Searching for the hotel was very difficult. It's located between other hotels and homes. It's next to another hotel which becomes confusing when following the directions the GPS gives you and if you ask people, they don't know where the hotel is. Once we found the hotel the staff and stay were amazing! We had an amazing view, and our room was wonderful.

We really liked our stay at Argo. It is well located close to the beach but still at a walking distance from the city. The hotel also has lots of service offers (ability to rent a car, drop off at airport, tour, etc). The main area is a bit small and crowded in the morning, but our room was more calm and private. We had a suite with a hot tub and it was really big and as beautiful as seen in the pictures.

We did plenty of research on this hotel and read the reviews so we were shocked when we arrived to find it was not a hotel complex but various buildings around a road junction. We requested rooms together and not ground floor as our daughter was with us but got 1 ground floor room with the road only separared by a small terrace and
our daughters room was around the corner on the first level accessed by the road and the shower was in the room with no privacy so it was a good job she was on her own as the is not to all people's taste. We understand that this is a boutique hotel but I
do not thing it meets the rating it has got. We checked out 2 days early and returned to Santorini as the hotel spoilt out stay in Naxos . There were mosquito in the rooms and passageways and we got regularly bitten at night even wearing protective bands. The breakfast area was located by the stagnant pool and we had to sit in an alleyway on separate tables. The hygiene was poor. The very small pool was not a large enough to swim in or sit round and take the photos on the web site with a large pinch of salt and a very wide angle.
2 positives was its location and they provided a good taxi service (for an additional charge).

Location was very convenient to beach, shopping and restaurants. However, bathroom design in our room for three people was terrible. Tiny toilet room with separate door next to a sink area with very minimal counter space, next to \"clear door shower\" with clear window facing room exterior door. Hard to believe they gave a room with no shower privacy to a group of three adults (in our case, mom, dad, and adult son). The front desk accommodated us with their best solution ...an additional twin sheet to cover the shower door, We then also draped a bath towel to cover the window to the shower. This certainly detracted from our enjoyment of our room and the overall appearance of it. First time I ever stayed in a hotel room that did not have a fully separate bathroom with a door that could be closed. The shower was also only about three feet from our bed and without a door, when the shower was running it was too noisy to sleep, talk, or hear the tv. In addition to the room issues, the front desk staff was very irresponsible in scheduling our departure taxi after we requested it and confirmed twice in advance. On the morning of our departure, we showed up as planned at 7a.m. with our luggage only to find that the front desk was not staffed to do our checkout and had not arranged the promised transportation. Eventually a taxi was called and we were able to get to the airport in time. Naxos is a lovely island, but if I went again, I certainly would not stay at the Argo Boutique Hotel.

Cute quaint boutique hotel. Im sorry i didnt just go straight to naxos insead of stopping in mykanos first. Friendly and accomodating. would definitely go back or suggest to others. Breakfast were traditional and home made. Car rental on premises. Super friendly staff and very helpful. perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.

The staff (special shoutout to Nicola at the front desk) were all amazing and the stay was incredible.
The breakfast had a large variety of great options.
We stayed in two different rooms at this hotel. The first nights were in one of the larger suites and we loved our stay here. It was quiet and everything about the room was perfect.
Our last nights were in a smaller queen room and although the facilities were still very nice, it was loud. The doors to all the rooms are near each other so we heard all our neighbours coming and going (voices and slamming doors), waking us up.
The noise in the second room was the only downside of our stay here, and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone else coming to Naxos!

Argo was in a great location in proximity to the beach and walkable areas of town, to include the restaurants, shops, restaurants and supermarkets.

The hotel had very poor and unreliable wifi. If you require reliable wifi, do not stay here.

The bed and pillows were hard, the pool was horrible and honesty should just be filled in to create more seating area for breakfast. Breakfast was average at best and what they charged for breakfast was overpriced. Better off to exclude breakfast if you stay here and go to the nearby restaurant, coffee shop or supermarket for food.

Other than a small hanging area for some clothes, there was nowhere to put your suitcase or other clothes.

We did have a great view from the balcony which required climbing three flights of stairs. No problem if you can manage stairs but clearly was an issue for a member of the staff who had to come to our room to unlock the safe for us after we had made a mistake in properly locking it. He made a comment of there being too many steps if he had to return.

Knowing what we know now, we would not stay here again. It was far too expensive for what you got in comparison to other locations.

Overall we had a pleasant experience over there. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was great and our suite was very clean and comfortable.
We went on a Naxos tour with the hotel tour guide, Dimitris. He’s very knowledgeable and friendly. He showed us all historical places in few hours.
The location is 2 mins walk from the beach.

The front desk staff weren’t very welcoming. The hotel tax (€10 per day) had to be paid in cash—they don’t accept credit cards—and it was €5 just to borrow a beach towel.

On the good side, the location was great—just a short walk to the beach. Breakfast was really tasty with lots to choose from, and the breakfast staff were warm and gracious. Our room was cleaned really well every day. They also helped us bring our luggage to our room

We had a great stay at Argo Hotel! The location couldn’t have been better — just a 2-minute walk to the beach, around 8 minutes to the main port strip with shops and restaurants, and about 15 minutes to the ferry terminal. Everything was super walkable, which made exploring Naxos really easy.

The staff were warm, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. One of my favorite features of the room was the bathtub — such a treat after a day of sightseeing.

The only downside was that the room felt a bit tight for two people with luggage. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but worth noting if you’re traveling with larger suitcases.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Argo Hotel for its fantastic location, great service, and cozy atmosphere.

This hotel is the perfect stay for your next trip to Naxos! It had a private pool while also being close to a beautiful beach spot. It was away from the main road while also being a short walk to all restaurants and shopping! Everything was clean and the breakfast available was a great start to our mornings on the island! Not a 4 star hotel.

The hotel overall is nice, but I dont consider them a 4 star hotel. I have stayed in 3 stars and were better. The room was tiny, more for one person than for a couple. Not even two hooks for towels or space to put our carry ons. The bed was like sleeping on the floor, very hard. We were exausted all 3 nights we could not sleep. very uncomfortable. But the people are very nice, the breakfast was great. The pool is tiny, more like a soaking pool and hardly any space for sunbathing around it.
They charge you 5 Euros for each beach towel. This was the first hotel in all 5 islands we have been that they charged us for beach towels.
They do have laundry services, and for 20 euros they give you a small bag to fill with clothes and will wash for you.

Stayed here for our honeymoon and upgraded to a room with a patio. Room was small but fine, the patio was great to spend time in the evenings overlooking the sea from a distance. Staff were all so helpful and we used them to rent a car for our trip too. Breakfast had lots of variety and was good. The pool was also nice for a quick cool off in the afternoons.

We loved our stay at the Argo with having two rooms one on the top floor with a view and one in the basement with the steam shower. Steam shower was actually very nice if you like that kind of thing and we did plunge as well. Rooms were very clean and well taken care of. The hotel is one block from the beach and close to lots of shopping including the old town (a must walk through) about 10-15 mins depending the individual. The only complaints would be the stair are a bit steep with no elevator so if you are a senior you might have to ask for help with your bags. Also ask and confirm prices for any hotel provided transportation which is convenient but costly. Other then that I would highly recommend this hotel for Naxos.

Be careful of which room you still left. I thought I was getting a deluxe suite with a hot tub and that was there. However, the room was below street level and directly on the street cars is literally 3 feet outside my window. The rest of the place is lovely.

We stayed at the Jason suite which is beautiful! But in retrospect, it’s maybe a bit hazardous with the bath tub and hot tub on the second floor, it is important to dry your feet walking down the stairs. The breakfast has a nice variety and staff are very helpful. We did an excursion with them to visit some sites and villages.

The Argo was in a great location with lots of shops within walking distance. There was an excellent selection of breakfast foods to choose from. The housekeeping staff were always working so hard, even washing the white walls to keep them clean and sweeping the outside areas. Lost power twice but it was quickly resolved and the shower water was lukewarm.

Located about 15 min walk from port and 5-8 min drive to airport.
Deluxe double suite with seaside view was cute, but small. The seaside view is obstructed by another resort but you can kind of see the beach. Quiet, and safe. Loved sitting out on the balcony in the mornings.
Easy walking distance to shopping, restaurants and more in the area. Easy to coordinate a drop off to the airport at the desk. The front desk ladies were so friendly and helpful. Also right around the corner from a place to rent ATVs, side buggy, or mopeds to explore the island. Breakfast was okay, but would recommend exploring local cafes.
I’d stay again because the location was convenient.

I would give it 5 stars but there is no parking for the hotel so that makes it very difficult. Also the shower is not hot. If neighbors took a shower or someone else in your family there is only enough hot water for 1 person and I waited hours and it didn’t warm up again.

Very cute hotel. Breakfast was so nice and staff were helpful and kind. If you have a car, be aware the small roads near the hotel are one way. Also, parking is a block or so away. You will need to drop off bags at the hotel and then drive to parking. Besides that, the hotel is conveniently located.

This hotel was lovely. The location was close to St. George Beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The breakfast was amazing with so many choices. There was a small pool and a gym that we didn't use. The front desk was helpful in answering questions and arranging a transfer to airport. We had a great stay.

We have been going to Naxos some 20 times and stayed at different properties. This was by far the BEST hotel we have ever had. Communication prior to arrival went smoothly, staff at reception were professional and friendly. Housekeeping was amazing. People were cleaning the whole time. Room and overall property cleanliness were amazing. The quality, quantity and choice of breakfast items was overwhelming. Breakfast room attendants did an excellent job. Pick-up and drop-off at airport went smoothly (additional charge) and for a token fee you could have clean beach towels every day. Great location close to restaurant, the main square and the port area. A minor concern was the street noise. Also in the morning there is only lukewarm water. If you need a shower, do it at night. Highly recommended. We will return.

The hotel was a great location. Beach was a 5 minute walk and downtown was about a 15 minute walk. Breakfast had so much to choose from and had some authentic Greek dishes. Would have liked it if the breakfast could have started at 7:00 instead of 8:00 as we had some early tours. However they did provide a boxed breakfast on those days which they put in our fridge the night before. The boxed breakfast was not the best with a sandwich, cake and apple, but appreciate the option. Our safe needed a new battery and some lights needed to be replaced in the bathroom. They were very quick to get it resolved.

As soon as I walked into the room it was full of fly’s and mosquitoes! Unfortunately we couldn’t get rid of them. I had bites all over my body!

Had a nice stay at this hotel, however our room faced a road albeit a quiet road, not a nice outlook. It was also opposite a small courtyard so it was very noisy, in fact we had a lot of noise from neighbouring rooms too.
Had a good selection of food for breakfast always and everything at this hotel was extremely clean, our room and all communal areas. Near the beach and town where there is a huge selection of very good restaurants to eat out.
The staff on reception were absolutely great, very help and polite also the bartender.
The pool is tiny and tired looking with only 3 loungers, disappointing.
An ok hotel.
