My wife and I enjoyed our stay as usual. My only critique would be that the bed was a bit firm for my wife’s comfort. I on the other hand, prefer a firm mattress.

It's old fashioned, which is really good for two reasons: the rooms are very spacious, and the bathroom has a nice bathtub.

The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful. The cleanliness of the hotel was top notch. The kitchen appliances were wonderful. The hot water was very reliable.
However, the room we had did not have a view at all, when you open the balcony you are greeted with just a large green wall with barbed wired fences. When you are staying for a month, this gets to be depressing.
The air flow was terrible. The dry stagnant air was murder on our allergies. The thermostat to both air conditioners did not work, so it did not matter what you set the temperature to, it would just continue to run until you were freezing. So we needed to get up in the middle of the night to turn them on and off.
The Wi-Fi they provide is very outdated, you share a very slow connection with the entire hotel. Our movies buffered constantly. Less forgivable is that the network is unsecured. Shortly after I left I found that my credit card data had been stolen. This could have easily occurred due to the insecure network.
We will not stay here again unless they update the air system and wifi. We would also demand a room with a view.

I know there are a lot of activities of young and old travelers . Although I stayed at Tropicana Hotel each time I go to Manila, I've always been too busy to join the activities they set up for their guests, because I always leave the hotel between 6:30 AM and came back late. I've very important business I needed to take care of. Sorry about that.

The hotel and staff are great, but the area around here is no joke. I had the worst time ever when I left, constantly harassed for money and to buy stupid things. Even at the mall I was harassed by a pimp and an \"massage specialist\" whenever I went there. I would never stay anywhere near this part of Manila again, but if you have to than this hotel is really good.

All employees we encountered were very friendly. The front desk was very helpful and so were the doormen and the bellman. We arrived early and was allowed to check without a surcharge. I love our stay at Tropicana suites from june 12-23, 2025. Place was ready when we arrived, we requested an airport pick up the day of our arrival. All the employees are so kind, responded to our needs shortly after we requested . My kids enjoyed the daily b’fast, specially the longganisa! Everyone are so polite& never miss to greet us good morning or good evening ! O We actually stayed here when my kids were 10& 12 yrs old. My son is now 35 yrs came with his wife & he still remember this place! I wont think twice to stay at Tropicana again on my future vacay to Pinas!
