We had a fantastic stay. The property is in close proximity to all the action in Willemstad. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The courtyard at Rif Fort is a stone's throw away, as is the Queen Emma bridge connecting Otrobanda and Punda. Highly recommend.

OUTSTANDING location for first time visitors, or those seeking to be in city center. 100% walkable to multiple POI’s. This property is lovely and staffed with the sweetest, most kind and helpful people. It’s clean, has multiple shops and restaurants on-site, great casino, and wonderful ambience. We enjoyed the beach and pool area, has great water and cruise ship views. Everything with the room was perfect. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit and explore the beautiful island of Curacao.

We loved our stay at Renaissance. We definitely recommend the all-inclusive option. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and welcoming (shout out to Thalia, who helped us with a car rental!). There were always chairs at the beach. The grounds are beautiful, and the location is great for walking to town (though, you'll want a car to get to any of the amazing beaches on the island).

I had an amazing 5-day stay at Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort and truly enjoyed every moment. The service throughout the hotel was consistently good, everyone was friendly, welcoming, and attentive.

The man-made beach was such a cute and unique touch! It was clean, relaxing, and beautifully set up. I especially loved that they offer food and drink service right on the beach, it made the experience feel even more luxurious and convenient. The towel service was seamless and appreciated as well.

One of the best parts of staying here is the location. It’s within close walking distance to so many restaurants, shops, and attractions, which made exploring so easy and enjoyable. Plus, it’s not a very far drive to and from the airport, which made arrival and departure stress-free.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I’m already looking forward to staying here again the next time I return to Curaçao. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere was perfect for a honeymoon! Great couples retreat! All staff were friendly and outgoing making the best of our time there and accommodating whenever we needed. Food was delicious as well everywhere we went on the resort! Definitely recommend and look forward to going back!

BEWARE OF THIS RESORT'S TOTALLY MISLEADING PHOTOS
This is no 5-star resort-- at best a 2 or 3 star. Service is poor. Food is old. Floor corridors are filthy and would be of interest to the Board of Health. The \"Private Beach\" is a joke. It is a manmade beach no more than two city blocks long and one city block wide. If you scratch the sand with your shoe, you hit concrete. The beach chairs are old and thin with no cushions. The pool is tiny. The resort's photos are misleading. I was booked for eleven (11) nights but left three (3) days early. The hotel claimed they couldn't give me a refund because I had booked through Expedia, rather than through the hotel directly. Not wanting to amortize non-stop annoyance with this poor resort by staying any longer, I left anyway and plan to work this not as advertised in any way situation with Expedia. Rental cars were mostly unavailable.

The location and services offered here were perfect for our stay. We could relax at the little beach and pool then go out walking in the evenings to experience the town easily. The free parking was perfect for our rental to go out on excursions to beaches and tour. The breakfast was also really good.

From the time of check in until the day we checked out it was a 10/10 on EVERYTHING. Staff was great. Roland the bell hop remembered our names every time we came out. The food was a 10/10. We recommend ordering off the menu. We did this for breakfast and dinner, and it was amazing. The servers at every bar were great. Gia at 5 O'Clock somewhere was very attentive. Even this review will not do this location justice you have to experience it for yourself. If we ever go back to Curacao we will definitely only stay at this location! It's been 5 days since we left and I am still relaxed from my stay!

Overall, it was good. Just a few things that could be improved upon.
greater variety of choices on the menu as well as the buffet. During our stay, we ended up having dinner elsewhere 6 times as a result of the menu.
Also, I think there should be more attention spent on people smoking on the beach. Even though there are signs, people are not following the rules, and there are cigarette butts all over in the sand. One day there were a couple of guest smoking marijuana under one of the cabanas.

Nautilus Restaurant buffet was very lacking (poor variety, food was mediocre at best, and flies were flying around the fruit). Check-in time is allegedly 4 PM but our room wasn't ready until 15 minutes later, which was a little frustrating but I get things do happen.

Had a wonderful week here. The rooms & grounds were clean & tidy. We loved the food, especially at the Nautilus which is located in the lobby. I enjoyed the fruit water that was in the lobby daily as well as the Starbucks that is in the resort. The Infinity pool is wonderful. There is tons of shopping within walking distance of the resort. We also enjoyed the Infinity bar, they had nightly entertainment, food & drinks. Staff is super friendly & accommodating. All in all a wonderful stay!

Resort is an overall 3 for us because no beach (weird sand infinity pool situation) and while the casino is very clean and nice, many of their staff are on a spectrum between completely inattentive to openly rude. That said, there are a few courteous and friendly dealers but they are the exception and not the rule, which points to poor management. Casino would double their money and staff would double their tips by simply being attentive, welcoming and courteous. People are there to have fun, people. We are low key, easy going people with lots of carribean travel and casino experience. Will not return.

We’re in the hospitality industry and travel often, and we truly can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience. From check-in with Marisa, who made everything quick, informative, and seamless, to the warm “welcome home” we received each time from Alexis coming and going — it all stood out. By the end of our stay, we were even getting hugs. Alexis is the absolute best. I’ve never encountered a resort employee so full of life, energy, and genuine passion for what he does.
Roland was also such a pleasure — friendly, warm, and always helpful. The restaurant was delicious. We arrived starving and were so pleased with the food. The infinity pool and man-made beach were absolute favorites — peaceful, never crowded, and incredibly relaxing.
The location could not have been more perfect. Walking distance to shops, downtown, and restaurants made everything so convenient. This stay exceeded our expectations, and we will absolutely be back again.

The nice thing about this hotel is its walkable location. It’s close to the bridge and town, where there is great shopping and some excellent restaurants. However, there is no real beach—the beach area is man-made, very small, and becomes extremely crowded. The pool is also tiny.

There are very limited food options on site. Aside from a mediocre beach bar and the “5 O’Clock Somewhere” bar—which we found inedible—the only restaurant in the hotel was not good. This is not a resort; it is a hotel, and I received the wrong impression based on what I had seen online. If you’re looking for a resort-style destination, I would recommend staying at the Marriott instead—this is not it.

That said, staying here did encourage us to get out and explore the island, which turned out to be the best decision. We were able to visit beautiful beaches, learn more about the island, and truly experience Curaçao. The walkability and central location were definite highlights.

The room was in good condition. Cleanliness acceptable. Air Conditioning was VERY capable. However, it is the little things that take it from 3 stars to five. Two people in the room. Only one chair at the table. Second chair never appeared. Again, 2 people in the room but only 3 sets of towels appeared. The pump soap ran out. Housekeeping, I guess, relies on the guest to report the levels. One day, no towels at the artificial beach. Beach staff completely indifferent; told me to use the towels from my room. Which, of course, necessitates a walk back to your room and then a search for fresh towels to replace the ones used on the beach. Bar ran out of Aperol. No one went to stock to replace it. There were a couple bottles at the bar on the artificial beach, but no one went there to get one. THERE IS NO TOMATO JUICE so you are not getting a Bloody Mary. This is not a criticism; just a statement of fact. It is an island with very little rain fall. They import EVERYTHING. It is fresh and the quality is good but it is expensive. 4 frozen pina coladas, with tip, $100.00 American. The breakfast buffet was good but it never varied.

You may want to sit down for this review—it’s a little long, but I simply can’t condense how amazing our experience was at the Marriott Renaissance Curaçao.

From the moment we arrived, the service was truly the best my wife and I have ever experienced in all our years of traveling. Miguel and Alexis at the door welcomed us each day with genuine warmth—it was always such a pleasure to see them.

At the front desk, Talia and Rodrigo went above and beyond to make us feel like the only guests in the resort. Their kindness and attention to detail made our stay nothing short of extraordinary. We were even personally greeted by Didtra and Luis, two of the resort managers, who introduced themselves and made sure we had everything we needed.

The food was outstanding—whether ordering à la carte or enjoying the wide selection at the buffet. Breakfast was a highlight thanks to Mariluz, who always made our mornings brighter and truly became a friend. And I have to mention Martina, who made the best omelet I’ve ever had!

When dinner time rolled around, George was another standout. You can tell he doesn’t just work there—he loves what he does, and it shows in every interaction.

The island itself is beautiful and inviting, with plenty of shops and activities nearby, but it was the people who made this trip unforgettable.

We’re already planning to return soon—if only to reconnect with the incredible staff.

The Renaissance Wind Creek was perfect! My husband & I stayed for 7 nights recently and it was beyond pur expectations. We got upgraded to a balcony room upon arrival & it was very spacious & clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was big & the shower was nice & large. The staff were top notch! Zahyra checked us in and was amazing! She made sure our stay was great throughout the week! Roland was great as well, always there to help in any way! He even asked how i was doing after not feeling well the previous day. The beach & pool were probably our favorite part of the resort. The beach was clean with plenty of chairs & towels. The views are incredible. I can't stay enough about the Renaissance! I would definitely stay again

The manmade beach is really nice and clean with comfortable loungers and umbrellas. There’s a beach bar with servers who will bring food and drinks right over and there’s another restaurant/bar on the other side of the pool with awesome food and drinks too. We were able to rent a car at Smart Cars right at the resort to explore the island which was super convenient.

We had a three night stay at the Renaissance Wind Creek Resort to celebrate my mother’s 89th birthday and the staff was amazing. They treated us like family and we really enjoyed our stay with all the amenities. We enjoyed the excellent breakfast buffet in the morning with a superb service and also enjoyed their amazing pool/ beach upstairs and their excellent service at the infinity beach bar and grill! We should definitely repeat this wonderful experience in the heart of Curaçao again!

Beautiful clean resort, right above a small outdoor mall and walking distance to a lot of the restaurants outside the resorts.

The infinity beach is clean and not as overcrowded as most public beaches.

Perfect place to relax under a palapa and watch the ships passing by.

Housekeeping was quick and efficient, leaving us cute little towel animals every day.

This vacation started out a bit rocky. I had a nice quiet room which I had requested during my booking, and after a rough trip from the airport, I laid down on top of the cover for a quick nap before dinner. Ended up waking to thundering footsteps and kids screeching. I thought maybe the parents would calm them down and I can go back to sleep. Nope, the parents let the kids run across their room and out into the hall. After 15-20 minutes, I went to reception for a room change. Long store shirt, I ended up 1 floor down and across the hall from my initial room.

Absolutely wonderful! From the time of check in to checkout we absolutely enjoyed our stay. We were celebrating our 21st anniversary and the staff went above and beyond. They brought a plate of desserts and champagne and to our room and to our surprise the next day when we arrived back to our room there was a towel arrangement of birds and wine on our bed with a personalized card. The location was perfect, close to shops and restaurants. The food was also amazing. The staff could not have been any better. We enjoyed relaxing on the beach and the waiter Emerson always went above and beyond getting beverages and food! Highly recommend.

This was our first trip not doing all inclusive. We did this because of the area and abundance of choices for dining. However, I still purchased the breakfast option big mistake. There was no variety from day to day. You didn’t get the option to take food back to your room.

The bed was comfortable but the pillows were too soft. The water level was insane. We had to take cold showers on most days. In order to get hot water at the sink we had to run it for several minutes.

The biggest disappointment was the regular visit from what looked like a prison detail. So every day when we sat on the balcony they would show up at the deserted baseball field.
