Very good for the pricing. Room was spacious, bathroom was huge. Very good AC in the room. I couldn't get any channel but one on the TV and there weren't any soap or wash clothes in the bathroom. No blankets in room, but since it's hot it wasn't a big deal. It's best to rent a car in this area because local food options are non existent. Close to Mambo Beach Blvd which is a big attraction. All in all, pretty good stay

Luz is a great host, we were very appreciative of him and his wife picking us up from the airport when we arrived in Curaçao. Pool is open 24 hours. Location is very accessible by car. The queen bed is actually 2 twins and the space between the mattresses is very annoying when sleeping next to your wife. If you don't plan on holding eachother this is not a problem.

Very nice stay with our family
Our stay was really nice. The accommodations were lovely. We traveled with 4 teenagers and there was a pool on location, a nice terrace to watch the fireworks, and it had Christmas ornaments since we stayed over the December holidays. The couple running this house are very accommodating and hands on to any of your needs. Will definitely stay here again. Location not at the beach, car rental necessary.

Franco and Luz went out of their way to accommodate us. We so appreciated their hospitality and flexibility. Very spacious, comfortable and clean room with 2 king size beds. Pool was refreshing. Much better alternative to a hotel for us.

Fantastic customer service
We arrived late and Francisco and his wife were waiting for us, offering us drinks and giving us a tour of the guest house. They were so friendly and helpful we felt like we were visiting old friends. There are some fast food restaurants within walking distance in Salina but otherwise it's pretty isolated on top of a hill with a great view, especially at night. We booked a standard room but we were surprised to have a large suite with a king bed, which was really 2 twins pushed together, and a kitchenette with our own outdoor sitting area. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The guest house itself is large with lot's of great seating area's and a very nice pool. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was there was a bit of noise at night from the dogs. If you have a car and want a small intimate place to stay with outstanding hosts this place is for you....

Great hotel friendly staff
This was a great hotel, the location is a little less than optimal, but I was only staying one night. If I were staying longer and had rented a car I would have really enjoyed my time here. The room was bright, and comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and helped arrange a cab for me to the airport in the morning, even helping me decide what would be the best time to leave for my flight. If I visit Curacao again this would definitely be where I would stay.

Great Place to Stay in Curacao
Definitely enjoyed my brief stay at O Casarão. I was greeted at the gate and shown around by super-friendly owner Newton. The room was very comfortable and clean, with a good wifi connection. The location in Saliña is pretty much perfect--close to downtown areas of Willemstad, but quiet. I will definitely go back to O Casarão next time I'm in Curacao.

Felt Like Home
We loved our stay! Really felt like home away from home. Nice set up and the owners were super helpful!!! As soon as we arrived they were waiting for us and even drove us to the local grocery store. Our car battery died one day and they came right away to help! Close to everything including Mambo Beach! The room offers Fridge, Kitchenette, Micro and Coffee pot. Housewares is stocked as well. King size bed (2 twins put together) and our own entrance and private area. We really felt like home!

Misleading!
We did not stay there, because room does not match with the explanation and the pictures on the side. This is completely misleading. They have to change the information on the side, because they have had the same problem with quests before us, according to what the owner said. On the other hand, the landlord was trying to be very polite, and he found for us another room and paid our money back. We spent the entire day to deal with them.

Curacao is a great destination. It exceeded our expectations. Every moment was memorable. Shopping, the beaches, night life, food options were all good. We rented a car and we were able to move around and experience the island quite easily. Never once got lost and would certainly come again.

Quartos amplos e bem montadinha, porém a cama não era de casal, eram duas camas de solteiro juntas, isso para 1 ou 2 noite OK, porém ficamos 6 noites o que tornou desconfortável. Não havia serviço de quarto diariamente, foram feito somente 2x em 6 dias. Outro ponto que atrapalhou um pouco foi o ar condicionado,ele, ele ficava numa posição desfavorável, bem na lateral, ou seja, um lado do quarto ficava agradável e o outro veio quente.

We booked the 'Suite with Kitchen & Balcony' for ten days and had a great time. We can wholeheartedly recommend staying here.
Communication with our hosts was great. On arrival, we were picked up at the airport free of charge and our hosts put us in touch with somebody to rent a car last minute.
The room itself was very much to our liking: spacious, with a great bed, nice bathroom and a big balcony, where we enjoyed having breakfast in the mornings. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare and cook small meals (microwave, fridge, two stove tops, pots and pans, ...). We had hot water and did not have to worry about electricity (according to other listings, it is sometimes metered on the island). We were also provided with pool / beach towels. Room service came every other day, which was perfect for us.
The guesthouse is located in the Saliña district. There is a supermarket within walking distance ('Van den Tweel', roughly 15 minutes by foot, though you need to cross a busy road to get there). You can get freshly baked goods there in the mornings. There are also lots of shops and restaurants around, though we mostly ate elsewhere. We recommend also checking out the district in the evening / at night when there are food trucks here that offer affordable, very tasty food at night. As everywhere on the island, there are lots of dogs around barking at you if you are out on foot in the neighbourhood. That's why we preferred the car over walking.
