I went there to experience the Christmas market there and the location was great. The hotel was modern and clean, and the staff was extremely nice and helpful.

breakfast selection is great, staff are friendly, the wait for coffee to be delivered to your table is really bad. it took over an hour to have breakfast and that was solely because we ordered coffee as soon as we sat down, and a second cup as soon as the first arrived. over an hour to get 2 coffees!

We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel during our stay. Both excellent (but not cheap). 5 stars for the downstairs, the food, and the staff.
The beds are too soft, and the curtains barely cover the windows, so you might not get a great night's sleep. In winter at least it would not be light at 5AM but in summer - you are not going to get a lie-in, even if you don't mind a too-soft mattress. A shame - downstairs looks like a lot of thought went into it, and the location just opposite the StadtWall of Innenstadt is terrific, and also a short walk from the railway station.

Absolutely no issues but one... no coffee in the room. One can ask for an electric kettle and teabags, but there is no coffee. It sounds goofy but this is the only hotel in 45yrs of living abroad and international travel that this has occurred. Otherwise, everything is brilliant, five stars.

If you like air conditioning, then don’t stay there during the summer. There is only cooling system which doesn’t really keep room cool. Had to purchase a fan to stay there.

The only aspect I struggled with were pillows that I found too high and the room temperature that at night was slightly too warm. But these are personal preferences

Great hotel. Everything seemed very new, and it was a very comfortable stay for my mother and me (70 and 35 years). The bed was very soft. The bathroom is very bright, the shower is large, and the shower head has 3 options with good water pressure.
The only critique is that when the room became a little warm, we opened the window because it seemed that the Aircon was not working. There was not much air flow and there was some street noise. It didn't bother us so much, but it might bother others.
We would recommend this hotel. P.S. we opted out of room service and were given a voucher either for a free gin and tonic at the bar or a 5 euro donation to Ukrainian refugees in Germany. This was a very nice offer, so we were glad to donate the voucher to the refugees!

It seems to be a new hotel; it would be nice to have coffee and/or breakfast included in the price, but the overall quality is excellent.

Stunningly beautiful design, everywhere, lots of memorable ‘wow’ moments of discovery; most appropriate and entertaining way to reference the famous freigeists of Göttingen. Some annoying practical glitches, like the bottom of the hangin bathroom door gathering (and later uncovering previous guests’) dust and dirt; and it is great to have a magnifying vanity/shaving mirror, but it’s rendered useless by its poor positioning (no light). Usb/ wireless speaker is a great and most welcome addition, but I, personally, would trade it for tea/coffee making facility in the room, especially in the winter. The restaurant is amazing, will forever be talking about the food and the presentation, great service too. Coffee/ cappuccino from the bar is served lukewarm. No coffee / hot drink / takeaway breakfast available for guests leaving early.
Oh yes, be careful with the toiletries, if you overdo it you may end up smelling like a Thai takeaway or a roast lamb.

I think this hotel is good only for one night stays. Very disappointing for longer stays. While a separate housekeeping comes to check the bar. Floors are not mopped well with lots of dust bunnies under the bed. Location next to banhof approx. ten minutes walk to city center. Closed garage 18 Eur per night.

Hotel is next to Banhoff and 10 min. walk to city center in the corner of a busy crisscross. Rooms lack wardrobe, drawers of any kind, telephone, any informative usual hotel magazines or city guide. Over expensive carpark and over expensive breakfast. Excellent, modern and comfortable hotel. Great service, great atmosphere, great location (close to old town and driving distance for all major town places). The rooms were air conditioned and spacious. The hotel had a modern fitness center as well and free WiFi in all the rooms.

This was a business trip for initially 2 days but later extended to 3 days. Customer service was very good however I was a bit disappointed by their one of their best rooms ,the FREIdenker. There was no iron or ironing board for my shirts but one was brought up when requested. There no desk for work and only a low coffee table so maybe this hotel does not receive my business guests. Can’t fault the customer sevice as when requested to extend to a late checkout, they we happy to fulfill my request immediately.

Zweiter Besuch in diesem Jahr. Leider nicht so cool wie beim ersten Mal. Unsere Heizung ging leider nicht wirklich im Zimmer sowohl auch im Bad. Daher konnte man unser Zimmer nicht so gut warm machen und es war recht kühl. Kein großes Problem und das Hotel ist dem dann auch nachgegangen beim Check Out und hat uns für die unangenehmlichkeiten kostenloses Parken gewährt. Das war sehr nett.

Solides modernes Innenstadthotel direkt neben dem Bahnhof. Ausstattung und Größe der Zimmer sind absolut ausreichend, der Stil ist ein bisschen Geschmacksache. Die Dachterrasse ist im Sommer sicherlich schön, das asiatische Restaurant hat einen sehr guten Ruf.

Der Check-In verlief gut, wir wurden freundlich mit einem Willkommensgetränk (Auswahl von 3 verschiedenen) begrüsst.
Unser Zimmer (1. Etage, Eckzimmer) war recht gross, sehr sauber, schön eingerichtet.
Allerdings waren beide Matratzen des Doppelbetts jeweils nach links bzw. rechts aussen stark abfallend und durchgelegen, so dass wir Sorgen hatten beim Schlafen herauszurollen und nur schlecht schlafen konnten.
Das Frühstück am ersten Tag war insgesamt gut, schöne Auswahl mit hochwertigen Optionen, Bedienung freundlich und zügig.
Am zweiten Tag (Sonntag) war der Frühstücksraum fast voll und wir bekamen zunächst keinen Tisch, kurz darauf wurde uns ein ungedeckter Tisch zugewiesen mit der Aussage, es würde gleich eingedeckt. Leider kam auch nach 15min niemand, so dass wir nachfragen mussten, woraufhin nach weiteren ca. 5min eingedeckt wurde, nur auf unsere Anfrage konnten wir eine Eierspeise und Kaffee+Tee bestellen. Nach weiteren ca. 15min und unserer Nachfrage kam dann die Eierspeise aber ohne Kaffee+Tee. Die Bedienung meinte, wir hätten keine Getränke bestellt, hat sie dann aber nach weiteren ca. 5min gebracht.
Die Dachterrasse war mit verschiedenen Sitzgelegenheiten eingerichtet, aber leider menschenleer, Getränke hätte man sich aus der Bar im Parterre mitnehmen müssen, was recht unbequem ist.

Ein nettes und sauberes Hotel in Göttingen mit guter Lage. Die 19€ Parkgebühr über Nacht finde ich aber ganz schön stark, wobei es für das meiste Klientel dort aber wahrscheinlich eh kein Thema ist. Nett wäre wenn im Aufzug der Hinweis zur Nutzung der Zimmerkarte hinkommt. Denn beim ersten Nutzen wunderten wir uns warum der Aufzug nicht fährt, bis man den Kartenleser entdeckte. Aber sonst ein echt schönes Hotel, wobei ich im Doppelzimmer die zusammengestellten Betten mit \"Besucherritze\" nicht so toll finde beim schlafen da man dort fast wie \"geparkt\" drin lag.

Wir waren auf einer Hochzeit eingeladen und haben beim Check in nach einem Bügelbrett/Eisen gefragt. Uns wurde zugesichert, dass wir um 7:30 eins bekommen, weshalb wir uns extra den Wecker gestellt haben. Wir sind dann drei mal zu Rezeption und haben danach gefragt und mitgeteilt, das wir es spätestens um 10 Uhr brauchen. Um 10:40 Uhr hat es bei uns an der Tür geklopft, wo wir schon los zum Shuttle mussten. Wir sind also ohne gebügelte Hemden los zur Hochzeit-sehr ärgerlich! Wir haben drei Cocklails an der Bar bestellt und mussten eine halbe Stunde darauf warten. Die Cocktails waren nicht gut gemacht und für 35€ für drei Getränke, kann man erwarten das frische Säfte genutzt werden und das Fachpersonal die Cocktails macht. Die Cocktails haben wir auf der angepriesen Dachterasse zu uns genommen, dort gab es keinerlei Licht oder liebevoll gestaltete Atmosphäre - um 22 Uhr. Die Flure sehen aus wie in einer Jugendherberge und es gibt keine King betten. Wir würden diese Hotel nicht wieder besuchen.

Zentrale Lage, keine Beschilderung für Personen, die mit dem Auto anreisen, Betten nach meinem Geschmack nicht gut (zu weich), Klimaanlage im Zimmer etwas schwach. Das freundliche Personal duzte mich komplett. Für einen Endfünfziger etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Parkgarage mit begrenzter Anzahl Stellplätze ist vorhanden, am Wochenende wurden die Stellplätze knapp. Das Frühstück hat mit 29€/Person einen stolzen Preis. Gesamteindruck: gut mit Einschränkungen.
