We booked the Junior Suite based on what was represented by the hotel in the photos showing that room. We booked this room for the last 3 days of our vacation because this room showed a bright, clean room w/ beamed, vaulted ceilings & offered an ocean view. We also specifically requested 3 months in advance, not to be on the first floor. When we arrived, the room we got was a dark, first floor room w/ flat ceilings, pool view, not ocean view & it looked like an old Holiday Inn. We were not pleased, requested what we had booked based on the photos represented in the website & was told this is what you get because it is a timeshare hotel & they can put us in whatever room they want when we arrive.

Customer service was very poor. We were approached on 3 different occasions go our way to our room and ask if we stay at the hotel and notice people of other races wasn’t being asked. They made us so uncomfortable we only use the beach once, we never use the or went back on the beach for the 5 days. The view I paid for was not what I got. Loud noise constantly coming from the construction and the ice machine next to our hotel. Hotel room is outdated! It was not worth the price! I will not recommend this place. I will do a better research next time!

The room itself it’s ok, specially if you plan to rent a car and venture around. The restaurant doesn’t have its own restaurant (no room service) but there is one right next to it and many options in Mambo beach. For the price we paid we wouldn’t stay here again but if you find a deal it could be worth it. Bed was very comfortable and the little beach on property is very nice for kids.

I requested to add shampoo to the dispencer and it was not done, they told the other guest to buy it yourself. they told me it's not a hotel, its a time share which means to me the owner who is renting does not care. overall if you don't care of the service its ok.

I think this could have been a 5 star review but it got off on the wrong foot. Otherwise if you are looking for a quiet peaceful beautiful spot to relax in Curaçao, this was quite simply blissful.
The room was large, clean and well air-conditioned. There was a nice pool area which was great for watching the sunset, but I didn’t much use the pool, for there was a cute little beach strip where you can swim in clear blue waters and even snorkel there, equipment available from the front desk.
The restaurant just next to the little beach serves meals throughout the day, which had pretty good food, but if you fancy a wander, there is an array of restaurants about 10 min walk away.
So why didn’t I give them 5 stars instead of 4? Although the bedroom was very tastefully done, the e bathroom looked like it was stuck in the 1970s. I booked a room that was “with a sea view”. Yes, you can see the sea from the room, but the view was predominantly a mechanical digger from the aquarium next door. Even though I was treated to a little dolphin show one afternoon, it still feels a right cheek advertising the room as having a view. It also started with a bad impression when checking in. I was told breakfast was definitely not included even though I had booked it with. Although they did correct themselves, it just got things off on a wrong foot. We recently stayed at Royal See Curaçao with our extended family, booking three rooms, and overall we had a wonderful experience. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very clean, and the view was absolutely spectacular — one of the best we’ve had in Curaçao. The location is also excellent, close to the beach and main attractions.
The only part of our stay that left us disappointed was the check-out experience. Since our flight was later in the evening, we asked if we could have a late check-out for at least one of our rooms so we could shower and change after spending the day at the beach. We were told that wasn’t possible, but that the hotel could provide a space to change and shower instead. Unfortunately, this offer was later withdrawn by management, and we were told to use the small outdoor beach bathroom instead — not ideal for a large family.
What made this more frustrating was that the manager mentioned there were available rooms until the next day, yet still refused to let us use one for just two extra hours, unless we paid for a full additional night. While we understand hotel policies, a bit more flexibility and customer care would have made a big difference.
That being said, everything else about our stay was fantastic — the property, the views, and the overall atmosphere made for a great family vacation. With a little more consideration at check-out, this hotel would easily deserve a full five stars.

We had a wonderful experience at The Royal Sea Aquarium. We couldn't make it to Curacao on the dates we were booked at the Sea Aquarium because our plane needed some maintenance and we missed our connection. The resort changed the dates for our stay( it was not refundable) and we were able to fly to Curaçao few weeks later and enjoy our vacation. We are forever grateful to the resort for helping us out and changing our reservation. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The resort is clean, well maintained. Rooms were very spacious, gorgeous, comfortable beds ,clean crisp linens and towels. Sunset view from resort is amazing. We had the one bedroom with ocean view it was lovely.

Good budget friendly property. A few things, so this is a timeshare property, so most lokely when you book, you are booking a unit in which one of the timeshare owners decided to sell their \"time\". No big deal, I just wanted to mention this because on the official website they say that guests who stay can visit the aquarium for free, but that is not true, you can only visit the aquarium for free if you are a timeshare owner. I loved everything about this place but the one thing I do jot like is big enough for me to NOT BOOK AGAIN, despite everything else being great, snd that is the parking. The parking is GOD awful! and its not because parking is hard to get, its that the parking is sooooooooooooooooooo far from the actual rooms...it is ridiculous! If you plan to book with someone who has mobility issues forget it. Dont book. The walk from the parking lot to the room is a 7-10 minute walk at minimum, and for that reason, I am only giving it 3 stars.

This property was absolutely gorgeous!!! Our room just happened to overlook the dolphin area from the aquarium, so we got to see the dolphin show right from the comfort of our own balcony daily!! The resorts in the area are all open, so you can easily walk to different beaches and use their chairs and such too but the beach at this resort was most private. We coordinated transportation to and from the airport directly with the property and it was super easy!! The resort offers shuttle transportation for free to sightsee and to Punda!! You just sign up once you get there. The staff was very friendly and we even booked couples massages on the beach at a very reasonable price!!

Although the resort is far from downtown, there are plenty of dining options nearby. The resort operates as a timeshare, so the suite did look lived-in in the bathroom, but the space was clean and comfortable.

I have both positive and negative things to say about the Royal Sea Aquarium. It is in a great location with many restaurants and bars within walking distance. No room has a bad view, all room categories have amazing views. The pools and lounge chairs are well maintained and relaxing to spend your day around.
