacious rooms, friendly stuff, delicious food.. a big thank you to the stuff who made my stay amazing but especially Thaelis who went above and beyond to make my stay even better. Also, if you want to explore Curacao i highly recommend to get in touch with \"myronchitrip\" on ig. He will drive you around and show you unique spots in Curacao for a very affordable price. Overall my whole stay in Curacao was amazing, did not expect to be this good, will be back again.

We stayed here 2/7/26-2/15/26 and had an awesome ocean view near the pool. The service at the restaurants was excellent and the manager at rooftop went over and beyond every time we went. Thank you Mareke (sorry for the spelling) you even wrote your name on my hand. Beautiful sunsets every night and all around nice place. Stores were easy to get too for extra stuff you may want. We also liked the location being out of town and quiet.

Overall, the resort offers everything which is good since the location is off. The beach area is great with good snorkeling opportunities. The staff in the hotel and restaurant were not so friendly compared to many other places we’ve been visiting, a smile or a welcome would have been enough VIP vouchers, buy X get Y - was not worth it.

Room was not cleaned for 2 days. Not much to do at night. Tv only has netflix if you have an account. Staff is nice, but food and drink service is slow. there are only 3 restaurants. 2 close at 9 pm and 10 pm. Staff does not like that you arrive to the restaurant 30 minutes before closing.

Beautiful and safe location, restaurants limited selection, food good. Room a bit disappointing—not really a kitchenette as advertised. Had electric water kettle, toaster, coffee maker, small fridge and partial table setting for two. Asked desk twice and housekeeping once to get bowls of some type but never received over our four dday stay.

The room was okay. However, I recommend bring small face towels for showering and wash ups because they do not supply them. They only have medium sized towels which can be challenging to use for shower. Our bathroom flooded as well our first night. We also seen a spider too. The restaurants were good and the scenery was beautiful.

Aber USD 80 Resortguthaben (pro Zimmer und Aufenthalt)wusste keine etwas. Wir haben mit Hotels.com und dem Hotel Kontakt aufgenommen.
Keine Chance-- und das ist in Europa unlauterer Wettbewerb.

Das ist leider keine Einzelfall.

Wir haben aber nur die Möglich auf einen anderen Hotelanbieter zu gehen. Immerhin haben wir über 400 Buchungen auf Hotel.com pro Jahr.

Scheint aber keinen zu interessieren.

Ótimo quarto! Porém, o banheiro não tinha box e, por isso, a água do chuveiro escorria para o quarto. Não foi legal ter que usar o rodo toda vez que tomávamos banho. Não caprixavam muito na limpeza do quarto. As vezes só arrumavam a cama.

Great stay at coral estate luxury resort. The resort is quiet and well managed. Staff is friendly and accommodating. I only had breakfast at the resort from karakter restaurant and it was pretty good. Room was decent for my short stay. Had the BEST MASSAGE at spa 8. All n all 9/10...really no complaints.

It is a beautiful location and the villa was spotless and well equipped. The front office staff were great, but we found the wait staff in the Koral restaurant to be slightly rude. There is a minimum spend to be allowed to use the pool, which as a paying guest we found ridiculous. The beach is rocky and is only accessed by steps, so it’s not ideal for small children.

The property was quite good and the food at the restaurants was excellent. HOWEVER- in order to use the pool guests were REQUIRED to spend $28 each on food or drink at the pool or pay a day fee of $12 per person. I have stayed at hotels in 155 countries and am a Hotel Consultant and have never had to pay to use the pool at a hotel I am staying. This is not disclosed in the property website nor in the confirmation process. In the US this would be fraud. Very disappointing.

Staff was not friendly. You need reservations for the restaurants and they were all reserved thru our entire stay. I actually had to beg for a table.
The young manager was very rude. They told me that we are only allowed to change the pool towels once a day in the morning. Every time we went there they were out of towels. Also they reused the dirt shower towels, even though we put them on the floor for changing.
I won’t return to this property.

The staff was great but the resort left a lot to be desired. Really funky shower that they had a squeegee in to push the water down the drain. Needed adapters due to European plugs. Bought 2 at the front desk that were junk. Managed our way through that. Only Netflix for TV and YouTube if you have an account. No room charges so you need to pay as you go. Grounds were shabby. Food was good and beach was excellent. The island has outstanding beaches but has a real problem with litter on the roads. It was ok but there are much better options I believe.

We stayed here for our honeymoon! The Staff members were very nice. The staff at the front desk was very accommodating and understanding.

Our room was cleaned everyday and we were welcomed with a bottle of wine and roses ❤️. For the majority of the time, things were very smoothed at the resort.

We did have a few inconveniences due to construction happening in the room next to us, but the staff members quickly helped us solve this issue which was very appreciated !! We look forward to coming back again. Thank you coral estate team Ottis and Mariella, and the managers especially! 😊😊

Die ganze Hotelanlage ist Traumhaft schön. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut eingerichtet und werden sauber gereinigt.

The VIP section of this resort is extremely quiet and serene. If you have children, the other side is good for them. The main pool had small children in it the entire time so it was nice to have an adult only pool on this side. The food at the restaurants is absolutely delicious. The dive shop has nice equipment and friendly staff. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a great vacation in Curaçao, but Coral Estates fell short of expectations. Despite being marketed as a luxury resort, the experience in the suites was underwhelming at best.

Cleanliness was a major concern. After requesting an upgrade, which the staff was clearly reluctant to accommodate, we were moved to a pool view room. While it was brighter and more spacious, it still had serious issues—most notably, large cockroaches inside the room and a visibly dirty toilet. That is completely unacceptable in any accommodation, let alone one advertised as upscale.

Housekeeping appeared rushed and inattentive, and the overall condition of the suite didn’t reflect the price point or the “luxury” branding. Thankfully, Expedia stepped in and helped rectify the situation to our satisfaction.

Maybe the villas offer a better experience, but I would not recommend the suites to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, or truly relaxing stay.

Great spot. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is a great place.$60 taxi to town and $50 taxi to the airport. The spa is beautiful. Restaurants were delish! I would not upgrade to VIP, as I saw no real benefit to it, except for the adult-only pool, and the views from the ocean suites were much nicer.

The location is excellent about 30km northwest of Willemstad on the water and close to other great beaches. Beautifully landscaped, a nice bar and restaurant looking over the ocean. Rent a car to explore the rest of Curacao.

This resort is soooo beautiful and the ocean views are breath taking. Waking up every morning to the sunrise with birds chirping is a tropical dream. Loved how close we were to the beach. Breakfast and Dinners at Karakter were Amazing. And sushi night at Korral Rooftop was soooo delicious. I will say this resort is on the opposite side of the Island so traveling to Willemstad is about 45 mins away. We did end up moving closer to the city just for our preferences but If you’re looking for a nice calm resort this one is for you. If you don’t mind the drives to the main city then don’t hesitate to book!

The restaurant staff was not very friendly. They could really use some customer service training. My room was tidied every day, but not what you would call clean. I had to walk to the front office to collect new towels, as none were left in our room even though they were requested. I will say that the ocean views are amazing. On my return, I will likely stay somewhere else.

We had good time snorkeling at the beach. The beach is 1-2 min walk. But there aren't many dining options. The closest grocery shop is 15 mins away by the car. The check-in takes some time and our room was not ready by the check-in time.

Coral Estates is a fabulous property. Beautifully done. The Villas are amazing especially with huge covered patio areas and fabulous views. Rooms are sensational in the Villa. Great design well maintained. We are definitively returning to this place. While my friends and I loved our stay, paradise does have a few pitfalls. First internet is extremely spotty but that is an issue for the whole island. Out of 4 people I was okay the other 3 ugh! Inside the villa the internet was reasonable, a bit slow but connected. Outside, forget it and I do mean as soon as you walked out the front door. I had to put the destination in my google map before we walked out the door our wait 5 miles. 2. Our biggest complaint is house keeping. They do a minable amount of effort in the room. They would just drop bath towels on kitchen table. Never bring hand towels after first day. Put coffee/tea/creams on top of towels. Make the beds I think they had speed tests. I just think the hotel was a bit understaffed in housekeeping and they did not have time.
3. you cant charge restaurants to room and no cash so have your card available at all times. Service at restaurants except Bread/Pizza was extremely slow. Not the wait staff kitchen and bar very understaffed. Meals took forever we avoided and went elsewhere. However shining star is the Bread/Pizza place super friendly and service times were reasonable and we could plan for it.
This is a great place that just needs to tweak a few things.

I booked this resort to celebrate my birthday with my family. Upon arrival quick check in but no guide for the property or room. I was instructed to look at a map to find my room and still got lost. Definitely need to take the word luxury out both about this resort is luxury. No assistance with luggage especially after a long flight with layover. Once we founded the villa and the room was infested with mosquitoes. We called the front desk housekeeping came with spray and left no assistance. The spray was toxic causing my family to constantly cough. No wasclothes they provided us with a large and medium towel. When I called about washcloth they told me the medium towel is the washcloth. The restaurant was not so great. The best one was bakery/pizzeria. I booked beach side dinner for my family to celebrate my birthday. I even called to confirm and told the hostess it was my birthday no birthday celebration and a crab was under our table luckily no one got hurt. By our villa every night we was greeted by bats eating fruit from the tree. Also is resort is not all inclusive we will receive coupons on arrival. Lastly as a courtesy it should be shuttle service for grocery store, local beaches or restaurants. Overall out of 10 this resort can get a 5 and that’s being nice. I almost forgot no robes

Hi! My family and I were there the first week of February for 6 days. There’s so many good things about this hotel but there’s also some cons. We stayed in a villa, which was beautiful. However, we did find cockroaches, shower water never warmed up and the bed sheets had some stains on it. There’s TONS of mosquitoes when the sun comes down so make sure all your doors are closed or you will suffer at night. All my kids came back full of mosquitoes bites. They had an espresso machine which was so good until my husband decided to run plain water on a mug and the water coming from the machine was brown, he ran it a couple times until the water was cleared. So it’s pretty obvious they don’t clean their machines. Service wise was ok, I found the employees at the pizza restaurant to be the nicest among them all. The rooftop bar people were ok and the food was also good. By the beach, the restaurant is amazing, my kids were able to play with the sand and we were able to eat while they play. However, we had to go to the front almost all the time to either request their menu, drinks, napkins etc. They don’t pay attention to you when you sit down, and it almost felt as they were bothered by us. The front desk people were accommodating when we told them about the cockroaches and moved us to a different villa. Also, Hotel doesn’t accept cash. Overall we had a good experience, the sunsets are incredible and their drinks are also very good. I hope their customer service improves.

By no means is this a “luxury” resort. A member of our party became horribly sickened by giardia, which required a visit to the emergency room when we returned home. When her severe illness was mentioned to a front office staff member, that person blew it off saying that’s lots of the staff and guests were sick. They made no effort to shut down any of the resort’s dining facilities to deep clean and sanitize surfaces in order to prevent the spread. Giardia is highly infectious and easily spread when an infected person doesn’t wash their hands after using the bathroom. Has this place learned nothing from COVID?! Kitchen workers didn’t wear gloves and cleanliness was second rate. The resort is located in a very “second world “ part of the island so maybe that’s the mentality of the workers. NEVER going back to Curaçao ever!

The snorkeling and scuba were great! Unfortunately, you do need a car when you stay here there is nothing close by and it cost $50 each way to go anywhere. The bakery/market in the front has the best prices and the best food. I did not like how you had to pay for everything immediately on your charge card. The ONLY restaurant on the property is subpar, expensive and they have many available tables, but apparently you have to be VIP drinks are expensive $14 and up. They do have a grocery service. It is approximately $18 but totally worth it because it is $30 to go to the grocery store in a taxi and they only give you 15 minutes to shop. The surrounding area is desolate. It is not walkable in any way shape or form. The front desk was our best experience. They were extremely helpful, very polite, and any issues we had were immediately solved. I would personally consider this a mini resort. The only thing available to do there is swimming snorkeling, spa treatments. They had entertainment only one night on Fridays live singer for a short time other than that there is no entertainment. Be advised the pictures for this resort are totally glossed over they look shiny and new and unfortunately it looks like that but in a tired way. The saving grace of this resort is it it is small, quiet, secluded, great water views, but I would not stay here more than five days.

Family Time

Family mini-vacation the week before Christmas in there premium villas with a pool. Check in was seemless and the front desl staff was friendly and accommodating. The villa was chic and private and just the right setting for our family. The onsite restaurant, Karakter had delicous gf breakfast offerings and desserts! I did not have the chance to sample their gf pizza, because they were out of gf pizza dough, but check in with them in the mornings to find out what they have available if you have celiac or a gluten sensitivity. Please be patient, as all of the food at all of the restaurants is prepared fresh and takes time. The villa was well appointed and pretty clean. We loved having our private apartment upstairs in a separate unit from out 2 young adult chldren who had an entire unit to themselves downstairs. Morning views of both the pool and ocean from our 2nd story terrace were amazing. Truly relaxing.

The property is very well located and the people very helpful.and friendly. The only exception is that they never cleaned our room during our stay, and I needed the pick up my trashes and take outside for the cleaning people to throw it away.

The property itself is very clean. Most of the people that work there did not smile and were not very friendly. There were a few exceptions, but overall, we were very disappointed in the staff. The location is very far from everything but in a pretty spot. Expect to spend anywhere from $60-$90 for a one-way taxi cab into town.

Lovely location, nice facilities, very helpful front desk staff and cleaning personnel. The restaurants however are incredibly slow. Meals took forever. Drinks were forgotten, multiple times. The food was only okay and expensive. They also need to add glass recycling.

Great place to hang out, with access to the water, swimming and diving, no beach. Apartments are not luxurious, but have the basics. The beach restaurant is better than the rooftop by the pool. If you have a car, try out some of the many beaches along the west coast for day trips.

The resort/community is very nice, well kept and the ocean area is absolutely great! Crystal clear water great for snorkeling and baking in the Curaçao sun. The room is clean and somewhat comfortable but it is owned by someone. The room had a broken safe that barely worked, no phone (owners choice) and an iron that permanently stained a shirt. Just nitpicking, it was all forgotten because the view of that daily sunset and lightning storm off in the distance was magical. The front desk staff was nice and helpful as well.

Now for the bad part. The food is just ok but the service is absolutely terrible. Slowest service we have ever experienced. It’s so slow it almost seems intentional. But let me be clear it’s not the staffs fault, IT’S MANAGEMENTS. They are poorly trained and not forced to work efficiently. So if you are reading this manager of food and beverage, get your act together!

All in all great trip but honestly not due to the resort but to the fact that Curaçao is a majestic place. If not for this fact they would have received 2 stars.

Fantastic experience here. As a diver I enjoyed the onsite diving available! My four year old attended with me, all the staff was incredible and beyond friendly and she ate meals at all three on site restaurants. It’s a pretty central location in a much quieter area of the island allowing you to be away from the hustle and bustle in the evenings but access to malls, shopping was very easy and quick. Many beaches nearby and lots of ease of exploring. A security guard check allowed me to feel safe and comfortable!

My wife and I stayed at 3 different hotels over the spand of 7 night stay in curacao, we choose Coral Luxury Estate as the last and I wish we didn't choose this hotel at all. It was by far the most inconvenient, boring, unreliable hotel that was not as advertised.
The drive into the hotel property is approximately 15-20 mins, the road is narrow with NO street lights which makes it dangerous for driving at nights, On arriving at the hotel, the staff wasn't welcoming, and the check in process is long and tedious, even after booking on Expedia.
On arrival they give us a coupon for free drinks along with two wash-out towels that had holes in them. (these was supposed to be beach towels) These towels look like they been through a worldwar and is an embarrassment and disrespectful to give to paying Guest. Btw, if you need new towels you to to bring them all the way to reception to have them changed.
One of the most annoying thing was their cleaning staff. I left the sign for housekeeping and left for the day, when we returned at night the roon wasn't cleaned and the garbage we left neatly to be thrown out remain there and smelled terrible..
When we called the reception they offered a half hearted apology and brought a garbage bag 2 hours later.
The room floor was cold with no bedroom slippers, No bathroom mats, the bathroom design is terrible as water will flow out the bathroom. No iron, or clothing steamer. And that ugly painting in the room is terrifying to look at.

The resort itself is really, really nice, but your dining options are limited to the resort's 3 resturants or one or two up the road. We stayed for only 4 nights and ate in 2 of them cause we had a place to cook. The resort is close to beaches if you have access to a car. The beach here was nice, but it is man made.

Ficamos hospedados na parte que chamam de area vip adults only. Gostamos bastante, o hotel é lindo, a cama super hiper mega confortável. A limpeza é otima! A propriedade conta com 3 restaurantes, o que fica logo na entrada tem uma sopa de abobora muito gostosa que não me recordo quando custou, o coral foi o restaurante que eu mais fui por ter mais opções de comidas \"gostosas\", o karakter fui jantar uma vez e não voltei mais. Achei muito caro e a comida não é gostosa.
