Well, I have to say we enjoy staying here because it's within walking distance of restaurants we like and it is a nice hotel. We've stayed here several times, but this time we get \"incidental\" charge on my card for parking. It's a Sunday night with nothing special going on and we weren't told of the charge. I had to call. Like I said, we've stayed here several times before on the weekend and haven't been charged for parking. Seems like that would be included. It's not like DoubleTree by Hilton is an economy hotel. Very disappointing.

I have stayed in this hotel back when it was just the Riverview and it felt like stepping into a late '80s time jump lol. After a while of indecisive curiosity, I decided to go ahead and book a room at the newly renovated DoubleTree by Hilton. I was very impressed and could not tell what it used to be. The only thing that I would say that can easily be remedied, is that the \"Riverview\" side of the hotel, which charges an extra $10 should be redressed. There is no view of the Cumberland river, the trees have blocked it out and at night it's pitch dark on that side of the hotel.

The property is new (about a year old) I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay next to the elevator if you’re sensitive to noises, otherwise the rooms are spacious and clean and other noise is blocked out. The view is amazing all around. The riverwalk is right down the parking lot. Would definitely stay again.

Was out all day and never had room cleaned or new towels provided. Do not disturb sign was only displayed when we went to breakfast at 8 a.m. removed sign when we returned to room. we left hotel at 10 am and returned at 8 pm. The check-in manager was very helpful giving us towels and a complimentary voucher for breakfast. Disappointed there was no pool as advertised in description of hotel. staff very nice but understaffed for the buffet breakfast.

The parking was a bit tight and has a HUGE bump as you enter the Hotel proper. I did feel like my vehicle was relatively safe once I was parked.

The elevators felt old and made all kinds of noise going up and down in them. The toilet holders at knee length seems like an architectural mishap and was hard to get toilet paper and if I had brought my elderly parents along in this trip that would not have worked. The harvest grill was amazing with amazing staff. The entrance in and out of the hotel was another architectural mishap & needs improvement. Overall the staff were great!

Very Okay Stay Due to Some Hiccups - Nice Hotel!

My biggest qualm with my stay was with the motion-activated thermostat. I was unaware that it was motion activated and my room was burning up throughout the night, which frustrated me greatly. Word to the wise - if you like your room to stay a certain temp at night, do what I didn't know to do and call the front desk so they can adjust it to your liking! My second issue is that there was a lapse in communication between Hotels.com and the hotel. The amenities that I purchased on Hotels.com (late check out + breakfast voucher) were not reflected on my reservation when the hotel looked at it, so I was awakened early and had to make my way downstairs to show my reservation. Additionally, I had to communicate that I had a voucher to my server at the restaurant as well. Re-explaining the same facts was irritating. The staff was helpful and professional, though, even with the hiccups. The food and drinks were excellent! My service was sub-par at dinner but was great the following morning for breakfast.

Front desk staff worked very hard to get us a room when we arrived since the hotel was fully booked due to an event in town. They even gave us a ticket for free breakfast due to the wait and it was a 10/10.

This appears to be a newly acquired property, it is nice enough but dated. We were told the did not have roll aways or pull out couches, which was very inconvenient for our family. We were also initially given a room that had not been cleaned from the previous guests.

Curtains??

The only issue that I had was that there were no black out curtains in the room with a very large window facing the river. It made for a very early wake up. There was also a small issue with the tv but the front desk fixed the issue very quickly.

We are so happy this hotel finally open. So convenient to Austin Peay. I know it’s new but all of our room we’re not ready at 6:00 pm and in one room there was a light that flashed the entire night.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel had only been open for a week after significant renovations and rebranding, so it wasn't surprising that there were a few snafus in our stay.

We stayed in Room 206, and discovered there was no power outlet in the bathroom and that the no-step shower allowed water to flow out over the entire bathroom floor. Fixable!

The remodel of the Doubletree Riverview is fantastic in some aspects. I wonder if the carpet was actually changed because it does look old. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. My biggest complaint is the nickel and diming. There is no other parking besides valet and they charge for it. Breakfast is also subpar and not included with the room. The restaurant evening prices are that of semi-fine dining without the semi-fine dining quality of food.

The remodel of the old Riverview in (Now Doubletree) is fantastic. However, not only is valet mandatory and not free but breakfast is also not free. There were not enough valet attendants to get to guests in a timely manner and the organization was not convenient. Keys were kept inside the building so they valets kept having to go inside to get keys. Most guests opted to just have keys given to them and go get their cars themselves. If you are going to charge for Valet at least let the horrible breakfast be free.

Our stay was wonderful. Great location and views. The rooms are very nice with comfortable beds and temperature control. Our only drawback was the uneven water temperature in the shower. A bath with the water jets is the way to go.
