The shower head and toilet bidet was leaking. Room was not cleaned 100%. Dirty mug was not cleaned for 4 days despite room being serviced everyday. Room was not cleaned properly, a lot of dirt/rubbish on floor remained there from the first day we checked into room. Staff are friendly but service is very poor. Room service food was bad quality. The room always smelt of cigarette smoke despite it being a non-smoking room. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Service let’s down what could be really good hotel

It’s a really good hotel in a good location for shopping. There are lots of little bits that stop me giving a top score, check in took 25 minutes even though done on line, breakfast only one barely working coffee machine for a lot of people and long wait for items to be replenished at the buffet. Room keys all stopped working before check out.

Had a great stay here while attending a concert! The location is excellent, especially being close to JIS. We got a room overlooking the pool, which was a nice bonus. Even though we arrived at 12, our room was already ready with no queue, which was a great start to our stay.

We also requested a welcome drink, and they kindly provided us with two drink vouchers that we could redeem at the restaurant near the pool. The gym was spacious and well-equipped, making it convenient for a quick workout. The room was trendy, clean, and had a very comfortable bed. I also loved the refreshing scent of their amenities!

Overall, it was a great experience and worth the price. I would love to stay here again!

I recently returned from an extended business trip to Malaysia and Jakarta. The hotel I stayed at in Jakarta is ideal for anyone attending the Jakarta International Expo, as it's just a 12-minute taxi ride away, with fares costing around $4 per trip. While the area around the hotel is a bit rundown, with heavy traffic and cleanliness issues, the hotel itself is well-maintained and offers excellent amenities. The convenience of having on-site restaurants and a large swimming pool made the stay very comfortable.

One standout moment was on my last day when I needed to get to the airport. I didn’t have any cash and was unable to use the local taxi app, but the receptionist, Syif A., along with her manager Reza, went above and beyond to help me. They managed to find a taxi that accepted card payments, which is uncommon, and ensured my journey to the airport was smooth and stress-free. I greatly appreciated their assistance.

When i book king size bed . They gave the room king size but toilet door unable to close or difficult. I call the operator then technician imminently when i saw he is also struggling. But he is told me he will repair . But problem in the sliding roller as a engineer i know how long its takes and noice and so on… I already mentioned late check in i reached almost 8 pm dam tired. I wend down to counter again to change the room with valid reasons but staff unhappy even she downgraded to smaller room and Quine size bed . Open wardrobe and they gave 2 set if access card room very hot so i kept one inside and went out and try to access the card unable to open the door . Then went down to counter service and told the situation also not happy and she did testing and gave back to me after dinner i went to my room and try to access the door unable again i went down to counter again to reset again. This round i stayed really nightmare. This is not first time i am stayed in this hotel or book through expida app. So definitely need to inform hotel higher management. To improve their standard. Thank you very much for asking our feed back

This is my 4th stay in this hotel. Always find the bed comfortable to rest for the night. Room is clean but things in toilet are breaking down. Shower head water splashing everywhere. Hair Dryer not working. Used to provide drinking water with screw cap but now in glass bottle cap. Had a hard time opening the bottles as the cap opener is too soft. Wifi is too slow.

It's big let down that my wife discovered cockroaches for consecutive two morning while having breakfast at the Food-exchange Restaurant. The quality of foods, especially pastry and breaks, have been deteriorated compares with our last few visits to this otherwise cozy nice hotel.

The cleanliness standard is quite low for this 4 star hotel. My room carpet has not been cleaned for I don't know how many days since I see some dirts and small rubbishes remaining on the carpet during the stay. Dirty coffee cup was not replaced. Table was not cleaned at all. Dirty towel was not removed. Toilet papers were not given new rolls. A complaint was raised and the cleaner came to clean the room for the second time. However, this is not supposed to happen in the first place since this is a very expensive hotel. Nothing was given to me besides apology for the inconvenience.

A good comfortable and relaxing experience.

The hotel is located in a safe area with the main train station only 2km away. Hotel reception went out of her way to assist us to find the best affordable transportation for sight seeing. The buffet breakfast was served with a wide variety of high quality food and staff took the time to talk and welcome us. The room facilities were very adequate and clean. Our children loved the open pool area that was well maintained. Overall, we will definitely stay again on our next visit to Jakarta.

Nice hotel but terrible service

1. Check in time is 2pm. I arrived about 3+pm and was told one of the room wasnt ready. Had to wait another hour to get my room (4pm). To my assumption, I paid for the room from 2pm onwards so no idea why the rooms were not ready.

2. I called room service to heat up my food. They took my food at about 7pm and didnt return until 9pm. Of course i had to call them about 10 times to check on the food. But 2 hours to heat up food is not acceptable.

3. When checking out, i called the recep to request for a trolley to take my luggages, as expected, they arrived 30 mins later. At this stage, I was totally not surprised due to the situation in the first 2 days.

They should downgrade from a 4 star to a 2 star hotel.

A good hotel choice in the Manga Dua area

It’s location which within a shopping complex. Taxis which are quite easy to hire at the doorstep. Good selection of food in the surroundings. The hotel is under going renovations at the moment so make sure you ask for the renovated rooms. What needs to improve is the over crowding during breakfast and non replenishment of food after 9am. Note that this location is a good 20-30 min away from central Jakarta without traffic.

Male concierge needs improvement

On 19 March, male concierge/receptionist is a bit insensitive to guest who drives their own vehicles to the hotel. He has to be a bit gentle and show some respect to hotel guest be it a driver or guest.
Suggest receptionist to ask guest on details of vehicles during check-in for carpark waiver or Hotel management to work on a system so that hotel guest do not have to frequently ask for carpark waiver.
Breakfast was awesome with excellence service.
Executive Deluxe room was clean and great internal decoration with cosy bathroom.

Hotel close to the Nu Mall and KL Sentral

Booked this hotel for the Malaysian F1 weekend because it is near the KL Sentral train line that goes to the airport/track. The staff are friendly and fine; the hotel is rather beat up. The carpet on the corridors are dirty, the air-conditioning is weak most of the time, the wi-fi (a public one, no security) is quite poor, with my ipad (rather new one), it is very difficult to log on it, even if you do, it is so slow that it is quite useless. With mobile phone, it is a little bit better but still unreliable. Having said that, it is a budget hotel and it gives you the bare essentials for a stay in the city (beware that there is no toothbrush or any toothpaste or comb, etc). The surrounding area is mostly inhabited by Indians so there are many Indian restaurants, hawkers and street food. There is also a 7-11 across the street. Overall, you get what you pay for.

Have been stayed more than 10 times accumulate almost 100 nights in past few years, hardware decoration seems improvement, but poor internet connection(slow & not stable) never solve either in 5, 7 or 9th floor or 1F. Suggest Management of Novotel Mangga Dua Square not only pay attention to the hotel outlook but also the internet quality improvement, after all internet is very important nowadays, the hotel bandwidth and room speed limit restriction need big big improvement.

The safe deposit box was locked. Although I told the receptionist, nothing was done until I checked out.
On the second day of my stay, I called using the hotel service button indicated on the phone in the bedroom but the person in the other end put me on hold as he said I should tell it to the reception but no one answered my call. So I gave up.
That afternoon I informed the reception about the safe but everyone there denied hearing about my feedback.
I do not know why the in house telephone does not have a shortcut to call the reception. I guess that they are shorthanded.

Was there 5D4N and I would have to say that the hotel is situated in a good location. Conveniently located beside a mall, near Ancol Dreamland and plenty of eateries from cafes, to local food, to fast food chains surrounding the place. Carrefour is also located just below (inside Mangga Dua Square Mall). Pool was ok, nothing fantastic. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices...although wish they could have rotated the menu a bit. All in all, it was A OK. If I were to visit Jakarta again, I'd probably stay in Ancol itself

Customer service was very good especially during check in and check out. Because it was my first time they upgraded me to a deluxe room. But from there on, it was downhill. The room, while spacious, was run down, the shower pressure was not great and the toilet bowl wasn't cleaned properly - there were \"remnants\" from the previous guest. In short, the room needs to be refurbished and cleaning done a lot better!
