The Art Hotel was such a breath of fresh air. I stayed in the Deluxe double room balcony ocean view and the room was a nice size but the balcony was massive and the view was worth every dime. Housekeeping was quick, on point and came everyday. The food and drinks were good from the beach club. It was an overall great experience and I would return again.

An oasis of calm and beauty. My “partial ocean view” room had a perfectly framed view of the pool and beach. This came in quite handy during the Curaçao-Germany World Cup watch party, when they put up a massive TV screen. A sea of patriotic Curaçao blue, then of Nederlands orange.

Delicious food, with many options nearby. Staff are all very kind and helpful, with plenty of recommendations for what to see, do, and eat. Will absolutely return as soon as I can!

This is a beautiful property. The staff were polite and accommodating. There is no mirror or TV in the room. We had ocean view and it was gorgeous. The only disappointment was not being able to use the pool after 6pm far as amenities. And, I stayed there for 7 days which was an hefty penny. After paying at checkout, I was called back to swipe my card again because they didn’t charge me 6 cents. They were helpful in helping my spouse obtain flowers for my birthday and storing my cake.

Modern and stylish hotel, grate spot of beach club, very helpful and frendly staff, The Lemon Beach Restaurant has a grate choice of menu , very good breakfast. Do not miss chef's dinner at Lemon Tree Restaurant, it's outstanding, unforgettable experience. Hotel's location is very convenient, close to Queen Emma Bridge, a lot of top rated Restaurants around. I will definitely come back to Art hotel

This is a nice small hotel. Very comfortable. Beautiful location on the coast. Our one complaint is that it is listed as on the beach. It would be accurate to say \"on the sea\", but not \"on the beach\". It is on a rock outcropping which cannot be safely navigated to the water. There is no sand at all. Other than that, we would heartily recommend.

This boutique was absolutely amazing! The staff was warm, accommodating, and welcoming! The rooms are immaculate and smell like heaven. The ocean views are absolutely stunning! The lemon bar staff was excellent, especially bar mate Johnny, whom was invited and provided excellent conversation. The Art Hotel was everything and more! Curaçao owns me nothing! Sad to leave.

We had an amazing stay at The Art Hotel Curaçao. From the moment we arrived, the staff was extremely professional, friendly, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The hotel itself was beautiful and looked exactly like the photos online. The restaurant and beach area were both very clean, relaxing, and truly felt like paradise. Everything about the atmosphere made our trip even more enjoyable.

The only minor issue during our stay was that wash cloths were unavailable at one point because the hotel was sold out and waiting on laundry service. Aside from that, everything was wonderful. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again if we visit Curaçao in the future. Highly recommend!

Art Hotel Curacao exceeded expectations from the moment we arrived. The modern adults-only atmosphere, beachfront views, and beautiful design made this the perfect baecation destination. The staff was welcoming and attentive, the rooms were clean and stylish, and the location in Pietermaai made it easy to explore downtown Willemstad, restaurants, and nightlife.

We especially loved the relaxing cabana days, poolside vibes, and dining at Lemon Beach Bar with amazing cocktails and ocean views. The hotel created the perfect balance of luxury, relaxation, and fun. If you’re looking for a chic couples getaway in Curaçao, this is definitely a place worth staying.

Nice atmosphere and lovely beach front view. Room service cleaning was not the best they would not change the pillow cases at times. I was not expecting to pay additional for beach front seats especially with the cost of the rooms. Otherwise the hotel was very nice. Also I find it ridiculous to pay $25 USD per day for parking else you have to park in the street.

Everything was wonderful. One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in. Only thing there are not many lounge chairs that you don’t have to paid an additional cost for. Loved all the Art, staff was great, our suite was excellent.

If you are going to snorkel or dive, it wasn’t one of our favorite, not much to see.

We stayed in the Deluxe Ocean view room for 5 nights. The property is absolutely stunning, for sure. The hotel is located on a very very busy street. They do offer a parking garage for $25 usd/night but we opted for street parking which can be a little difficult. Everyday the hotel room was cleaned and brought new towels and cloths which was nice. They provided a free bottle of champagne and 2 free cocktails upon check in. Hotel staff was excellent, but restaurant servers were a bit iffy and the service was extremely slow… the beach club offers pool/beach cabanas for rent to hotel guests & outsiders. However there are a portion of pool beds for guests only and free of charge. Those were commonly available. My biggest issue is that the pool area as a whole closes at 6pm. We spent much of our days actually exploring the island and would have loved to come back to the hotel and enjoy our amenities, but we could not. This was the biggest area of disappointment. But nonetheless it’s a beautiful property.

We had an excellent experience! The staff were very pleasant, very attentive and accommodating. They remembered our names which goes a long way as a sign of respect. The facility and rooms were immaculate. We felt very much welcomed and will definitely return to the same hotel. Hopefully we see the same people there. Food was delicious. Overall a wonderful trip, very affordable and would recommend to anyone looking to travel to Curaçoa.

I booked a four night stay at Art hotel Curacao for my honeymoon. My stay at the hotel was beyond my expectations. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accomdating , especially, Phillip and Asthon. The art work at this muesum was unique and i felt like i was walking in an open space gallery. The cleanilness of the place was impeccable and the ocean view was marvelous. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Curacao.

The Art Hotel was an amazing experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. it is also connected to Lemon Beach, which has great lunch and dinner. Almost an amazing bar and bartender. The view is amazing as well! What I loved about the Art Hotel is the beautiful art pieces throughout the building. Art Hotel is close to a lot of the activities I had planned for my trip. They offer parking (for a fee) or street parking is available. I would recommend the Art Hotel to anyone visiting the area.

The hotel is very nice. The staff at the hotel were awesome, friendly, attentive and helpful. The food although limited by selection was very good, fresh and well prepared. The private beach was wonderful, great snorkeling. Was able to film tons of fish. The location is perfect with only a 10 minute walk to downtown and 5 minutes to small restaurants and bars. Overall, I highly recommend the Art Hotel for those looking to relax and the convienance of being close to many things.

The hotel is beautiful and we enjoyed that it was adults only. Our Oceanview room was right above the pool. I love the balcony but be aware there isn’t much privacy unless you’re in the penthouse. All the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and helped us with anything we asked for. It’s within walking distance of so many good restaurants, shops, and Willemstad. We hope to come back someday!

The Art Hotel is an amazing boutique hotel in the heart of the Pietermaai district in Curacao. It is very close and walkable to the heart of Willemstad and the surrounding areas. Our room had a large balcony that overlooked the gorgeous water. The staff was welcoming and attentive. The Lemon Beach Club food and drinks were excellent. We rented a beach Cabana and were served fabulous drinks and food right to our Cabana.

The rooms are small! Hotel is extremely overpriced. The mattress is thin, pillows small and the cover was really thin. There is no mirror and the ceiling leaks when AC is on. The balcony is a joke. Pool area closes at 6pm. The employees at the restaurant pool area are rude and standoffish. They only cater to those who look like them. I am confused as to how this hotel has so many good reviews. The only good thing about this hotel is the area. Shaniya who works at the front desk was really nice and did her best to make our stay better. Overall, I would not recommend, you can find better options.

Our room was immaculate! We were given a lovely beach bag which contained beach towels, a magazine, flip flops, and a welcome drink voucher upon arrival. Thank you, Ella for a lovely tour. Quincy was an exceptional server, always went above and beyond to please. The young man with whom she worked was also exceptional, a native of Curaçao. Front desk were very helpful. It was sometimes difficult to find a sun bed as they were usually all reserved.

The overall vibe of the hotel and location was perfect. Very friendly staff and nice welcoming gifts and details. The only thing I missed was a TV in the room but I understood afterwards that it is part of the concept of the hotel. And although my room said to be partially ocean view, this was a minimum but on the otherhand really enjoyed the lounge areas by the pool and sea.

This place is a gem. Staff is incredible at hotel. Rooms are new and clean. We stayed in deluxe ocean view and it was worth the few extra bucks for a large room and huge balcony. Food is crazy good at restaurants but the service is slow. Like even too slow for an island vacation. Location at first feels a little rough when you pull up but after day two it feels lived in. The property, especially the back is gorgeous. Don’t expect a beach beach but expect a stunning sunset on the waterfront. Pool is small but there’s a jetty semicircle that makes the perfect ocean pool. Seating is comfy but a little hard to come by but not impossible. If you want to hang all day I suggest you rent a cabana which is less than $100 for guests. We didn’t need it cuz we rented a car and spent most of our time beach-hopping. This is the way to do Curaçao. Drive! The water on the NW part of the island is flawless. My fave in the Caribbean (and I’ve done Bahamas, Cozumel, Aruba etc).

The hotel is OK, but nothing really luxury about it. Even though it's new, stains are already visible on the walls and furniture. Housekeeping starts at 9AM - even the day you are woke up by the fire alarm at 3AM and stay a half hour outside because they can't stop it.

The property itself is very nice and beautifully designed. I booked an ocean-view room, which the view was absolutely stunning. I celebrated my birthday during my stay, and overall it was a great experience. The food at the property is excellent I took advantage of the five-course dining experience on the evening before of my birthday. One of the highlights of my stay was receiving a complimentary cabana on the day of my birthday, which made the celebration even more special. It was a wonderful touch and I really appreciated it. However, I did not like the fact that the room did not have an actual TV. Instead, there was only an iPad provided, which was not a feasible replacement for in-room entertainment. I do feel the property should offer more options for guests when it comes to entertainment. Overall, the atmosphere of the hotel was pleasant and the location was great. I would also like to highlight Remi and Riahna at the front desk, who were both very helpful and welcoming during our stay. Great customer service always makes a difference. I would definitely book again.

A beautiful hotel with stunning ocean views. Great location within walking distance to shopping and many fantastic restaurants. The room was well appointed and the views from our ocean view room were picture perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful. The on site restaurant had delicious food and made fantastic drinks! My only criticism would be the lack of shade when sitting out on the pier ( umbrellas were beautiful but provided zero protection against the sun). Beach cabanas ( additional cost ) required reservations but were not exclusive to hotel guests so availability was limited. Otherwise, a wonderful stay!

During my stay, although the staff was very nice, I found that the housekeeping was not the best at this hotel. Dirty sheets were left on the bed, night after night, they never swept the floor, I constantly had to call for service. They gave us a complimentary bottle and took it back after we didn't drink it the first day. It was very strange. We ran out of toilet paper in the middle of the night. Lots of basic issues that we didn't expect in such a beautiful property.

One of our favourite stays of all time! You cannot beat the views on this stunning property! Everything was clean, upscale and lovely! Everything was nice and pleasant, the cleanliness, the staff and the garden furniture arround the hotel. The best of all was the beach, which was not the classic crowded sand beach from the postcards, but a place with an easy access to deep, clean and protected water. We tried to extend our stay for another week, but, unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked.

Where do I even start?
I had such an amazing stay at Art Hotel Curaçao, and I’m so glad I chose to come here to celebrate my birthday. Honestly, what made the biggest difference was the staff. From the moment I stepped foot on the property, I felt so welcomed and taken care of. Everyone was kind, attentive, and genuinely warm, which made the whole experience feel extra special. You can tell they really care about their guests, and that kind of hospitality stays with you.

The location was also incredible, I made sure to steal a little time to sit by the pier at least every other day, and those quiet moments by the water were everything. Between the beautiful setting and the thoughtful hospitality, I left feeling relaxed, happy (and mostly sad), and already thinking about when I can come back.

I truly enjoyed my solo trip to Curaçao as well as my 5-night stay at The Art Hotel.

Quaint boutique style hotel that gave “luxury adult resort” with about 30 rooms. Centrally located. Great walkability to downtown, Otrobando, and other restaurants if something other than Lamunchi (located on the property) is desired.

Oceanfront, but not a BEACH. The ocean is easily accessible on the property for a quick dip, swim, or light snorkeling.

The staff were exceptional, as it was always a pleasure for them to assist with every need and curiosity. The hotel was clean with rooms serviced daily. Complimentary water restocked daily as well as a nicely crafted beach bag (for keeps) upon arrival.

I will definitely stay here again.

This is a new build boutique hotel. It has a very European feel. The staff of very nice and helpful.The rooms are fairly small but comfortable. There is an onsite Lemontree restaurant, that is right next to the pool, so it makes going in the pool awkward while people are fine dining. Parking is limited because the parking garage is not yet completed. While the location is convenient, it’s also loud because it is downtown. Overall, pretty good.

The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and the location is very walkable to plenty of delicious restaurants and cafés. I highly recommend an ocean view room!

My only complaint is how the pool is set up. I’ve never stayed at a hotel that you have to pay extra to lay by the pool. The included loungers are off on the Peninsula, which was OK but not ideal, however, there was no service from the restaurant in that area until somebody complained. They definitely cater to the people who pay to lay by the pool during the day, which made me, as a hotel guest feel second class.

We did not enjoy our stay at Art Hotel Curaçao and I wouldn’t recommend it. Overall, the hotel felt disconnected and not very welcoming, and the experience was full of annoying extra charges and restrictions that made it hard to relax.

One of the biggest issues was the beach and waterfront area. There were multiple spots where we couldn’t sit unless we paid extra. Some of the loungers/beds cost over $150 USD just to use, which is wild considering you’re already paying to stay at the hotel. At night, we tried to sit by the water to enjoy the view and were told we weren’t allowed unless we were ordering food or drinks. It felt like the hotel was constantly policing where you can sit and when, unless you’re spending more money.

The room wasn’t great either. It had a noticeable smell that made it unpleasant to stay in. The bedding was also a letdown: the “king-size bed” is actually two mattresses pushed together, which is uncomfortable, and the sheet they provide is paper-thin and basically just one thin sheet. It didn’t feel cozy or premium at all.

Breakfast was another disappointment. It cost over $100 USD for two people and it wasn’t good. Honestly, skip it and eat at nearby local restaurants. You’ll get much better food for way less money.

Overall, the value just isn’t there. Between the extra charges, the restricted seating, the smelly room, and the poor bedding and breakfast, this hotel wasn’t worth it. Curaçao has much better options nearby for the price.

Lovely boutique hotel right in the heart of the art district. Loved the front staff who were always so helpful. Due to prebookings by non hotel guests, we were unable to enjoy the cabanas and pool side service. There does seem to be a difference in service for hotel guests versus pay for the day guests. That was unfortunate.

We stayed here over christmas and had a beautiful experience. The hotel itself is just lovely. Our room was huge and we loved the amenities such as coffee maker, closet, and bathroom. The pool area is gorgeous, and the ocean front location is stunning. We watched the sunset each evening from the pier. You really can't beat this location; the restaurants either side of the hotel are also fabulous. Upon arrival we received bracelets and beach bags with flipflops. The staff at the front desk are so helpful and accommodating. Despite the busy time, we were able to easily find parking close to the premises. In terms of the quality of the hotel and the location on the island, you really can't go wrong staying here. I want to go back!

Chef’s Table dinner was nice. Good food and decent service but not Michelin star level. Overpriced as well. Breakfast menu extremely limited. Other beach restaurants abutting the hotel serve ok breakfasts. No shady spots by the pool or “beach”. Very rocky beach (common to Curacao, but be aware). Hotel sells day passes to their cabanas and umbrellas which makes it hard for hotel guests to find a spot. Also keep in mind, no phone in room, no TV (no TV fine by me). No tissues in bath. All in all a nice, clean, new, small property. Just be aware of its limitations. A few tweaks on the items mentioned above would go far to make the property impression.

This hotel is marketed as a peaceful, adults-only retreat, but that experience does not exist. The website and promo video suggest calm, relaxation, and tranquility. In reality, this is a loud, club-driven property. If you’re booking to rest and unwind, look elsewhere.

The positives: the hotel is beautiful, the staff was kind and accommodating, the food and drinks were good, and the oceanfront views were exactly as advertised.

Unfortunately, that’s where it ends. Parking was a major issue—the advertised garage was not open, leaving guests to fight for street parking. The website also states the pool is exclusive to hotel guests, which is not true. Day passes are sold, and hotel guests lose access to the pool and loungers after 6 p.m. when the restaurant takes over.

Fire alarms went off three of the four days we stayed, and staff brushed it off as something that “just happens.” Every morning at 6:30 a.m., restaurant staff loudly dragged furniture, waking us up.

Friday night was the breaking point. A DJ played extremely loud music until 2 a.m., despite the restaurant closing at 11 p.m. The bass made our bed vibrate, and there was no hotel staff on-site after 10 p.m. to address concerns. After finally falling asleep, we were woken again at 6:30 a.m.

The room temperature only goes down to 75°F, with no ceiling fans or air movement, making the room stuffy and uncomfortable.

This is not for a quiet vacation. Traveler beware.
