•We have stayed in many Dutch, British and French Caribbean hotels/resorts. This was the worst. The desk staff act like bureaucrats.
•Biggest problem is you feel very captive here - there’s no store, non-resort restaurant or coffee shop within walking distance- not even a minimart!
•The only respite (and fun eating out!) we had is going to town, which cost $80 USD return each time. No cars were available for rent either.
•There is a lot of false advertising in this property. Eg. They repeatedly invite guests via WhatsApp messages and posters to “join us for morning coffee, “sips and island Tips”, where they promise to give information about island tours. These poster ads have pictures of steaming latte. However, there was no coffee! After asking at the desk,they distractedly pointed to the bar. We had to order and pay $10 USD for coffee and there was no one giving information. Most hotels have free lobby coffee.
•They advertise a Network of walking paths beside the golf course; however they’re closed between six AM and 7 PM when the golf course is open. Meaning you can only walk on the trails in the dark when mosquitoes are out.
•Beach was very crowded with cruise shippers. But beautiful for viewing fish right from the beach.

Very clean, there was parking on the side of the hotel closer to a separate entrance for our room. They give you cards that you can exchange for fresh towels daily. This hotel comes with free access to Blue Bay Beach, which is a great option to have if you are taking a break from beach hopping on the west side of the island, but don’t want to miss a beach day. A few restaurants to choose from. Food was pretty good, but honestly the best food was closer to the city. That was the only downfall of this location, was driving at least 30-45 minutes round trip to get dinner at new places on the island each night. However, the island is meant to be explored, and this hotel being a touch more West, makes it a little closer to all of the beautiful beaches on the West Coast.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel. Very attentive staff, beautifully landscaped, very nice private pool. Charming lobby, clean, large, lots of big, cumfy chairs & lounges. Room was large, well appointed, clean. Slate floors, comfortable bed. Unfortunately, we were end unit w/ major construction next door that started @ 8 am until 4 pm. Very noisy.

It was such a lovely hotel! The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, the staff were helpful and kind and the hotel is just minutes away from the beach! Plus the restaurants were wonderful and the hotel even had special events to include the guests so they could get to know each other. It was just wonderful and I'd recommend it to anyone!

My wife and I stayed at Bay Side Boutique Hotel from November 3rd to November 8th, 2025, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place!
We picked this hotel mainly for its perfect central location in Curaçao — right in the middle of the island — and it turned out to be the best decision we made.

From the moment we booked through Expedia, the communication with the hotel team was outstanding. They reached out right away and were always available by phone, WhatsApp, email, and even through Expedia messages.

We asked them to arrange a ride from the airport, and they handled it quickly, always following up with confirmation. Throughout our stay, they were incredibly helpful and friendly — whether we wanted to book a restaurant, rent a car, or get local tips, they made it happen effortlessly, always with a smile.

The hotel itself is spotless and practical, and the beach is literally a two-minute walk away — just cross the parking lot and you’re on a beautiful private beach.

The property was very nice and clean. The rooms are spacious, clean and stylish. I do wish the room had a balcony. The food at the restaurant and the cocktails were some of the best I’ve ever had. The gym facility was small and the equipment a bit worn with not many free weights. I didn’t get to take a dip in the pool but it looked like a very nice area to relax. The proximity to the beach was the highlight of this accomodation, just a quick walk through the parking lot. The entrance fee and lounge chair rental are included in the lodging fee so that saves quite a bit of money (about $20USD per person)! The beach was beautiful and bar/restaurant attached also has great food and drink. The water is a little brown/less clear closest to the beach but turns the usual brilliant aqua green about 20 meters out. Overall, this is as a great place to stay for the money and would highly recommend to anyone - I would come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would stay here again. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. The hotel is beautiful and in a quiet setting in a gated residential community, with the beach just a short walk from the rooms. I had an amazing stay at this hotel! It was super cozy, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The location is perfect—just a two-minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches. There are a few food options nearby, but I actually enjoyed the hotel’s dinner offerings quite a bit. I highly recommend booking your rental car through the hotel, as it made everything so much easier. The rental company they work with was also more affordable than other options we found. As a nice touch, they even left balloons and a sweet note in the room for my friend’s birthday.

One thing to note: the hotel charges a portion of your stay upfront after booking, and then the remainder is due a couple of weeks before your trip. Expedia offers a \"reserve now, pay later\" option, but the hotel explained that wasn’t their policy, which was a bit confusing at first. Otherwise, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend it!

The service is supreme and the front desk staff go out if their way to help you and make your stay comfortable. The walking score is amazing. There is an onsite restaurant with a great menu as well as a walking path that leads to your choice of a romantic restaurant on the beach, an ice cream shop or a pizzaria! The golf at Blue Bay is conveniently clise and we played there twice. Really nice for a romantic getaway. Lots of places on the ground to sit and talk and eat and relax. Rooms are good sized. No cable.

We would go back in a heartbeat. We rented a car to tour the island and we had tones on parking options and never worried about security. We will be back

Bayside Boutique Hotel is an absolute gem of a hotel. We stayed there in 2023 for two weeks and it was glorious ! The staff is amazing, always accommodating, always with a smile on their face and always go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is memorable, comfortable and above expectation. We recently stayed there on March 16th due to an issue with our airline cancelling our flight. Bayside not only accepted our reservation at 10pm (after their front desk closed for the evening) but staff came in to receive us and provide us with the same excellent care that we would have received at a 10 am check in. If you are even remotely questioning whether this hotel is worth staying at - IT IS !!

Our one night stay was very disappointing. The room was a corner room near the Staff Room. The safe deposit was broken, the TV was challenging, no iron, no face towels. The outside table had used glasses and bottles and not clean. There is no elevator. The view of the ocean very limited. For those who have mobility issues or wheelchair bound, this is not the hotel for you.

This property is for young vacationers. No one over 60 that is not in shape. Our room was at the top of the property - 6 flights of stairs up the side of a mountain and NO elevator! The room was a king suite that had it's pluses and minuses. The staff was top of the line. The onsite restaurant was excellent and so was the one at the beach. I made the mistake of assuming the property was on the beach, but it's not. It is a fairly short walk, though. The beach and surrounding amenities were very nice. The water was a beautiful aqua and protected. Nice sunsets.

Overall, great experience however the servers of the restaurant that is owned by the hotel were not professional and incredibly rude. You also need a car around the area! I cannot remember the female server but she needs to do better in serving the customers. Overall, an amazing experience and I highly recommend it to other tourist that come to Curacao!

This was our 3rd trip to Curacao and we chose to stay at Bayside as we absolutely love Blue Bay and the hotels location to the beach! Our king suite was perfect for the week! The front desk ladies were incredibly welcoming and the restaurant staff were kind, and prompt. We returned to the restaurant several mornings for breakfast and a few nights for dinner. On our first morning at breakfast, our waiter approached the table and heard my husband's voice and immediately said \"I know you!\" while we were perplexed as we did remember him from our 2nd trip, he said \" You were here a few months ago with your kids!\", so he remembered us. THIS is customer service and solidified why we love it here so much! Kudos to him! We would definitely return to Bayside as the room, people, beach, sunsets, restaurants and location were perfect for us.

This vacation was exactly what we were looking for, relaxing and easy. The hotel staff were very friendly, lobby staff so helpful, and location next to the beach was perfect. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There were always beach chairs available and the snorkeling off the beach was pretty good. We only wish the food was a little bit better. The food was all okay, just nothing excellent.

I had booked a Superior King Size Room at Bayside Boutique Hotel on Expedia.
The features mentioned on Expedia do not exist!!
The promised kitchenette has no silverware, no plates, no cooktop. Not even a bottle opener or cork screw!
I had to beg the barman to borrow a bottle opener and some silverware, so we could use up our food items which we still had from our previous condo in a different resort.
